"JACK, YOU FUCKIN WHORE" Merida shouted, Jack cackling from her screen. He ran off after killing her and taking all her loot, Minecraft of course. "I DIDN'T HAVE MY SPAWN POINT SET, YA DAMN RAT" Jack shrugged and looked at her through their Discord video call. "Sucks to suck I guess" he grinned as Hiccup walked back into his room, appearing in everyone's camera. "Guys look at what I found" he sat down again with a smile, a green frog hat on his head. Rapunzel paused from decorating her house and smiled. "When did you get that?" Hiccup grinned, showing off his familiar tooth gap as he put his headphones back on. "When I visited Jack in Pennsylvania, I kinda lost it after I moved out of my dad's house though" Merida checked the time. While it was 1:18pm for Jack, it was 7:18pm for her and Hiccup and 6:18pm for Rapunzel, so she knew they wouldn't be on for much longer. "Hiccup, tell ya fuckin boyfriend to give me my shit back!" She quickly spat out before she got distracted, Jack flipping her off playfully. Hiccup rolled his eyes and smiled, looking at Jack on their call. "Jack, stop being a dick" "nope! she can stop being a puss and come get it herself" he grinned and laughed as he saw merida's cheeks slightly redden with anger. "Jack you damn asshole, just wait till I get to American!" Rapunzel laughed lightly, putting her face in her hands, the half of her blonde hair that wasnt shaven short falling beside her face before she lifted her head slowly. "Why is everyone suddenly some kind of genital?!" Merida couldn't help but smile a bit. "We're speed running our twitch bans!" she joked, Jack leaning back in his seat as he laughed. Before promptly falling back with a small scream and his headphones falling off his head, along with unplugging from his computer. The group, especially Merida, bursted out in laughter, Hiccup hiding his face in his hands to hide his laughter. "Are- are you okay?!" He asked between laughs, watching Jack slowly get up, laughing at his own mistake. He nodded and leaned on his desk for a second before lifting his chair back up. "I'm fine, I'm fine!" he listened to his dad, North, hit the roof/second story floor as a way to tell Jack he needed to quiet down. Jack took a deep breath and sat down again, fixing his headphones. "Im blaming Merida for that" he teased, Merida laughing and throwing her hands up as she looked around in confusion. "MEE? Punzie brought up genitals, Snowflake!" Jack took a breath to keep himself from laughing as he held up a finger to the screen. "Only Hiccup is allowed to call me that, he is my exception to that damn nickname!" Hiccup smiled proudly while his and Jack's chats have the usual 'awes' and what not. Merida rolled her eyes playfully. "Gay ass mother fuckers" as she took a sip of her water, Hiccup chuckled and raised an eyebrow. "Your girlfriend is literally in this call?" Merida paused for a second and looked at her screen. "ShhhhhhUT the fuck up" She smiled at him before resuming her game as Hiccup laughed in confusion. "Rapunzel, your girlfriend is a bully" Rapunzel laughed lightly and hummed as she decorated her house with flowers. "I know, but I love herrr" Similarly to Jack and Hiccup's chats, the girls' chats also filled with 'awes' and compliments on how cute the two where together. The gaming and goofing around went on for another two hours before Hiccup, Rapunzel, and Merida all said goodbye so they could eat dinner and go to bed, leaving Jack to stream for another hour before ending his own stream. He texted his friends goodnight since he knew they were laying down by then before heading downstairs for lunch. They made the timezones work, even if it was just as chaotic as their friendship.

Wildflower // C.H
Tumblr media
(credits to the owner of the picture)
Pairing : Calum Hood x Female Reader.
Warnings : Smut, things are getting hot and heavy so take a seat. Swearing and fluff.
Words : 2.5k.
Inspired by : Wildflower by 5sos, duh. And Calum’s pink hair and also a Bad Bunny’s song called A Tu Merced and his videos that he’s been posting with his girlfriend.
a/n : I wrote this today so all mistakes are mine. Feedback is more than welcome. Love y’all and stay at home if you can, stay safe and take care.
"Calum what have you been doing this quarantine?" Calum read the sticker question on his Instagram story while he did the video for the answer.
"Well, not too much to be honest" he said with his raspy morning voice and with his notorious aussie accent. "I'm watching tons of tv shows that I left in the middle, taking the sun, believe it or not baking a lot so also exercise so at the end of this I'm not a ball so yeah".
"Do you have in mind your next hair color?" the question said. He was using a cap since he is recording the videos in the patio. It was a sunny day and people could noticed the glow the sun and maybe another thing was making on his skin. "Actually I did something the other day, I had another color and yesterday I changed it to this one I don't think you guys want to see it" he said removing the cap pointing at his blonde hair.
He answered a couple of questions related to the upcoming album releasing soon and then he said goodbye. "K' guys I'm gonna start my day, hope everyone is okay and please stay home. Love ya' and take care".
+
He didn't mean it to film this video for his social media and he had in mind to keep it to himself but he wanted to change that and posting anyways since everyone is doing something to show that we are in this together and just to goof around. He is always been so quiet when it comes to big things happening around the world and fans didn't like that about them sometimes.
The previous week he was so bored and had no idea what to do next. You and Calum already had breakfast and exercised early in the morning. It was hot outside so you bring up with the idea to be in the pool. He agreed and went upstairs with you to change into your swim suits.
You and Calum have always been a hot couple but keep it reserved to yourselves even when there is no surprise for the rest of the world even when you try to hide it. You were wearing a tiny red bikini that always drives Calum crazy. He had to control himself for not ripping it off, he wanted to enjoy the moment with you.
"Damn mama, you know how much I love you and thank God for this bikini" he said almost frustrated and kissed your neck before he asked you to help him with the sunscreen on his toned back. Then as he was laying on the grass you also applied the product on the back of his legs. You laughed when you remembered that time when last summer he was laying on his stomach all naked taking the sun and helped him with the sunscreen too for his thighs and ass.
After a long time in the sun when it was burning so much you both went to the pool and enjoyed there with music in the background.
"K' time to get out?" Calum asked you while your legs were laced on his waist and your arms around his neck. You nodded at him and with the same position he hold you with his strong arms out the pool. If it is a cold day he would do the same but in the jacuzzi.
During the last weeks you have been listening to Bad Bunny's new album. It is a hot album like he said in an interview that his mom asked him to go to church on sundays. You have been teaching spanish to Calum since you listen to latin artists and know perfectly the language.
You both are always goofing around so he was next to you dancing in the grass. 'La Santa' was playing in the back in the big speakers so you had a whole party for two. He hugged you from behind while you sang the lyrics and when the song ended he lifted you again to sit in the glass table he has in the shadows. He sit in the comfy chair and you take a sit on his lap, both still with wet hair from previous the swimming.
"Ugh, can we take a picture like this, please?" he asked you and let you know he is been dying to freeze this moment with you like this on his lap and your famous bikini. He took more than one and when he checked them he is mesmerized at your natural beauty and gorgeous body. He sent the pictures to you and you teased him how needy he is today.
You took his face in your hands to give him a peck. "What are you thinking, handsome?" you asked him knowing him perfectly he had something.
"I saw a meme about please do not cut your bangs during the quarantine and I was thinking what if I dyed my hair?" he said. You laughed at his childish idea and told him that he is doing exactly the opposite what the meme he saw said.
"And what color do you have in mind?" you said brushing his little curls with your fingers.
"Mmm I don't know why I had a pink tint upstairs" he said thinking while he rested his head on your boobs, still holding your waist.
"Now you have my attention" you said at him. He gave a little kiss to your exposed breast before he stood up to go find the tint.
Once he came back with everything he needed. You offered him to help him.
But, before you could start, 'A Tu Merced' started playing and Calum knows how much you love this one. The song basically says how she has he wrapped around her finger, that is why in the song Bad Bunny sings that he would do anything she asked him.
Calum started filming with his phone with the front camera as he left his phone in the glass table pointing at the back of the patio where you two started dancing closer since it is a little bit slow song, he tried his best and followed your hips while he sang in your ear the chorus of the song in spanish, and when he lost the rhythm he sit again and you came closer to hug him from behind and you buried your head on his neck and kissed his temple. He was fast again to put you back on his lap. "God, I love you baby. Can we spend all of our mornings like this?" he asked while he devised your lips and kissed you. You shifted yourself better to straddle him so you were blocking the view so his phone was recording your back and when Calum grabbed your ass firmly with both hands. Both of you forgot about the phone and got lost in your make out session while the songs keeps playing. Calum took advantage of what he had in front now that you looked taller on his lap and kissed your exposed skin closer to his mouth then he moved his hands up to the side of your boobs where the straps of your bikini rounded your chest. You groaned because the difference of temperature of his hot hands and the cold of his chains against you compared to the coldness of your clothed skin because of the damp bikini.
You kissed him on the lips interlacing your arms around his neck but broke the next move when the song ended and you came back to reality. “Cal, is still recording or you stopped the video?” you asked him referring to what he started what should be how you dyed his hair. Not that you wanted to do a sex tape with him, at least not in the back of the house.
“Fuck” he jumped and stopped the video immediately. You hid your red face on his neck and laughing at how you both were a mess. You protested at him to not see the video now, you were still embarrassed but he did it anyways and praised you at how amazing and hot you looked on top of him.
“You should keep the video, ya’ know if you miss me on tour” you winked at him and you felt his bulge against your clothed sex. He suggested to move on to dye his hair before he make love to you right there.
You know he is not going to show the video to anyone and you kinda liked the take from that angle when you saw it.
Now, without distractions Calum was recording the process for his new hair color. “Day one thousand of quarantine, we are going to dye my hair” he said to the camera like youtubers doing a tutorial. He introduced you and you started doing what he wanted so you put the gloves and dyed his hair, the video was really funny and his final reaction of the result was hilarious. He was in the bathroom looking at the mirror still with the towel around his neck. “Don’t try this at home, I look like Nicki Minaj but in a bad way” he joked.
During the rest of the day you couldn’t stop running your fingers through his pink hair. It looks amazing on him even when you miss the black curls and even more his afro and you let him know that he looks so handsome.
Once he finished a live stream with Luke (but hiding his hair with the hoodie) on Instagram he went upstairs to get ready for bed. He looked so cuddly with his white cream hoodie and just boxers. He gave you a look, open wide eyes when he found you were wearing the empathy hoodie that he found the last week, and your black lace panties.
“I think I’m going to make this my wallpaper” he pointed at you his phone and the photo he chose. It was the exact moment of his hands on grabbing your ass and the rest was your back with little drops of sweat and water. You hid your red face and laugh on his neck at how shameless he is. "What?! We are staying at home just the two of us, it is not like someone or the guys are going to see your beautiful curves as my background" he said but definitely when the quarantine ended in a future he forgot to change the wallpaper so everyone he knows saw it, even the paps or fans when he walked in the streets and were holding his phone unlocked and cameras did catch what picture he has.
"You are playing a dangerous game, Hood" you looked at him daring him that this game can be played by two.
"Uh yeah?" he bit his lower lip and put down his phone on the nightstand as he got closer, his hands have been always curious so he dug them under his hoodie that you were wearing and for his surprise of your bare chest already. He positioned himself on top of you as you melted into the mattress. He supported his right arm by your side while the left one lifted the green hoodie to show your breasts. He licked all the way up from your stomach to your nipples, you moaned at his warm breath against your skin and arched your back when he played with your nipples. You managed to take off your hoodie so he could continue with his way now kissing your neck where he left hickeys and later you are going to notice that he left in your breasts too.
"I'm going to choose a turtleneck sweater if I want to facetime my family tomorrow" you said thinking of your next move. Got it. "What if we end what we started earlier in the pool?" you asked him with a playful grin.
"What do you have in mind? you know I'm all yours, baby girl" he said lifting his brows making you laugh.
"Ya' know like a hotter video than we did accidentally before I dyed your hair" you could feel how he got even harder against your panties and you love that you have that effect on him. You and Calum are very open mind when it comes to your privacy, it is another topic that he plays an angel role in public.
"Oh my goodness baby girl you are already the death of me" he jumped off the bed to settle his phone so the view were your bodies but from your left side so both of you can see your figures. He took off his clothes and turned off the lights so the moon light is illuminating your bodies.
You were thinking to take care of him but he had other idea. He let you know that tonight was all for you and he wanted to hear you calling out his name with no shame.
After the first round and you both were breathing hardly enjoying and waiting for your waves of pleasure after reaching your highs to pass. "Are you down for another round?" he asked you kissing your chain he gave you for Valentines day. You admired him and softly brushed his pink hair backwards, you got a little bit of the tint in your fingertips since he is so sweaty. Calum was looking down at you too, taking his time looking your features amazed of your beauty and your curves he was touching carefully, god he loves you so much. Despite your or his previous relationships, he talks for himself that you are the only who make him feel like this.
"What are you looking?" you grinned at him after his admiration.
"Nothing baby, I just love you so fucking much" he said putting your hair off your face.
"I love you too" you said, it was the most honest and tender moment you exchanged.
He was going down again to make love to you twice that night. When his fingers landed close your pussy you jumped because you were still so sensitive. He started kissing you from head to toe before he ate you out, king of oral sex. And when again you reached your orgasm and his name left your mouth loud and clear.
He went up to kiss your skin and give attention to your side boob tattoo. It is a wildflower tattoo, not to big but when that piece of your skin is exposed it caught everyone attention.
"My wildflower" he said in a lusty voice like if he was eating his favorite meal when he kissed your tattoo. And that’s it, that’s how he got the inspiration for the song, plus he is going to have his pink hair for a couple of days that you let him clear that you love it. And he just posted on his account a short video when you dyed his hair because the rest of the video and pictures and the video from the previous night it is just for you and him.

Tumblr media
The boys of 1:27 made a detour on a small BBQ shop on their way home to celebrate their successful performance for that night. Charlie promised them that she’ll pay for dinner and so they are stopped at the BBQ shack that they passed by on their way home. Everyone excitedly stepped out from the minivan with their arms around each other.
At this time of the night, they were the only ones inside the place. They took it as a go signal to be loud and did as they please. On a respectable manner, of course.
On one side, Johnny was filming a vlog with Mark and Doyoung. They talked about how they had fun at the performance and they wished that they can do more stuff like that in the future. Meanwhile, Taeyong helped Charlie decide what and how much to order.
The pair came out alongside the staff to help them in carrying their massive order. They brought out about five trays of barbeque and side dishes which almost didn’t fit the small rectangular table that they have. They thank the staff for their troubles and started gobbling marinated meat right away.
The staff then came out with another tray. This time, it was filled by glasses containing amber-tinted liquid.
The boys cheered as Charlie went around the table and gave each one a glass. Mark was the first one that was handed the drink and so he took a sip right away. He then started laughing uncontrollably as he takes a sip once again from the glass.
“Dude, it’s apple juice.”
Charlie went back to her seat smiling smugly.
“Of course, it’s apple juice. I’m not going to baby your drunk asses off when we get home.”
The table went quiet, filling the room with sounds of chewing and utensils clanking over plates. Doyoung tried to lighten the mood up and started sharing stories about the miniconcert that they were invited in. They also got along well with the other performers and started taking pictures with them as well.
Charlie whipped out her phone and showed everybody pictures and videos that she captured while they are performing. They can all hear the cheers and screams coming from the videos. The loudest was definitely Charlie. Everyone was excitedly jumping up and down and singing their song with them. They got all hot and sweaty from the humid weather and moving around the stage. That didn’t stop them from interacting and hyping up the audience. She even argued that it made them even more appealing, especially to the young ladies watching. Some of them even tried to get the boys’ number but they all politely declined and just settled for selfies instead.
They also played games that night which resorted to Mark paying almost half the bill as they left. The guys thanked the owners for not kicking them out for being so noisy and promised that they’ll be back to eat there again. They hopped inside one by one and passed out as soon as their bodies touched the seats.
Taeyong stayed up for a bit and waited until everyone was asleep. He grabbed his phone out of his pocket and leaned on the glass window, making a tired peace sign. He sent you the pic and typed a message right after.
Taeyong: We did well today. I’m almost home. Missed u.
His thumb hovered over the send button for a while. He cringed at the last sentence and erased it before sending it to you and popped in his eyemask and headphones to sleep.

“Any more questions about your assignments for this month?”
Everyone remained quiet and just shook their heads in response. The team meeting took longer than expected and it is already past lunch time. You were impatiently scribbling on the notes that you took earlier. A little trick that you do so you will look like you’re busy doing something productive. Your thoughts are now clouded by hunger and boredom and and you kept looking at the clock ticking. You are silently praying that no one will ask a question and extend the meeting any further.
“Okay then.”
The supervisor, an old guy in his early fifties, finally closes the presentation and started closing the tabs in his windows. He shut the laptop down and slammed it close.
“We’ll see each other again same time next month. Remember to stick to your deadlines.”
Finally.
The room rattled as everyone tries to pack up their stuff and get out as fast as they can. You stood up from your chair. You did a bunch of weird poses to stretch your aching body from sitting down too long as you waited for the crown to dissipate before walking away from the room.
You grabbed your handbag from beside you and dug through tons of your unorganized stuff before you were finally to fish your phone out to do a time check. Instead, you were met by tons of photos and videos sent by Charlie that morning. They were mostly pictures of them rehearsing and goofing around the area. A slight curved on your lips as saved all of them in your phone and made your way into the breakroom.
