I think the fandom should listen to BIPOC more.

The phenomenon of why non-BIPOC in this fandom get unreasonably upset when a person that hosts a culturally appropriative map changes or redesigns a racist/harmful stereotype needs to be studied. I've seen this happen multiple times. With the Bramblefur Map, the Tropical Scourge Map, and the Egyptian Leopardstar Map, each time in the comments there is a white person calling Native Americans/Native Islanders/and Egyptians soft and snowflakes for kindly asking for the racist aspects to be changed. And it's like they completely ignore how, in the map's description, it gives a detailed explanation as to why the removed aspects of the map are racist and hurtful. Generally speaking, I don't think most non-BIPOC in this fandom understand what cultural appropriation means and why it's a harmful thing to do. Either they're ignorant or they just don't care, and they're flat-out racist lol. Which 80%? It's because they're racist.

Here are some sources below that I found to explain why these stereotypes were harmful. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the source for the Leopardstar map becauss the user changed their Instagram. Also Rest in peace to Eekyrat. You were loved and you will forever be cherished.

I also pasted an image of a comment posted by Cheeteh z under the bramblefur map call. Also I do not support them.
