I know this is from a while ago, but since it's still getting reblogs I might as well compile and respond to some of my favorite suggestions in the notes!
@sunderwight
#I love this so much #probably a contributing factor that my mom watches a ton of murder she wrote #i hadn't heard that version of the 'wtf is up with jessica fletcher' theories but i like it!!! #sort of like the 'death is in love with jessica fletcher' one but with more psychic powers #luo binghe visiting people in dreams to get all of sqq's skeevy backstory npcs to murder one another #maybe he's still part demon in that universe??? #airplane was originally gonna write a supernatural murder mystery series but the cozy market was bigger so he just kind of #didn't incorporate those notes explicitly into canon #but surprise turns out they're still part of the world-building! #also I would absolutely help sy hide a body especially qiu jianluo's so yeah that tracks
Binghe still having dream powers in this AU is excellent!
To make it fit in more with common murder mystery tropes, I'm thinking Airplane had a tendency to write himself into corners and couldn't always figure out a good reason for Luo Binghe look for some bit of evidence or another. To Shen Yuan's absolute disgust, Airplane "solved" this problem by giving Binghe super convenient clairvoyant/postcognitive dreams.
Maybe Airplane actually did have some notes with ideas for why Binghe had these dreams (like Su Xiyan being involved in experiments designed to create psychics and/or Tianlang-jun's family supposedly having some demon-related past), but he ended up scrapping all that when readers didn't seem interested.
With the introduction of psychic powers into the worldbuilding, of course Binghe could learn to use them for his own purposes... like making all the skeevy NPCs from Shen Qingqiu's tragic backstory murder each other.
@stu-pidity
Okay consider combining the two where SY transmigrates after the murder, ‘gets away’ with it, and then gets framed for a *different* murder (courtesy of the system)
@wisteria-rainfall
#sqq ends up with conan edogawa type luck and just keeps fucking stumbling across corpses and elaborate murder scemes #time and time again he is also chosen as the unlucky sucker to pin the murder on #not crimes of passion these are deaths that were premeditated years ago taking advantage of SJs reputation to frame sqq #I think it would be funny to have a mix of bad luck and schemes which all overshadow the real murder he did #tho I think it does clash with cover up opportunities
Combining Shen Qingqiu getting away with a real murder, with him being framed for a bunch of other murders, is a delightful idea!
After the events of scenario two, Shen Yuan is relieved his role in the plot is finally over. Then he learns that since he's not in jail, all the murders that happened later in the series are being pinned on him now! There is no escaping the System's wrath.
Shen Yuan sometimes wishes he had been imprisoned for his "crime" after all, since at least his life would be more peaceful. Being able to see his favorite detective, Luo Binghe, in action makes it all worthwhile though!
@freekislydumb
#ok look #hear me out #first version #it gets to the point where sqq has been accused and then cleared of murder so many times #that if he were to actually commit murder #he wouldn't even have to try to hide anything #because no matter how much the evidence pointed at him #literally no one would believe he'd actually done it #he could walk into a crowded room covered in blood still holding the murder weapon #and people would be so used to him seeming suspicious but actually being innocent they'd immediately start looking in every other direction
Oh no!
This has me imagining a scenario where, in response to Shen Yuan refusing to kill anyone, the System not only made him the designated red herring, it also decided to make it so he gets attacked constantly. Sure Shen Yuan says he won't kill anyone, but surely the stress of constant attacks, and being blamed for the eventual murder of all his attackers no matter what he does, will wear him down enough to actually kill someone eventually (if only in self defense)!
Of course, as you say, even if he did kill someone, nobody would actually believe it. He shows up to a party traumatized and bloody saying, "I think I killed someone!" and everyone is just, "Oh you poor dear. Don't worry, we'll find the real culprit!"
@mikkeneko
bonus to the second scenario where it's revealed, after all is said and done, through an bizarre series of events Shen Qingqiu isn't the murderer, it was an extremely convoluted suicide
It genuinely not being Shen Qingqiu's fault would make for a funny conclusion. It also reminds me of another outcome I had considered!
