Shaun didn’t like you socializing - like at all. Though as the two of you walked on, completely disregarding Shaun, he couldn’t help but place the distinct scent of caramel in the air.

There wasn’t one place you went where Joseph hadn’t followed. Walking you to class became a consistent thing, and soon after he was studying, going to the library and even attending lectures with you. Shaun of course accompanied you whenever he could. If his darling were to escape then they would always have to look over their shoulder because there will come a day when he will be right there. If they were to pass however, he wouldn’t be himself he wouldn’t exactly turn into a shell but he wouldn’t be himself. 

Regret: Would they feel guilty? Would they let go? 

If his darling were to become frightened of him to the point where they freak out whenever he’s around or if he breaks them then he would feel regret but other than that not really.

All it took was having the right person coming into his life.
