TL!Au is such an interesting AU to me. While timeloops in themselves are not the most interesting troupe, I love thinkig about how it'd affect Sheriff mentally to experience the loop, how his mental health would slowly decline with every death. I don't even think he'd notice his own mental decline, too stressed and focused on getting out of this godforsaken loop to notice the way he's slowly loosing himself to his own head until has like... a manic episode (This'd likely be the uh,,, murderous rampage loop because he's had this realisation that nothing he does matter in the end, as long as he dies the loops will continue. To him, in his mind, he's practically a god who can get away with anything thanks to the loops.) 

Also I think the fact that he can't tell anyone about the loops plays into his mental unstability, like, he can try telling them about the loops but when he inevitably dies, they'll forget again. It'd drive him up the wall to know he's the only one who can remember the repeating day. Sure that changes later down the track (for better and for worse) but at the time, it would be incredibly frustrating to not have a way for them to remember the days repeating and draining to have to be the only one to have to live with this burden. 

I also like to think about how he'd feel about the scars, and his appearence in general I personally think he'd hate seeing himself in a mirror, every scar on his body a constant reminder of every single failed loop. Like, his eye, he got that torn out and couldn't see out that eye every loop after that. There's also the rope burn mark around his neck. I think you can figure out how that loop went. Like, he would hate his body and mirrors in general. Doesn't want to be reminded of his failures.

And by the time he finally manages to get someone to remember the loops, he's so far gone that he can't fully remember how he used to be, his perception of himself is so scuffed that he can't remember how he looked prior to the loops. And it's not like he can rely on any photos. Like him, they change with every loop, updating to reflect how he looks by the next loop. His only refrence at this point is an old, old photo of Ryan and him. 

And mentally, he's not stable anymore, hasn't been for at least a few hundred loops. He's self destructive, looking for ways to end the loops early when the weight of everything gets to him.  He's not sane anymore like, genuinely he's not sane anymore, he's manic and psychotic, more often times than not he's not there mentally. 

Anyways,,, I treat my favourites so well (lie)

just realized dr benzedrine/shadow man has a flower in his hat instead of a feather like mr benzedrines, also sports a mask (or stage makeup) like the illustrated version of benzedrine. The hat is way shorter and wider brimmed than mr benzedrines top hat. it looks exactly like a boater hat.

Also, I can't really tell if that white squiggly thing on his chest is a bowtie or something else, it almost looks like a necklace or shirt collar-- to me anyways.

It's fair amount of detail for a shadow monster that appeared for like, 0.5 seconds on screen. Even though Pete said America's suitehearts is just a one off thing and was meant to have to plot, wish they expanded on this world in comic book form or something.

JST CAUSE IM FEELING NICE. they.... do kiss. like with hugging and cuddling it takes them a while and their first kiss is. very awkward. like they first time they tried doing an actual kiss together (Twice) but they both failed because 1) choro had to excuse himself. i think i don't have to explain the reason why. and 2) ghost was VERY nervous and tweaked tf out. '....ok i can't do this' cut to them placing their hand over choros mouth like a barrier and them looking away. what do you mean their face is red. no its not when they do kiss it's very quick and almost done and over with as soon as it starts. theyre hanging out one day and choro asks (albeit very nervously) if they want to try it again. after ghost is done yelling and screaming about it and telling him to die or asking why he wants to do that they settle down and say fine. we'll try it. ignore the fact their knuckles are very white from clenching their fists together. imagine them squinting at him like a cat right up until he's like. 1 cm away from their face before they kiss. and then they slap him afterward. 'what the hell?!' 'quit looking so awestruck like that. then i wouldn't have slapped you.' they still have the squinting look afterward but their face is very red and they can't look at him for the rest of the day after that. they have a pretty big issue with eye contact in serious/intimate situations and this is no exception. all the while choro is freaking out if he did something wrong. 'are you sure everything was alright? i didn't do anything wrong in the kiss right?' 'no. you're fine. i just cant look at you right now.' i can't see them making out or anything beyond that.... but ghost does give him kisses on the cheek if they're feeling nice. choro has to excuse himself after each one tho

But I love this animatic so much,, Spamton’s definitely the kinda person to fall for these cult manipulation schemes and we see that with his present day character! One desperate to get his name out will do in fact anything when reaching a certain limit.

oooooooooo i absolutely love this animatic! it's well thought out and, layered with the dialogue, really fleshes out the religious factors of spamton's character.

you're absolutely right he's desperate, curious and determined and like his selfishness definitely is his downfall. Not gullible, but an easy target nonetheless. A real icarus-type character in over his head (even if that parallel has been made plenty of times before by other users but it's a rlly complex trope u can do so much with and deltarune certainly has.)

anyway goes feral over this guy yet another day :D i loved every second of this!!
