Summary: Fate is a bizarre concept with countless more bizarre implications. In life sometimes such extraordinary events happen that the only reasoning left must be fate. The tragedies that constantly befall the Joestar bloodline for example may be the unluckiest series of cards drawn in human history, or perhaps the work of a greater power. There is no way to tell for sure. Had Dio Brando or Jonathan Joestar moved slightly on a divergent path the world itself would be left very different. The fate or luck of the noble Joestar bloodline has led to destruction of evil likes of the Pillar Men and DIO. This story is of a similar caliber to that of the other Joestars (as I am sure you are familiar with them). This is a story of lost souls, compassion, hope, and above all fate.

As much as I love part 3, I think that it would’ve been kinda neato if the fights with Mariah and Alessi were swapped so Jotaro and Polnareff were fighting Mariah and Joseph and Avdol were fighting Alessi.

Jotaro and Polnareff vs Mariah:

Ladies man Polnareff fighting Mariah would probably be interesting since he never had to fight a woman (except for Midler, and even then they fought indirectly and Jotaro did most of the heavy lifting), so seeing how he’d deal with it could be a nice small bit of character study.

Silver Chariot wears armor. Is he magnetic? The world may never know.

Jotaro strikes me as the type of person who does NOT like to be touched, so seeing him lose his temper while being magnetized to Polnareff (as well as everything else around him) would be funny.

Joseph and Avdol vs. Alessi:

PART 2 JOSEPH IN PART 3!

These two fighting Alessi rather than mostly Polnareff would be a much more interesting take on the traditional stand battle if you consider it like this: at age ~7, Avdol may have not fully trained Magician’s Red to its full potential, and thus it wouldn’t have access to the several moves that Avdol came up with over the years (Crossfire Hurricane, Red Bind, etc.), and he could only generate relatively smaller flames. Joseph, on the other hand, would be in his physical prime but unable to use his stand or see Sethan. So Avdol would direct Joseph, telling him what to do and where to hide in order to avoid getting any younger (which would probably be a game over in and of itself), while Joseph attacks Alessi.

Something that is underplayed is that Sethan also reverses the minds of those who get de-aged. Against Polnareff, this is only really used to give the fight more stakes and so we can get the scene of a woman basically giving him a handjob. Against Joseph, however, it’s not totally unreasonable to assume that it would damn near erase all of his memories since he’s significantly older. So imagine young Joseph confused as hell as to why he’s in Egypt when he should be in Italy training with Lisa Lisa and Caesar, and Avdol needing to reason with him what exactly is going on and why he needs to help him.

Also this should go without saying but young Joseph’s presence would also bring about the use Hamon, which is always nice to see post-part 2.

I’m aware that plenty of people have drawn fan art of these scenarios (especially Joseph being de-aged by Alessi, so much so that it made it into HftF), but damn, I just wish that it happened in canon.