Toward the end of the story in scenario two, Luo Binghe's goes through the results of his investigation, explaining all the other possibilities (suicide, an accident, a different murderer, etc.). His explanations prove so convincing that even Shen Yuan begins to believe he could be mistaken about Shen Qingqiu's guilt (after all, it's not like he remembers anything).
Unfortunately, the moment Shen Yuan begins to feel relived that he may not be in the body of a murderer after all... the System chimes in with, "Congratulations! Congratulations! Congratulations! You got away with murder!".
I listen to a lot of audiobook murder mysteries, which has me thinking:
Shen Yuan transmigrating into a murder mystery… as the killer!
There are a couple of ways the story could go.
First Option: Shen Yuan lets his System know, in no uncertain terms, he will not be murdering anyone.
Its response: [Alternate Plotline Initiated. New Assignment: Designated Red Herring].
Poor Shen Qingqiu finds himself stuck in a whole murder mystery series, and any time anyone is murdered, he somehow ends up being the number one suspect!
The victim? Probably picked a fight with Shen Qingqiu at some point. (Shen Qingqiu tries to avoid such arguments, but it never seems to work!)
The murder weapon? Yeah, Shen Qingqiu is almost guaranteed to have touched it at some point. (Shen Qingqiu is severely tempted to start wearing gloves 24/7.)
The body? Either Shen Qingqiu finds it himself at some inopportune time, and/or it was stashed somewhere “only” he is supposed to have access to. (At some point it's just: Shen Qingqiu opens a door… sees a body… closes the door. “Time to call the cops, yet again.”)
Shen Qingqiu ends up a tad paranoid about the whole thing, setting up cameras outside his house, in his office, in his car, etc. just to (hopefully) stop people from planting evidence any of those places.
If anyone asks about the truly absurd number of (eventually dropped) murder allegations, Shen Qingqiu insists he's cursed. Even with genre blinders on (making the number of convoluted murders in the area seem normal somehow), it's hard for anyone to argue the point.
For Shen Qingqiu's day job (when he's not busy being charged with murder) he works as a professor at a university with a highly regarded Criminology & Criminal Justice program. I'm thinking the original goods was a literature professor, with a strong distaste for cops, who was known for grading anyone in the criminal justice program exceedingly harshly. Naturally one of his students is the protagonist, Luo Binghe.
After his transmigration, professor Shen Qingqiu suddenly becomes a very kind and doting professor with a real passion for literature. This leaves Luo Binghe quickly smitten and makes him a very motivated amateur detective, since he's determined to prove his beloved's innocence as quickly as possible and as often as needed!
Second Option: Shen Yuan takes over after the original goods already committed the murder.
He wakes up with a splitting headache (the victim attempted to defend themselves presumably), looks at his bloody hands… looks at the victim… looks at the weapon… looks at his bloody hands again. “Damn it, Airplane.”
He decides he doesn't want to try and hide a body actually, just to be caught by the protagonist later and charged with a whole slew of things in addition to murder, so he calls the cops himself. He might as well take advantage of the fact he has a concussion and literally doesn't remember a thing. Maybe he can get the charges reduced somewhat and get a lighter sentence.
Of course the first cop that arrives at the scene is Yue Qingyuan, who as the #1 Xiao-Jiu stan gives Shen Qingqiu way too much benefit of the doubt. The most obvious evidence also keeps being erased or damaged by weird as hell coincidences.
Shen Qingqiu knows he certainly isn't responsible for damaging evidence and wonders if the System is working overtime behind the scenes to ensure there actually is a mystery for Luo Binghe to solve. (After all, it wouldn't be much of a story if Shen Qingqiu was already charged and sentenced before Luo Binghe had a chance to even do anything.)
To his complete bewilderment, after a few days leave to recover from the concussion, Shen Qingqiu is actually allowed to return to his university teaching job. He decides to make the best of it, since who knows how long he'll be a free man.
As in the first scenario, a few months later and Luo Binghe is absolutely smitten, not to mention all the other students and faculty that have come to adore him.
