So, uh. Serena and Shauna came to me, wanting to put together a blog here on Rotomblr for the three of us.

I thought, "hey, what the hell?" and, well, here we are.

My (Calem's) stuff will be in blue, Serena's in red, and Shauna's in pink. We'll also put our names in before our stuff, like I did at the top of this post, for our colorblind friends, and to improve readability more generally as well.

Notes

This is very much a Kalosshipping (Calem x Serena) blog! Mostly fluff and maybe some angst, nothing crazy ("crazy" meaning stuff that shouldn't be happening between two canonical minors)

Discussion of serious topics will happen here from time to time! These include things like loss of a parent, PTSD, existential crises (occasionally), and abandonment issues. I'll be sure to tag appropriately when those do come up though.

Thinking about my own tags and I’m really curious on what other people think. I think queer stories can be told without explicitly putting a name to it but with that being full intention of the creators. But is that what is happening here or is it just mass fandom interpretation. Like I think of Fried Green Tomatoes. The movie never explicitly shows that Ruth and Idgie are queer but it is very clearly a queer story

whats with people lately actually not understanding that fictional characters are fictional? saw a comment. on a post analyzing how fictional characters are treated by fellow fictional people inside their fictional stories. that said well aren't we the exact same because we treat their trauma the same way? no? because those are fictional people?? and their fictional trauma from their fictional (not real) traumatic event. you're a step away from talking about fictional characters not consenting to being viewed during a sex act

soooooo, I got bored and wrote the first chapter of a fanfic. this little sucker has been in my mind for a while, but I finally actually wrote it haha

It's a classic no crash au where the team gets to go to nationals. I'm really excited to get into the nitty gritty of Shauna's resentment towards Jackie compared to Jackie's love for Shauna, but for right now, it's just girls kicking balls around a field while chitting and/or chatting with their friends. A typical Tuesday for the yellowjackets team.
