🌞Year 21 - Summer 2 - The Settlement (P2)🌞

Later that afternoon, the settlement's SentryBot started to malfunction. Rather than zapping burglars and potential newspaper thieves, it entered Owen's little cabin and zapped him!

Belle was immediately put on the job of fixing it with her maxed out Mechanical skill.

"You are malfunctioning," she said to the SentryBot as she worked on it. "Edgar says this is not acceptable and you must be repaired. I must remember this. Malfunctioning is unacceptable."

That night, Cosmo aged up to a toddler! Happy birthday Cosmo!

Edgar didn't want to leave absolutely everything to Belle, so he got to work teaching Cosmo to talk straight away. Cosmo didn't like it, turning his head and babbling away.

Edgar chuckled. "Well, next year is the start of Autumn. Maybe we'll have more luck then."

And as the year and the round came to an end, Belle was the only Sim in the settlement left awake. With no chores left to do, she decided to explore other avenues for herself. She discovered that she could gain fun and creativity by playing guitar, so she stayed in the main building all night playing.

At the end of the round, Edgar is 46, Cosmo is 1, Paul is 51, Owen is 20 and Casey is 15. Belle, of course, is ageless!

Even though Erik was no longer a Servo with the sole purpose of taking care of the house, Loki still thought it would be a good idea to warn him about the Curious and "Nervous Subject" lurking around. Especially since he stays up all night and can roam around the house freely unlike the SentryBot.

He might've got a little distracted by stargazing, but he still took his duty seriously. Now that he considered the Beakers his actual family and not just the Sims he works for, he was willing to kill a man to protect them.

That is the end of their week, though. Next round at Regan Capp's household.

Talking with Harper about the SentryBot seemed to have had an impact on Ferguson because he (*finally*) rolled the want to get a job in the science career.

"I just feel a little bit bored in my lab lately, I think maybe that changes when I know that I am working for the community rather than myself."

Finley was happy to hear that. "I'm just afraid that I'm only able to pay you as much as you would get if your worke as a science teacher in SimCity. At least for now."

Time to open the shop! Most of my sim businesses open Tues - Sat, but Clara kinda opens whenever she has enough stock. It takes time to build all those bots! Isabel and Isabella are both here to confuse everyone with their names. I guess Isabel is considering getting a SentryBot for the farm.
