Binah refuses to feed from you, ever. you're her love, her most precious treasure, and she wants nothing more than to hold and and protect you from the outside world for the rest of days. how strange- Binah is known for her ruthlessness, leaving corpses in her wake marked from pale claws stained with blood. mortals are but a meal to her, something to satiate her hunger and sadistic tendencies

but with you- with you- there's a constant need to pull you close, to wrap her arms around you and bury her face into your hair. her skin is cold as ice, but with you she feels a hint of warmth in her chest, a light, pleasant spark that comes whenever you lace your fingers with hers or give her a surprise hug from behind. she's fond of you, imagine, a bloodthirsty vampire having fallen for a human. so Binah won't ever feed from you, won't ever hurt you. even when her limbs ache and head burns from starvation, she'd rather kill hundreds of worthless others than to even graze your skin with those viper-sharp fangs of hers

perhaps, if she's lucky, you won't completely despise her when you discover that she's a monster

#just saw a post that was like 'if you have religious or moral objections that stop you from providing certain types of medical care maybe #you shouldn't work in healthcare' (paraphrased) and...#what a way to look at the world tbh #like. they're talking about me i think - i am a conscientious objector when it comes to euthanasia #(which granted has come up exactly twice and both cases in a theoretical capacity only this is not a frequent request to me)#and... i am also a good doctor #last week i told someone that her weight doesn't matter to her health with receipts to prove it and she cried #no one had ever told her that before #and that was something that came from me specifically. that was something i would not trust all of the GPs in my practice - a practice of #excellent and compassionate GPs! - to say #i am verifiably doing good in my job that is coming from specifically who i am as a person #i cannot put that down when it comes to issues i care deeply about #fundamentally the fact that i cannot put it down is what makes me a good doctor #i think that's what i'm trying to get at #the reason that i do well by my patients is that i practice out of my values and my ethics #if i did not stand on that core i would not stand at all #so you can't have it both ways. you can't have engaged and active and compassionate healthcare providers without sometimes those engaged an #active providers having things they do not feel comfortable doing #and it is to everyone's service if they are up front about it and do not try to hide (i am suspicious of people who try to hide this)#i am literally figuring this all out as i type hence the v long tag ramble and also being nowhere near the post that started this train #(honestly in med school we talked so much about ethics as like. abortion! euthanasia! trans rights! and the ethics in practice is the littl #things. do you apologise when you mess up. how do you manage a consult with your patient with paranoid dementia and her child in the same #room at one time - or one by one bc that's fraught too. (that one's on top i had one of those today.) how do you act with grace when #you're a bit stressed and your patient is a bit stressed and the nurse wants to add five more things to your book. the day to day ethics is #SUCH a bigger thing when you come to actual practice.)#this is obviously entirely about me and leans on the fact that i largely do think i am doing a good job i am really feeling my own way #to a Thought. but i think to a certain extent it is generalisable

I’ve read some excellent one-shots but… Are there any longer Steddie fics where Steve doesn’t tell Eddie about the Russian torture trauma and agrees to be tied up but gets triggered by that?

#Steddie #torture mention #I couldn’t write this myself because I don’t do smut and I don't understand BDSM/bondage lmao but like #I had some specific Ideas #Steve not wanting to be difficult or whatever so he just goes along with it #can he hide his panicking? does he make an excuse to run off afterwards?#either way he’d be avoiding Eddie for a while. this wouldn't get resolved that night.#and Eddie might approach Robin about it because it turns out Steve is excellent at hasty exits #Robin would know because Steve would tell her and she’s the only person who would truly Get It #so she would be evasive too. it's not her place to say much.#god and what a difficult conversation for them if it's taken days to talk about it at all oof #as for why steve wouldn’t say anything during #I could imagine him getting really stuck in his head where #it becomes less about not disappointing Eddie and more about ‘there was nothing I could say that would make it stop’#and then he feels stupid afterwards because that wasn’t the case here at all #BUT ALSO. were they dating? or were they just fooling around? either way has its own horrible angst potential.

rewatching mygo bc im very sane and normal about this anime its so clear to see that soyo is just using anon as a means to get to tomori. when anon says she wants to do vocals she just doesn't respond and instead talks about they should get a keyboardist and drummer. even when anon gathers up the three crychic members soyo says "how about the three of us try the band again; me, taki, and tomori" and tomori is actually the one who says she wants to do the band with anon too. pushing against playing haruhikage "that songs fine for practice but we should do something else for the performance, maybe a cover" and even dismissing taki when she wants rana to rehearse with them more arghhghhhg i feel so fucking normal about this anime!!!!<3

i feel like makoto (p5) was just atlus trying to recreate mitsuru's character archetype and failing