Things are going well for the past couple of weeks. You and Taeyong barely talked before the event because he was busy practicing but at least you can finally look him in the eyes. Greetings are also once again exchanged, you even sent him off on their way to the event. With that out of the way, you’re finally able to catch up on to your prior commitments and saved yourself from being fired that week.
You bolted to the breakroom because you can now hear your stomach complaining. You politely bowed at everyone inside and snaked your way through a bunch of your coworkers. Today’s hot topic was them complaining about how long the meeting was and that Mr. Supervisor purposely stretched the meeting out because he wanted to spite all of you. None of that mattered to you though. The croquette that you made last night for lunch was the only thing on your mind. Upon reaching the fridge of the tiny breakroom, you microwaved your lunch for a few seconds before to your cubicle to eat in peace.
You greeted the one sitting beside you before you took a seat. The stacks of folders and papers were set aside to make way for your lunch bag. You carefully took the contents and dived right in to calm down your growling stomach. At the same time, you decided to pop in an earphone and listened to some of 1:27 recordings while eating. A ding! interrupted the music so you absent-mindedly opened the messages without seeing who it’s from.
Abby: Hey boo.
The text intrigued you. She wasn’t the type to text someone unless it’s an emergency.
  You: Oh hey. What’s up?”
Abby: Don’t freak out, okay?
Abby: I think I saw Yuta in the mall today.
You felt a lump on your throat, and it wasn’t your lunch. You felt as if someone threw a bucket of iced water at you. You’ve set your lunch down and immediately pressed reply.
You: You sure it’s him?
You: Guy might be visiting his sis. I’m sure it’s nothing.
Abby: You sure?
Abby: Would you like to stay at our place for a while? I’m sure big bro wouldn’t mind.
As much as you wanted to stay over at anyone’s house for tonight, the Li household wasn’t the best option either. The last time you slept over, he glared at you whenever you tried moving anything in the house by a small fraction.
This might be an overstatement but the only thing scarier than Yuta is judgmental Li Yongqin.
You: Yeah, it’s probably nothing. Don’t worry about me.
Abby: Just in case something happens, you have my number okay? Be safe.
You dropped your phone at your desk and you felt your body getting colder and your breaths getting shorter once again. Eating lunch didn’t feel right anymore so you placed the lid back on and slipped it back, exchanging it with the water bottle. You drank half of its content and took deep, long breathes to slow down your racing heart for a bit. You dizzily bobbed your head down and rested your head on your folded arms. People asked if you were okay but you just smiled weakly and insisted that you’ll just sit the day out until office hours was over
As the day ended, Abigail Li picked you up from work that day. She insisted that if you’re not staying over at their house, the least thing that she can do was to make sure that you get home safely.
“Are you sure that you don’t want to stay over? I’ll lock Yongqin in my closet upstairs if it makes you feel any better.” Abby knew what her brother did last time and she made Ten apologize for the glaring at her. He did some half-hearted apology before glaring one last time and shutting himself back to his room.
“Relax. I’ll be fine. It’s been years since we’ve last seen each other. He probably moved on already.”
A sigh left her mouth.
“Fine. Don’t forget to lock everything when you sleep, aight?”
///
The first thing you did as soon as you got home was to lock everything just like what Abby said. You said that you’ll be fine to assure Abby, but you know you couldn’t be too sure about Yuta. First thing you did was grab a few chips and a can of cat food for Felice. The bedroom was the most secure part of the house so you decided that the best thing to do was to camp in there until the morning comes.
You held Felice close and stroke her soft fur to calm yourself down. She had become your most loyal companion on your path to recovery when you shut yourself from everyone else. She snuggles into your chest and purred lightly, probably sensing your uneasiness.
You used all your willpower to sleep that night but your mind was restless. Even after you stuffed yourself full, drank room temperature milk and fiddled on some fancam videos, you just couldn’t your mind off of Nakamoto Yuta.
The last time that you saw him was when you were crying nonstop at the police station as Abby and Sophie held you in.
Everything played out in your head like a film in cinema.
Na Yuta.
Awesome performer.
Awful person.
(This part may be a trigger to some readers so if you wouldn’t be comfortable reading this, skip to the next ///)
Everyone knew that he’s a player. That’s the first thing that he told you when you met him. It made him look dangerous, something you just need in order to spice out your cookie cutter life. Your parents just went into divorce and your life was going downhill.
He’s just a perfect distraction.
It went well at first, you became his muse. He’d shower you with love and gifts. He made you feel things that you never felt before. That didn’t last very long though.
Not even a year later, fights became a common occurrence. You finally understood how someone can love and hate a person at the same time. As soon as you realized the kind of guy that he is, you couldn’t get out. You made excuses after excuses and still waited for the time that he will change.
He’d go on tours and you would hear stories about him being seen with other women. Plural. Witnesses gave you a different description at every story that you believed it was ridiculous. It’s probably a colleague. Or it was fan and hew was just doing a bit of fanservice. That’s what you believed because that’s what he’d tell you every time you would confront him about it.
At the few times that you did caught him, he’d lie blatantly as if he didn’t just get caught. You couldn’t also count the times that he’d turn the table around and find some guy to link you with. It tricked you into believing that it was your fault that he did it. That he regrets being with you.
You couldn’t also fathom that you cried yourself to sleep because of him. He wouldn’t respond at parties and it would take him days before responding. He made you feel that you are never good enough for him, damaging your self-esteem and confidence in the process. And then he would go full circle and be over the top with surprises and gifts. He starts to go all soft on you and made you weak against his touch and kisses. It’s reminder that only him can make you feel that good, even if he’s also the one who caused you pain.
You also turned your back against everyone. Nobody could contact you for months. It was mostly you, trying to keep your ego intact. You can already hear them mocking you and will remind you that they told you so. He also convinced you that nobody else will love you like he did. The absence of your friends and family made you lonely. It was like they didn’t even miss your presence. And so you clung unto him more.
But everyone has their breaking point. At that point, you’re numbed out. You didn’t even cry as you saw him bringing someone into your own home. It was the wakeup call that you needed to get away from him. You finally realized that you didn’t deserve to be treated like trash and broke things off with him right then and there.
He didn’t like that one bit. He saw you as his possession and no one can take you away from him easily. Yuta started following you around wherever you’ll go and asked you to talk things out with him. He’ll pop in at your office, at the club where you would drink your troubles away, or at any possible location where he knows that you would see him. He was switching back and forth from begging and reminding you the memories you both had into going full psycho and texting you that you’ll regret ever leaving him.
It made you so paranoid that you just flat out refused to go outside at the fear of meeting him. The girls wanted to do something about your condition, and decided that the best thing to get your mind off of things was to surprise you on your birthday.
They brought your favorite food with them and decorated the party with your favorite colors. It was unexpected and you even apologized to everyone for causing them trouble. The night made happy that night and finally be able to smile for the first time in months. All was going well until everyone decided to go outside and take a group photo. Yuta popped out of nowhere and started dragging you away. You were crying and begging him to let you go but he insisted that he needs to talk to you and it wouldn’t take a while.
All hell broke loose. The guys rushed outside to intervene. Sophie’s then boyfriend (now husband), was a big, strong man and was able to grab him by the collar and beat the living crap out of him right in front of you. The sudden violence made you cry harder than earlier. There was nothing that you can do besides watch as everything go down. Both the police and the paramedics came right after and disturbed the whole neighborhood.
That day was still, hands-down, the most awful day of your life. The memory was so horrifying that your birthday is doomed for life. Nobody ever tried to do something for your birthday again, as per your wishes.
You strike yourself as lucky that you don’t have to go to a psychiatrist or drink meds anymore to sleep. Flashbacks make you shake a little bit, but at least that’s manageable. You cannot say the same thing about meeting Yuta once again.
///
“Here’s your stop. I’m sorry I couldn’t drop you off by Y/N’s apartment. The street was small and it would be difficult to turn the van around.”
“It’s totally fine. Walking won’t hurt me.”
Taeyong grabbed his duffel bag and his guitar from the backseat and steps outside the vehicle. He waved at them goodbye before the van went back to the road. He adjusted the straps of his guitar case and duffel bag so he can carry them both comfortably as he begins to walk towards your place.
It was eerily quiet at that time and something just didn’t feel right. He tried to shake the feeling off and increasing his walking pace. It didn’t take long before he can see the building from a distance.
He didn’t know if he was just imagining things but he could’ve sworn that he saw a dark figure lurking in the darkness surrounding your apartment. He muttered a series of curses made a run for it.
///
Your thoughts were interrupted when you thought you heard footsteps coming from outside your house. You were jolted awake and started going into panic. Your heart pounded so much that you can hear it ringing through your ears. You forced yourself to not mind the sound and convinced yourself that you’re just imagining it.
You felt your heart drop as you heard the front door opening and swung slowly. You can definitely hear footsteps just right outside your door. That’s impossible. You locked every single entrance that night. Mind is getting a bit hazy at this point from hyperventilating. Despite this, you grabbed anything that you can get your hands on and decided to face the intruder head on.
You opened your bedroom door just started wielding the thing you are holding at whoever it is that’s outside. You heard a loud thud at the ground and a guy squirming in place.
“Oh shit.”
You quickly realized who it is and threw the blunt object away, now realizing that it’s a tripod. You kneeled down right in front of him and started panicking again. This time, it’s for a whole other reason.
“Oh my god, Taeyong. Are you okay?”

Alex POV
I wake up to the warmth and weight of Y/N sleeping on top of me. She had her head resting on my chest and her arms wrapped around me, her breaths low and quiet. It was adorable seeing her this soft, considering how she acts on the pitch. She’s been known to intimidate opposing players just from her resting bitch face, well and her dominating footwork. She’s just a big teddy bear with a hard past and family life. A past that she hasn’t really spoken to me about, especially the stuff Ali brought up last night before dinner. I hate the thought of anyone hurting her: past relationships, old girlfriend’s families, and even her own family. She’s the most caring and sweetest person I’ve ever known, so why would anyone treat her so badly for being her? She can be pretty stubborn though, but I’ll just blame that on Kelley. It’s not my place to force her, if she wants to tell me about her past then she will. While I’m lost in my thoughts, I’m stroking my girlfriend’s hair which causes her grip around me to tighten slightly and her to snuggle her face into my chest. I smiled softly at the sight of her, knowing that I would be completely and fully happy waking up next to her for the rest of my life. That’s something I’ll keep to myself though…
After a few more moments, I hear her mumble something while she moves slightly. Her eyes open slowly before she squints them in response to the sunlight coming through our window. She rolls over to her back and groans as she covers her eyes with her hands when the alarm goes off. “Well, good morning to you too,” I said with a small laugh while I shut off the alarm. She peeks her eyes out from between her fingers to look at me, a smile forming on her face. “Good morning, babe,” she says with a yawn, “I hate mornings, I swear. Well, besides getting to wake up next to you.” She gives me a goofy smile and a wink after her statement, which causes me to hit her shoulder with a laugh. “Yeah, yeah,” I say while rolling my eyes, “Trying to be cute while you’re grumpy isn’t a good combo. Now, if you want breakfast you’re going to have to get up now because we have to leave for training soon.” That causes her to groan loudly before getting out of bed. She stops at the end of the bed and stretches, allowing me to catch a glimpse of her abs. “Hey now,” Y/N says when she catches me staring, “I may be a tease but keep it in your pants, you goof.” I laugh as I get up from the bed and head over to my suitcase, “Can you blame me? You’re hot. Just stating facts.” As I got dressed she yelled from the bathroom, “Oh yeah, says the swimsuit model!” I rolled my eyes while I grabbed my phone and my bag as I walked towards the bathroom, “I’m heading downstairs, I’ll see you at breakfast. This fake argument isn’t over either.” She gave me a soft smile, which I returned, and nodded her head before giving me a quick kiss.
When I get down to breakfast, Kelley and Allie call me over to go sit with them while I grab something quick to eat. “Hey, Al,” they both say as I sit down. “Hey, guys,” I answer as Kelley gives me a look, “Something wrong, Kel? You’ve got a weird look on your face.” She let out a small laugh as she looked over at Allie then back at me, “I guess you’re in a better mood today, compared to last night.” “What do you mean?” I asked with a confused look. She let out a low sigh as she said, “Last night you were a little on edge, especially when it came to Y/N. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you were a little jealous of her friends being clingy and Lindsey sitting on h--” “I wasn’t jealous,” I say quickly, interrupting her. She looked over at Allie before they both started laughing, “Okay, yeah. Sure, Al. Jealous or not, you were in a weird mood the whole night. Am I wrong?” I looked at both of them for a few moments, trying to read their expressions. Which, of course, all I see is knowing looks. I let out a loud sigh as I ran my hand over my face before saying, “As much as I hate to admit it, you’re not wrong. I wasn’t jealous. I just had a lot on my mind and it put me in a weird mood. I’m sorry if that put you guys in a weird situation.” Right after I said that I see Y/N walk in the room. She smiled when she saw me and headed towards our table after talking to JJ and Crystal. “It’s fine, Alex,” Allie says, drawing my attention back to them, “We just wanted to make sure you were okay.” “I’m okay, guys. I promise,” I answer with a smile as my girlfriend took the seat next to me. “What are we talking about?” Y/N asked with a confused look. “Just about last night,” Kelley answered while glancing over at me, “Dinner, and everyone’s Instagram stories mostly.” “Oh, yeah,” Y/N said while she pulled out her phone, “I haven’t even looked at them yet.” She set her phone down on the table while she ate so she could watch what was going on. She laughed every now and then while she watched each video pass through her screen. I watched her as she smiled at the chaos of Lindsey’s story and the jokes on Sonnett’s, and it made me smile for a moment. The moment is short-lived whenever she clicks on Ash’s story, and the first thing that pops up is the video of her and her friends. My smile fades while I watch the videos go on with Lindsey on her lap, and try my best to hide my discomfort.
Y/N groans as she watched the rest of the videos she and her friends were in and Kelley laughs at her reaction. “What are you laughing at, Smalls?” Y/N asks with a fake glare. “Oh, nothing, Biggie Smalls,” Kelley said through her laughs, “But it looks like we need to leave you and Janice alone to talk.” All three of them look at me to see the discomfort clear across my face. Allie and Kelley get up and walk over to Tobin and Christen’s table a few moments later, leaving Y/N the only one staring at me. “Alex?” she asked quietly, “Is there something wrong that you want to tell me?” I sighed before looking at her, seeing her light blue eyes full of confusion. “It’s just the same stuff we talked about last night,” I say reluctantly, “The videos just brought it all up again. I’m sorry, nothing’s wrong. I promise.” She gave me a sad look before nodding her head. “Okay,” she said while taking my hand in hers, “If you say so, babe…” “I do say so,” I answer, “I promise I’m fine, we’re fine.” Y/N’s sad expression has faded as she gives me a soft smile, which I return. After a moment of getting stuck in a trance caused by the changing colors of Y/N’s eyes, I pull her in for a quick kiss. “Alright, break it up,” we hear Ash say as we pull away from the kiss a few seconds later, “There are children present. Save that for your room.” She motioned to Mal and Tierna sitting at the next table as she and Ali sat down across from us. I gave them a smirk as Y/N rolled her eyes at them while saying, “Yeah, yeah. Thanks for the tip, mom.” Ash laughs while Ali asks about how things went with my family last night. We talk for a few more minutes before we head out of the hotel to the vans for training.
Y/N POV
Saying that I’m glad to be able to train again would be a fucking understatement. I’ve missed everything about training: the drills, scrimmaging, and even the running (if you can believe that). Being stuck on the sidelines for two whole weeks has been brutal, only because I wanted to be out there playing with everyone else. So yeah, I’m excited about how things are going at training, for once. “Way to go Y/N!” Jill yelled from the sideline after I scored another goal in our 2v2 scrimmages, “I’m glad to see that you didn’t let those two weeks put you behind everyone else. Keep up the hard work. Next goal wins!” I smiled and gave her a thumbs-up while I walked back into position. “You’re doing really good, Y/N,” Alex says from beside me, “I mean, you have a great partner so that definitely helps how good you’re doing.” I rolled my eyes at her with a smile as I hit her arm, “Alright, alright. My partner is pretty good, definitely helping us kick ass. Let’s win this one so we can get training over with.” She gave me a mischievous grin and a wink as she passed me the ball, “I love you, you goof.” “I know you do!” I yell as I head down the pitch, getting past Sonny with ease thanks to my quick footwork and speed. “How are you so fucking fastttt?!” Sonny yells as she tries to keep up with me, causing me to laugh while I passed the ball to Alex. As Sonny and I moved up the pitch towards the goal, I watched Alex go 1v1 against Kelley. Kelley was trash talking as Alex tried everything to get past her, it was pretty funny if I’m being honest. Alex had a smile plastered across her face as she listened to Kelley, and it only grew when she managed to get past her after Kelley tripped over her own feet. Alex sees me open near the goal as Kelley starts catching up with her, and quickly sends a long ball towards the goal. I moved on goal as Sonny stayed right on my ass, and stretched my leg out in time for my foot to meet the ball just before it hit the pitch. I did a small turn with the ball at my feet as I stepped back, causing Sonny to overrun me just enough to give me space to shoot my shot on goal. “Fuck, you,” Sonny groaned when the ball hit the back of the net, “I just want to beat you once, just fucking once! Kelley, next time you’re on Y/N. Her footwork is fucking impossible to keep up with, but at least you can keep up with her and her long ass legs.” I laughed and patted Sonny on the shoulder as Jill called the end of training.
