What do you really wish others knew about you?

I’m afraid I don’t know how to love. The relationship I have been in I loved being with that person, but none of the feelings like you hear about in songs and movies. None of the ‘I can’t live without you’ feelings. Now I attribute this partially to my ADHD and the lack of object permanence I have for people and objects in my life literally, ‘out of sight out of mind’ kind of thing. Basically if I don’t see you and talk to you everyday I forget you exist. I don’t know if it’s the fact I’m dating the wrong type of guys or if I am incapable of loving someone. Then there’s the possibility that because most of my relationship have been with men I am unhappy cause my heart is lesbian and doesn’t like men. I’m not sure and halfway through my 20’s still very confused. I know how to love someone in a friend capacity, but any deeper and I’m not sure what I want or what would make me happy. This question just leaves me with more questions about myself ugh.

What words do you need to hear right now to be at peace?

I’m not going to lie this one is a struggle. Working through these prompts has forced me to look at somethings in myself that I never have before. Words that would bring me peace really no words would bring me peace. I don’t want words. Too many times in my life have people used words to gloss over a situation instead of make it better. To many lies and half truths over the years make you bitter at words. I want actions from someone. I want them to see me and try harder than anyone has to prove their words are worth anything. That it’s not just to chastise me, but to show me they mean it. I don’t need words to bring me peace anyone can say pretty words and paint a picture. It takes a special person to turn those words into actions and that is what I want more than anything.

Absence

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days I have been so exhausted and anxious. Horrible dreams and just constant fatigue. I am working very hard on this to make sure I can keep up with my efforts to become a daily blogger. The shadow work just tired me out and I really had to just take a break and give my body and mind a chance to catch up. I am feeling much better now and I will be posting today.
