As for me- I'm Writer, a twenty-three year old nonbinary mate (they/them) who's really just here to have fun, hang with friends, and build worlds. I identify as ficto (a subtype of the aro-ace club, yes I know how to separate fiction and reality, you're not original if you try to ask me that), and I'm a Pisces/INFJ/Metal Snake, for those who would want to inquire. I'm mostly a gamer and an anime fan, so I flip between playing games and watching television... A lot.

I've been diagnosed with Depression and Social/General Anxiety, and my friends tend to think I might have undiagnosed ADHD/BPD, but I have yet to be tested. I get overwhelmed pretty easily, and stress can make me totally shut down and go into hiding to recover. So if ever I suddenly vanish for a few days- it's nothing against you, I'm just recovering.

I claim ownership of my personal spin on each character, as well as the headcanons I've made for all the worlds present here- but not for the base idea of 'Mobius', 'Chaos Emeralds', and things generally seen in the Sonic Franchise. ⚠️

⚠️ While I do claim ownership over Arwen Conch, Cinnamon Curl (and their pet cat Milky), Fin Freja, Node Gate, and Tempest Lock, I was not the one to come up with the designs for Cinnamon Curl and Fin Freja. I adopted the designs from kandaarts (here on Tumblr, Fin) , Blayris6 (on DeviantArt, Milky) and dart22345 (also on Deviantart, Cinnamon), respectively. Arwen Conch's design was made on a whim via this picrew. ⚠️

My personal favorite Sonic games are: Sonic Unleashed, Sonic 06, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, and Sonic Riders. I also loved the Sonic X anime, though I was never particularly invested in Chris Thorndyke.

ughh, I’ve gotten what I’m officially dubbing an allercold. That moment when allergy symptoms practically mimic a cold...and I haven’t been able to do auditions since Thursday. It affected recording for FOBG too...so here’s hoping with rest, liquids, and medicine I can kick this to the curb soon! It’s odd because i haven’t experienced this since I was in Japan last...and at that point I’m sure it was because of not being adjusted to Japanese pollen...I guess this time it’s that mix of leaves and rain plus dusty heat vents...ughhh

It is cute though how Gabe meows at me whenever I cough...in almost a worried/annoyed way. Poppy will be here briefly just to pack and I have to pick up a prescription but other than that I’ll be at home alone for the next few days so at least there’s that.

Oooh, I wasn’t expecting to get Code Geass characters! This will be fun but also a bit difficult

Push off a cliff: I guess I’m going with Shirley this time, I really did like her as a character even though she could be annoying and was certainly more self-centered so I don’t need to set her on fire in a fit of rage or anything.

Kiss: Gino Weiberg, one of the only two characters you wrote out the full name of lol. It’s probably due to his interactions with Suzaku but he seems like he’d be fun to hang out with and at least kiss. I don’t know if I’d want to get too close though, poor boy probably has a lot of trauma being a Knight of the Round.

Marry: Millie, She’s super loyal and also a pretty chill person so I feel like we’d be pretty compatible overall.

Set on Fire: I always hate this choice, I guess I’m not sadistic enough lol... anyway, Lloyd just by default lol. I don’t really hate him even though he’s probably partially responsible for a lot of trauma done to Suzaku but I mean he’s doing his job? So, yeah sorry about that Lloyd...

Wrap a blanket around: This was a tossup, I was originally going to say Rivalz but then I decided I wanted to room with him so I’m going with Nunnally.

Be Roommates with: Rivalz, I mean if he can tolerate Lelouch he can tolerate me and he’s a pretty cool and generally under appreciated guy!

A Self-Promo Sunday Tag Game

I was tagged by @snowbellewells @stahlop @thisonesatellite and @profdanglaisstuff - thank you ladies! I know it isn’t Sunday anymore, but I’m going to play anyway . . . 

Rules: Just for fun this Sunday, let’s talk about our personal favorites of our own fics.

Not the ones we necessarily think are the “best.” The ones we go back and reread again and again (because if you don’t reread your own fics what are you even doing?), or the ones we wrote for something or someone special, or the ones that were most difficult to write and just make us proud when we think about them? Whatever criteria you choose, just talk a bit about the fics of yours that you really like.

I actually think I’ve done this before, but I’m playing again. I think I’ve picked different fics this time anyhow.

Just As He Always Has - This fic was so exhilarating to write because my muse had finally awakened after being silent for a while. (In her defense, she was really tired after working her butt off getting my second book out.) But I am also really proud of this fic because I was able to take a very risky idea - child marriage - and make a very sweet Lieutenant Duckling-esque fic out of it. 

