I am glad to hear more of her (and your characters in general) so what were the main decisions that Ecgwynn made during the game? Did she choose to be the Queen or remain as Wardens with Alistair? What was her reaction to meeting Nathaniel? I love da and would like to hear more of your characters! Esp. about your Warden and Hawke.

getting this actually made me so giddy. thank you so much for your interest! it really means a lot to me, tbh.

as for the main decisions, ecgwynn's worldstate is a bit of a mess. because she didn't want to leave redcliffe in such a state in order to go to the circle, she allowed isolde sacrifice herself in order to save connor. she would have leaned towards siding with the templars if she hadn't been traveling with my husband's oc, silas amell. she made bhelen king of orzammar. in the brecilian forest, she attempted to make peace between the werewolves and the dalish, but ultimately failed, leading to them having to stand against the elves. at the end, she doesn't force alistair to become king; they remain wardens together with anora ruling. meeting nathaniel again was brutal on her. she can't look at him when she speaks to him, no matter the confidence she has in herself and her capabilities as a leader. when she looks at nate, she just sees howe. when she hears him talk, she hears his father. i'm torn on whether or not she'll conscript him, but more likely is her having someone give him a bit of gold and letting him choose his own path from there. and my hawke! sage is the ultimate workaholic. when she comes on screen, labor by paris paloma plays quietly in the background. she's desperate to provide for her family once malcolm dies, and then, with the blight, it becomes a desperation to see them all survive. which doesn't happen. act 3 sage is a very, very sorry sight. if you've spent decades of your life providing for people who are no longer alive, what do you do? who do you provide for? she puts everything she has into mage freedom at that point, supporting anders and his cause. she knows how to survive on the run, at least, and so does he.

Charming in an almost effortless way. Playful and flirtatious, but capable of taking things seriously when necessary. Prefers to talk her way out of problems when she can. Can usually tell when someone is trying to manipulate her and has no problem trying to manipulate them back. Slow to let her guard down and let people in.

BG3 Background

Born and raised in a splinter cult of the Church of Cyric, Elysia witnessed some truly awful things growing up, things she’s never confessed to anyone. Surrounded by paranoia and narcissism on all sides, she longed for safety and stability. But she played the game well, acting her part as another power hungry patron of the church, using her powers as a sorcerer, when she came into her magic, to throw her weight around in a way that pleased her elders and left her mostly alone.

One day, a paladin showed up in town, and they struck up a friendship. She was mostly allowed to do as she pleased at that time, and was slowly squirreling away money so she could travel to Waterdeep and book passage to get as far away as possible. When she found out he was a paladin of Lathander, she begged him to leave, to get as far away as he could before the others found out.

But he’d sworn an oath to help her escape, and refused to abandon her. When the Church found out they were speaking, she was punished, locked away in the compound and not allowed to leave. The paladin was captured, and the only way she could regain their trust was by sacrificing him.

She refused.

They made her watch as they sacrificed him instead. In her distress she called out for Mystra, having learned from the paladin that the mother of magic was still alive, hoping the goddess would take pity on her and help her to destroy the monsters dedicated to the god who had slain her.

The goddess answered her call, and imbued with Mystra’s divine power and her own magic, Elysia razed the cult to the ground. Since then she’s been a faithful follower of the goddess, crediting her with helping her destroy the place that made her life hell.

Dragon Age background

Elysia doesn't remember anything before life in the Fereldan circle. She was taken from her parents at a young age, even before her magic came in, as her father was an apostate mage on the run. Once it was clear she was magically inclined, she was brought to Kinloch hold, to begin her training.

Life in the tower was... fine. She was talented, trained by first enchanter Irving. As it was the only life she'd ever known, she didn't think much of it, until Jowan escaped and she joined the grey wardens to avoid being sent to prison.

It turned out she was missing so much. And she promised then and there, no one was ever going to lock her in a Circle again.

