aka I finally caught up to episode 57 and every drow can take me on a segway ride anytime

i had to sleep before the episode ended last night, so i’m reading the critrolestats twitter to catch up and i just got to “Jester brought Essek a cupcake! Essek levitates it to under his cloak.”  i have a couple thoughts: 1) that’s ADORABLE

2) why put a cupcake under his cloak, though?  is it just too undignified to eat a cupcake in front of them all?

3) someone please illustrate the moment when essek gets done dealing with the m9 and goes somewhere to secretly eat a cupcake in private
