You're just as disgusting as TDM and as those rewrite creators harassing Bright users. I understand how tiring can it be seeing people deleting and replacing your favourite character, because he's my favourite too

Honestly I think some of these rewrite creators don’t realize how much damage their doing most of the time, they’ll complain about Bright users encouraging harassment when the worst thing most Bright fans have said about them is that they feel rewrites are unnecessary. Meanwhile you have some rewrite creators absolutely demonizing all Bright users including saying they’re purposefully disrespecting victims, morally failing the fandom, and promoting a groomer. It doesn’t really matter if these rewrite creators truly believe all that or not but regardless they shouldn’t be sharing those thoughts publicly because whether or not they realize it they are strongly encouraging people and making them feel justified in harassing and talking down to people who continue to use Bright, it doesn’t matter if they put a big Do Not Harass these people in their post the damage has already been done. While I could go on and on about how all their points are simply wrong that’s not what this post is about but I need these rewrite creators to know how much their inadvertently hurting other members in the fandom.

Doctor Alto Clef Is Probably Not White

Dear SCP Foundation fandom, Doctor Alto Clef is unlikely to be white, or at least in the main canon and with his original author. The whole Francis backstory is frankly incredibly out of character and feels like a different character that his name was tacked onto for relevance and as a plot twist thing. Francis is generally incredibly well written, but Not At All The Same Guy.

In the main canon, IE the Clef-Kondraki incident, he is heavily implied to be THE BIBLICAL ADAM, in his interactions with the SCP who is clearly the Biblical Eve. She is canonically Middle Eastern, as are many Biblical figures both in the Bible itself and in the SCP canon. Clef converses with Eve in a language akin to Ancient Sumerian, fluently, and as if it is his first and most natural language. He also references Eden in other canon documents by the core Clef author.

PLEASE can we have more art of him as middle eastern! (You could make him lighter skinned going off of the one canon photo, you know, the one with the big ole rifle and his lovely DILF-esque tummy?) He's described as big-nosed and that's a feature that needs so much more love!!!

Often, in heterochromia, as he has, the brown or in his case "hazel" eye is the normal eye, with the blue one being the genetically mutated trait due to whatever condition causes said heterochromia, not to mention his condition likely being more anomalous than the usual genetic causes of heterochromia.

In terms of narrative symbolism, it makes the most sense for his third eye or aberrant secondary iris to be the green one, considering the color green being used in reference to reality benders and general symbolism in Western media as unnatural (when vivid), as magical and potentially villainous, and as ominous. (Think: Maleficent, Bruno Madrigal...etc)

Also! He is canonically fat and I am so so so sick of people erasing that about him. There is no excuse for that sort of erasure or for the 'inability' to draw larger bodies. His race is not explicitly stated in canon and is open to interpretation, however, due to his nature as heavily implied to be a pre-Christian biblical figure (Adam), I think it is most logical (as well as personally enjoyable for myself) to see him as Middle-Eastern Jewish (as opposed to Ashkenazic or Goy). He could easily be interpreted as North African, Middle Eastern, or even Central Asian, West Indian or Indo-Aryan, or an Ethiopian Jew.

Ok so this post was meant to be for a specific bright fan (so im not trying to call out all bright fans or all bright fictives/systems) , but since they have me blocked me since its upload and since they have made it clear that they don't actually care about the victims of bright, I'm making this post anyway.

So, one bright fan on here has decided to make a callout post not only villainizing DJKaktus, but also @daisybellejpeg, you know just the person that is helping make shaw who is a VICTIM OF ADMINBRIGHT S*XUAL AB*SE AND HAS BEEN TRUAMATIZED BY HIS CREATIONS. They claim that Daisybelle is anti-DID/systems and also trying commit Jewish eraser. So since I am very pissed off at the moment, I'm just wanted clear up stuff about that this and leave a little note to people like this fan (also sorry daisy if I put any words in your mouth or act "white knightly", I just feel some else saying something show that their isn't personal bias) :

So for starters, DAISYBELLE IS NOT ANTI-DID/SYSTEMS. They have mentioned multiple times that they acknowledge that they bright systems/fictives are a special situation.

Plus, Daisy in general is always going to be slightly antagonistic towards bright, them being a direct victim of Adminbright, but so far Daisy (imo) has done a good job being clam about handling people who still hold on to bright (at least better than I have). The only thing they have stated that will not tolerate is people giving shit to them about how they create shaw, as its become a healing tool for them.

Now the Bright fan that made that post had decided to include two screenshots "proving" that Daisy is anti-DID/system and a Jewish yet completely left out context points.