Alex jumped on my back while we walked back towards our stuff, “You really kicked some ass out there, Y/N. It was like these past two weeks never happened. I’m proud of you, baby.” I smiled as she kissed my cheek while I continued to carry her to the sidelines, “Thanks, babe. I was just happy to be back on the pitch. I’m really glad you were my partner today though, it was a nice change for once. Normally I’m stuck with Sonny or Lindsey and that always ends in an argument or uncontrollable laughter.” She laughed in agreement to my statement since we all know how Lindsey and Sonny can get. When we got to our bags, I set her down on the ground and sat down on the bench. “Are you okay?” I asked quietly as she sat down next to me, “I know we didn’t really talk through what happened at breakfast, and you just seemed a little distracted…” She sighed as she untied her cleats and tossed her shin guards into her bag. We sat there in awkward silence for a moment before she turned to face me. “I’m okay,” she said quietly, “The stuff that happened last night and this morning, isn’t important. Im not upset anymore, I’m fine. If for some reason I need to talk to you about what’s going on in my head, I will. I won’t put you through the same thing I did last night where you were confused and I was being possessive. I promise, baby.” I wasn’t fully convinced by what she said, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt since I love her more than words can describe. Also because I didn’t want to start an argument over something this stupid. I nodded my head and gave her a soft smile while she said, “Come on, let's go back to the hotel and change. I want to spend the rest of the day with you in Paris before we’re too busy to enjoy it.” She grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the vans with a bright smile plastered across her face, causing me to laugh with a goofy ass grin.
After we got to the hotel, we both showered and put on some comfortable clothes to walk around in. While I finished putting my hair up and looked at my outfit in the mirror, a tie-dye t-shirt with jean shorts and my favorite pair of Vans, I notice that Alex is digging through my suitcase. “And what exactly do you think you’re doing?” I asked with a small smile while crossing my arms and leaning against the wall. Alex jumped when she realized she wasn’t being as sneaky as she thought. “I’m looking for a shirt to wear,” she said with a sheepish smile, “I like how soft yours are…” I let out a small laugh because surprisingly she wasn’t the first person to say that to me. All four of my idiot best friends have all said that at least once or twice whenever they borrow my clothes, but they aren’t who I’m reminded of whenever Alex said that. That’s for another time, hopefully something I never have to address… “Y/N?” I hear Alex ask, pulling me out of the thoughts from my past, “Are you okay, baby?” I realize that she’s staring at me with a concerned look while she held two of my shirts. I moved off of the wall, stood up straight and gave her a smile as I nodded my head, “Yeah, babe. I’m fine. I was just remembering something from a long time ago…” She took a step towards me and placed her hands on my cheeks, causing me to tense up slightly. “Do you want to talk about it?” she asked softly, not taking her eyes off me. I closed my eyes and shook my head as my body relaxed. “No, Alex. We don’t need to talk about it right now, okay?” I say as I wrap my arms around her waist, “It’s just a lot to unload on you. We’ll talk about it at some point, just not now.” She sighed slightly before caressing my cheek, “Okay, Y/N. I’m always here if you need someone to talk to. I just want to help you whenever something’s bothering you. You know that, right?” I smiled down at my girlfriend while I tightened my grip around her slightly, “I know, babe. Thank you for that, seriously. I promise I’ll talk to you about it at some point.” She gave me a smirk as she nodded her head before pulling me in for a quick kiss. “I love you so much, Y/N,” she said whenever we pulled away. “I love you so much more, Al,” I say with a small grin, “And I always will, no matter what.” She leaned up and kissed my nose before giving me a smile as she pulled me towards the bed. “Okay,” she says, “Now, help me pick a shirt to wear so we can meet Kelley and Allie downstairs.” She held up two different shirts, one is a pastel purple and the other is for my favorite band. “So, we’re still sharing my clothes,” I said with a laugh as she blushed slightly, “We’ve moved on from pajamas to the rest of my wardrobe, I see. Where did you even find that one? I didn’t know I packed it.” I was pointing to the band shirt as she just smiled at me before saying, “I like your clothes. Like I said, they’re soft. Now, help meeee.” I groaned softly before picking the pastel purple, “That one will look good on you, and I won’t mind if you end up stealing it. The other one is for my favorite band and I don’t want it to end up in your suitcase.” She smiled brightly while she kissed my cheek and headed into the bathroom to finish getting ready.
After we left the hotel, we just walked around the stores nearby for an hour or so. Alex was mostly with Allie since they both enjoyed shopping way more than me and Kelley. When we found yet another store that they wanted to go in, Kelley and I opted out and said we would wait on a bench for them. Alex whined and pouted for me to go in the store with her for a few moments before she finally gave up. Since she couldn’t kiss me, like she looked like she wanted to, so she just settled with a smile and a wink before stepping in the store with Allie. “You two are pretty cute,” Kelley said after a few minutes of sitting on the bench together, “Totally and completely in love. You know, she really needed someone like you to come along and make her life fucking great. She talks about you a lot whenever you’re not around. You’ve got her whipped for sure.” “Thanks, Smalls,” I say with a soft smile and a laugh, “We make each other really happy. I really do love her, like it’s scary sometimes. But you know all about that, don’t you?” Kelley gave me a soft smile and a nod since she knew what I was referring to, as I continued, “Do you miss Casey whenever we’re at tournaments like this? I know you told us that she can’t be here for a while because of work…” Kelley’s smile faded a little as she sighed loudly. She ran her hands over her face before saying, “Yeah, Biggie Smalls. I really do… But I know she’ll be here as soon as she can. We Facetime every day before she goes to work and she calls me right before I go to bed whenever she gets off work. So, I mean that helps a little while we’re away. But, it’s not like what you and Alex have…” I looked at her with a confused look before asking, “What do you mean?” She looked around us to make sure we were still alone before turning back to me, “You get to be with her every day here, and when we go back home you’ll still see her every day. Even if you aren’t sharing a room anymore. Casey lives in D.C. while I live in Utah and Atlanta. I don’t know, it’s just hard I guess. I love her so much, Biggie Smalls…” She had a small upset look after she finished, which caused me to place my hand on her shoulder to give her a little comfort. “Kel,” I say quietly, “If you love her as much as I know you do then, hear me out here, why don’t you move to D.C. to be with her just during the off-season? I mean, if it were me, I’d move anywhere in the world just to be with Alex.” The upset look on her face was replaced with a bright smile as she pulled me in for a hug. “Thank you, Y/N,” she said when we pulled away, “I hadn’t really thought of that. I’ll have to talk to her about it, but I think that’s what I’m going to do.” I smiled at her as she continued talking excitedly, like a child, about moving to be with her girlfriend.
“You know what’s kinda funny?” She asked after a few moments. “What?” I answered, a little worried about what she could possibly say. “You and I, Biggie Smalls and Smalls,” she said while motioning between us, “Both have secret girlfriends. What a time to be alive!” She was laughing loudly, which caused me to laugh even louder as I hit her shoulder. “You’re such an idiot,” I say through my laughter. “You still love me though,” she says with a wink and a goofy grin. “This is true,” I say as I rolled my eyes, still laughing along with her. “What’s going on over here?” we hear Alex ask over our laughter a few seconds later. We continued laughing as we both turned to look at the two starting at us with multiple bags in their hands. Kelley’s eyes got wide as she kept laughing, “Oh, nothing. Just talking about our love lives, nothing special.” I hit her arm to get her to keep it down while Alex looked over at me. “Oh, really?” she asked with a small smirk as she raised an eyebrow at me, “Those love lives must be pretty funny based on how you two are acting. God help the people you two are dating.” Allie laughed along with Alex as they started walking down the street with me and Kelley following close behind. “I mean, they’re pretty great actually,” Kelley said with a grin, causing Alex and Allie to turn around, “Anyone would be lucky to date Smalls or Biggie Smalls of the United States Women’s National Team. And as far as we know, they both know how lucky they are.” She wiggled her eyebrows at Alex while I blushed at the shit she just said with my hand covering my mouth. “Don’t fall for it, Al,” Allie said with a small laugh, “She’s just trying to get under your skin.” Alex stood there and stared at Kelley for what felt like forever before a smile formed on her face, “I’m not going to argue about this with you in the middle of Paris, Kel. But if you really wanted an answer, they do know how lucky they are. Extremely lucky, in fact.” Alex glanced over at me whenever she said that last part with the smile still present on her face. Kelley hit my shoulder with a laugh as I smiled and nodded towards Alex. “Come onnn,” Allie whined a few seconds later, “I’m hungryyy.” Kelley took that as her opportunity to jump on Allie’s back while we walked towards a nearby restaurant.
Alex POV
After we ate, we were back to walking up and down the streets of Paris that weren’t too far from the hotel. Kelley was with Allie now, making videos for each other’s Instagram story, and I was hanging back with Y/N. We were walking as close to each other as we could since we can’t hold hands like we’d like to because of the public, also because she had all of my bags in her hands. Chivalry isn’t dead, just FYI. Y/N looked like she was lost in her thoughts for a moment before I nudged her shoulder, “You okay?” She looked over at me to see the same concerned look that I gave her in our room earlier. I knew something was bothering her and I wanted to help. I just don’t know how much I can help though. “I’m fine,” she said with a small smile, “Just a lot on my mind right now.” I stopped walking and grabbed her wrist. “Kelley, Allie we’ll catch up with you guys in a minute,” I said to the two in front of us, who nodded while they kept walking. Y/N watched them keep walking down the street before she turned to look at me, “What’s wrong?” I pulled her over to a nearby bench and looked into her eyes as I said, “Nothing’s wrong, at least not with me. Talk to me, Y/N. I know something’s wrong because you’re acting a little weird. Weirder than usual, actually.” She just stared at me for a moment, seeing how worried I am. Whatever was bothering her must be pretty serious since she hasn’t spoken yet. She sighed a few minutes later before saying, “It’s just that stuff I didn’t really want to talk about back in our room earlier.” “Does it have something to do with what Ali told me last night?” I asked quietly. I could see her body physically tense up and her jaw clench at my question. She took a few long, deep breaths before she looked at me again. Her eyes were stone-cold and she was giving me an Ashlyn Harris look. I must’ve set something off in her without realizing it. “What did Ali tell you?” Y/N asked quietly through gritted teeth.
I shifted in my seat as a reaction to the way she was looking at me since she’s never looked at me like this before. “All she said was that she and Ash were worried about you meeting my family,” I answered quietly, “Because you’ve had issues in the past with meeting your girlfriend’s family…” Y/N’s face didn’t change much, still stone-cold but her eyes softened a little. She took another long breath before saying, “She shouldn’t have told you that. But in any case…in the past I have had issues with my girlfriend’s family. Mostly because they didn’t want their daughter to be gay or believe that she was. One time they took it out on me instead of her, calling me names and yelling at me while she just stood there and watched…” She paused so she could compose herself, probably remembering everything that’s happened to her, and it took everything in me to not hold her hand to give her some comfort. “It’s okay, Y/N,” I said, causing her to look up at me with tears forming in her eyes, “We don’t have to keep talking about this. I’m not going to force you into talking about something that hurt you in the past that obviously upsets you.” She shook her head before saying, “No, I want to talk to you about this. You should at least know something about it… What’s been bothering me for a good part of the day is something you said in the room. It triggered a memory from my last relationship and not a good memory at that. She was great at the beginning, then I don’t know something changed. Her family didn’t approve of us dating and made that pretty clear throughout our relationship. Then near the end of our relationship, things got...messy. She would get mad about how much time I spent at training and with the team. She started being hateful towards me and said that her family was right about me. She hurt me in every way possible, mentally and emotionally. I finally had it after a few months and broke up with her. It never got physical, but it could’ve if I didn’t end it when I did. There’s more that happened after the breakup but it’s something I don’t talk about, even with Ali and Ash. I tell Kelley everything, and she doesn’t even know...” She paused again to wipe her tears away, deep in thought, while I looked at her with tears forming in my eyes.
She turned to face me and placed her hands on my shoulders, “I don’t want you to think that I don’t love your family, because I truly do. They’ve treated me so great from the moment they met me. It’s something I wasn’t used to, but it’s honestly the best thing I could ever ask for. I love them all, almost as much as I love you. I don’t want any of this to scare you away... I just have a messy past that I don’t like talking about. I’m not shutting you out when I don’t tell you these things, they’re just not important to me anymore. They don’t make me happy to think about, let alone talk about with anyone. My happiness is more important to me and you’re a source of my happiness, Alex. Please don’t leave me…” She had tears falling to her cheeks and if I’m being honest here, I was a crying mess. She looked so broken and fragile, not like the Y/N I knew. It was breaking my heart. She was right when she said this was a lot to unload, but I was mostly crying because she’s afraid I’ll leave her. I’d never do that in a million years. “I would never leave you, Y/N,” I said through my sniffling, “I fucking hate that all of that happened to you. You didn’t deserve any of that. I would never fucking hurt you the way she did, you’re perfect just the way you are. My family absolutely loves you, probably more than they love me. They would never treat you the way those other people did. If my mom knew about this, she would do everything in her power to protect you from hateful people like that. I love you more than anything. Nothing you say to me will scare me away and there’s nothing that would cause me to leave you. I’m in this for the long haul, I promise.” She smiled when I finished while she wiped my tears away and pulled me in for a quick hug. “I love you more, babe,” she whispered in my ear. “Not possible,” I whispered back as we pulled away from our hug. After a few minutes, I get a call from Kelley, “Hey, where are you guys? The team is getting ready for team bonding and dinner so… Come on, lovebirds!” I laugh while letting her know we were on our way as Y/N and I stood up from the bench and headed towards the hotel, our smiles never fading.
The Next Day- Thailand Match
Alex, wake up,” I hear my girlfriend say as I cuddled more into her, not wanting to wake up just yet, “Come on, babe. We have to get up and go downstairs before they send a search party for us. It’s game day, and you’re not going to make us late.” I groaned as I opened my eyes to see a pretty annoyed face coming from Y/N. “Well, aren’t we happy this morning?” I said, causing her to give me a small smile as she rolled her eyes, “Good morning, baby.” She leaned down and kissed my forehead before saying, “Good morning, sleepy head. And I am happy, by the way. Who gets to wake up next to Alex Morgan every day? That would be me, and that’s definitely something to be happy about. Oh, and it’s game day and I actually get to play today.” She was smiling brightly as she talked, it was adorable. I couldn’t help but let the smile on my face grow as she talked. “Now, as I was saying earlier,” she said as she flipped me over on my back and hovered over me, “It’s time to get up and go down to breakfast so we can go to the stadium.” I rolled my eyes as I said, “Okay, fine. I’m awake.” She grinned at me as I went to pull her down for a kiss. “Nope,” she said as she pulled away and hopped off the bed, leaving me with an upset look, “No kisses till you get up and get dressed so we aren’t late. No, no. Don’t pout at me, we should’ve been downstairs already.” I groaned at the fact that my pouting didn’t work this time as I got up from the bed. “You’re no fair,” I whined as I walked past her, causing her to laugh. “You still love me though,” she said quickly as I stepped into the bathroom. “Mhm, sure,” I say as I peered my head out to look at her with a smirk and a wink.
While I was in the bathroom, I hear a loud banging on the door. “Calm down, I’m coming,” Y/N says before she opened the door. “Why aren’t you at breakfast already?” I hear someone ask after the door was opened. I peered my head out of the bathroom to see Ali and Y/N bickering. “I was just about to come downstairs, I swear,” Y/N said before she realized I was listening to their conversation, “I had to make sure Alex got up since she insisted on oversleeping.” “Hey!” I said as she turned to look at me with a goofy grin, “I didn’t mean to oversleep. I’m up now and almost ready to go, but you can go down with Ali if you want to. I’ll meet you down there. Also, who almost made us late yesterday morning?” Y/N rubbed the back of her neck while she gave me an apologetic smile, knowing I had a point. Ali looked between the two of us before she started giggling. “Why are you giggling, Ali?” Y/N asked while she stood in between us with her arms crossed. Ali continued giggling as she said, “You two bicker more than me and Ash do. And you’ve only been dating for what, almost two months now? You’re like an old married couple.” Y/N groaned as she went to push Ali out of our room while I laughed. “Yeah, yeah whatever you say, mom,” she said once she finally managed to get Ali out in the hallway, “I’ll see you down there, babe. I love you.” “What? It’s cute, Y/N,” I hear Ali say from the hallway with laughter clear in her voice. I smiled at my struggling girlfriend as I said, “I’ll be down there in two minutes, I promise. I love you more, baby.” The last thing I saw before the door closed was her shining blue eyes and a beaming smile. Damn, I could get used to that. It definitely made me get ready a whole lot faster.