Alistair | I am not immune to cliches. The stupid rose got to me so yeah I romanced him. I only romance him as Amell so he gets the one playthrough sorry my dude

can you give us more info about your warden :c and maybe about your other dragon age protagonists as well?

oh, i'd NEVER turn down an opportunity to talk about my warden! i'm playing origins currently, and i cannot stop thinking about her. so, ecgwynn is her mother's stormy daughter. bryce teases sometimes that she was born from a raincloud and not from him at all, that she's a cousland by name alone. (which ecgwynn hates, but she refuses to speak up against her father. eleanor is more vocal about her displeasure.) she is the most dutiful daughter anyone could ask for, right down to putting her bow aside to learn gentler arts if it's requested of her, right down to wordlessly accepting her father's efforts at marrying her to nathaniel howe. but despite that, she's always been rainy. she's always had a rumble of thunder in her voice. we all know how everything turns out, except... she nearly didn't make it out of castle cousland alive. two of howe's men managed to grab her while she and eleanor were trying to find her father, and they hauled her to a man with a great, gleaming axe, one already dripping with blood. they meant to kill them both, and it's a miracle that they didn't manage to do just that. still, the axe came down, burying into her shoulder, and giving her a wound that would stick with her through the remainder of the campaign against the darkspawn. (i love wounds in a narrative. i eat that shit up.) it was duncan who saved her.

Le chantier français Gibert Marine a été un des plus gros chantiers français. Il a produit certains des voiliers les plus importants de la plaisance française. Les voiliers Gib Sea ont aujourd’hui une réputation qui en fait des valeurs sûres du marché du bateau d’occasion. Retour sur ce chantier historique et sur les meilleurs voiliers Gib Sea. Certains chantiers ont marqué l’histoire de la plaisance plus que d’autres. Cela est généralement dû à des patrons visionnaires, accompagnés d’architectes talentueux, mais aussi d’équipes de production capable, à l’époque, de remettre en question tout leur savoir-faire pour anticiper les évolutions techniques et rester innovants. Le chantier Gibert marine, et ses voiliers dont la célèbre gamme Gib Sea, fait partie de ces chantiers historiques, sans qui la plaisance ne serait pas ce qu’elle est aujourd’hui.

Histoire du chantier Gibert Marine

Le chantier Gibert Marine est né en 1972. Le chantier s’installe alors à Marans, en Charente Maritime… encore un. Le chantier arrive a une période ou le marché de plaisance est déjà en pleine ébullition. Les grands noms du secteur comme les chantiers Mallard, Jouët, Quéré ou encore Wauquiez sont déjà bien installés. Les évolutions techniques sont en train de bouleverser le milieu de nautisme, grâce, notamment, à des patrons de chantier comme Maurice Edel et des architectes de talents comme jean Marie Finot, Henri Amel ou Philippe Harlé. L’année 1972, c’est l’année de la sortie de voiliers comme le Romanée, le Super Arlequin, l’Edel 4 ou encore le Dufour 35. La plaisance connaît déjà de grands succès commerciaux. Mais le chantier Gibert marine va tout de suite se faire une place sur ce marché grâce à un premier succès. Le voilier Tequila. Ce petit voilier sportif, dessiné par Philippe Harlé va rapidement servir de tremplin, pour le chantier. S’en suivra le Flush Poker, qui connaîtra le même succès.

Publicité Gib Sea 1988 Dans les années 1980, le chantier va passer un cap avec la production de plusieurs voiliers de croisière, de doute tailles, qui vont trouver le succès auprès de nombreux plaisanciers. Je pense, notamment, à des voiliers comme le Gib Sea 28, le Gib Sea 26 ou encore le Gib Sea 77. Au milieu des années 80, le chantier Gibert Marine fait appel à Patrick Dubois et Grégoire Dolto, les deux architectes du groupe Graal. Ensemble, ils vont lancer une gamme de petits voiliers confortables qui va rencontrer un gros succès. Le chantier Gibert Marine va bien supporter la montée en puissance des futurs leaders comme Bénéteau, Jeanneau ou Dufour yacht. Le chantier gardera, très longtemps, une place de 3ème constructeur français. Certains de ses voiliers, dans les années 90, se feront une très belle réputation comme les Gib Sea 352 et 372. Cette place, il va d’ailleurs la garder jusqu’à la fin des années 90. Malheureusement, le chantier va avoir beaucoup de mal à passer la crise de la plaisance, de ces années. En 1995, le chantier, et toute la gamme Gib Sea, vont être racheté par deux investisseurs, les frères Van Gaver . Cependant, ces deux derniers n’arriveront pas à relancer le chantier. La gamme Gib Sea est alors rachetée par le chantier Dufour, sous le contrôle de Olivier Poncin depuis 1988. Sous la période Dufour, la gamme Gib Sea va continuer à proposer quelques voiliers de croisière avant que la marque ne disparaisse, en 2004. Ce sera l’époque des Gib Sea 37 et Gib Sea 43.