As Shen Qingqiu has successfully endeared himself to pretty much anyone and everyone local that could actually charge him or provide eyewitness testimony, not to mention all shady shit about murder victim Qiu Jianluo the ongoing investigation keep digging up, the plot stalls for a bit until the state police (aka Huan Hua Palace) are finally called in by Qiu Haitang.
Unfortunately for the ‘HHP’ folks, the protagonist himself is on Shen Qingqiu's side, and Luo Binghe is perfectly happy to muddy the waters by conveniently “losing” evidence, sending them after every single red herring he comes across, and “accidentally” digging up dirt on all the shady dealings going on in their department.
The System keeps trying to motivate Shen Qingqiu to hide evidence, lie, or do literally anything suspicious to progress the plot further, but all its punishment protocols involve sabotaging Shen Qingqiu's coverup attempts (of which he has none) or revealing information to the protagonist (who is complicit by this point) so it's fresh out of luck.
Eventually the System gives up and Shen Qingqiu is congratulated for “getting away with murder!” despite the fact he didn't actually do anything.
“Seriously? Does it even count as getting away with murder when the original goods was the actual murderer? I didn't kill anyone!”

How other great detectives would solve the “Kira” murders
Requested by @libraryoftheancients . A series I do sometimes. Since the whole premise of Death Note rests on Light knowing a victim’s name and face, each of these detectives is going to have to either find a way to deal with that or else not ping Light as a threat until it’s too late.
Sam Vimes: Vimes makes a broadcast on whatever magical version of tv there is in the Discworld, saying :”Attention, citizens of Ahnk-Morpork and/or Japan. I am Sam Vimes. No point in hiding it, since I am unfortunately a public figure. The Watch is seeking information on the murderer known as Kira from local Shinigami. If you are a shinigami and provide us what turns out to be vital information leading to their capture, we will fast-track you into a steady job on the force. Why not. Non-shinigami may also offer information, of course.” Now the story is about Light vs Ryuk scemes!
Columbo: As has been noted, Columbo does not ever reveal his first name on the show, so I think he’d be especially suspicious of this kid for wanting to know it so badly. A big question here is, how does Light read cross-culturally, not to mention cross-decades? The reason this is important is because a lot depends on whether Columbo’s first impression of him is as a nice kid or as a preppy monster. I will tip the scales towards Columbo’s favor at the end, if only because Light is exactly the kind of guy he can bait into questions of “Hypothetically, why do you think the killer would have done this?”
Dale Cooper: No time for crime solving, I have too many questions. Are shinigami part of the Black Lodge? The White Lodge? Has Ryuk visited Dale Cooper in his sleep to give him cryptic messages? Did Light kill Laura Palmer as absurdly over-punishment for dealing cocaine and maybe running over that one guy from Fire Walk With Me? Will the Black Lodge let Light kill Cooper before his time? Will Ryuk refuse to kill Cooper because he has a greater destiny? After all their mutual scheming, will Cooper just catch him because Laura finally gets sick of waiting and whispers the answer to him? Is Laura now a shinigami? Is Misa going to fixate on Cooper and then be correctly told that what she really needs is a friend? If Light does kill Cooper, will a random adolescent prodigy from Blue Rose with prematurely white hair solve it for him?
Philip Marlowe: Marlowe appreciates a rambling plot. He has lots of rambling plots, strung together from short story installments that don’t really work as a coherent whole. He may be suspicious at first of Misa since he has so many female villains and she would strike him as a very unhinged show biz type, but it’s possible that they have a drunken confrontation where he sees how wounded she is, and whatever else she may be, she’s not an evil mastermind. He doesn’t have a good relationship with police, so he won’t be too charmed by dutiful cop’s son Light. He’ll think back to the Duchess of Malfi, and think of how a murderer trying to enforce justice on other murderers is always doomed to failure. Light could kill him if he wanted to, so Marlowe’s best chance is if Light decides it’s better to keep him around, distracting everybody. Maybe Marlowe comes to his conclusion by wondering why, the longer the investigation went on without finding anything, the higher Light grows as an investigator.