#LIKE. HEAR ME OUT #mitsuru is this very put-together person hiding trauma underneath who excels at school and puts a lot of emphasis on it #mitsuru ALSO acts as your navi for awhile and is generally pretty perceptive and caring. she's pretty good at analyzing situations #and trying to play it safe while also taking risks. she's good at balancing that stuff #MAKOTO however. she just comes off as super stuck-up. she's constantly sticking her nose where it isn't wanted and generally #just kinda regarded as a suck-up. she's very high-strung and literally gets the PT's into trouble with a MAFIA BOSS bc she wasn't #thinking. like? makoto is SO driven by her own convictions and ideals that she doesn't REALLY think. she just does what SHE #thinks is right. like yeah she DOES care abt the team and HAS her moments but like. i AM kinda a makoto Disliker tho so :V #i feel like mitsuru actually has that balance of 'popular important figure' and 'actually a pretty kind and caring person' that makoto just #lacks. makoto's too stuck up and stuck in her own ideals to change her mind. mitsuru is willing to change and adapt to new situations #and information. mitsuru isn't as reckless or headstrong.#i mean im am biased i would die 4 mitsuru and don't rlly like makoto but. idk.#ignore my shitty analysis on persona characters these r just things i've noticed #vani plays p3re

currently thinking abt the despair disease and the character analysis potential it brings

#literally the best motive in the whole franchise <3333 #i regularly think abt how it affected komaeda. he got the fucking Liar Disease #why? because he is completely and fully sincere in everything he does #he lies occasionally yes but overall he is honest and hides nothing #he’s an incredibly earnest person. that’s what makes him so scary #and it’s also why the liar disease would be the perfect source of despair for him. makes a lot of sense #personally i don’t believe that despair disease gives you the ‘opposite’ trait #just a trait you would hate to have or is very uncharacteristic of you #i mainly think that bc the opposite of ibuki isn’t ‘gullible.’ but she probably doesn’t like listening to others (punk and eccentric)#so the gullible disease that forces her to always believe what she’s told is despair inducing #and akane! obviously she’s very good at compartmentalizing #she never seems to show fear. ever!#as such the coward disease is Mortifying. she hates being anxious and she hates showing it even more. literal hell i’ve been there girlie #so overall. i think it’s a great way to analyze a character #obvi with komaeda it’s an EXCELLENT analysis tool bc it’s basically a roundabout truth serum #if everything you say is a lie then all you need to do is reverse it and that’s the full genuine truth #so we get confirmation of things with him. like his desire for companionship. and his genuine distress when he wants to tell everyone to be #hopeful but all he can say is ‘despair’- he gets so worked up about it that he collapses #i also like to imagine what it would have been like with other characters #what would hajime have? i’ve seen an honesty disease. i’ve also seen a happy disease #both are great. i think he has a good few options #personally though i think the thing that would stress him out a Ton would be an affectionate disease #not in like a silly friend ‘i hug everyone’ way #but in a ‘tells everyone specifically what qualities he admires about them and is vulnerable to others’ way #i think he’d be MORTIFIED. haji’s a very blunt snarky person #and he does have a lot of affection for his friends but it’s mostly shown in a teasing manner #he’s also quite closed off about his own insecurities. AND he finds komaeda incredibly offputting #to wake up one day and start both genuinely making himself vulnerable and praising everyone nagito-style would actualky be hell for him #maybe call it the admiration disease. or affectionate disease depends on ur perspective #other character have interesting possibilities too (even dr1 + v3) but I Care Hinata so. he gets spotlight for a sec

Nutritious treats (basically fancy shaped dog food) are what I've been giving Zee, who has no appetite right now. Telling her they are treats makes her eager to eat them. I've put them down where she can reach them, so now she is "sneaking" them. The thing is, I can see and hear her very plainly, but she keeps giving me the side eye and acting all proud of herself when she gets away with each new theft. Zee is happy because she believes she is enacting a successful heist and I am happy because she is eating, so it is a win-win.

#it's so funny because she really does think i don't notice #she keeps slinking off the bed and over to the (VERY OPEN) drawer where i keen the (VERY OPEN) bag of 'treats'#and then bringing it back to bed #where she eats it with her head hanging over the edge of the bed #or she sits just under the overhang of the bed #or she 'hides' in the corner (where i have an excellent view)#it really cracks me up