Les premiers voiliers du chantier Gibert marine

L’histoire du chantier est indissociable de ses premiers succès. Parmi ces voiliers qui ont permis à Gibert marine de passer un cap, certains restent naviguent encore et fait la joie des plus anciens, comme des plus jeunes. - Tequila : le tequila est un des bateaux, avec le Flush Poker, qui a réellement lancé le chantier Gibert marine. Ce plan de Philippe Harlé est une évolution du voilier construit alors en bois, par le chantier Aubin. Le tequila de Gibert marine sera plus sage et construit en polyestere. 250 tequila sortiront du chantier de 1972 à 1979. - Gib Sea 28 : Le Gib Sea 28 sera produit à 380 unités, de 1978 à 1983. ce voilier, souvent acheté en version dériveur lesté est un excellent voilier de croisière côtière. Raide à la toile et simple à faire marcher, il est parfait pour des navigations familiales. - Flush Poker : le Flush Poker est un plan de Michel Joubert. Ce sera même son premier succès. Lancé en 1972, le Flush Poker sera produit à 150 unités, jusqu’en 1978. Il ne faut pas le confondre avec le Poker, qui possède la même carène, mais produit par Jeanneau. Le Flush Poker sera la star des plans d’eau, lors des régates estivales.

Les voiliers Gib Sea et la plaisance populaire

Gib Sea 262 - Gib Sea 68 : Le Gib Sea 68 a été construit de 1983 à 1985. ce plan Fauroux a été construit à 180 exemplaires. Ce petit voilier simple et amusant est encore très agréable, pour des plaisanciers recherchant un voilier à petit budget. - Gib Sea 76 : un voilier de 7,50 très confortable, marin et rapide. Un des meilleurs voiliers de sa génération. Il faut dessiné par le groupe GRAAL. - Gib Sea 242 et Gib Sea 262 : ces deux voiliers, dessinés par le même cabinet sont deux exemples de ce que doit être la voile populaire : Des voiliers simples et familiaux. Les polonais n’ont rien inventé, c’est bien Gibert marine qui a lancé le concept avec les Gib Sea 242 et 262. - Gib Sea 312 : ce plan Rob Humphreys n’a pas connu le succès de ses confrères. 8À voiliers ont été construits. Pourtant, le Gib Sea 312 est un excellent croiseur de 9 mètres, rapide, marin et très agréable à mener.

Les voiliers Gib Sea et la régate

- Gib Sea Plus 80 : Ce plan Berret et Racoupeau a connu un succès commercial comme en régate. Près de 200 Gib Sea Plus 80 ont été produit. C’est un bateau économique et performant. C’est ce qui a fait son succès. - Gib Sea 302 : le Gib sea 302, dessiné par Michel Joubert et Bernard Nivelt va connaître un beau succès, de 1992 à 1996. Ce voilier va se faire de belles places entre trois bouées. Ce course-croisière à tous les atouts que recherche un plaisancier d’aujourd’hui.

Les voiliers Gib Sea et la grande croisière

- Gib Sea 37 : ce voilier n’est autre que le Gin Fizz. Le chantier Gibert a racheté les plans et les moules à jeanneau. Le plan de voilure sera différent puisque le Gib Sea 37 sera gréé en ketch. - Gib Sea 105 et 106 : Voilà un bateau de grosse mer. Le Gib Sea 105 adore le mauvais temps. Il est raide à la toile, costaud et rapide au portant. Il a été dessiné par Michel Joubert et sera produit à 350 exemplaires, de 1980 à 1987.
