Hey everyone, I’m making this post because I need a favor. Whether you’re in the SKZ or BTS fandom, it’s a serious issue.

I was scrolling through the ‘Felix smut’ tag the other day and came across a certain fic. What caught me off-guard was the banner in said fic.

‘This was written by a minor’

A minor writing smut isn’t a new thing, but to post it publicly on a tag where there’s plenty of 18+ users had me cautious. So I click on their profile to see just how old they were.

13-14 years old.

I couldn’t just pass this by and had to report their blog. The amount of users I saw in the notes for their one fic had me highly concerned because a good chunk of them were explicitly over 18. The fact that they liked or reblogged the fic despite the age difference disturbs me. And I’m sure some of them will try to interact with this minor the longer they’re on here.

If you could report them (@/n-sfwblog-2023) to staff, it would be appreciated. I’m not trying to kill their creativity, but moreso prevent anything possibly predatory or inappropriate from occurring in the future.

I can only do much to protect minor's safety around here, but I decided to answer this ask in hopes anyone can read it.

This account the ask mentions has openly admitted to be a 09 liner (14 years old). They post 18+ stories, too. A lot of people have been reaching out to them, trying to make them understand what's so wrong about being a minor in the smut-writing community, but their responses are kind of concerning.

I understand minors feel curious, I really fucking do. But if anything, the internet is a very dangerous place to explore your curiosity, especially at that age.

I hope you guys can block the account and refrain from interacting with them at all. Please!

sure, did that immediately after I read the ask... god I've been in their place before years and years ago, but I just wish I had someone telling me why it was kind of wrong to engage in such content while being so young, or at least to try and protect yourself in some ways before deciding to post and interact with nsfw.

it ruined my perception of sexual acts and sexuality and I had to work hard to separate things between fiction and reality. my advice for any minor that, unfortunately, after my numerous warnings is still here on my blog, is to just wait a little bit or at least try to educate yourself about certain topics to not face bad experiences in your daily life, and maybe to save yourself the trouble to encounter perverts/pedos online. please, start to be responsable and look after yourself.

there's time to explore your likes and dislikes, and we all get horny while being teenagers, it's normal, but try to not consume nsfw content, hm? or at least, not everyday, not too much, and in the right places. we're not annoying adults trying to boss you around, we really care about your wellbeing.

This is a gentle reminder that as a minor, you should not be engaging in conversations or sharing content with people who are adults. This is not acceptable behavior on both parts.

And for adults, you should not be interacting with minors in general. It is wildly inappropriate and outright absurd for you to interact with minors who are writing sexual content.
