Announcement

Hello everyone. This is J. R. Steele on the Station Arcadia account today bringing you some updates, announcements, etc.

Firstly, you may have noticed that our website domain is currently unused. We've recently taken down our website, but failed to consider that transcripts would no longer be available. The link to our transcripts will replace the link in our profile bio. Thank you to everyone in the discord server who has been patient with our radio silence, and have updated us on what they need to access.

Second, we want to apologize for dropping off after Season 1. With Season 2 in full production; myself, Andy, and Eli were incredibly overwhelmed by both college, and the responsibility of managing not only a company, but our cast and crew who were also getting burnt out. Pushing this production was proving to be detrimental to our mental and physical health, and so we just left it to sit for a while.

I've been doing my best when possible to reply to folks on discord, and get organized for our next steps, but going radio silent was not the best solution, we know now. As 17/18 year olds, we sort of panicked when everything started to go less smoothly. In addition to that, college apparently takes up a LOT of time? I certainly wasn't expecting that... /lh

But we are not abandoning this podcast. 2020 was a hard year for so many people, but Station Arcadia was the highlight of mine and many others' year. A lot of creatives experienced the hardships of continuing a creative project once real life came back, and we did too. But we managed to create an incredible first season, and a little bit of a second season.

Season 2 does exist! But not in its full form. Over the course of maybe the next few months, or years, the executive team will be discussing how to distribute our content so that you amazing, supportive folks can have full access to our baby. Our writers, worldbuilders, audio editors, musicians, cast members, and everyone else who helps to make this show happen worked incredibly hard to do S2, and we won't let any of that hard work go to waste.

Third, a few internal snags have hit us pretty hard over the past year now. We will not be releasing this information until we've spoken fully with our entire production team and our cast (but rest assured it's nothing too severe).

We've loved our time with every single cast member who has joined this ambitious project. And if any of you have a specific question, we will not hesitate to answer it. It may reach us quicker if you DM or email me (Jaymes) at penofsteele@gmail.com. I will do my best to respond concisely and truthfully.

Lastly, we want to say a few words of thanks to the folks who have stuck with us since the beginning, have supported us both financially and verbally, and have had faith in this project. We promise that even though it will take time, we will not disappoint you!

Crystalline Roses and Cobalt Thorns announcement(I guess?)

Hello, it is I Yonoko. You may know me as the wmmap Jennette account. I am starting my new wmmap au project "Crystalline Roses and Cobalt Thorns".

I'll be mixing comic panels and text together to make my story come to life. There will be several additions to the cast such as new love interests for Athanasia and Jennette( just to note). The story will be available on Wattpad as ao3 does seem to allow pictures beyond Google.

This is the official account for the CrCt project, updates, artworks and sneak-peaks will be uploaded here. I hope you look forward to my wmmap au, soon to be available in late-August.

My toxic trait is making both my wmmap oc's constantly make fun of the failures that are the men in Athy and Jennie's life. Because after getting with them the girls' mental health skyrockets.

I mean c'mon, they can't even make chocolate for Athanasia. Loosers wouldn't be able to handle a 5 min convo of Jennette's newest hyperfixation.

Meanwhile Orhul over here creating a 5-tier chocolate fudge cake effortlessly and dragging Athy to get the sleep she deserves and Letizia constantly yelling about how much she loves her eldritch horror wife and her skrunkly tendencies.

This isn't high standards, the is the bare minimum that the girls deserve.

(Writing this a second time, because Tumblr ate the first draft. Since english isn't my mothers tongue, please bear with my incoherent ramblings.)

My Athanasia - Plötzlich Prinzessin Collectors Edition arrived today and I wanted to share some pictures. Sorry for the low quality, I am kind of in a rush getting to the Vet to pick up my guinea pigs lol

What does it look like?

The cover is fully removeable and coloured in a nice dark green. The title is written in golden letters and a picture of Athanasia when she first meets Ijekiel is in the center.

I have to say, it does feel a bit cheap, which is annoying because it costs 30€. I'd have expected for the lid to be solid cardboard with the Art printed on - that's not the case. The art is "folded around" and glued on. It's still nice, but for the price of, and I have to say it again, 30€, I am a bit salty about this.

Now, to the question everyone actually wants to know:

What's inside?

Nine cards! That's probably the reason why amazon listed the Collectors Edition as Cards Edition!

The cards show various characters of the Manhwa. I paired them like this because I thought it fits, but I am not sure if that one character is Lili or Penelope. I think it's Lili, but since I could pair the other ones so nice you all have to pretend it's Penelope now. Or maybe Lili had a little swing our little Edgelord and Jen is now their love child lol

The back is of the same green and pattern as the lid of the box. The Manhwa's name is written in golden letters in the top center.

As with the lid, I am a bit disappointed with the quality of the cards. Don't get me wrong, they do look absolutely georgeus (and that's what's important in the end, I suppose) but they are kind of... wobbly. I'd have wished for them to be a bit more solid to the touch.

I think it's the first time I've seen some of these pictures but I think I always miss some stuff, so maybe they are all already well known. I'll try to scan them later, but my scanners app hates me and always crashes when I hit save :)

That's not all there is in the Box though! There are two nice and heavy (yay!!) Acrylic stands of Athanasia and Claude! They aren't very big but they look and feel nice. I think they are the same as they were in another Collectors Edition, but I will have to check Spoons Instagram Account to confirm.

What else is new?

Nothing, actually. Just like the first Volume, the second Volume is really heavy. Maybe a bit too heavy, but really, I'm not complaining about some good quality paper and colours.

I took some pictures from the Cover of the Manhwa itself, from the first page (I so love the tree and leaf theme going on with this volume).

But!!! We have a new in-between-chapter-Art!!

Can you elaborate? I mean, the sources I get are mainly korean, and I get my mom to help me with words I don't know since google translate is shit- The wattpad translation is the only one I know is frequently being updated due to people mentioning it, otherwise it's on Aladdin and Ridibooks and other korean websites.

The date for the german Who Made me a Princess Volume 2 was pushed back to the 19th december :(

It's also now called "Deluxe Edition" (at least at my local bookshops website) and costs 2€ more :')

On using multiple pronouns:

You may have noticed that Samuel from Episode 15 uses both he/him and they/them! People who use multiple pronouns are actually fairly common.

Some people like using multiple pronouns in the same sentence, for example: “I met him today and they were really fun to talk to!” Some people prefer if you pick one pronoun and run with it for a bit, and then switch! 

Some people feel more comfortable using different pronouns on different days. Sometimes those days overlap! “What are your pronouns today?” “He/him or they/them is fine!”

There are even people who use different pronouns with different names. Our audio editor, J. R. Steele, enjoys using he/him or they/them with Jaymes, but they/them with his other name, Edisel.

It depends on the person, but it’s always okay to ask for the individual’s preferences!
