Was almost falling asleep but for some reason this came to mind and I needed to ask. If you have answered it before and I missed it, I'm sorry, but does Ingo found out about Chandelure at some point?

No one has asked this question if I'm being honest.

I know I've thought about it a lot though, I want Ingo to find out at some point, it's just figuring out the when and how. I imagine it wouldn't be until later on, maybe before the kids go on their journey or after they go into the Blue Berry academy, or maybe even around the time Fjord has his accident. as for the how, I have no idea, Maybe something Synchro (which a mechanic in the dlc I love, even if its just how it can be used in a narrative) Or maybe I could bring N into fold, Maybe Ingo starts picking up hints and manages to put them together only to discover 'of shit, Chandelure has been Zisu this whole time' (not even going to bother hiding it anymore everyone pretty much knows) Maybe Fjord and Caleb find out first, and tell their dad, and he's like 'Zisu?' and she's just like 'glad you noticed' I don't know, I'm open to suggestions,

basically, the answer is Yes, Ingo does find out, but I have no idea the how and when :D

hehe, thank you! my partner and i have been RPing it in discord and it's given me permanent brainworms. i think about it constantly. (i thought briefly about turning it into an rpg maker game but i know for a fact that i wont do it because i hate making sprites and tilesets)

so, aside from ingo/leon, the other ships involved are (and there's some poly overlap that i would probably need to make a chart for):

emmet/piers and raihan/volo.

and then the poly overlaps are emmet/volo and ingo(the Worm actually since it is a different entity even though it shares a body with ingo)/piers.

honestly, raihan/volo was the ship that took us off guard because they ended up having good chemistry somehow.

Fanfic Recs! pt. 1

Hello hello! For yall that don't know me, I'm Billy or Sataara, either is fine, and I read a lot of submas fics so I decided to make a list of some recommendations that I have! A few things about me is that I can't deal with unhappy endings, heavy angst and/or any pairings where both brothers are with someone else (also no bl/nkship), so if you're looking for any of these types of fics, I'm sorry but you won't find it here :/

That aside, I'll make more than one post since this was getting kind of long, this first one are just multi-chapter fics! Most of these are either reunion fics or Ingo living after getting back from Hisui, with some exceptions! Gonna leave the actual description under the link with small personal notes on my opinion about them!

This fic got me hooked from start to finish, I was up until 5am at one point because I just couldn't put it down. Reunion with a lot of bumps in the road that only make the story more interesting and flashbacks that only add context making the fic more robust.

Of all the lands, all the regions, all the timelines, it was Unova that was chosen. It was Unova that was the first to lose someone to a mythical being outside the domain of Truth and Ideals. It was Unova that fell victim to the being already tormenting both the Sinnoh of now, and the Hisui of then. While it wouldn't be Truth or Ideals that would ultimately lead Giratina to regretting going along with Volo, it would learn the taste of regret and defeat all the same in many flavors. Stealing the partner of a fiery ghost is a lesson not learned yet, but it will be. Oh, it will be.

This one I can not recommend enough, beautifully crafted story, completely gut wrenching, I've read it twice not counting the times I reread my favorite parts and cried a lot, mind the tags but do read it if you haven't already.

Lucas is sent on a mission to investigate a sacred site to the Diamond clan. As added backup, he takes Ingo with and inadvertently unlocks his memories, deepening the mystery they have to solve together.

But talking about this fic in specific, the concept uses a common trope but the way it's used is fresh and so intriguing! I kept reading each chapter as soon as I got the notification, I cried happy tears reading it.

Yeah, I was trying to say that they didn't like kill the idea that he might actually be autistic but I think that I just didn't understand exactly what you meant, but I can see how that could make you feel bad. I think the authors just thought it would be a good reason to make him talk about all that stuff. I don't have much hopes for them to make it canon that he is autistic but it would still be nice if they did.

Prompt by @sataara: “Josh having a bad day and Ahk and Finn taking it upon themselves to cheer him up.”

Josh is lying facedown on his bed when Finn climbs through his window and falls ungracefully to the floor with a thump.

“Dude,” Josh says.

Finn stands up, and he is, thankfully, not naked. He frowns at Josh.

Josh frowns back because, well, he’s not the guy who just climbed into someone’s room through the window.

Finn’s face softens.

“Bad day?”

Josh buries his face in his pillow again.

“Yeah,” he says, voice muffled.

Finn whips out his phone and discreetly sends off a text to their resident Pharaoh. Then he starts rummaging in Josh’s closet.

“What are you doing?”

“Looking for something to do. You’ve gotta have some board games or something.”

Josh snorts.

“Board games are boring.”

Ahkmenrah walks into the room with a flourish.

“I am here, Finn,” he says regally, in his British accent that sets him apart from the rest of them, barring Freddie.

Josh makes a double take when he registers Ahk is wearing casual modern clothes.

“Joshua, Finn said you were, um.” The ancient teenager checks his phone and frowns. “’Having a sad’?”

“A big sad,” Finn corrects as he pulls out a box of old wii games. He dumps it on the end of Josh’s bed.

Ahk makes a face of stern disapproval. He points a finger at Josh.

“Have you eaten today? Have you drunk any water?”

Josh shakes his head.

Ahk disappears downstairs and returns with a bag of pizza rolls and a glass of water. He thrusts them unceremoniously at Josh.

Josh accepts the offerings only because he knows Ahk will be upset if he doesn’t. He hesitantly downs the glass of water and tears off a piece of a roll.

Ahk beams, and turns to help Finn.

Josh sits up as his two dopplegangers start rummaging through the box of video games.

“Guys. Seriously. You don’t have to do this.”

Finn sits on Josh’s bed and puts a finger to his lips.

Josh glares at him as Ahk snickers.

“Well, if you’re not going to help us choose, I’m going to,” Finn says. He blindly reaches into the box and pulls out a copy of Mario Kart.

Josh groans good-naturedly as Finn grins in delight. Ahk just looks confused.

“I have not played this game before,” he says, confused, as he attempts to read the back of the case over Finn’s shoulder.

“Yeah, well, you should get out more,” Finn teases as he puts the disc in the wii console.

Ahk looks heavily offended.

“I’ll have you know – ”

Josh puts a hand on his friend’s shoulder.

“He’s just messing with you, Ahk,” he offers placatingly.

“I know. That’s why I’m upset.”

Josh laughs as Finn hands them each a controller. Ahk and Finn sit on either side of Josh. Somehow, they all fit on the end of the bed, but Josh know he could just as easily push Finn off when he inevitably hits him with a blue shell.

Finn, surprisingly, chooses boring old Mario. Josh is Bowser, and Ahk of course, being the morbid guy that he is, chooses Dry Bones, the only dead character in the cast.

“I’m going to fucking destroy you bitches,” Finn snickers.

Josh rolls his eyes.

“Wanna bet?”

Josh selects Rainbow Road.

Finn glares at him.

Ahk smiles nervously, for he has no idea what is going on.

They wait for the race to load.

“Thanks, guys,” Josh says.

Finn pats him on the shoulder. Ahk bows his head.

And then they race each other to the end.