Miss Marple: She’s definitely going to fall beneath his notice! Just an old woman with old-fashioned sensibilities. The cops like and indulge her, and they just naturally tell her everything while eating her home baked scones. She reads newspapers and circles the date any particular arrests were reported relative to the time the criminals dies. I don’t know that she would ever really believe Light had supernatural power, though she might come up with theories about undetectable poison. I think she would figure out it was probably Light, but she wouldn’t accuse him until she could solve that one unsolvable problem. I don’t know if she’d catch him, but it’s possible she could influence the papers or police departments to change the way they dealt with accused criminals and ruin Light’s day.
Hercule Poirot: Look, Poirot already went through this business during The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. Any new non-Hastings guy who shows up to be his new crime-solving buddy is guilty.
Sam Spade: I think this may be seriously above his paygrade, but I kind of want him to win here so he could give him some closing insult to the extent of “Aww, you look so sad that I’m not really a criminal!” If Humphrey Bogart is playing him here so he can repeat his brilliant alleged ad-lib, he can say that the Death Note is such stuff as dreams are made on.
Phryne Fisher: Light would definitely think of her as a dimwit and a potential pawn. She would think of him as a young man without a shred of fun in his entire soul. I don’t think either of them would succeed in seducing the other. He would definitely try and get her to catch the wrong person and distract everyone and get humiliated, but Phryne (who is hinted in the show to have been a former agent in the war, unless I imagined that) would figure out those supposed Kiras were getting orders from someone else, even if they themselves wouldn’t know who. Assuming she can keep Light thinking she’s a useful distraction for long enough to catch him in a tangle of lies, she might win. Otherwise she dies.
Kinsey Milhone: I can see her and Light getting kind of genuinely friendly, at least for a while. They have similarly strong beliefs about morality, and she has a lot of compassion for teenagers, but I think ultimately she will have to realize that his version of friendship and morality are both extremely surface level. She’s a former insurance investigator, her whole job was catching fakers. I like the idea of her finding out about shinigami, because that would result in a fun inner monologue about the meaning of existence. If she’s another detective he would think he could use to distract everyone rather than just kill, she might be willing to believe in a Death Note and catch him. She would reflect afterwards that death will get all of us someday, but that doesn’t mean we have to make it easy for them.
Sam and Peter: “On this season of Japanese Vandal, we’ve somehow gotten roped into solving actual murders. This is all because of Light Yagami, who had recently graduated. Here’s footage of him wandering the school ground and talking to someone who is not there but appears to be very tall. He’s a cop’s son, so he’s allowed to do that.”

On the ‘masterminds’.
I mentioned this over in a Reddit thread, but I figured hey, why not, I’ll stick it over here too. For filing purposes.
A lot is made of Fyodor and Dazai being ‘alike’. In intelligence, I’d say they are - they’re both brilliant, and both somewhat isolated as a result of that brilliance. But when it comes to scheming, they’re very different people.
Fyodor is a spider. Fyodor loves to spin webs within webs, traps within traps. Fyodor’s ideal setup is one where even if you get past the first trap, you must fall into the second. And even if you beat that too, you must fall into the third. And fourth. And so on, until one of them gets you.
When you hear Fyodor talking about people being ‘predictable’, and outcomes being ‘predictable’...don’t think of this as Fyodor running all the scenarios and figuring out Just Which One will happen. Think, instead, of a scientist in a lab, and a maze he’s constructed with traps and rewards scattered along it, and various little shitty things on every corridor to screw with perception. When Fyodor says your actions are ‘predictable’, what he means is you’re a mouse in his maze. You’re predictable because he’s controlling what you see, what you hear, what you know.
Fyodor manipulates by controlling ‘the rules’, as Ranpo put it. And he’s nigh unbeatable if he can railroad you enough so that you HAVE to follow them. But if you can get outside his ‘rules’, or break through all of the traps he’s set up (which WILL take a while, as he loves to nest them), he isn’t good at plotting on the fly. Change the rules quickly enough, and you can put him in a scenario he can’t scheme his way out of.
