(Image ID: Stickers of 6 sharks. Two are dark blue, two are light blue, and two are purple. One of the purple sharks is a hammerhead shark. There’s also two pieces of yellow and green coral, and a yellow and green fish.)
"oh my god..." the bartender breathes in amazement, standing in the middle of the underwater walkway. layla's head is tilted back to watch the smooth hammerhead shark glide above her head. so graceful, equally terrifying, and one of the reasons layla had often refused to ever go in the ocean past her hips. she isn't sure what brought her to the aquarium on this dreary afternoon, maybe to spend some quiet time with the fishes to avoid thinking about her mother. it was just one of those days when the brian decides to latch onto a certain memory locked away from years ago, and not let go until it had painfully dissected every moment and feeling from it. it takes a moment before the brunette finally realises she was standing in the way of other people trying to make it through the isle, "—oh, sorry, didn't realise i was in way."
still thinking about this surfer beach boy named Sunshine I have rattling around in my brain… he had his arm bitten off by a shark, but still loves sharks and is very passionate about them??? LOVES TO SURF… he spends allllll day on the beach
Jeff, the Land Shark! Jeff will be available during the @marveltrumpshate charity auction this year, 2022 (assuming I don’t miss the sign up window this year like I did last year lol)
Jeff was made using CholyKnight’s free shark pattern, with patterns for the dorsal fin and legs that I wrote myself, and a changed face, and I’ll be sharing my pattern pieces soon
The Cousins ~ Part Two
{{under the cut at the bottom is one of the changing breeds, the Ananasi {were-spiders}. I have a degree of arachnophobia and this is absolutely nightmare fuel for me. If you have an issue with our eight legged friends, PLEASE DO NOT READ beyond the cut, and if you do...don’t blame me when you can’t sleep for eternity}}
Origin: Open waters of tropical oceans and is rarely found in water below 70 °F / 21 °C
Diet: Krill, jellyfish and crab larvae, which are strained from the water through their gills by gill rakers
Behavior: Despite they're size they're very gentle and safe to be around! They swim slowly, no faster than 5 kph and are solitary, only coming together occasionally during plankton blooms or mass coral spawnings. Not much is known about how they communicate, but researchers think they do so through vibrations since sharks have very good hearing especially at lower frequencies.
Offspring: Whale shark eggs hatch while inside their mother. A mother shark will give birth to about 300 pups.

xxx As summer begins winding down I have a few hot horror plots still floating around for wishes, which will still be available after but these are pre spooky seasonal edition:
Jaws or anything shark related!
Brain eating amoebas from the deep! aka the absolute most ridiculous idea for a plot that’d be in your traditional B-Movie with rubber monster suits cause let’s get fun with it.
Piranha/Croc/Jellyfish/Insert aquatic nightmare here!
Let’s build an underwater facility where we totally are using science to help save the ocean but absolutely fuck up & oh we invited people to tour it? OH and now we’re having a whole disaster cause our mutant sharks/krakens/shit from the deep we shouldn't have messed with are now loose what can go wrong?!
Surf’s up babe! Oh wait it’s not the killer waves we have to worry about at this awesome beach getaway it’s the killer on the surf board who supposedly died in a surf accident years ago. Is this ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ or the ‘Hash Slinging Slasher’?!