Y/N POV
Breakfast was uneventful since we were all talking about today’s match and how we needed to show that our team is a force to be reckoned with. Alex ended up sitting with Allie, Kelley, JJ, Crystal, and Becky since I was already at a full table. I was sandwiched between my moms while we sat with Pinoe, Christen, Tobin, and Carli. We talked more and more game tactics before we needed to get on the bus, which only continued for the entire bus ride. “I think if we start off guns blazing we should be pretty good,” Ash said while making a lot of hand gestures. Typical Ash. “Guns blazing?” Ali asked with a skeptical look, “What are you twelve? Jesus, Ash. I love you, but say it in a more grown-up way.” “When has she ever been a grown-up?” I asked with a laugh. That caused our little group to bust out laughing while Ash punches my shoulder. “Hey now,” Ash says through her laughter, “Look who’s talking? What are you like ten-years-old?” After laughing at what Ash said, our conversation fell back into game tactics with more grown-up words. When the bus came to a stop maybe 30 minutes later, Jill stood up and gave out instructions, “Okay, ladies. I want you to change into your warm-up gear and meet me and the rest of the coaches out on the pitch in the next 20 minutes. We need to get in some more drills before it’s game time. Let’s go!”
Everyone grabbed their things and rushed off the bus towards the locker room. While I’m walking next to Ash, I feel someone throw their arm around my shoulders. I pulled out my headphones and turned to see who could possibly be messing with me while I get my head in game mode. I should’ve known it was Sonny with her big ass grin. “What do you want, Emily?” I said with a smirk since I knew she didn’t like it when I called her by her first name. “First off, who is this Emily you speak of? Because last time I checked, my name is Sonny,” she said with a fake confused expression, “Second, I was just wishing you good luck. Since I’ll be watching my three very best friends kick ass today.” I smiled at her and thanked her before she ran off with Lindsey to bug Rose and Mal. After we all got changed and went out to the pitch, Jill separated us based on our positions. The warm-up only lasted maybe an hour before we were told to go back to our locker rooms to get dressed for the match. “You ready, kiddo?” Ali asked while I finished tying my cleats, “I know you’ve been out of it for the past two weeks, so it’s alright to be nervous.” I smiled up to her as I stood up, meeting her gaze. “I’m more than ready, mom,” I say with confidence, “I’m actually not nervous, for once. I feel like this match is going to be fucking amazing.” She laughed as she pulled me in for a hug. “Don’t smother the starter, babe,” Ash says as she walks up to us, “She’s got some ass to kick.” I laughed along with them as I gave Ash one of our bear hugs. “Hey, don’t smother me either!” Ash said while trying to get out of my grasp. I let go and gave her an apologetic smile as she patted the top of my head with one of her goofy grins. “Ladies,” Jill says from the doorway a moment later, “It’s time to get in the tunnel. Let’s go!” As I walked between my moms towards the door, I catch Alex’s eyes. She smiled at me, which I returned, and mouthed ‘I love you’ before she went to the front of our line. I didn’t have to answer her because she knew I loved her almost as much as she loves me. I’ll talk to her during halftime, we need to stay focused on the task at hand. While in the tunnel, all I hear is white noise while I drown out the sound of the crowd.
Our first match of the tournament, here we go.

Part II: Mystery Solved
Warnings: None
Word Count: 2,306
A/n: I know some timelines for videos etc are skewed but I just wanted to fit it into my narrative :) Also, I’m sorry it hasn’t gotten “exciting” yet, I just want to build the backstory for the characters. This will probably be a long story.
Part 1
The rest of the week went relatively as planned after the awkward moment in the gym. The boys were about to start filming a new video that would become their first series on their channel since their big announcement of not making regular weekly videos anymore. It had honestly felt like a long time coming, with all of the changes in their lives over the last year, something had to give. I was excited for them.
I was heading over to their house to start the day when my phone started ringing. I looked over at my screen to see Ethan’s name displayed.
“Hey E, what’s up?! I’m just on my way over now, sorry I’m a little late, I stopped to grab you guys some coffee and traffic is horrible”
“Oh, yeah no problem, we aren’t even home so no big deal” Ethan replied
“Okay, well where are you goons this early in the morning?” I joked
“We are actually just leaving the Mercedes dealership, so we might be getting back the same time you get there”
“Oh Lord, do I even want to know what you guys were doing at a car dealership?” I asked him sarcastically
“You’ll see Y/N, you’ll see. Just do us a favor and stay out of the driveway, we want to get some drone shots of us coming up the property”
“Alright, I can do that. I’ll just head in when I get there then” I nodded my head in agreement as if they could see me.
“Okay peace out Bro,” Ethan said
“Bye Dude,” I said as I hung up.
We always referred to each other as whatever came to mind at that moment. It had become a game to us honestly. I didn’t really care what they called me, they always meant it in a fun way.
________________
I was waiting just inside the glass front door as I saw Kyle pull up the driveway, park his car off to the side and hop out with the drone in hand ready to go. I knew this was going to be an interesting surprise.
Suddenly a big gray bus thing came rolling up the driveway while Kyle captured it on the drone overhead. These nerds bought a freaking cargo van, what the hell are they going to do with a cargo van?!
They finished filming and I stepped outside to try to figure out what the heck they were going to do with a cargo van.
“Uh, E? What the hell is that?”
“This?! You mean this beauty right here?! Well, Y/N she is about to become our little home on wheels!” Ethan said as he patted his hand on the exterior of the van beaming with excitement.
“Your WHAT?” I asked back unsure if I heard what he said
“Yeah, we’re going to turn it into a tiny home and drive it across the country,” Grayson said stepping out from the cargo area.
I felt my face flush. Again. This hadn’t happened all week since that weird interaction in the gym. This time I know Grayson hadn’t noticed because he had said that while turning to face the van after stepping out.  But much to my luck I found Ethan staring right at me with a shit-eating grin plastered across his face.  I shook off the embarrassment and continued to look around this new venture they had just driven up the driveway.
“You two can’t even get along in a 2,000 sq ft house, but you think you’re going to survive in a 100 sq ft van for a week?!” I asked sarcastically
“Eh, you’re coming along, so you can keep us straight” Grayson mentioned from the other side of the van
“I’m WHAT?!” I couldn’t help but raise my voice at this sudden news
They both just laughed, they knew I wasn’t going to be thrilled at the idea of spending a week in this tiny van with no bathroom with the twins and Kyle, but they knew damn well I was going to do it anyway. I was always down for their crazy adventures, even if the situation seemed iffy.
________________
A few hours had passed and Ethan and I were sitting out on the back deck in loungers making the most of the late afternoon sun when the back slider door opened and out came Grayson eyes glued to his phone screen.
“Hey, do you guys want to have a fire tonight? We can invite some of the crew over or something, maybe order some vegan pizza” He asked
“Yeah, Bro I like that idea, Y/N are you staying?” Ethan replied looking from Grayson over at me waiting for my response
“Yeah I’m in, but no vegan pizza for me. I want an extra cheese pizza, with bacon” I replied with the biggest grin I could muster, laying back in my chair folding my hands behind my head. I loved busting these two with their vegan diets. Don’t get me wrong, I had nothing against veganism, but I swear they thought if they didn’t mention it every 3 seconds their fans would forget.
Ethan faked a gagging noise while Grayson just chuckled and sat down at the end of the lounger I was sitting on.
“Put your knees up Y/N” he requested.
I did what he asked although I wasn’t sure what he was trying to do.
He leaned back against my knees and aimed his face up towards the sun.
“If you two are going to hog the loungers, I’ll just make my own” he laughed to himself while grabbing my ankles from behind him and tickling his fingers up my calves.
I giggled and squirmed at his gesture, all the while trying to support his weight on my legs. I don’t think this man knows he’s significantly larger than me, nor do I think he cares.
I glanced over to see Ethan, head tilted towards the sky, silently laughing to himself. It always felt like he knew something neither one of us did.
________________ As the night approached, Grayson was out in the backyard starting the fire in the pit while Ethan and I were trying to decide what to order for pizza. The crew had all texted that they were on their way, so time was of the essence.
“Hey Y/N I’m going to go grab a hoodie, do you want one? I know you get cold whenever we do these kinds of things” Ethan asked
“Yes, please! Preferably not the gross one you work out in all the time” I replied sarcastically.
“Hey! I’ll have you know my sweat smells like perfection, I’d bottle that shit up and sell it if I could” He laughed as I grimaced.
“Right, and I suppose you sparkle instead of sweat, Edward Cullen” I laughed.
“Hey if you play your cards right, I can show you how hard my bite is” he threw back at me as he walked down the hall.
What a goof, I laughed to myself. That was one of my favorite things about Ethan. We could banter, play flirt, and it never made anything weird. He just got me. He knew I was a sarcastic asshole and he gave it right back to me. There were things Ethan and I shared that I didn’t share with Grayson. It wasn’t on purpose, I just felt like we were closer than Grayson and I sometimes.
________________
After stuffing our faces with pizza, the twins sharing a vegan pineapple pizza while the crew mostly enjoyed sharing my non-vegan bacon one, we all sat around the fire laughing and just hanging out.
“Oh! I almost forgot! I have a surprise for everyone” I remembered suddenly as I stood up and headed back into the house.
I glanced over my shoulder as I was closing the door to see them all staring at me confused. I loved confusing a group full of boys, they made it so easy.
I gathered what I needed from inside in a little basket and started to open the back door to head out when I caught the end of a conversation they were having amongst themselves.
“Dude you have to tell her, it’s not really fair to do that to her” Ethan was saying, facing Grayson
Grayson had noticed I was heading back out and nodded his head in my direction so Ethan would know to shut up.
I wasn’t sure what they had been talking about, or who she was, but I had put that into the back of my mind for a minute as I headed towards the group
“First I’d like you all to tell me you love me” I started
They all groaned as they sarcastically pledged their love for me
“I bought you jerks stuff to make SMORES!” I exclaimed.
They all cheered as Ethan give me the biggest smirk
“Well that’s so nice Y/N but we can’t have…” he started
“I even bought vegan marshmallows and chocolate for you two dorks” I cut him off pulling the bag of vegan marshmallows out of the basket.
Ethan jumped up, gave me a peck on the cheek and ripped into the bag of marshmallows handing out roasting sticks to everyone.
I sat back in my chair and watched a group of grown-ass men roast marshmallows like children and I smiled. This was the life.
________________
A while later, I was sitting with my knees curled up to my chest with Ethan’s hoodie I was wearing pulled over them, and my hood pulled up over my head. The guys were talking shop when Grayson got up suddenly, phone in hand and headed towards the door. Ethan shot me a look that had what I swear was sympathy wrapped around it. I returned his look with a slightly furrowed brow of confusion until I heard it.
The back door slid open and I heard a high pitched voice, one that certainly wasn’t Grayson or any of the guys in the crew. I turned my glance from Ethan’s face towards the back door and my heart sunk.
Grayson walked out hand in hand with easily the most beautiful blonde I had maybe ever seen. She stood shoulder height to him, certainly taller than me, if you turned her sideways she might disappear from how thin she was, and her smile lit up even the darkness outside. I moved my glance from her to their joined hands and back again.
“Guys I want you to meet my girlfriend, Alyana,” Grayson said
I was seeing his mouth move, but I wasn’t sure I heard what he said. Girlfriend? Since when does Grayson have a girlfriend? Wait, why do I care? I don’t care. No, I absolutely do not care, I’m their friend, their assistant, nothing more.
The tall blonde gave a polite smile and wave to everyone and the guys all returned the gesture. I looked back at Ethan who was staring through me. I uncurled my legs, took my hood off and walked towards the loving couple. I extended my hand towards her “Hi, I’m Y/N, the twins assistant. Nice to meet you” I said trying my best to sound unshaken. She shook my hand smiling “Oh! I’ve heard so much about you! Gray says you’re the best cook, you’ll have to show me your tricks so I can make this guy his favorites!” She said placing her hand on Grayson’s chest. I fixated on her hand for a moment, looked up at Grayson, nodded in agreement and then excused myself to go inside.
Did I really agree? No. But she seemed way too nice to hate. Hell, I hated her for BEING so nice. No one is that nice. But of course, leave it to Grayson to find the needle in the haystack of fake LA bitches.
I was rustling through my bag in the living room when I heard the back door open.
“Y/N? Where are you?” A voice called out.
I didn’t answer. I didn’t want to talk right now. I still honestly had no idea why I felt upset. I had made it clear to Ethan that I had no feelings for Grayson, yet here I was with a green eye of envy shining brightly on my forehead.
“Hey there you are, what are you doing in here?” Ethan said, placing his hand on my shoulder.
My shoulder shrugged beneath his hand as I stopped rummaging through my bag, finding what I was after. I looked up at him with a sense of sorrow in my eyes. I didn’t want to show him I was upset, I always wanted to be the strong one for them, but I couldn’t help it. Ethan pulled me into a hug and rested his head on top of mine.
“I’m so sorry Y/N, I didn’t know either until tonight. It’s kind of weird he never even told me until now” Ethan spoke into my hair. I just stayed silent in his embrace listening to his steady heartbeat, letting it calm me for a moment.
After a minute I remembered what I was looking in my wallet for and stepped back from Ethan
“You won E, fair and square. Please tell the boys I’m not feeling well and I needed to head out” I said as I shoved something into his chest and his hands came up to grab it.
I grabbed my bag and headed towards the door while Ethan opened his hands to find the money we had jokingly bet on about Graysons phone mystery
“Y/N…” Ethan started but trailed off as I closed the door behind me and headed for my car.

Two concerts. First rows. An afterparty and a meet and greet.
Aka the two best days of my entire life. My hands are still shaking, so pls ignore typos.
Okay, so, Bára/ @followthecreeper , Lucy/ @beauty-at-matrix, our friend Terka and Anna/ @062467 (who joined us to the first rows) and I attended the two concerts in Prague. I’m gonna write down everything I can and the girls are encouraged to add just as much they can. ♡♡♡
The First Concert
The first day we got to the arena at 8am and our waiting began. We managed to be right behind a couple so we were among the first people there – the waiting was annoying but so much worth it. When the gates finally opened we sprinted down into the venue and managed to get a spot in the first row right in front of Paul. (We risked by going to a different entrance than we had on the tickets, thankfully, all went well.) Then came a couple of more hours of waiting and the duo Jatekok started to play. Not your usual choice of a support but I rather liked it. Also during the waiting one of the security guys came to us, asked us how are we doing and then he opened his hand and had a number of Richard’s pick in it. They were gone in a matter of seconds lol – Lucy managed to get one, I had one gripped but a dude was stronger than me. The last ten minutes were the longest minutes in my entire life – though what came after them was the most beautiful thing ever.
Rammstein started playing at 19:40 – Schneider’s intro really knocked the air out of you and as each member started to walk out onto the stage, the madness began. I wanted to cry when I finally saw them all right in front of me and when Paul walked to our side and IMMEDIATELY started looking into the audience, we lost our shit. @babypaulchen was right, the man keeps staring at you, keeps smiling at you and plays with you the entire time! We could see he really loved when we started to headbang and our hair went flying everywhere – I can remember how he was looking at me, smiling, and then he started to headbang too, encouraging us to be crazy.
Tumblr media
I think that somewhere in the beginning of the concert Till came to our side and sung right in front of us. Then the motherfucker looked at me and mimicked at me that I should take my shirt off and show him my tits. I just raised the crop top so my bra was visible but that was not enough for him and he kept raising his hands up, so I would take the bra off too. With so many people around I was too shy to do that so I just laughed and shook my head, screaming NO! at him. He pretended to be offended, waved his hand in dismiss and returned to the center. Later in the song he came back and did the leg thingy where he threw his leg onto the railing and kept singing.
Paul kept running from one place to another, being the sweetheart that he is, he even climbed behind Schneider to play with him and then kissed his forehead. My heart melted. And every time he was on his side he kept looking down, seeing us party down there and laughing so much. I never really could hold his gaze longer than for a couple of seconds, It just felt like you’re suddenly the only person it there. He also went down to the fence and signed a couple of things, then he touched our hands as he walked by. The same thing went with Till when he was kicked down during Mein Teil and he walked by us in all his butcher glory.
During Links one of the main security guys was walking down the row, stopped right in front of me and just offered me the Afterparty bracelet. I couldn’t believe my eyes as he strapped the band around my hand and told me where to go after the concert. Fucking speechless. He then continued into the middle, picking up some other random people as well. I also saw Joe so I waved at him, hen noticed me and winked back lol.
During the concert you could really see how much fun the guys were having, laughing all the time, goofing around, running around and enjoying the energy coming from the audience. The entire stadium flawlessly sung Du hast and Sonne, it really chilled us to the bones, hearing so many people sing in unison. And the same thing can be said about Engel – while the guys were moving to the B stage, the camera was pointed at the audience and guess who had her face shown to the entire arena – I diiiiiiid. They took shots of all different people and before you knew it, the sign to use your phone’s light appeared and everyone was singing their heart out. Really magical. The guys then returned on their boats and our partying with Paul continued. We were doing the fucking Macarena in front of Paul, making him laugh.
Also holy shit I think it was during Du hast Paul stood in front of us, hand nothing to do so he started FLOSSING. You know, that weird-ass dance. Or rather attempted it and then frowned, waved his hand in dismiss and then continued to dance his own little dances.
Tumblr media
Rammstein and Ich Will took our breaths away, especially when Till spoke in Czech – ruce nahoru! – and the arena went nuts. A beautiful ending, Till once again used his Czech, charmed us with his thank yous and the guys disappeared into the tower. Also, I almost caught Schneider’s stick, he noticed my screaming and jumping and threw it my way, but a dude next to me had longer hands. Oh well. That was not the end of the day for me. I once again asked one of the security guys where to go, said goodbyes to the girls and went my own way to the Afterparty.
