I'm no fallout expert, but I feel like the show was pretty close to the games lore personally. I noticed a couple of changes, but it's not like they ruined it or something.

Also, it's a different medium, so of course there's going to be some changes tbh

yeah I feel like a lot of people forget that changing the medium of a story is going to inherently come with some changes, which is always gonna be a disadvantage of video game adaptations because to a certain point they have to cater to an audience assuming a large portion of it will be non-gamers who are just interested in the show, which adds the challenge of making sure something is a cohesive story to people who may be experiencing the franchise for the first time in this format

but as far as game-to-streaming adaptations go, i think the fallout show did really well! god knows we've definitely had worse. plus I just think the fallout universe is a very fun setting to play around with, so I'm excited to see more!!! i also really liked the set dressing of the show, i think they absolutely nailed bethesda's art style/vision, and their use of practical effects was definitely refreshing to see in this current age where everything is CGI'd to death

im also definitely manifesting deathclaw, super mutants, & sentrybot encounter in season 2 🙏

How would companions react, while in a chaotic firefight with four Sentrybot, the SS is down to one bullet in the chamber of their rifle. Going to use it, they fire, however miss. But instead, the bullet ricochet off a metal surface a bunch of times, hitting the Sentrybot directly in the Fusion Core, blowing it up

While her brother enjoyed the outdoors, Cornelia preferred to stay inside with her friend Ludvig. He was a little weird and didn't understand many social nuances, but she could listen to his rambling about robots all day long. In a way he reminded her of her dad.

Ironically, Vidcund was still talking with uncle Pascal about Ludvig's family just downstairs. Completely unaware of the Beaker boy just hanging out in a close vicinity.

Vidcund: Look, I get why you're worried. I don't know why Circe would suddenly try being friends with your husband. Put some cameras around and I will make you a few more SentryBots if you're so scared.

Pascal: It's not that I'm scared of Circe. I just don't like the fact, that I have no idea what she wants from us. I don't trust her being nice to Kent all of a sudden and I definitely don't want her around kids.

Vidcund: That's why I still suggest putting around all the security measures. Turn the house into a fortress to protect your family.

Pascal: Vidcund, I appreciate your suggestions, but I don't want to live in a high-security facility. It's enough if I work in one.

Even if they didn't fully agree on each other's ideas, they both enjoyed just having an opportunity to talk and be there for each other. Vidcund definitely appreciated his older brother trusting him enough to reach out to him for advice.

Talking with Harper about the SentryBot seemed to have had an impact on Ferguson because he (*finally*) rolled the want to get a job in the science career.

"I just feel a little bit bored in my lab lately, I think maybe that changes when I know that I am working for the community rather than myself."

Finley was happy to hear that. "I'm just afraid that I'm only able to pay you as much as you would get if your worke as a science teacher in SimCity. At least for now."

"I didn't put any trackers on or inside of you," she assured them.

"Did they put in trackers that you were using?" Tooru asked.

"I was worried!" she admitted, "I don't have that many friends because no one really comes here. I wanted to make sure you two didn't just die in a ditch somewhere!"

"Couldn't you just have the brains, sentrybots, assaultrons, and the like transport the equipment from these labs to the Vault in Sanctuary?" Tooru suggested, "They've got a ton of people you could talk shop with."

Melissa suddenly brightened before the smile faded away. "Physically, we could move the equipment," she noted, "But we don't have the manpower to defend it."

With a few clicks of his Pipboy, Izuku sent a message, then received the response.

"Jirou and her crew, who currently have Mina and ED-E with them, are on their way. We'll cover you."

32. What is their go-to weapon or weapon class?

Mercy: Her primary weapon class is shotguns- her primary is a lever action shotgun, with either a 9mm pistol or .44 magnum revolver as a sidearm/holdout weapon. She also typically carries some variety of concealed blade(switchblade, dagger, etc) along with your standard utility knife.

Reed: Long range; his primary weapons are an anti-materiel rifle, laser rifle, and he has a 10mm pistol as a sidearm. He also carries a small skeletonized dagger(one of his prewar items that was recovered from his destroyed house)for self defense and a utility knife for everything else.

Delta: Melee & heavy weapons; their primary weapons are a power fist, baseball bat, & gatling laser. They also thoroughly enjoy explosives and will frequently use those when they can, much to Reed’s dismay.

Mercy: Nightstalkers

Reed: Radstag & ghoulified dogs

Delta: Brahmin & cats

56. How do they feel about robots? (Eyebots, Mister Handys, Sentry Bots, etc.)

Mercy: A bit leery of eyebots and robobrains, but otherwise cool with robots and usually likes having them around. In their collective canon, Curie’s still a miss nanny and Mercy basically steals her from Reed to have as an assistant/companion when she establishes herself as a doctor there.

Reed: Overall fine with them, he doesn’t really have any issues and thinks they’re nice to have around. Ada’s one of his top companion choices(mostly since she doesn’t hassle him about hoarding junk, theft, or questionable decisions like his usual human/synth companions do)

Delta: They’re great, they love robots and think they’re really cool to have around. They repair & modify robots for a living, so it’d be kind of weird if they didn’t love them. They have a modified sentrybot that they use to transport supplies, & they have an assaultron that manages their trading business when they’re off doing other things.