Start of Time - I wrote this fic for @teamhook for her birthday using a song I had never heard before but knew was her favorite. I was proud of myself just for that, but also . . . do you know how difficult it is to write a character who has amnesia? I didn’t until I tackled this story! It was not easy, but I did it! Not only that, I really liked how it turned out.  

The Early Leaf’s a Flower - I wrote this for the Captain Swan Rewrite a Thon event. It was a rewrite of another story called Someone to Watch Over Me. I felt that StWOM had lost its tone and mood along the way - a tone and mood that was PERFECT in the first couple of chapters. So I did the CSRT in order to get that back - and I did! I was SO proud of myself for that, even though it is nowhere near as popular as StWOM was. I delved into a lot of Neverland mythology, which I felt was lacking in the show. I gave both Killian and Emma rather dark back stories, which is a bit different for me, but I am immensely proud of the world building I did in this. I worked my butt off on it, maybe more than any other story I have written, and I am so stinkin proud of it. 

An Education in Southern Gothic - I scared people. Enough said! Haha, seriously, I never thought I could do that! I wrote it for the @cssns a few years back. It was also fun to incorporate my Southern culture into the world of Once (thank you my Discord peeps for “Ya’ll bloody wankers!”). No one does ghost stories like the South, I’m telling you.

For my last three, I’m choosing what I like to call my “war fics,” even though it isn’t a series. They are also all named after song titles, with the first two being written as part of my Fandom Birthday Playlist for @lenfaz and @superchocovian, respectively. I’m really proud of how I captured the setting of each time period. And I know that “Girl Named Tennessee” is not a well known song by needtobreathe, but ya’ll really need to go listen to it!

the stars through our souls

I don't know exactly why but this fic just works for me. It's a light little romcom that doesn't take long to read, and I won't lie I have reread it a few times. I had so much fun imagining weddings for all the different couples and idiots-to-lovers (or in this case idiots while being lovers) is just my favourite thing.

Modern Misthaven

This collection set in a modern version of Misthaven is my Lieutenant Duckling happy place. It's so, so soothing to write in this verse and almost as soothing to read. The collection has three fics, Error 404: "Little" Brother Not Found, Love Blooms, and Love Reigns. The first one is funny, the others pure marshmallowy fluff. I have vague ideas for a baby-related fourth instalment but time will tell on that one.

I really enjoy college AUs and kind of wish there were more of them. This one I wrote mostly so there would be at least one more. I like how the side relationships turned out and also m u t u a l p i n i n g. I reread it when I want something quick and satisfying to read.

To Keep It All The Year

This might be my favourite thing I've ever written. I love how it flows and I love these versions of the characters and I love the little hints of magic and I love Belle's bookstore and tiny wee Henry and I love the ending. It's hurt/comfort and magic and love and redemption and possibly the most balanced CS relationship I've managed to produce. I loved writing it and I love reading it and when it gets a new comment I do a little happy dance.

Funnily enough, my favorites of my own fics are usually my least popular fics maybe because I’m writing them for myself XD but here we go!

Just Human

I wrote this one for the CSSNS based on a the TV show Being Human and I just really liked writing Emma, Killian and David’s relationship in this. I love found families and this was my attempt to write one of those. I also love that every now and then this fic makes the rounds again and someone will leave me a little comment about how they just found it. Warms my heart. Bonus, if you like it, there’s a sequel! 

She Came From the Water

What can I say? This fic is my baby and one of my favorite things to write. I got to combine my favorite movie, a deckhand!hook-esque Killian and some Knightrook. This one is soft and sweet (and turned out a little smutty despite my best efforts) and I have so much fun writing it and seeing how many damn metaphors I can fit in a single sentence. I think this is my least popular fic but IDGAF I love it.

Stone Hearts

This was my first MC and I think a lot of people don’t know I wrote it because every now and then I get DMs along the lines of “YOU WROTE STONE HEARTS? HOW DID I NOT KNOW THAT?” It’s probably my angstiest fic and it was a story that I tried to write about 700 times before I actually managed to make it a fic. I was driven to it by how much I hated season 6 and so I wrote my own version. This fic is the one I call my baby (that it took me 3 years to actually write) 

Of Cars and Bars

This one I’m including because when I was writing it I didn’t like it very much and almost abandoned it a few times (if not for @kmomof4 I would have - she’s also the reason I expanded this story beyond a little smutty two-parter). But I reread it recently for the heck of it and enjoyed it so much more than I expected to. It’s mostly just smut and Emma denying her feelings but its a fun little band AU (with a good soundtrack if you follow the chapter titles!)

The Gardener 

I wasn’t going to include my short fics but what the heck. I read this one when I’m a little down because it’s pure fluff. It was born of a prompt, of the music video for The Words, and of me seeing if I could write something that has no angst. It’s silly but I love it.