The Afterparty
There was quite a number of us people and even before the stadium emptied, we were ushered into a room with red lights, a bar, a DJ set and couches and chairs by the walls. I was feeling kinda weird as I didn’t know anybody in there so I just shuffled to the first group that was speaking Czech. Luckily, I befriended a girl, Camie, who was also in the Afterparty for the first time and as I found out, loves Paul just as much I do. We got some mojitos, the barman was happy to hear Czech lol, and we kinda stood there together talking about the concert – in like half an hour Paul was the first one to come out of doors that were curtained and lead to their dressing rooms. It was discouraged to follow them around, you were supposed to enjoy the free booze, the music and if you were lucky enough, one of the guys would start to chat with you. So Paul moved from one place to another, greeting people and talking to them. Then came Schneider and spend some time talking by the dressing room doors, talking to one of the girls I chatted with too.
Tumblr media
LOL
While that happened we saw Flake emerge together with Ollie and holy shit, even when they’re both really tall, it’s so easy to overlook them. I think that Ollie immediately went back to the hotel while Flake hanged around for a bit and then also kinda disappeared. We were both freaking out, because holy shit, they’re suddenly so freaking close asjdhhkjasbdkjsad. Till then walked out as well and together with his body guard made a beeline to the exit. He looked like a fucking mob boss, in a dress shirt, suit and a cap. I think he had kinda different plans, as I saw somewhere a pic with him and couple of girls, that were supposedly pole dancers. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
And then the diva walked out. Richard was basically wearing the same clothes he was wearing during the Berlin aftershow, where he was dancing with Khira. He got immediately swarmed by girls, either asking for a signature or for a hug (pics weren’t allowed). We used the situation as well and joined the group, waiting for our turn. Richard was so kind, he was smiling the entire time, laughing, and generally being really friendly. When I asked him for a hug he was like “Sure! :D” and laughed and his hug was so warm and my heart melted. He was also so much smaller than I expected. It might have been also because I was still wearing my steel boots while he had his worn out pair of converse shoes lol. Nonetheless, he was really charming and welcoming.
We then moved in front of the DJ set, with new drinks and danced for a bit – Joe was mixing the songs and it was all really good, he played anything from Depeche Mode and Joan Jett to Billie Eilish and Britney Spears. (I wanted to make a short vid of us dancing later but Joe immediately told me not to do that and wanted me to delete the vid lmao, which I did. I just found it hilarious that we were dancing to Dschinghis Khan’s Moskau jsahajsfka).
We then took a break for a while and discovered that Paul was just next to us, talking to some people. We joined the circle and me and Camie took a vid of us hugging Paul. I talked to him for a bit, thanked him for the show, telling him how much I enjoyed it and that it couldn’t have been better. He smiled that adorable smile of his and offered me his hand so I took it and before I knew what’s going on he raised it and kissed it. Then he hugged me and thanked me as well. He is also so so tiny ksjaflshfkskfa. And because Paul’s attention span is non-existent, he was already turning to other people to talk to them. We were both freaking out, Camie shook me by my shoulders in joy, not realizing she was pushing me accidentally into Schneider’s back. We then went for more drinks, the poor barman was almost out of alcohol, so he tried to mix up anything drinkable lol.
(we weren’t allowed to take any pics but Camie managed to make a sneaky video, bless her - PLS DO NOT STEAL THE GIF, DO NOT REPOST IT)
Tumblr media
We talked for a bit, saw Richard hanging by the doors into the arena – if someone wanted to smoke they had to go out, it made sense he’s going to be there. I told Camie that I’d like to talk to him but before I could come with anything sensible she was already pushing me towards him. We stopped by him and I just started to babble about how I like his work, that especially the last Emigrate album was great. He put his hand onto his heart and kept thanking me, doing these tiny bows and looking absolutely adorable/hot. I also mentioned that Brig was at the 1,2,3,4 video shoot and that it was really great and he just kept smiling, thanking and being happy in general. Then other people came to talk to him so we left them alone, going to relax a bit.
We could see that only Paul and Richard remained, although more and more people were dancing. We joined them and danced our hearts out, loving every song that Joe played. Not soon after Paul got up from the couches and joined the dancing group, dancing there with us. It was so surreal – he was dancing right next to me, being his little energetic self and also trying not to spill his wine. We kept dancing there for some time and Paul then slowly moved through the groups, dancing around till we lost sight of him.
I had to check if there were any trams going back to my flat as it was already after midnight. We danced for a bit longer but some drunk guy was trying to get our numbers and kept inviting us to him so we tried to distance ourselves. We also discovered that Paul had already left as there were not so many people – there could have been like 70(?) of us, now probably not even half. Richard was still there, though he was again talking to some girls. I was already getting tired and didn’t want to wait for another hour for the trams so in a hurry I said goodbye to Camie, looked around for the last time and left the afterparty. And because I was an idiot (and drunk) I fucked up my night trams and in the middle of nowhere, with dead phone I had to go to the nearest opened pub and asked for a taxi. I returned home around 2am and barely had any strength left.
The Second Concert and the Meet and Greet
Since I had the meet and greet event I did not have to wake up early – Bára left in the morning to wait with the rest of the girls again for the first row and I had a chance to sleep in till 4pm and get rid of the hangover. I asked the girls to write down everything that happened in the first row again, because apparently, it was wilder than the first time – just seeing Bára “pick her nose” in the gigantic screen while Lucy was facepalming made me laugh so hard. They returned with with drumsticks and a pink hat signed by Paul. And supposedly simulated sex with glow sticks during Pussy, making Paul lose his shit.
The Meet And Greet
(I will upload my pics on a separate post :) )
For a month or so I was in a group chat with the other people that were also attending the M&G and we agreed to meet a bit earlier to finally meet each other. I wanted to stop at the merch-truck but the queue was so fucking long I left it be (I just hope they’ll put the shirts into the rammshop like they did last time). We all met, chatted for a bit – there were people from all over Europe – from Germany, Poland, Sweden, Holland, Italy, Russia – I was actually the only Czech there lol.
We were picked up around 18:50 by the guy who was responsible for us, he checked our IDs and then took us through the VIP zone down the stairs to the same room where the afterparty was the day before. We had to wait for a bit as there were some other guest meeting the guys who were then escorted up the stairs. Thee guys apparently received Gold for the 7th album. Also one of the guys that was taking care of us told us that one of the grannies living nearby the arena called the fire department, thinking it was on fire lmao.
Anyway, after like ten minutes, we were let in and stood in a row against the wall where a couple of hours before I was dancing my head off. There was a woman that was telling us how it’s all going to happen, that the members will have pens, will sign one item and can take a pic. She couldn’t even finish her sentence and Richard already walked in, in his full stage outfit, took some pens from her and moved to one side of the line. She said something like “Ah, here is the first one.” And Richard, nonchalantly replied “I’m always the first one.” while beginning to sign stuff. What an experience. It got a bit chaotic then because the rest of the guys suddenly appeared too and stared signing stuff from the other side.
Tumblr media
Before Richard could get to me, Oliver singed all of our stuff and apologized that he’s not taking any pics today as he is in hurry. I did not understand at first but then I realized he was the only one who was not in a stage outfit and they were supposed to play in like a half an hour. Then came Richard, now much taller with his boots and signed my album. Joe was again with him and because I did not really want to have selfies with the guys I asked him to take the pic. He did, just as he did it to other people as well.
Then came Flake in his glorious golden outfit, smiling and being friendly. A girl on my left complimented his outfit, pointing to her silver top, telling he inspired her. It was so cute seeing him thanking her and complimenting her outfit just as well. I greeted him, thanked him for the show, took a picture with and wanted to also thank him for all the books he wrote, though there was already a queue forming – Schneider was right behind him, so he had to move forward.
Tumblr media
Let me tell you, Schneider is such a sweetheart. While he was getting ready to sing my stuff I told him how I started drumming because of him and how it helped me to deal with stuff and he immediately started grinning and going “Aawww, thank you so much, that is wonderful!” and was smiling like an idiot, just as me. There was nobody free to take a picture so with him I took a selfie – even when I tried to stay cool my hands were shaking a bit and he was patient enough to take a proper pic. Than he thanked me once again and moved forward.
PAUL. Paul, baby, I love you so much. Again a very cheery Hi! And that wonderful smile of his. When he was about to sign the album I asked him if he could draw that smiley face he does and he laughed and said “Sure!” and drew the prettiest self-portrait ever. It was so surreal to watch him draw it, focusing hard on it to make it perfect. He did a couple of re-touches until he was satisfied with it and then proudly smiled as he observed his creation. I asked the girl next to me for a pic. Her hands were shaking quite a bit so when she took the pictures, Paul was concerned with the results. “Are the pictures okay?” He asked as he looked down into my phone. “Are they blurry?” So we checked them together and they were fine; again, he was so happy with the result. Meanwhile Till was going from the other side of the line so Paul was stuck next to me so he turned to me and smiled – he pointed to my red crop top and told me: “Oh, we match!” he had the red beanie and red boots on and in that second I died inside. “We both have red!” he said happily and then slowly moved to the girl next to me. The last thing he did was that he looked at me and asked “Alles okay?” I just managed to laugh and told him that “Ja, just perfect.”
Tumblr media
He then spent some time with the girl next to me, looking at the pictures she had brought for signing – he was amazed by the quality and took his time looking over them, looking at each individually. He even called Till over to look at them. That’s where I internally cried as my almost non-existent German did not help me. What I could understand was that Till looked at it, telling him that those were pictures from Instagram. Paul asked him where from and they both started discussing the pics and Instagram. It was adorable – Paul was in awe while Till just shrugged and continued signing, taking pictures. Paul signed the main picture she had and then she quickly showed Paul a picture of him, where he was striking a pose with his guitar leaning back. He was overjoyed and immediately copied the pose, leaning back, doing the same pose. He then laughed and signed some pictures and moved on.
Till was the last one to come, he quickly signed my stuff and I let the guy next to me take the picture. I can’t describe the feeling when he put his gigantic paw around me – he really is a bear turned into a human. I also loved how nonchalant he was about the whole M&G. He then moved to the guy next to me and signed his stuff and I was supposed to take the pic. Except I put my phone down onto the ground next to my things and expected him to hand me his phone. “No, take it with yours, it’s better!” so I bent down for it and heard Till laugh and say “Too late!” and moved to the next person. He was of course just joking and when I was ready with the phone he returned and I took the picture.

In another minute or two it was all over, Schneider and Paul told us to enjoy the show, smiled and then again disappeared into the dressing rooms. Us people with the standing tickets were escorted out into the arena and I had a pleasant surprise – on the other side of the doors stood Ulrike, in her beautiful black dress. Holy shit she’s really tall. I wanted to compliment her dress though she was busy herding their sons, it was hilarious. We passed, let her inside and went to find a good spot.
The Second Concert
I stayed with the guy who was next to me during the M&G, nicknamed Probo, who was from Italy. He told me he managed to not spoil himself the concert so it was really precious watching his reactions. We stayed near the B stage, meaning we had a beautiful view of the entire stage and the fire show. It was also nice to see the guys singing Engel and encouraging the crowd to sing as well. Especially Paul did jsahjsfkuftjhchd. Then we had a wonderful view of the guys on the boats – Schneider and Paul tried to stand up but fell down to their knees in a moment while laughing like maniacs. We enjoyed the rest of the show, danced and sung with the crowd. Last nice surprise was that People sang Sonne while the piano version was in the background as the guys kneeled.
Tumblr media
Oh and when there was the camera from the backstage, filming the guys as they’re getting into the elevator, there was nobody to give Richard a cigarette, so he just stood in front of the camera, opened his mouth and kept pointing his finger into it till somebody finally came to him and put the cigarette right into his mouth. That was really… something.
Anyways, this is all from me and I hope @followthecreeper, @beauty-at-matrix, and @062467 will add their stories from the first row.
Best two days of my entire life. ♡♡♡

TJ’s Playlist Chapter 3
Story Summary: When Cyrus finds a playlist on TJ’s desktop full of old love songs, he realizes that TJ has never been a scary basketball guy but rather a huge sap. TJ just wished Cyrus could realize that all of those songs remind him of a certain boy who likes chocolate chocolate chip muffins without telling him directly.
With insecurities and fears almost set in stone, it’s hard for TJ to admit that he has a heart aching crush on Cyrus who is trying to avoid just that. Of course, it doesn’t seem like both of them are trying to get over each other when they’re always together.

Cyrus nervously walked inside his house, his mom and stepdad waiting in the sitting room. “H-ey, guys,” Cyrus gave them a little wave, his voice cracking.
“Where were you,” his mom asked, running up to him to give him a hug.
“Around the block at a friend’s house,” Cyrus said, hugging his mom back. “I’m so sorry I forgot to text. We watched a movie and fell asleep. I understand if I’m in trouble. I deserve to get in trouble.” His mom pulled away from the hug, but still had a firm grip on his shoulders.
She sighed and told him with a small smile, “You’re not in trouble. You just forgot to text me. I trust you.”
“Oh thank goodness,” Cyrus sighed in relief. “I was really scared for a moment.”
His mom let out a small laugh, “Just don’t let it happen again.” Cyrus nodded. “Also, call your friends. I think Buffy is more worried than I am. Dinner is in the microwave. We ate without you, sorry.” Cyrus gave her another hug before walking into the kitchen to get his dinner. When he sat down at the table, he made sure to text TJ before he got his ear blown off by Buffy and forgot.
Cyrus: Made it home alive and I’m not grounded!!
TJ: sounds good underdog
TJ: sorry I forgot to feed you
TJ: I was thinking of ordering a pizza when I fell asleep
Cyrus: don’t worry about it. Since I didn’t get grounded, I’m allowed to eat dinner.
Cyrus: don’t take that seriously
TJ: lol I won’t.
TJ: you forgot your polaroid ☹ I’ll take it to you Monday at school okay?
Cyrus: Just realized that :o Ty!!
TJ: yeah of course. It’s nothing. After all, you risked going blind for those photos :P
Cyrus: I can’t believe you really put my eye sight at risk for some photos
TJ: hey, you’re the one that wanted to be on my ceiling. I hung up the photo I’m keeping already. Oh by the way, Amber wanted me to send you this [img]
It was a picture of TJ and Cyrus sleeping on the couch earlier. TJ was slumped over, his head resting between Cyrus’ shoulder and head. They both had small content smiles on their faces. It was a peaceful picture. As Cyrus stared at the picture for a moment too long, his phone started ringing. It was Buffy asking to merge him in a video call. “Oh man,” Cyrus mumbled. He hesitated but answered anyways, already flinching before Buffy had a chance to say anything.
“Hey answered!” he heard Andi say in delight. “Finally.”
“Hey, guys,” Cyrus smiled, waving his spoon in front of the screen.
“Hey guys?” Buffy scoffed. “We’ve been worried sick! I thought TJ had gotten you killed or something.”
“You’re being dramatic, Buffy,” Cyrus laughed. “I just hung out at his place and forgot to tell my mom. Nothing bad.”
“Then why didn’t you answer?” Buffy frowned. “Were you ignoring us?” Cyrus felt guilty now. He didn’t realize there was still some negative tension left between TJ and Buffy. He knew it was that because Andi seemed to be fine. Buffy was the one that if given the word, she’d put a stake through TJ’s heart for Cyrus without hesitation.
“No, no,” Cyrus quickly shook his head. “I swear I wasn’t. We fell asleep watching Hotel Transylvania.”
“Hotel Transylvania?” Andi giggled. “That wasn’t too scary for you?” Cyrus smirked and shook his head.
“I’m still really sorry, though,” Cyrus told them with an apologetic expression. Buffy’s angry expression fell off her face, turning into a solemn one. “I didn’t mean to worry you guys.”
“Okay,” Buffy finally told him after a pause. “But do it again, and I’ll put you both in a casket.” She ended up letting out a snort, “I can’t believe you went to TJ Kippen’s house.”
Cyrus thought about it for a second and said, “Me either. I think I’m getting somewhere with our ‘The Kippen’s are Vampires’ theory. Their decoration? Completely gothic.”
“Maybe his parents were total goth kids in school and never grew out of it,” Andi laughed. “Bowie and Bex seem to still have punk rock in their veins.”
“Probably,” Buffy said, “or they’re vampires. I’d say let’s put a stake through Amber’s heart to see if she’ll turn into a bat, but she’s grown on me.”
“Putting a steak through her heart would kill her,” Andi smiled and shook her head. “Just ask her if you can have a glass of blood next time we’re at The Spoon.”
“We’re too mean, guys,” Cyrus shook his head, not once his smile falling off. He was eating, talking to his friends in their secluded trio, and his heart was still a fluttering mess.
“Too mean? To the Kippens?” Buffy let out a fake laugh. “Wow. Amber Kippen. I really thought she was going to be Amber Fubergoobeld’schnoppert to me my whole life.”
“You can’t deny that they’ve changed a lot,” Andi told them. She stayed silent for a bit before saying, “Amber apologized to me. Like. Fully. I was past it, but it made me feel a lot better.”
“That’s really good,” Cyrus smiled widely. “She’s the reason we woke up in the first place. I might still be over there if she hadn’t gotten home.”
