Sekimoto hadn't thought there'd be a moment where he'd see his friend in a different light.

Takeshi was always the jokester, never one to be serious at all. That was how it was usually.

So what made it so different this time?

He sighed.

Looking at the ceiling, he closed his eyes.

"It'll be okay, Masahiro." That was a problem for the future Sekimoto, not the current one. After all, nothing will change. Or so he had thought.

Hey everyone! I’m back from Japan. What a trip! Not expecting to hear those words from Daisuke, Sekimoto sighed exasperatedly.

Motioning over to Takeshi, he spoke.

“Come on, let’s go it’s obvious he doesn’t want us here.”

Takeshi began to say something only to dragged off by Sekimoto

With one last look at his other friend, the teen closed the door.

“We can’t just leave him like that.”

Takeshi protested, starting to head back.

“Only for him to push us back out again?”

Sekimoto pointed out, looking quite tired

“…You know for a fact that Daisuke is hiding something. You saw the way he flinched just now.”

Stopping just before the door knob, the aspiring journalist froze.

After a moment of awkward silence, he spoke.

“And even so…it doesn’t mean we can leave him alone.”

“Even if it means making it worse?”

Of all things to expect, the last thing he expected was to see his two friends argue over chocolate of all things.

"My chocolates are better, right Daisuke?"

Saehara argued, shoving said chocolates in front of his face.

"No, mine are!" Sekimoto glared at Takeshi, now placing the chocolates in front of the redhead.

How was it that it had gotten to this point? If he had to be honest, this all started when both friends started to argue about whether milk or dark chocolate was better.

"Guys…" Daisuke began to say, only to cut off by the two of them.

"SO WHICH IS IT???"

He sighed once more.

“ew, you’re all sweaty...” feat. our boy Sekimoto?

“Ew, you’re all sweaty...” Masahiro wrinkled his nose at the stench. He wants nothing more than to run back home and play games rather than deal with this obnoxious friend of his. "It's not that bad, Sekimoto." Takeshi rolled his eyes, sweating dripping from his hair. Immediately backing away from the other, Sekimoto huffed. "Not that bad?! I can see the sweat, Takeshi! We've been out for how long??? Several hours, I tell you!"

"Oh don't be so overdramatic. You're probably just as sweaty." Takeshi said, slowly approaching him. "Come any closer and I will spray you." Holding the deodorizer spray pointed in his friend's direction, he huffed.

"Really???" Takeshi laughed nervously, looking at the bottle. Today was surely going to be a long day indeed...

“what are you guys talking about? i love this weather!” with Takeshi and whoever should suffer from both the heat and his presence? :3 He fits it well~

“What are you guys talking about? I love this weather!” Takeshi grinned, earning another groan from Sekimoto and the rest. "You love this weather???" Sweat dripped from one classmate's skin, exhaustion in his voice. "What was the point of going out today? If you wanted to go enjoy the weather ask Daisuke next time!" Sekimoto rolled his eyes. "Daisuke was busy today. Said something along the lines of his mom needing him. Have to admit it did sound off." Takeshi mused. "And I told you that today was the day that one of the new character banners were dropping in less than an hour!" Sekimoto shouted, clearly annoyed. "What? Am I not more fun to be around than a bunch of pixels?" Takeshi mock gasped. "How is spending time with you in this weather fun? I swear that one of these days, I'm never going with you anywhere ever again." The gamer huffed, feet still moving despite his words. And yet he still went along with it.

"Come on Daisuke, let's get him to the infirmary." Motioning to the other, he slowly began to help his fallen friend up. "Ugh...You're pretty heavy..." With a groan, the three slowly made their way back inside the school. "I'm going to let the nurse know, so you stay with him, alright Sekimoto?" Daisuke said, running off. Now he can finally address the elephant in the room. "Alright...What were you thinking earlier, Takeshi? You seemed distracted before???"

"Sorry, I can't show myself at the moment." Feeling suspicious of the voice, he spoke. "...What do you want?" "All I need is for you to do me a favor and I'll be out of your hair. Smile still in place, it made its way down the museum exhibits. Someone called out to the artwork, having noticed no difference between it and the tamer. "Daisuke? Why were you taking so long to come back?" Sekimoto called out, looking quite worried. "If you weren't feeling so well, you didn't have to go on today's trip." Shaking its head, "No, I just got lost looking for the bathroom, that's all."

"Who's there?" Turning around to see that no one was there, Sekimoto sighed. Perhaps, he was just imagining things. After all, the teen had just finished watching that horror movie marathon with Takeshi and Daisuke. SNAP Eyes widening at the sound, he abruptly turned around once more. "T-takeshi, is that you? This isn't funny..." Greeted with silence, Sekimoto began to pick up the pace. Not daring to take the chance to look back, he finally made his way back home. The teen shakily took out the keys, opening the door before getting inside. Unbeknownst to him, there was a pair of eyes watching his every move.
