Ends of the Earth 🌎 — What is a land you have always dreamed of seeing?

I have always dreamed of going to Scotland and seeing where my family lived just a few generations ago! Eilean Donan Castle in particular :)

She Lit a Fire 🔥 — Describe a stranger that you only met once but have never forgotten.

Once, while traveling to another state, I saw a man in the airport who was in the same waiting area that I was. He was probably 15+ years older than me and was asleep on the floor next to his suitcase. I remember having a moment where I thought, “What if he’s my soulmate? What if my soulmate is somewhere in this airport and I pass them and never find them again?” He never woke up and saw me, but I’ve never forgotten him and that strange feeling I had of “what could have been?”.

Meet Me in the Woods 🌲 — What experience completely transformed you as a person?

A huge transformative experience for me was the first time I fell in love: when I was 13 and fell hopelessly in love with my older ballet partner. It was completely one-sided and unrequited, but my feelings were very real and made me grow up in a way that I didn’t expect. That time of life has had a huge impact on who I am now!

To make the video for "She Lit a Fire", the gang headed up to the shores of Lake Huron in northern Michigan. The November weather was merciful, and we had a helluva good time and made some lifelong pals.

Ben had to get stitched up when a prop sword introduced itself to his forehead, but the local doc did an admirable needle job and even sent him home with some fishing tackle for his kit.

she revived the rats. do you understand? you have to, just... her party got strong off of stepping on the little guy. and lucy went back and said no, and brought them back. rats! no one cares about rats. her party members have a joke about how many rats they've killed. lucy went back and healed them.

She Lit a Fire 🔥 — Describe a stranger that you only met once but have never forgotten.

When I was very little (maybe 4-5 years old), I was at the local forest park with my dad. I was in the stream (very shallow) hopping on some rocks when I slipped on a slick one. There was a little boy about my age who ran over to me, helped me up, and walked me back over to my dad. I’ve never forgotten him, and I’ve always secretly hoped that I’ll somehow see him again one day :)

Meet Me in the Woods 🌲 — What experience completely transformed you as a person?

I would say that college transformed me the most, because as a 12-year homeschooler and an extremely awkward introvert with a stutter, I was out of my league and terrified. However, I learned not to be afraid of my personality, not to shut myself away from other people, and how to live with confidence and maturity. I wouldn’t be who I am without those friends and experiences!

When the Night Is Over 🛣️ — What is your favorite thing to do in the rain?

Sit by the window, curled up under a blanket with a book and a mug of hot chocolate!

Mine Forever ♾️ — What can you not live without?

I couldn’t live without hope! One thing that keeps me going every day is my hope for the future, no matter how far away it seems. Superficially, I couldn’t live without cozy clothes and egg rolls :D

The Stranger 👥 — If you met Death, what would you ask him?

I would ask him if he ever loves the people he has to take.