In discworld terms - Fyodor is a wizard. His magic is built around changing the world.
In gaming terms, Fyodor is a dungeon master whose traps are a dungeon you have to get to the bottom of. Fyodor’s defined the corridors, the monsters, and the traps in advance. If you manage to get through them, he doesn’t have a second dungeon lying around...but he’s very, very good at making you go where he wants in the dungeon he’s laid out.
Dazai is a crow or raven. Dazai almost never sets out to fuck someone’s shit up. That’s too much work. He’s not a big fan of work. Rather, Dazai scemes through knowledge of the gears that motivate people, the gears of human interaction. Dazai focuses not on the board, but on the pieces and how they move - and whether they can change to move some other way.
When you hear Dazai say that a situation is ‘predictable’, or an outcome is ‘predictable’, you should imagine a professional pool player. Someone who can send that cue ball with just the right spin and speed to break the table any way he wants, who can picture the way each and every ball on the table will roll.
Where Fyodor uses his great intelligence to set up web after web, Dazai uses his own to store massive files about every person he’s ever met. He knows what makes them happy, what makes them sad. What would be a nice surprise, and what would send them storming off in a rage.  Sometimes, corvid-like, he plays tricks on people just to see how they’ll react, and that becomes part of the ongoing file.
When Dazai manipulates, it’s all down to people. It’s about putting the right person in the right place at the right time to get the outcome he wants. This makes him far better able to react on the fly than Fyodor, but the downside is ...well. People are not billiard balls. People are much more complex than billiard balls. And if there’s something about one of the people Dazai needs to ‘move’ that he doesn’t know? That missing knowledge will result in a cascading miscalculation. Shit will go wrong.
In discworld terms, Dazai is a witch; his magic isn’t about changing the world. It’s about changing the minds of the people in it.
In gaming terms, Dazai would be the guy who picks up the contract to plumb the dungeon, and then goes all Ocean’s Eleven picking exactly the right party to get through all the death traps.

Who the boys tell their secrets to (Little Brother Edition):
Tumblr media
Satan
He does alot of things that he'd prefer be kept quiet. And most of them he keeps to himself. He's used to his own company anyway since he spends so much time reading, and that's a solitary passtime, so he doesn't need to talk about things too much. But, even he gets the urge to share things. Somethings are to big to be kept to himself.
In those instances, he shares his secrets with Belphie. He and Belphie already share a ton of secrets anyway since theyre always sceming to annoy lucifer. And if half of their plot were uncovered they'd both be in big trouble, so he knows he can confide in him without worrying that he'll tell. Plus, Belphie is constantly sleepy, so whereas Asmo isn't listening so doesn't remember Mammons secrets. Belphie is listening but then immediately falls asleep so forgets he even heard them.
Tumblr media
He also shares with Solomon. They already have a private chat where they talk about cats, and they meet up frequently enough. So if he has secrets he doesn't want his brothers to know, or if he just needs a friend to vent to Solomon is the one he does it with. They've become close enough that they can share almost anything.
Tumblr media
Asmo
Is a pretty open person but even he does have plenty of secrets. And for many of them he would prefer they never see the light of day. He would be absolutely horrified if anyone found out things about him he didn't specifically want them to know. So for his secrets he actually has multiple people he confides in for his secrets, with varying levels of importance  or content.
The 1st is of course Solomon. Solomon is his best friend (and in my HC his bf but you do you) so he'll tell him alot, knowing Solomon isn't one to gossip or spread things around on a whim. His secrets are safe with him.
Tumblr media
The 2nd is Mammon, when the secret is ABOUT Solomon, or any kind of dating advice he goes to Mammon. Not because that Tsundere knows anything about that, but because He genuinely want's to help and always trys so hard to help Asmo figure any problem out. Also any party or late night nonsense is shared secrets they keep for each other.
