Yesterday (Monday) after finishing day 1 of week 4 of the #4weekstofittransformation and doing my #reformerpilates class I sat down in the cafe at @davidlloyd.belfast before getting lunch to read a book by @norarobertsauthor on my @kobobooks e-reader. It was lovely to just sit and relax to read a good book. This is the second book of a 4 book series that I have read before. Happy Monday! Not gonna lie guys....I'm glad it's still kind of wintry LOL. This happens every year - I'm never ready to put away my winter wardrobe because I love cold weather! Happy #SockSunday! It's pouring rain outside my window so I am grateful I took photos the other day while the sun was sitting on its perch in the sky. I recently read #SixOfCrows by #LeighBardugo and wanted to continue on my adventure with Dirty Hands but didn't have the second book. Now that I do (yay!) I wanted to take a photo of them together because they are too pretty not to. I don't know who designed these books but the publisher should never let them go because they are two stunning pieces of artwork. 😍 On a photography note: My sister (while scrolling through my feed last night) told me I didn't always give her the credit she deserves. If you didn't know she often helps with my photos and, because I couldn't have taken this one (without a doubt) without her, I wanted to shout her out for being the best foot (or feet I guess 😂) model that ever lived. I was tagged by @chloebetweenwords to do the #secondbookinaseries tag and I feel like After You by JoJo Moyes counts. It seems like everyone has read Me Before You but no one has even heard of the sequel, After You. Have you read it? • It takes place a few years after Me Before You and is essentially Louisa's story of finally dealing with what happened and continuing on with her life. But let me tell you, it takes a while and there are many bumps and it just felt true and real to the heart of the first book.
