#i changed his colors !!#treat this as a suggestion than a solid ref. i spent like 3 hours drawing and redrawing the legs bc i couldnt get the shape right so if u #wanna draw them more planti or digi i do not mind ^_^ get silly with it!! same goes for pelt pattern do whatevr u want with it #the pelt pattern is loosely based on a snowshoe cat which was fun to play with. as u can see they kinda have a butterfly motif going on #if u squint the ear tufts kinda resemble luna moths or swallowtails with the long tail at the end of the wings #i was kinda torn about changing the costume color but it clashed too much with the new color palette so i had to change it #i didnt include the cape here so its easier to see the costume but ill draw it another time if i remember lol #its also a lil hard to see but i put pinstripes on their pants but thats optional. their design is pretty flexible anyway #god im pretty attached to this guy already. hes like semi fan character semi regular character... oc... thing #i should draw more furries. i followed some furry artists for giggles recently and its true what they say. u need furries in your life #btw while i was drawing this i was fooling around while trying to figure out his costume color and colored it as kaito kids suit for fun #and i just stared at it for a solid 5 minutes before saving a picture. maybe ill post it later #my art #myart #my oc #oc #furry art #fur #furry #laika's comet #laika's comet oc #fan character #sleight #ref sheet #oc ref sheet

AKA me getting so pissy on personal about how he isn't kissed by the sun and sea that I decided to give him a tan myself, among other things. But I kept his hair style (slightly) and eye colour.

I just think, in my less than humble opinion, that if they're going to stick a notorious privateer into the game and make him drop a tone of seafaring references then his design should make my timbers shiver and every one of his spicy premium stories should have MC say that his beard tickles the inside of her thighs. And I just don't think White Haired Anime Boy #3 is gonna do that.

And I love Mozart's design.#Drake and Galileo are so derivative of him it's actually insane. Their designs look like someone tore him in half and then let them grow ou #I screamed about how much I hate that there is little shape variation in addition to the lack of colour variation between the 3 of them.#they ALL have longer white hair parted on the side. ALL OF THEM. WHAT ARE YOU??? TARGARYNS??????????#then they ALL have pale skin. Drake is the last one who should look like he never gets any sun. He should be getting the MOST fucking sun #then his one shoulder patterned cape is reminiscent of Napoleon (so: derivative) when his storyline so far #IS ALSO PAINFULLY SIMILAR. DO YOU SEE WHERE MY BLOOD PRESSURE RISES TO LEVELS NOT KNOWN TO MAN #I haven't even brought up how his faces on his sprites are all EERILY similar to Arthur's. I know yamasensei draws very anime style but #the expressions are *almost* a perfect one-to-one #on another note I sat down and did this in a day. which is rare for me. admittedly it's just a bust shot but it was enjoyable.#and I genuinely like how it turned out even though it's really simple #like... *I* think he looks handsome. #pony town #alan becker #animator vs animation #ava the chosen one #ava the dark lord #--/ art #is it new threads if there are no threads to begin with?#leaned all the way away from clothes this time bc they're not really my thing #i was drafting ''fluffy tco'' back in winter season.. biggest idea was hiding some spiked bracelets underneath shoes to act as lil flames.#subtler shading throughout too. less flashy and more natural glow. id say i like both of them tbh: just different #tdl is brand new. just finished him up like last week? last last week? idr #many many many many hours of deliberation along every little inch of this asshole /lh #i was using the edgeworth hair bc the inner outline pattern reminded me of virablades... faded into a braid bc it looked interesting #and broke up the silhouette. then the new hair came out and it SLAPS paired with a braid so that changed instantly.#the main idea for his color palette is pure red -> varying saturation. with shards of black jutting out in places #looks a little sickly. that's on purpose #and the rest just kinda fell into place afterwards.#explosion tail. Love that. one of the main reasons i decided to work on tdl in the first place #took tco's tail colors and applied them to different tails and. bam. you could say. ;3 #yeah tco was fun to make but honestly i can't stop staring at tdl. super happy with the shapes on this one #the horn blends into the hairr patternnn #subpixels

In the last month or so, my interest in nyo!England has blossomed. Yet, I have long disliked the canon stylization of the character.

Ms. Alice Kirkland has never been one to shy away from physical labor or the harsh realties of her own people. Even at the height of her international power, it was rare that- unless directly requested by the monarch or prime minster- that she lived among the aristocrats for long periods of time. A stark difference between her and her French counterpart. While her rebellious days as a sailor were behind her, throughout the 1800s it was not uncommon to find her either in the mines, in a factory, or tending to her own country estate farm.