For the first one, they completely left out the beginning part of conversations and completely doesn't point how the person daisy is responding to has no idea what they are talking about and the fact that person ten starts to act in a sort a jerkish explaining after daisy saying the initial description.

This, to me, feels very patronizing thing to say especially, and so no surprise Daisy proceeds to go off on them about being patronized. For some reason, though, bright fan tried to twist this into daisy erasing the Jewish rep. This, however, is not only not what they said, as all Daisy said was "you deadass don’t know this since we haven’t even decided on a race", (although I should mention daisy is pushing for shaw to be Mexican American), but even if Shaw isn't Jewish, its probably because they don't want any more connections to bright outside of the number, not because they want erase Jewish people.

As for the second screenshots, while I will admit that daisy was a bit harsh to the user (as they were system stating people to stop using bright and they did make a joke about the way worded on twitter), Daisy, as mentioned before sees Shaw a healing device and people telling others to stop using it doesn't really do anything change. Plus Daisy ends up explaining their point of view in the comments.

Now their is technically one more set of screenshots that try to prove that Daisy does not understand how DID works, but as I mentioned in the beginning, they have said they aren't a expert on DID and that it is a complex situation. At most they have urged people they use the interfaces on sites block tags that causes problems.

That is about all for me laying out the facts, however one more note for the bright fan that made that callout post and for people like the bright fan: can you fucking not villainize the victims of the Duckman. Like, its one thing to go after Kaktus, but its whole another to go after a victim of Bright, one that has a entire fucking document showing the trauma they endured and still haven't fully healed from it, thus clearly having a continued negative stigmatism. Not only does this make you all look like complete dickheads completely inconsiderate about the victims of adminbright, but also paints of bright fans and system/fictives in a negative light along with you. You could of block the shaw tag. You could have used the interface to ignore all the people that cause your mental state problems. Hell, you could of found or make a character that served as a transition from bright, like Dr. Myriad. But instead you decided to attack a already hurt person and doubling down on usage of the character.

Also, P.S., if that origional poster isn't a fictive/system and was simply using other peoples mental disorders as a way to villainize Daisy, then they can go fuck themselves.

I think I’m gonna have to recommend all of scpblr turn off anon asks, it seems we possibly have another problematic anon(s) harassing other users, primarily rewrite creators and supporters. This anon doesn’t seem to be the same one that was harassing rewrite creators a few weeks ago but we can’t confirm so for now turning off anon asks is probably the safest option.

And once again I have to remind everyone to not send harassment or hate to anyone regardless of if they use Bright, Shaw, or a rewrite.

((Because of recent situations (and past ones) I'm making another ooc post. Even though I have put my twist on the character this account uses Bright and no other character. I'm not an idiot and I can tell when someone interacting with this account are being intentionally vague about the name. If you aren't comfortable using the character you don't have to interact with this account. But reblogging my shit in a vague way is misleading and not only wrong because it makes you pushy asshole it also makes this account look like something it's not. Which is misleading to anyone who may want to follow or block me. It's disrespectful to me and people that wish to avoid the character.

If you follow this account hoping I'm eventually going to make a rewrite block me now and leave me alone because I will sooner leave this fandom. I know a lot of people have used bright tags to get popular before making a rewrite which is frankly really gross and hypocritical. Before I continue, I'm making this fully clear. Fictives of Shaw are okay to interact my blog. I don't blame you for being anxious, but I understand you can't control your source, and that's understandable.

In my last post that this is a continuation of, I forgot to put the evidence of daisybellejpeg saying these type of shit on other places along with the other claims listen, so I will post them here.

I also forgot to include that there is also erasure of the Jewish parts of the Bright family while making Shaw, making him and his family Hispanic. It really just rubs me the wrong way to replace a marginalized group with another one, but that is just my personal opinion.

This thread of evidence is mostly in regard to Daisy, as you can find other allegations against DJK in things I have reblogged in the past. Mostly everyone else is censored to prevent harassment.

In regards to someone's plagiarism concerns with Shaw being the same name as a copyrighted character, then their response to someone being concerned about the rewrite of Bright to Shaw would erase the character being Jewish.

Response to a person with DID being triggered by Shaw, and then proceeding to make fun of said person on Twitter.

Daisy acting like introjects can control their source which shows a lack of understanding that should be there when you have friends with DiD.

Making 963 interpretations is one thing, but talking shit of people who use Bright and don't support AB is just fucking disrespectful. Same for people raising concerns of your interpretation and responding in a distasteful manner. You just don't fucking do that. You don't be disrespectful to people for thing you can't control.