“Wasn’t it their dad’s birthday?” Andi asked him. Cyrus paused. He had forgotten about that.
“Well his parents weren’t there,” Cyrus told them, getting an itch to ask TJ.
“I can’t believe you were left unsupervised with a vampire,” Buffy shook her head, not realizing that there was something bothering the two.
“Well,” Cyrus went along, “it would’ve been me and three vampires, so it wouldn’t have had made the situation any better if we’re being completely honest.” Andi knew something Cyrus didn’t, and it looked obvious. He wished he could make direct eye contact with her to get her to spill, but if it involved Amber, Cyrus had a feeling it was private. Amber had a lot of secrets and in their short-lived friendship, who knew how much Andi had learned. Cyrus took an initiative and said, “I’m going to text TJ real fast. Remember I can still hear you!”
Cyrus went off screen from the video chat and went to text TJ. He couldn’t help but smile big when he caught sight of the photo he had last sent. “Your camera is still on!” Buffy chided. “What are you smiling at like a big goof?”
“I’ll send it right now,” Cyrus lied. He made a quick wish for them to forget about it before go back to the video call app to turn off his camera. He opened his texts with TJ once more and blocked out Buffy and Andi’s side conversation as he tried to think of something to say.
Cyrus: wow we look good
Cyrus: anyways did you guys do anything for your dad’s birthday??
TJ: I probably wont see him until tomorrow if I’m being honest. I just found out my mom is staying in for another shift, so it’s just Amber, Macaroni, and I for another night.
Cyrus: Macaroni???!
TJ: we have a cat. Kind of does his own thing in the streets but always comes back at night. He doesn’t like me very much so he only likes to be inside when Amber is here. I think he knows who pays for the food and who forgets to fill up his water bowl.
Cyrus: I can’t believe you hid a whole cat from me
TJ: I hid my whole ass sister from you and you’re mad about the cat gkjsfghjksdfgh
Cyrus: my feelings are hurt!!
“You still there, Cy?” Andi asked. Cyrus switched back to look at them and turned on his camera.
“Hey, hello,” he waved his fingers. “I’ve done some investigating, and they will not be celebrating TJ’s dad’s birthday. It’s just him, Amber, and their cat Macaroni for the night. I don’t know what to do with this information now.”
“Me either,” Andi frowned.
“Amber didn’t seem that bummed out from it,” Buffy commented. “TJ was the one that looked a little weird when she said it beat her ass.”
Cyrus gasped, “Buffy don’t cuss.” Buffy gave her camera a look that told her she was holding back a “fuck you”, but she just turned it into a playful eyeroll.
“Anyways, I’m sure the vamps are fine,” Buffy reassured them. Cyrus and Andi agreed before Buffy smirked, “So Cyrus. What were you smiling at?”
“Shit,” Cyrus whispered.
-
TJ once again woke up at 2AM, but not at his own accord. Amber was shaking him. He felt something small crawl across his legs above the blankets heard Amber whispering. “Why do you whisper when you’re trying to wake me up,” TJ groaned, rubbing his eyes. “What time is it?”
“Two,” Amber said, still whispering. “Can I sleep with you? Mom is on the phone with dad.”
“She’s home?” TJ sat up. He scooted towards the wall to make room for Amber to sit down.
“She’s been home,” Amber said as she crawled into the bed. She held her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on top of them. “I think she got in trouble at work.”
“Oh shit,” TJ frowned. “That’s not good.”
“That’s not good at all,” Amber started crying. TJ put an arm around her as her tears got into a flow. TJ tended to ignore everything that went on with their parents, but Amber was the one that paid attention to it all. She was their messenger when the fights were horrendous, and she was the one that got lashed on for trying to get them to stop. TJ didn’t try anything because one, Amber wouldn’t let him. Two, he was a coward. He would just plug in his earbuds and close his eyes until he was asleep. “What are we going to do?” she sobbed.
“We’ll be okay,” TJ assured her. “We have what GG left me if anything.”
“No,” Amber pulled away and shook her head. She started wiping her tears. She hated it when TJ saw her cry. “That’s your money for college.”
“I can’t go to college,” TJ told her. “I’m stupid.”
“No, you’re not, TJ,” Amber lightly tugged his ears. “You’re so so smart. Just because you don’t know how to do equations, it doesn’t mean you don’t know who the thirteenth president of the United States is.” TJ bit his lip.
“If she gets fired-,” TJ started but Amber nudged him in the stomach, making him jump back a little.
“I don’t think she got fired. She probably just won’t get overtime anymore. But still. Dad needs to land a job. Quick,” she told him, shifting to hug her knees again.
“Do you think we’ll have to move towns?” TJ asked her. He had been afraid of that since their dad said he had to look at places out of Shadyside. He had had three interviews so far.
“Maybe,” Amber mumbled. “I don’t know. I don’t want to.”
“Me either,” TJ told her, looking up at his ceiling. He couldn’t see the picture, but he was staring right at the spot where he had his polaroid with Cyrus. He couldn’t leave now.
“Well,” Amber sighed and laid down, “night.”
“Night,” TJ mumbled. He didn’t lay down though. He stayed sitting up, occasionally petting Macaroni who hated it when Amber moved. He would let out little mews and rub his head into TJ’s hand until he fell asleep again. Amber was a crazy sleeper and often gave TJ bruises on his legs when she stayed in his bed. It wasn’t too often, but when it did happen, he felt like they got closer. It was why he couldn’t get mad at her or pick on her like he used to. They had enough going on. TJ laid down, but he couldn’t get his eyes closed. He stared at the spot with the polaroid, songs stuck in his head until he eventually was able to make out Cyrus’ smile as the sunshine poured in through the windows.
He smiled back at it and fell asleep.
It was twelve in the afternoon when he woke up alone in bed. Amber and Macaroni were gone. The sun from the blinds was hitting him directly which meant that Amber had opened them for him. He liked basking in the sun. It felt warm and safe as if sunshine could never hurt him.
He rolled over and reached for his phone. He had gotten a message from Cyrus at 9AM, saying good morning with the sunshine emoji. TJ smiled at it and opened it.
TJ: Good morning underdog. I slept late today
Cyrus: I understand. You deserve it!
TJ: That’s sweet of you to say
Cyrus: what are the plans for today?
TJ: I have work at 2 today so that’s going to be fun. u can drop by if you want
Cyrus: I think I’m hanging out with Jonah and Andi today around that time but if I manage to escape early, ill go by 😊 don’t expect me to do anything tho. Im just there to observe how Shadyside’s vampire interacts with kids
Cyrus: haha is that why you guys live in Shadyside. Because it’s shady and there will be no sun
TJ: oh hardy har har
TJ: I actually lay in the sun every morning for a while so I think your vampire theory is dead
Cyrus: you’re a fool TJ Kippen. Vampires never die.
TJ: I’m going to turn into a bat and fly away next time I see you I swear.
Cyrus: well you can’t because I need my polaroid picture back
TJ: you got me there
TJ rolled out of bed and went to shower, playing music on his speaker. He didn’t hear anyone else, so he assumed everyone else was out. Amber had said something about getting brunch with some friends before work the night before, and he assumed his dad wasn’t back yet. His mom was a different question and he didn’t bother asking himself where she possibly could have had gone.
He scrolled through his phone through his many playlists and saw C.C.C.M.  He smiled before playing it. Those songs made his chest fuzzy and sometimes the feelings would get overwhelming. But he didn’t really mind. He liked the old music that made him think of his new feelings.
I know a little bit about a lot of things
But I don’t know enough about you
Just when I think you’re mine
You try a different line
And baby what can I do
-
When TJ got to work, parents were barely starting to drop off their kids. Some of the little kids would give him hugs as they walked in. He loved his job, and he knew that he’d never get anything wrong. His manager and him split them in groups, and TJ started helping his little group of five with their exercises. A while into work, one of the kids in his group pointed to the door and said, “Look, TJ. Cyrus is here!” All the other little kids in the gym started saying choruses of ‘hi Cyrus’ and waving furiously at him. Cyrus had a huge frown when he walked in that quickly faded when the kids all started going to him. TJ had noticed the frown on time to know something was up.
“Hey, Underdog,” TJ told Cyrus as he approached him.
“Hey, TJ. Just dropping by,” Cyrus said, carrying one of the youngest kids in his arms.
“Cathy get down,” TJ laughed as the little girl held tightly onto Cyrus. She gave TJ puppy eyes, but TJ saw right through them and shook his head. “Come on.”
“Awe snap,” Cathy gave TJ an exaggerated frown before Cyrus put her back down on the floor. Cathy and the other kids went back to trying to do their stretches when TJ nodded his head towards the matts.
“It’s like you mind control them,” Cyrus said, a small grin on his face.
“Vampires can’t control minds,” TJ smirked then looked directly at Cyrus. “What’s wrong?”
“Wrong?” Cyrus seemed to jump. “Nothing’s wrong. Everything is fine.” Everything indeed, was not fine.
“I might not know a lot about you, but I can tell when something is wrong,” TJ said and looked at his watch. “I have a break in like thirty minutes,” he said, putting his hand on Cyrus shoulder. Cyrus breath hitched. “Do you think you can wait for me to talk about it?” TJ then paused. “Only if you want to talk about it, though.”
Cyrus thought about it for a few seconds before saying, “Yeah, I’ll just sit down for a bit.” TJ nodded before letting go of Cyrus’ shoulder and walking back to the kids to continue showing them other exercise. Cyrus went to a chair in the corner, not wanting to touch his phone. He sat with his arms crossed, his frown eventually turning into a small smile as he watched TJ teach the kids how to do a handstand. Cyrus started laughing when the kids all knocked down TJ when he was in the middle of one. It was cute and it hurt Cyrus in the chest like a knife. Cyrus looked out the window to the park across the street and watched more people go by. There were dog walkers, joggers, more little kids, and the occasional couple. Cyrus grew worried that every couple going by could be Jonah and Andi.
The thirty minutes seemed to drag by until TJ eventually went up to Cyrus and smiled at him. “I have twenty minutes. Want to go to the park?” Cyrus eyes at the kids who were all in a circle around who seemed to be TJ’s boss, drinking a juice box and eating snacks. They were all staring back at them, giving him excited waves.
Cyrus waved back before standing up and saying, “Yeah, let’s go.” Cyrus and TJ went across the street and sat at a bench that was only a minute walk away.
“So do you want to tell me what’s wrong or would you rather me tell you how Hotel Transylvania ends?” TJ smirked, sitting down an inch away from Cyrus on the bench.
“Hanging out with Andi and Jonah by myself was a mistake,” Cyrus spilled. He didn’t like Jonah anymore, and he wasn’t jealous. There was just something there that made it look like they were both unhappy, but he’d never tell Andi. He didn’t want her to think that he just wanted Jonah for himself.
“You never look comfortable around Jonah,” TJ said, making Cyrus’ eyes go wide. Was he that obvious?
Cyrus stuttered, “What do you… what do you mean?”
“I mean you’re fine around him, but it’s never the same feeling around Buffy and Andi. It’s like you’re watching out for something,” TJ explained, making Cyrus’ mouth fall open. He had only watched out that he wouldn’t catch feelings for him again. Of course, TJ was making that task a lot easier. “Is there a chunk of the story that I’m missing?” I only had a heart obliterating crush on him that made me want to fling myself in the ocean, but other than that, not really.
“I’ll tell you that part someday,” Cyrus told him after a few seconds of stiff silence. “I promise.” He wasn’t ready to come out to TJ yet.
“Sounds good,” TJ told him. “No need to promise. If it comes, it comes.” It’ll come out of the closet one day Cyrus bit his lip. “Why are you upset right now though? Like, the actual reason.”
“Well,” Cyrus started, “they started fighting while we were hanging out. I sort of just sat there not knowing what to do. They almost dragged me into, and I just stood up and left without saying anything. I just feel so bad leaving them because they’re my friends, and I don’t them to be fighting.”
“Couples fight, and you shouldn’t feel bad about other people’s problems,” TJ told him, putting his arm around him. Cyrus didn’t tense up for once. He had grown used to that part of TJ.
“I know but Andi is my best friend and Jonah is her best friend.”
“Her boyfriend,” TJ emphasized. “Not yours.” A long time ago, that would’ve stung Cyrus. Today, that sentence lifted a weight off his shoulders.
“Yeah,” Cyrus told him, already sounding better, “I guess you’re right.”
“Sometimes I can be right, too,” TJ smirked, gently bumping the side of his head on the side of Cyrus’ for half a second.
“I hope they’ll be fine by tonight though,” Cyrus told him apologetically. “We’re throwing Andi a surprise party, and Buffy, Jonah, and I were supposed to plan it.”
“If Jonah can’t pull through, hit me up,” TJ told him with a smile.
“Will do either way,” Cyrus turned to TJ who was already looking at him. TJ and Cyrus stared at each other for another two seconds, TJ eyeing the mole and Cyrus testing how fast he could count TJ’s freckles before they both bashfully turned away.
I read the latest news
No buttons on my shoes
But baby I'm confused about you
You get me in a spin
Oh what a stew I'm in
'Cause I don't know enough about you
-
Monday during third period, TJ was furiously tapping his feet on the floor. Nobody heard it over all the chatting that was going on as their teacher passed back their math test. It was the first chapter test of the year, and TJ knew he didn’t do well. He was aiming for a C minus when he was studying with Amber, but when he got the test in front of him, nothing made sense. The questions seemed to be in a different language, as if someone had gotten words from different magazines and clipped them together. He didn’t know what most of the questions were asking, and he had forgotten a few rules for factoring. He looked over across the room at Cyrus who was sitting with Jonah and some other kids. Cyrus smiled at TJ, making TJ’s tapping ease a little as he returned a polite head nod. When the teacher approached TJ, she wore a familiar look on her face. TJ knew that face of disappointment all too well, and he already assumed the worst with she placed the test upside down on his desk. He took a deep breath before flipping it upside down.
F
See me after school please
Without saying anything, TJ crumbled up the paper and clutched it in his hand before storming out of the class. He heard Mrs. Pierson call after him as the rest of the class fell silent, but he kept walking down the hall. He pushed open the restroom door and saw two 6th graders in there. “Out,” he boomed at them, making them jump and run out the door. TJ went to the corner of the restroom next to the hand dryer and sat down, test still clutched in his hand. He didn’t realize how hard he was biting his lip when he tasted the blood on his tongue. He wanted to kick everything and tear it all apart. He had tried so hard for that test, and it was worthless. When the door open, he yelled again, “Out!”
“TJ,” Cyrus peaked his head in, “it’s me. Mrs. Pierson let me come. Can I come in?” TJ felt his face get hot. He was embarrassed now.
“Whatever,” TJ mumbled. Cyrus took it as a yes and walked in, going to TJ’s corner. When Cyrus bent down to sit, his head accidently knocked into the air dryer button, making it turn on. TJ bust out laughing as Cyrus jumped in fear. “Be careful, Cyrus.” Cyrus hit the button again with the side of his fist to turn it off again, his face showing irritation. He looked down at TJ and his face softened up again when he remembered what he was there for. TJ wasn’t looking at him but rather, the crumbled up test in his hands. Cyrus sat down next to him, this time being careful with the machine.
“Can I see that?” Cyrus pointed at TJ’s closed hand.
“The paper or my hand?” TJ asked, almost sourly.
“TJ,” Cyrus poked him in the stomach, making TJ jump more into the corner. “I’m not here to make fun of you.”
“I know but,” TJ paused. He didn’t have anything else to say. “This is just embarrassing. I feel so stupid. I studied, I swear I did. I just… can’t do it.”
“Yes you can, TJ,” Cyrus told him. “You’re not stupid. We might have just started being friends, and I don’t know every little thing about you, but I know you’re smart. You just need to talk to Mrs. Pierson about your dyscalculia and get a tutor that can work around it. You’ll be fine. I promise.”
“You make a lot of promises, don’t you?” TJ tilted his to look at Cyrus, a sad and dead look in his eyes.
“I do,” Cyrus said matter-of-factly, “and I tend to keep all of them.” TJ gave him half a smile that fell after a second. He put his test in Cyrus’ hand before looking away. Cyrus uncrumpled the paper and scanned it. “See. I’m sure she’s willing to help. Just go talk to her after school. I can go with you if you want.”
“Why do you care so much Cyrus?” TJ asked him, a little too bitterly than what he usually spoke like. It was similar to the way he would talking to Buffy when she first got on the team. “I’m pretty sure you have a passing grade. You don’t have to worry about my dumbass.”
“Actually, I tend to just shove my tests in my backpack and look at them a week later when it doesn’t hurt,” Cyrus said. “I like to live a life in denial. So for now, I’ll be in denial that you hate that I care about you.”
“I don’t hate it,” TJ looked at him, a huge frown on his face. “I’m actually glad that you care. I just don’t like it that you’re seeing me like this.”
“I think we’ve seen each other however ‘like this’,” Cyrus quote with his hands before handing TJ back his test, “plenty of times.”
TJ smiled for once, “We have, haven’t we.” TJ reached for his phone and took off his phone case, confusing Cyrus for a second. TJ then pulled out the polaroid with their silly faces and handed it to him. “Here. Since I didn’t get to see you this morning.” Cyrus looked at the polaroid photo and smiled.
“Thank you,” Cyrus told him softly. TJ was the first to stand up and reached out his hand to Cyrus to help him up. Cyrus took it, but he still managed to stumble into him.