The 3rd is Lucifer, if the secret is to personal/embarrassing to ask or talk to with Solomon, and he dare not tell Mammon because he'd kill his brother if he tried to sell the secret or tell anyone to tease him, he'll talk to Lucifer.
Tumblr media
Beel
He always seems like the quiet and carefree type. He's the happy brother and never seems to be getting into trouble like Mammon or plotting like Satan and Belphie, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have secrets of his own. There are some things that he doesn't want everyone to know about.
So unsurprisingly he shares alot of his secrets with Belphie. It's a twin thing. They just have a bond that's closer than the others. And beel knows he can trust Belphie with his secrets. Knows he'd never tell another soul.
Tumblr media
But he also has another he confides in. Luke. They spend alot of time together in the kitchen so they end up talking. Everything he talks about with him is age appropriate of course, (the big stuff he saves for Belphie) but it makes Luke feel so special to know Beel confides in him.
Tumblr media
Belphie
He is a man of many secrets. He's always scheming on Lucifer and working on pranks that he won't want anyone finding out about. He also knows things that other people probably wouldn't want him knowing. Yes he sleeps ALOT. But sometimes he's not sleeping. Just dozing, and people talk around him and he learns some interesting tid bits.
So of course Beel is the 1st person he'll tell. That's his twin afterall and he knows Beel is the one he can trust the most in the world because he's always had his back. He'd never want to leave him out because if Beel found out it might make him sad, Belphie won't have that.
Tumblr media
But when he has mean secrets, or rumors that are just not nice, he shares those with Satan. Satan is just as much of a jerk as him and will keep them quiet while appreciating the harshness of them. They spend alot of time together pulling pranks so theyve learned how to confide in each other.

lets talk about donald and the boys
so the triplets very obviously and very purposefully take different things from their parental figures, namely Donald, Scrooge and Della. (Webby does as well, but it’s a bit different cus she grew up in a diffrent enviroment/has mrs beakly so i’d rather do a sperate post for her)
anyway, when it comes to the boys they’re a mix of diffrent aspects of their parental figures + new stuff thats just them. and i think that’s really great how the crew made them such multi dimensional characters like that!
but, when it comes to donald at least these similarites between him and the boys aren’t quite so explicit like it is when it comes to scrooge and della. which makes sense, theres alot of missed time w/ both of them and they’re learning about eachother and noticing these things for the first time. plus the things donald passed down are the most subtle, i think bc he’s the one who raised them
so i kinda wanted to call attention to the similarities between don and the boys!! i might do one w/ the similaraties between the triplets and the others asp, we’ll see lol
so! lets begin.:)
huey:
- i think the similarities between him and don are kinda the most obvious, but lets go through them anyway
- obvi the parental/careing nature
- and the anger :P
- that expression in rumble for Ragnarok
- they both wear hats and i think thats cute
- i feel like theres not too much to say which kinda sucks!! bc i love their relationship!! and like they’re getting a whole ass season for the two of them (like how we had dewey + scrooge and louie + della) im just. idk theres not too much to say that hasn’t been noticed but i love their relationship
dewey:
- a bit opposite to huey, i think their relationship is kinda the most looked over one
- which sucks!! pls frank give us don/dewey bonding plsss
- anyway
- for one, smthn that i was ECSTATIC to see in ‘rumble for ragnorock’ was dewey’s determination being put to the test. i don’t know how to gif but y’all how have you not done a parallel of that to don in house of the lucky gander??? dewey’s always been super determined (see his determination to adventure in the first few eps, determination to find out about della, etc) and that 100% comes from his dad/uncle!!!
- i think the main reason ^^ that particular similarity is overlooked is bc dewey and don use their determanation in very diffrent ways. dewey more for adventure, and don more to keep everyone safe.
(ik that della is also super determined and it could come from that, but i like to think it comes from both of them! don and della are very similar and alot of their influence overlaps. like, the adventuring spirit is smthn usually atributed only as a dewy-della thing (or a della/scrooge w/ the kids thing) but i think that comes a  little from don too!! he used to love adventuring b4 della was lost. sure he was more cautious, but he loved it just as much as they did!!)
