Movie that perfectly encapsulates that out of body feeling you get when you turn off the lights and run up the stairs because the minute you turned the lights off a creature that wants you dead poured itself into the darkness behind you

actually giving this its own post. i just think it's really funny that for being "nothing like the movie", the show sure dealt with gabe's petrification in the exact same way, right down to it being an after-credit scene and it being an accident

Just remembered that the monster high movie where they were in monster france and everyone had horrible fake french accents and some evil fashion designer lady essentially esnlanved a teenage boy that was her apprentice like she had him locked in her basement designing clothes for her day in day out then she also tried to kidnap clawdeen to make her do the same, that movie apparently wasn't a really weird dream and actually exists

Fuck it. New saw au
Everyone except John is a kindergartener and John is their nice but scary teacher. The apprentices are the designated class helpers and use their status to bully the other kids into giving them the good snacks they earned for being good at the end of the day. Billy the Puppet is their class pet.
Amanda "dying" was her being transferred to a different class. Half the class held a big pretend vigil while the other threw a big party. John's "death" was him going on sick leave so little Mark Hoffman took over the classroom and started terrorizing the other kids
The traps are actually just the kids being tasked to write an essay explaining what they did and why they thought it was appropriate and how they won't ever do it again. If they "failed" the test they were put in time out, and if they succeeded they got to pick a snack out of John's giant snack jar.
The bathroom trap actually did happen but it was just Dr Gordon and Adam accidentally getting stuck in the boys bathroom. They also had an elaborate pretend wedding with Ring Pops and made John officiate the wedding. Actually the whole class makes John officiate all the pretend weddings and John takes them as seriously as a funeral.
Uhhhhhh I'm also adding vacuum flytrap to this bc no one can stop me. Little saw x janitor often cleans up after the other kids not because he likes it but because it's easy to steal things that way. Michael one day spots him sneaking snacks out of the jar and rats him out to John. They both had to do the tests only because Michael's snitching almost got a few kids expelled for no reason. They become very close friends and eventually become pretend husbands.
Also the plot of saw x is Cecelia and her gang doing "brain surgery" on John with toy knives and play doh and "scam" him out of his "money" so he and Amanda team up to "test" the little guys. Mateo still does "brain surgery" on himself.
Billy is more respected by the kids than John is at some points. He's just Billy, nothing changed. Except he has shrines in the bathrooms where kids leave cool rocks and flowers.

The Doors of 29 Neibolt St.
I found an old illustration of mine! This is one of the most detailed pieces I've ever made, and it holds a special place in my heart to this day. Inspired by one of my favorite horror movies!

I just saw the new puss in boots -movie and let me tell you it was the best movie I've seen in a while. The characters, the story, the visuals... all were done so well. Universal and dreamworks really put their whole pussy into that movie