“I got you,” TJ said, holding Cyrus steady by the arms.
“Me, too,” Cyrus smiled at him as he planted his feet firmly on the ground. Cyrus and TJ stared at each other for a moment and the next thing they knew, they were hugging.
You know I went to school
And I'm nobody's fool
That is to say until I met you!
I know a little bit about a lot o' things
But I don't know enough about you
I know a little bit about biology
And a little more about psychology
I'm a little gem in geology
But I don't know enough about you

run me over
So... finally got good WiFi to post this fifth part!
Part One: thump
Part Two: melt
Part Three: do you even meme?
Part Four: laugh
Part Five: fall
It’s not a date. That’s what Jack had been telling himself for a week now. It’s not a date. He was going to see Felix again, enjoy his company one more time in complete one sided emotion. They were going to hang out at the arcade. Like the good old days when the two guys were just kids, and the arcade was still a cool place to hang out. Not that it wasn’t anymore, but it was a dying oasis.
Maybe he shouldn’t have worn this shirt. Maybe a different colour would have been better. What was Felix’s favorite colour? Maybe that was something Jack should know by now, he has been working on a friendship for near a month at this point. They had been talking almost every day since having watched the movie with PJ. He was even texting the goof himself and getting advice on how to deal with the Swede.
Thank goodness for that too, because Jack almost blew it a couple times there.
Jack was in the car with Felix now and just a block away from the arcade. They had been talking about video games, and Jack’s favorite game.
“It’s a good game, not gonna lie,” Felix said. “I played it. I just like Dark Souls better.” Jack could almost feel offended at this.
“Shadow of the Colossus is so much better! It’s just boss battles over and over!” Jack looked at Felix and wanted to hold his hand so badly, but refrained. Felix winced at jack’s yelling. He still wasn’t used to it yet.
“Alright!” Felix yelled in mock agreement. “It’s the best game!” Jack faced forward again.
“Damn right it is!” the two pulled into the parking lot of the arcade and got out to walk when the car stopped. Jack was visibly excited. He almost skipped as he walked, giggling when he talked. Felix was amused to see Jack act almost like a little boy. It was definitely endearing to say the least, Felix definitely was comfortable enough with his sexuality to call the man adorable.
Stepping into the arcade, Jack and Felix took a moment to take in the blips and bells and lights from the dozens of games around. This was definitely going to be a good afternoon.
“Wanna make a bet?” Felix almost sings, his eyes twinkling and eyebrow raising. Jack loved his eyes.
“What are ou planning you meatball?” Jack squinted his eyes and put his hands on his hips. They walked to the coin machine to trade forty dollars for tokens.
“Whoever wins the most games by the end of the day wins,” Felix suggested. Jack thought about it, sure that he wouldn’t win. Felix was just as sure of his gaming ability.
“Somethings got to be at stake here,” Jack said. “Loser has to do whatever the winner wants. But only one thing!” Jack would make that win count. Felix smiled even more and gave a little laugh. Jack could feel his heart squeezing in his chest.
“Get ready to lose, Sean!” Jack wanted to die right then at the sound of Felix calling out his legal name. It was almost too much for him to handle. Jack smiled through the urge to jump Felix and kiss him, wrapping his arms around him. No doubt he’d lose him uber quickly that way. He just had to wait, lie and wait.
“You have to be cheating!” Felix called out after. He was losing sorely in air hockey – the final game the boys would play. Jack was already ahead by wins, but Felix insisted that air hockey would be the ultimatum. The all or nothing. And he was still losing five to one.
“You are terrible at this,” Jack retorted. He hit the puck once and it landed itself in the little goal. Felix huffed as jack gained another point.
“I’m not, you're just a cheater!” He complained like a child.
“How can you cheat at this?” Jack laughed, watching the puck that Felix was serving. The two of them had genuinely been having a blast, even if Felix was sorely losing. They hit the puck back and fortha few more times until Felix made a lucky shot and gained a point. It was now six to two. If Jack made another point, Felix would lose the whole bet.
“Ha!” Felix threw his hands up in the air. “I got a point! Get ready Irish leprechaun cause I'm about to whoop your ass!”
“Be quiet you goof,” Jack laughed. “There are kids around.” Felix’s arms went down quickly and looked embarrassed very quickly. His cheeks got the tiniest hint of pink and Jack laughed more. In truth he found it to be the most adorable thing ever, but played it off as Felix being funny. “Come on, we aren’t finished yet!” Jack set the puck back on the table top. Immediately it started floating away. He hit it towards Felix, the man whom he was slowly falling for more and more.
The two men kept passing and missing hits for near a minute. Felix tried his best to keep Jack from winning. But Jack was just a little too good. Or maybe it was just luck, seeing as how he’d never heard of anyone who was genuinely good at air hockey. Anyhow, Jack made the final seventh point, signifying he had won the game. He lifted his arms in victory.
“Yes!” He cried out over the blips and shouts from other people. “Irish Leprechaun gets the win!” Felix narrowed his eyes playfully at the gloating shorter man.
“I still say you cheated,” He pointed an accusatory finger at Jack, who just laughed.
“Oh shut up and let’s count our tickets.” Jack led the way to the ticket counting machine. He had a mess of tickets in his hand which he had gotten from most of the games they played. It almost made Felix roll his eyes over the disorganization Jack seemed to have over them. It took a while to untangle them enough to insert them into the machine, and ripping the tickets was necessary at times, but eventually the machine printed a receipt that dictated Jack had over nine hundred fifty tickets.
Felix was smart about the whole issue. He had folded his tickets nicely into rows of ten and kept them in the cup they used for tokens. Neat. Jack wondered how Felix had the patience to do that. It was cute, how he used his head even at the most useless of times. Easily, Felix fed the tickets to the machine. The receipt read six hundred twenty three total tickets. Jack made the pathetic muted trumpet sound that played in old cartoons whenever the character failed.
“Shut up,” Felix muttered playfully. They made their way to the rewards counter to get things. They looked around at different stupid toys for a few minute. Chinese handcuffs, those stupid plastic hands, tops, stickers, sweets. They laughed at everything they saw. Nothing was good enough. They were a bit too old for some of these things and neither of them had enough to get the really good things like the hover boards or wii games to play with guests. Jack’s eye caught on a black plushy the size of a pumpkin.
“Fe, look!” Jack cried out pointing to the dragon plushy. “It’s a Toothless!” Felix looked to the toy. He could tell jack really liked it. Could tell he wanted it. The way Jack looked with wide eyes at the cute dragon was endearing. He was like a child.  Felix smiled.
“You should get it,” he said. Jack looked for the tag that said how much it was. Twelve hundred thirty tickets. He frowned disappointed.
“Can’t,” he said dejectedly. “It’s too much.” Felix frowned and looked at the tag. He did some quick mental math. He pulled Jack be the sleeve to get to the counter and got the attention of a girl who was working behind the counter. When she saw Felix she smiled.
“What can I get you?” She said. Felix took Jack’s ticket from him and handed them to the girl.
“Can we get the Toothless thing if we combine the two?” He asked, pointing to the plushy. Jack looked up quickly and looked at Felix. Combine the tickets to get him the Toothless? Would he really do that for him? Felix didn’t look to be joking.
The girl looked at Jack and smiled. “You’re in luck,” She said lightly. She moved to get the Toothless from the shelf. Jack just kept looking at Felix while waiting. It wasn’t such an odd thing to do, but it was so incredibly sweet, so terrifically lovable. Jack’s heart beat perfectly calm and didn’t hurt at all. Different to the usual reaction he had when Felix did something he loved.
That’s when Jack knew his emotions had gotten too strong.
“Here you go!” The girl handed over the plushie to Felix. “That leaves you with…three hundred forty six tickets.” She seemed to do the math in her head. Felix handed Jack the plushy. He took it in his hands gingerly. It was a surprisingly good quality. Had the DreamWorks tag on it. Jack smiled softly when he hugged the plushy tightly. He’d love and take good care of this for the rest of his life. A gift from the first guy he ever loved.
Loved.
“Wanna get a bunch of candy?” Felix asked. Jack could only nod. He was afraid to speak, maybe his loud voice would blow Felix away.  Felix turned to the girl behind the counter. “Just fill a bag with different sweets until we run out of tickets.” The girl nodded and grabbed a bag and went to the sweets under the glass counter. She pulled out an assortment of lollipops, sour strings, skittles, Jolly Ranchers, and chocolates.
“Hey whats wrong?” Felix said noticing jack was very quiet.
“Nothing,” Jack said softly. “I just can’t believe you gave up half your tickets for me.” Felix smiled at that.
“No big deal,” he assured. “I’d rather you get something cool you want than we both get shitty little toys.” The girl came back and gave Felix the bag of candy. The two men walked back to the car. Felix was going to drop Jack off at home now.
On the way to Jack’s house, he thought a lot. Perhaps to Felix the gesture was simply an act of kindness or sensibility. But to Jack it was a whole lot more than that. It was something that pushed jack to understand the depth of his emotions. How he could never live without Felix being in his life one way or another. Even if they never got together romantically, he needed him. Without Felix, what was even the point of living anymore? So of course, he had to keep him. Even if it meant never telling Felix he was gay, or admitting his feelings to a man who believed he was incredibly straight.
If this is what love felt like, Jack was in for a lifetime of unrequited love and disappointment when Felix found a girl he thought he loved. It was definitely a fast fall for him. Almost two months since he had first been saved by Felix. Only one month of talking to him. Of course it was an incredibly short amount of time. Most people would say it definitely was not love.
But he was sure it was. How could it be anything else?
Felix reached Jack’s house and stopped the car.
“Well here we are,” Felix said. They had both been munching on sweets on the way. Felix was currently munching on a chocolate. Jack was sucking on a lollipop that he just opened.
“I had fun man,” Jack said with a smile. “Thanks for bringing me!” He unbuckled his seatbelt.
“I had fun too! Still think you cheated but it’s whatever.” Felix shrugged and giggled. That gave Jack an idea.
“Oh yeah,” he started with a mischievous smirk. “About that…” Felix’s smile disappeared. The bet had still been on and Felix just reminded Jack of it. Oh no, he thought. For sure, Felix thought Jack would make him do something horrible. Jack thought about it quickly. What did he want from Felix now? A kiss would be nice, but no doubt Felix would question it and refuse and then wonder what Jack was really around for. But perhaps a kiss on the cheek… but it had to be weird for Felix.
“Kiss me on the cheek,” Jack said with a smirk. “Since you lost.” Felix’s eyes widened and he looked confused at Jack.
“What?” He chuckled nervously. “For real?”
“What?” jack taunted. “You aren’t comfortable enough in your own sexuality that you can’t give a friend a kiss on the cheek when you lose a bet?” Felix blushed a little bit.
“How is this rewarding for you?” He asked moving his hair around on his head.
“It makes you uncomfortable, doesn’t it?” Jack laughed. It was a good cover for him. No one had to know or suspect anything. Felix thought about tit for a minute. A bet was a bet. He had to pay up. Jack apparently knew exactly what made him tick.
“Alright,” he surrendered. Jack smiled as if he had won – which he had – and closed his eyes. He turned his head and brought his cheek out for Felix to kiss when he was ready. Felix bit his pride and heterosexuality and leaned in to give Jack a kiss to his cheek. He left a small mark of chocolate on his cheek. Felix saw and was tempted to wipe it away but decided against it. Jack smiled wider, probably amused – unbeknownst to Felix he was shining with joy and resisting to pull Felix in for a kiss.
“Not so bad now was it?” Jack joked. Felix blushed a bit.
“The worst thing I’ve ever done in my life,” he playfully insulted. Jack laughed and got out of the car. After a quick goodbye, Felix drove away. It was a strange feeling; kissing a man on the cheek. He had never done that before. Felix shied away from anything that could be considered homosexual, although he could act like the gayest person in the whole city, he never acted on words or phrases he’s said or mimed.
He drove home thinking of the green haired boy and the kiss on the cheek. It couldn’t have meant anything to jack… so why was it starting to mean something to him?

“Back then, I lied when I told you I didn’t love you. You needed to move on from me– I needed to protect you from me.” for coldflash please :)
Okay, there’s a funny story behind the inspiration for this one, which is I was watching clips from ‘The Muppets’ TV show (You know, the one where Miss Piggy has the show, and Kermit is her EP, and it’s sort of like 30 Rock?) while trying to come up with ideas, and I thought ‘OH MY GOSH, A COLDFLASH AU!’, and so this was born.
Late Night with Len
The job ofan executive producer was hard. Especially when everyone else’s jobs rest on your shoulders.
           First stop,writer’s room.
Barryknocked on the open door, shaking his head when he saw Cisco, Nate, and Raystanding over a sleeping HR, permanent markers in hand.
“Hey!” Hecalled before the ink touched the writer’s face. They all froze in place, guilty expressions on their faces. “Everything ready for rehearsals?”
Theynodded, and Barry rolled his eyes as he checked ‘Writers goofing off, but somehow completed their work’, off hislist. “Carry on.” He announced, turning to walk back out. Sometimes, he justneeded to choose his battles. He passed Caitlin, the stage manager, on his wayto his next stop—the band.
“Thewriters are using HR’s face as an easel again.” He warned.
She let outa deep sigh. “I’ve told them.” She stomped towards the writer’s room, and Barrydidn’t envy a single one of them. He headed for the stage, where Wally, Jesse,Linda, and Jax were warming up.
Wally wasthe first to notice him approaching. “Hey, Bare!”
He wavedwith his pen. “You guys picked a song for tonight? You know Kara Danvers is ourguest tonight, and she wants to perform with you guys.”
Linda andJax were practically buzzing with excitement, but Jesse, keeping it cool, justgrinned. “We’re gonna blow her away. Don’t worry about it.”
He wastrying not to. He couldn’t help but have flashbacks to the Beyoncé incidentlast season. “Fingers crossed.” He said instead. He looked up at the stagelights, frowning when he saw Curtis positioned precariously on top of one, messing with the wires.
“Rene?” Heall but ran for the other stagehand, who was kicked back beside the ladder thatlead to the catwalk. “Why is your boyfriend messing with dangerous equipmentwithout a harness? Or without telling anyone?”
“He toldme.” Rene replied unhelpfully. “Don’t worry, hoss. He knows what he’sdoing…most of the time. He probably won’t fall.”
That wasalmost no comfort. He was about to chew Rene and Curtis out, drag the latterdown by his ear if he had to, but a call over his headset stopped him.
“Barry, you told me to let you know whenSnart got here.” Iris said through their talkies.
           Barryturned away from Rene. “And?”
“Well, he’s here. But he’s hungover as hell.He tried to hide it, but he must have had a lot last night. I think you shouldcome back here.”
The last thing he wanted was tosee Len when he was already stressed about the rest of the show. This was theirseason premiere—after all the bad publicity their so-called ‘star’ had gottenrecently, they needed a good opening if the show was going to survive.
He sighed.“Iris, I’ll be there in a minute. Just…make sure he makes it to his dressingroom and that he’s drinking lots of water. The last thing we need is for him tokeel over from dehydration.”
“Got it. I’ll get Mick to help.”
Barry spared one more glanceback at Rene. “Curtis better be off that light by the time I get in here, orI’m siccing Caitlin and Laurel onyou.”
Honestly, they were the best threat he had, between Caitlin’s mothering and Laurel’slegal talk, no one wanted to crossthem. He broke out into a run for the stage door. Sara—the on-air announcer—waswaiting for him, holding out a red Gatorade.
“I heardLeonard was out late again. Can he do rehearsals, or do I need to come up withan explanation for Kara Danvers?”
The factthat he and Sara had a system for this sort of thing was sad. He accepted the Gatorade.“Just…hold off for a moment. Let me talk to him and I’ll get back to you.”
She nodded, following him most of the way to Len’s dressing room. It was a bright bluedoor, far from anyone else’s dressing rooms or offices, with a white snowflakeon it instead of a star. When they’d started the show, it was a running gagbetween him and Len. Now, it fit so horribly well with their lives.
He raisedhis hand to knock, but it opened before his fingers touched the wood. Mick,Len’s assistant, poked his head out, relief softening his features when he sawit was Barry.
“Good. Heneeds you.” He only opened it wide enough for Barry to slip inside.
“How bad isit?” Barry whispered, staring at the curtain that separated the front of theroom from the ‘resting area’—the one with Len’s vanity and couch. He could seeLen laid out on the couch through the thin fabric, still and quiet.
“On a scalefrom one to ‘Lewis showing his ugly face again’, I’d give it a ‘The dayValentina Vostok purposely leaked their sex tape’.”
Barrycringed. That’d been a really bad day. “What happened?”
Mick’seyebrows raised, like Barry was the biggest moron he’d ever seen. “Don’t youknow what last night was?”
He furrowedhis brow. It was a Sunday. Sunday, March 16th—
“Damn.”Barry groaned, palming his face. “Was that really yesterday? Alright, I’ll…I’lltake care of this. Just, go and tell Sara to prepare for the worst for now.”
Mick dartedfrom the room, eager to be far away from the drama that was about to ensure.Gathering his nerve, Barry stepped through the curtain.
Len wasstill wearing his sunglasses, his hand resting on his forehead to massage awaythe pain, and a water bottle hanging from his other hand.