- sorry for the tangent!! next thing!
- both have an affinity for the color blue and water :). on a related note, the way they were so happy making mermaid tails together gives me life
- both feel the need to prove themselves!!! this is a huge one!! and idk how noone has called it out sooner??
- don has shown alot that he feels insecure with who he is and worries about not being enough for the people around him. see: house of the lucky gander, town where everyone was nice, and just the whole thing w/ his voice
- dewey is alot the same! super desperate to prove himself and be liked (see: everything,,,, but specifically: Atlantis/first ep, his dream in nightmare on killmonter hill, literally all of the new ep, the seed vault, so much other stuff omg, etc)
- anyway i really hope these 2 get a bonding ep and get to work through this together. it’s a flaw they both have and i hope they can help eachother with it!! especially bc i think it’s a thing others may not be able to help them w/ bc they need someone who really Gets it u know?
- pls just let these bois be confident they deserve it
louie:
- baby boi
- ok, first one i feel like may be kinda controversial but lets go anyway
- i think that their biggest similarity is their shared emotional maturity
- and yeah ik huey is mature but he’s not mature in the same way that louie and donald are
- like.... u know at the end of shadow war how don gets the boys to decide to go back? and how louie is just.... so often the one to build up the others in his fam/give them a pep talk? i really think that comes from donald
- also- they’re both the only ones to actually scheme lol. donald kinda accidentally (he tries not to encorage louie’s sceming even if he kinda does the same thing at times) like w/ how he lies to the caballeros and how he tricks the kids into showing up during shadow war
- also they share how they’re both more cautious and a bit more scared even if they come along anyway
- also also just about the only characters besides scrooge who care about money. ik it’s because don is broke and the other two don’t really care but idk... i think the fact that they grew up relitivly poor and don is struggling w/ money in like half of his plots makes the similarity mean a bit more
- willingness to sacrifice for fam- see harp be gone for louie doing this, and just... everything for don. they both value fam over everything even what’s important to them, which is true for about every character but they don’t seem to get tested as much on it as the two of them
All three:
-just wanted to add some random small details that all three have that are similar to don :)
- first- love of fam/willing to do anything for them. kinda already mentioned it w/ louie, and again it’s smthn shared by most characters but i wanted to mention it again :)
- their cynicism!! The boys all have their cynical moments and i think it’s cute they’re influenced by don’s more dry humor
- and this last one isn’t really a similarity but I just wanted to point out how in tune they are w/ don and eachother bc it makes me super happy :)
- there’s probably more but I’m out of energy sry y’all. Feel free to add ur own tho I’d love to hear what y’all noticed!!!

Drew “Dr Drakken” Lipsky || Kim Possible || Jared Leto || 40 || Open
“I’m not a monster, I’m just ahead of the curve.”
Once Upon a Time…
Drew was always the kid with the chemistry kit trying new experiments. So many times he would try something and it would blow up in his face. He has a scar on his face from the time a beaker broke from an explosion. He was the bratty child that never understood why he couldn’t get everything he wanted if it was as easy as taking candy from a baby.
Tomorrowland
Drakken knew that with all these super heroes hanging around Tomorrowland there must be some sort of invention that is worth him stealing. Though now that he has to take care of his cousin Eddie Lipsky it’s made things even more annoying than with his sidekick Shego who can’t wait to him ‘I told you so’ whenever his scemes go awry. Though whenever he needs something stolen he can trust her to get into combat for him. With that he continues to plot his next idea, and he’s looking at something Syndrome might have invented.
What’s inside his heart
Drakken is the guy rumored to have an IQ above 140, but is contradicted by his ability to take things a little too literally about 90% of the time. With that 10%, he’s a temperamental brat, throwing obnoxious temper tantrums” whenever his schemes don’t exactly go his way, much to the chagrin of Shego. However, in front of his maniacal temper and evil schemes is an alluring charisma that draws in only the curious of people.