Barry tooka seat at the foot of the couch. Len didn’t acknowledge his presence. He shookhis head. Len had been doing so good—he’d cleaned up his act, stopped drinking, stopped drugs, stayed out of the papers. Then, over the summer, everythingsuddenly changed.
Suddenly,Leonard Snart was all over the tabloids—at clubs, at after-parties, gettingdrunk and throwing up in storm drains. Luckily, he hadn’t gone back to the drugs,as far as Barry knew.
“Stopstaring.” Len mumbled, still not moving. “You’re thinking too loud.”
Barry rolledhis eyes. “I’d ask how your feeling, but if it’s anything like how you look, Ican assume the answer is ‘shitty’.”
Len barkedout a laugh, followed by a groan. “It hurts to do anything.” He moaned. “Painkillers?”
Barry shookhis head. “Sorry. No drugs. You’re a recovering addict remember.”
“I’m hardlygoing to go back to shooting up because I took a Tylenol.” He grumbled, sittingup so his back was against the arm of the couch.
“Honestly,I don’t know where your head’s at right now.” Barry shot back. “So, what you’llbe getting is a Gatorade and zero pity from anyone here over your hangover.”
Len rolledhis eyes, but accepted the bottle Barry offered him.
“Now, arewe going to talk about what the hell you’ve been doing these past months, orare you going to yell at me again and try to have me kicked off the lot again?”
A smiletugged at the corner of Len’s lips, but only for a second. “What I get up toisn’t your problem anymore, Allen. My life outside of this studio is my life.”
Oh, so that’show it was going to be. “Actually,” Barry scoffed, “it is my business when it starts carrying over into your work, or whenthe bad publicity you’ve been stirring up starts affecting the ratings of my show.”
“Funny, Ithought it was my show. You know, since my name is in the title: Late Nightwith Leonard Snart.”
Barry’snostrils flared. This shit—this exactshit and attitude—is why theyweren’t together anymore. Len’s head getting too big, becoming an insatiablediva, mistreating a lot of the crewmembers on the show. Finally, on March 16th,Barry had enough. They’d been having dinner with some big wigs from the studio, and Len had started bad-mouthing their friends from the show. At that point,Barry’d had enough.
“Thosepeople work their asses off for you, Len!” He’d shouted after storming out ofthe restaurant. Len, who’d chased him out, snorted.
“Come on,Barry. You complain about them, too. They goof off, almost never get their workdone in time for the show, always make mistakes you have to clean up—”
“It doesn’tmatter, Len! What matters is that those people in there—the ones you wererunning your mouth to—can get them all fired.Do you understand that? All of those people who have dedicated their lives tomaking our show great, who sacrifice their social lives by staying behind untilwell past midnight to make sure everything is perfect, who are there right now planning tomorrow night’sshow, those are the people you justsold out in there. And now I’m going to have to grovel to some studio head sothat they don’t all lose their jobs!”
The Len heknew and loved would’ve, upon realizing what he’d done, run back inside andtried to fix things, if not for their friends, then for Barry. But, instead, helaughed in Barry’s face. “If they cared about their jobs that much, they’dactually work to keep them. Maybe what my show needs is some fresh faces andnew ideas.” He took Barry by the hand. “We’ll talk about it later though. Comeon, Scarlet, let’s finish dinner.”
But Barrycouldn’t. He yanked his hand from his boyfriend’s grasp and stepped away. “No.I can’t…I can’t do this anymore, Len.”
Len raisedan eyebrow. “You’re breaking up with me? Over this?”
He hadn’twanted to. But he’d known that he needed to. “Yes. Because the man I loveshould be worried that what he says and does could put hard-working people outof their jobs. Should care that about someone other than himself.”
He’d walkedaway right after that, leaving Len standing alone outside the restaurant. Whenthey’d come in the next day for work, they interacted only when they had to, andmostly spoke through Mick.
It hadn’thelped things when TMZ got their hands on a cellphone video of the break up anddecided to run it. That had sparked another fight between them, right in themiddle of the soundstage in front of most of their crew. They avoided eachother for nearly two weeks after that.
One yearlater, they were finally getting to a place where he thought they could worktogether without any…underlining feelings.
Of course,Len was still a handful on a good day and a full-blown bastard on a medium day.He didn’t like to even think about bad days.
Barry jumpedto his feet. “For now. Did you know that I had a meeting with Eobard Thawne? Youknow, the man who holds all of our jobs in the palm of his hand? He told methat, if you don’t get your act together, this whole show is getting cut from thelineup. I had to beg him to give youanother shot. Do you know how degrading that is—begging a man like Thawne? I owe him a favor now!”
He could see the tension in Len’sshoulders, but the diva huffed. “It can’t be that bad.”
“What thehell is wrong with you?” Barry demanded. “For months, you’ve been stompingaround like a spoiled child, doing whatever the hell you want without thinkingabout the people whose lives you affect. Ever since…”
He paused, thinking back to the first day he’d noticed something wrong with Len. It wasthe night after Oliver Queen came on the show, the night he’d asked Barry out.
“Is thatwhat all of this is about?” He asked. “Is this about you being upset thatsomeone asked me out? Or just that he asked me over you? Is that why you’vebeen making an ass of yourself for months?”
Len snortedand turned his head away. “Maybe not everything I do is about you, Barry? Haveyou ever thought of that?”
Barry hadhad enough. “Fine. Whatever. Just…be at rehearsal in ten minutes, or I’msending Sara in here to drag you out.”
His headsnapped back around. “You wouldn’t.”
Barryhuffed as he strode back to the door. “Don’t push me, Len.”
0000000
Rehearsalwent better than expected. The song the band picked was fun and Kara seemed toenjoy singing it with them. They ran through the schedule for the show withouta hitch. The material from the writers was genuinely funny and witty. Even Lendid amazing, given his state.
By the end,Barry felt a weight lift off his shoulders, like maybe Thawne would let themkeep their show longer than the six months he’d promised. His phone buzzed.
           Oliver Queen
He stepped backstage to take it.
           “Hey,Ollie.”
           “Hey, Barry. How’s rehearsal going?”
Barry sighed. “Stressful, but sofar, pretty good. The worse part so far has been Len. I had to fight him to getserious about the show.”
“Well, you know from experience what aprimadonna he can be.”
“That’s harsh, Ollie.” Hedefended, even though Oliver was completely right. “He’s going throughsomething right now. I just wish he’d tell me what was going on.”
There was adeep sigh on the other end of the line. “Bare, you have a big heart. It’s one of those wonderful, loveable things I adoreabout you. But it’s not your job to worry about him outside of the studioanymore. If he wants to crash and burn, you shouldn’t make yourself sick aboutit. He has to want to save himself.”
“I know.” Barry agreed. “I just…whenyou’ve cared about someone for years, it doesn’t just go away, y’know? I’malways going to want to help him.”
“I know, Barry. I know.” Oliver didn’tsound jealous, just concerned. “Do youwant to go out for dinner tonight? Get your mind off of things?”
Barry pursed his lips, thinkinghard. “Not tonight. Maybe this weekend? There’s so much going on here rightnow. I need to be here.”
“I understand. I’ll call you tomorrow.”
He felt eyes on his back as hehung up, and he turned to see Len hovering behind him. “I’m sorry.”
Barry’seyes widened. Had something happened? Was Len replaced by a clone? Was it AprilFool’s? Len never apologized.
“I’ve been…unfairto you.” He continued. “I was upset that you moved on so quickly from ourrelationship. I guess I thought that…that maybe this wasn’t permanent. That itwas just a fight, and we’d be getting back together. Then, you and Queenstarted dating, and I realized…I realized it was really over. You were donewith me. I tried to go out and pretend that I was moving on with my life, too.And maybe I was purposely trying to hurt you, I don’t know. But you don’tdeserve any of the hateful things I’ve said or done. And no one in this studiodeserves to get fired because I can’t move on.
“I knowthat, during that big fight we had, I told you that you were just a fad, and thatwhat we had was a passing fancy, but I didn’t mean it, Scarlet. Back then…I wasangry and hated myself for making you leave. I lied when I told you I didn’tlove you, because you needed to move on from me– I needed to protect you fromme.”
He hung hishead. “I’m a train wreck. I always have been, since my father forced me intothis life. Between the drugs, and the tabloid stories, and the constanthook-ups…Barry, you were the best thing I’ve ever had. I thought that maybe youcould help me be better, but instead I just started dragging you down, too. Youdeserve better than me, everyone here does. But if I can help you all keep yourjobs, I swear, I’ll try.”
It was themost honest he’d heard Len be in so long, and it was the first time he’d openlydiscussed their break-up since it happened. If he’d said those things a fewmonths before, Barry would’ve rushed into his arms, forgiven him completely, and kissed the sorrow away.
But thingshad changed. Maybe there was no going back for them—at least, for the timebeing. But damn, did he still love him. He just couldn’t stop.
Len headedback for the soundstage without another word, leaving a shocked-silent Barrybehind. “Barry!” Caitlin’s voice camethrough his headset, jarring him from his paralysis.
           “Yeah?”
“Did you tell Curtis to mess with the satelliteon the roof? Because he and Rene are heading up that way with tin foil, ducttape, a screwdriver, and a ladder.”
Barry cursed. He’d have to dealwith Len and all of their troubles later. For now, he had a show to run.

Tumblr media
You would have preferred to peacefully spend your weekend sleeping in your comfortable bed with your boyfriend than go out on a date, but the idea of spending it with these nine loud and messy guys sounded so much better than the other two. 30 minutes ago Yuta, your boyfriend of almost seven months, called to inform you that him and the rest of the members are on their way to your shared apartment. Of course with that sudden news, you rushed to the kitchen and prepared snacks enough for them. It’s been a while since you’ve seen the other 8 members as they were all very busy promoting for their comeback. And it seemed like all of you will pretty much enjoy the night goofing around. Or so you thought.
The night started with Yuta, Johnny, Doyoung, and Winwin playing some video games while the other 5 cheered for their own bets. You sat beside Yuta, one leg over his, who was too keen to win the game.
“I have to win this! Ugh! Go away Doyoung! Wait I’m almost–damn it!” Everyone laughed at Yuta’s misfortune as Doyoung stood up and did a victory dance. Yuta looked absolutely adorable as he pouted his lips and stared at his dead character on the screen. “I just wanted to win for once! Doyoung, you’re not allowed to play again! This is really unfair!”
“Nah, you just suck,” Johnny shrugged earning a light smack at the back of his head. Everyone snickered at the scene and you just couldn’t stop staring at your boyfriend. It definitely feels good to finally see him laughing and goofing around instead of stressing himself for their comeback.
“Don’t worry, babe. You’re still the best for me,” you cooed and kissed his left cheek. As expected, they all made gagging noise and pretended to go the bathroom, Donghyuck being the most extra.
“I told you it’s a bad idea to come over. (Y/N) and Yuta will only rub in our faces that we’re lonely losers,” Even Taeil who was silent ever since they arrived spoke up, his figure lazily sprawled on the floor beside Winwin. You just rolled your eyes and stood up.
“Just get yourself a girl, old man.“
“Noona, we ran out soda!” Donghyuck complained from the kitchen and Mark came back with a bottle of water.
“Why don’t you just drink water with Mark, Donghyuck? It’s healthier,” you teased.
“Well, I’m not a loser like him,” he sassed and half of the members went to playfully hugged Mark in sympathy while the rest just laughed out loud.
“And since you’re not a loser like what you claimed to be, why don’t you come with me and buy drinks? I’ll even buy you your favourite snack,” you bribed and with just a millisecond, Donghyuck was already outside with a very excited look on his face. “Donghyuck and I will be back!” You called.
After almost an hour, you were finally on your way back to the apartment. The store that you and Donghyuck went unexpectedly closed when it was still only 8:30 so you had to look for another one to buy sodas and his favourite snacks. Donghyuck was too excited to eat his snacks so he ran his way to your apartment.
You were worried he might get lost since he’s quite unfamiliar with the huge building but then guessed that maybe he knew his way to your apartment. You silently opened the door and neatly placed your shoes on the rack. When you were about to round the corner to the living room, you heard your name being mentioned and for some reason, you decided to listen a bit.
“–I mean, (Y/N) is like the best example of a perfect girlfriend,” you heard Jaehyun said.
“I don’t know anything about relationships but I’m too sure that Yuta hyung is like the luckiest man for having noona,” Mark interjected and you blushed at their sudden compliments.
“Yeah, but I still don’t get why you still complain about her,” your ears immediately caught the words.
Complain? He’s been complaining about me?
“Yeah, Taeil hyung is right. I also don’t get you, Yuta,” it was surely Taeyong who said that. You wanted to just barge in and interrupt them so you won’t hear the words you’re afraid Yuta might say but the curiousity of finding out what the real reason is pushed you to eavesdrop.
“I just- You won’t know unless you put yourself in my shoes. (Y/N) can be very hard sometimes and it’s really getting in my nerves. She’s very clingy and loud, and Jesus, she can’t even cook a pancake!” Yuta exclaimed and your chest had a throbbing ache with every second you stood there.
“You have no idea how loud she really is and I wish she would just shut up because I’m always tired,” he continued.
“Woah, woah, wait Yuta. Where did that came from?” Even Johnny sounded surprised at what he said. You had the urge to already show yourself but then you have to know why Yuta seemed to hate you very much, and hear the words he wouldn’t dare say in your face.
“Damn, I wish she’s like Mina. I mean, Mina isn’t loud, knows when to be clingy or not, knows how to respect my day off, and can even cook a full meal,” the tears threatened to fall as he mentioned the name of his ex, the very reason of your insecurities. You knew how perfect their relationship were but everything ended when both confessed that they fell out of love.
You wanted to show Yuta that you’re always going to support him, and won’t leave his side. You did everything you could do just to make him happy. You always made sure he’s getting enough sleep and eating healthy food because you don’t want him to get sick. You just want the best for him.
But it seemed like you’re just the typical overly annoying and clingy girlfriend for him.
“I just….She’s really different from Mina.“
"But…(Y/N) isn’t Mina,” you heard Winwin finally spoke up.
“Exactly…I wanted her to be like Mina,” And with that, a single tear fell and the throbbing ache worsen. Is this what it feels like to be betrayed?
You just stood there, lips shaking as if you’re about to bawl your eyes out. You stopped yourself and thought that Yuta shouldn’t see you in this weak state.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this but Mina is better than her,” everyone fell silent after his mini confession and you had the urge to laugh at how pathetic you probably looked while standing near the living room. Your body refused to move as the last words he said kept on replaying in your mind like a broken record.
The door suddenly opened and Donghyuck came inside while catching his breath. “Noona! Why are you still standing there? Oh my god, I got lost and I even went down to ask the security guard for directions!” To say Donghyuck was really loud was an understatement.
You closed your eyes. Great, now they know I’m eavesdropping.
“Noona! Come on,” Donghyuck pulled you inside, completely unaware of the tension. You looked around and saw everyone looking everywhere but you. They were all trying to act casual, some even took their phones while Taeyong just kinda sat there like a deer caught in a headlight. Winwin’s probably the only one brave enough to look at you with sympathy in his eyes.
“Uhh…is everyone alright? Why do I feel some weird energy in the room?” Doyoung pulled Donghyuck to his side, probably to tell the innocent maknae about what’s happening.
You dropped the plastic bag in front of Yuta, your tears threatening to flow like waterfalls. You never said a word and silently went to your room to grab your purse and car keys. You heard the door opened and it wouldn’t take a genius to know it was Yuta.
“(Y/N) did you hear-”
“I heard everything, Yuta. And don’t you fucking dare say some sick excuses because enough is enough,” you hissed as you shrugged the hand he put on your shoulder. You struggled to find your phone since tears started to form and clouded your sight. You just couldn’t believe that Yuta would say such thing. You thought you had the best relationship but you thought wrong.
“(Y/N) I didn’t mean to say that.”
“I said don’t! Don’t fucking say anything.”
“Well you deserve to know about it! You just have to listen to me, (Y/N)!” You couldn’t believe what you just heard. You stopped moving and looked at him with disappointment in your eyes.
“I deserve to know what? What, Yuta? That Mina is a much much better girlfriend than I do? That she can cook a hell of a pancake? And that I’ll never gonna be like her? Yuta, you could’ve told me about it even before starting these damned relationship!” You started and you were now bawling from the pent up frustration and disappointment.
“You know how many hate comments I recieved after I started dating you but I endured everything for you. People kept on comparing me to Mina and I tried not to mind them because I know it won’t matter because I’m with you. But hell, I can’t believe I’d even get to hear my own boyfriend comparing me to his ex girlfriend. If that’s your way of getting rid of me so you could go back to Mina then congratulations because you succeeded,” you let out a bitter laugh. And without another word you exited the room and walked past the rest of the boys trying to stay as silent as possible.
You just couldn’t wait to get out and have a fresh air. Leaving seemed to be the only thing you could do. You don’t care where your car would take you, as long as you’re away from Yuta and his unappreciative ass. Well, it surely wasn’t the type of night you expected after spending it with the boys.
“(Y/N), wait!  Where are you going? Come back here!” Yuta exclaimed as he chased you down the hallway.
“Just stop, Yuta!”
“You need to hear me out for a bit!”
“Don’t look for me cause I won’t be back."
And with that, you ran to where your car was parked and disappeared to look for someone who can comfort you in this cruel night.
