Mike & Abby Easter Headcannons

• Mike always hides eggs for her. Without fail. Every year. He probably enjoys hiding them more than she enjoys finding them, honestly.

• He's super annoying about not just TELLING her where one is when she can't find it, he'll just go "warmer..." or "colder...!" until she gets fed up and throws empty plastic eggshells at him.

• Abby knows the Easter bunny isn't real. She's not dumb. But it's a fun tradition, and she's willing to play pretend for as long as Mike is.

• Mike never busy himself any Easter candy. He "doesn't need the extra calories". Yet every year without fail, he ends up bumming Abby for candy, stealing a chocolate here and there. (She acts annoyed, but secretly doesn't mind sharing.)

• The first time Mike showed Abby the "draw with white crayon on an egg before dyeing it and the dye won't stick there" trick, she thought he was magic. Now, she draws a doodle on every single egg before dunking it in the colored water. Mike always makes comments on how they look "too good to eat," then eats one before they're even done dying them anyways.

• Once he forgot where he hid one of the hard boiled eggs... until it stank up the front porch. He nearly gagged when he found it two weeks later, tucked into an old flowerpot.

• Easter is like, the one time a year Mike drags Abby to church... If only for the giant egg hunt they host. He definitely has some kind of religious guilt from not going more often, but he's just too busy and tired. (He used to use Abby as an excuse, since she refused to sit still when she was younger. Now that she's older, he could go, but just doesn't care to. Neither does Abby.)

• (Post-movie) He and Abby happened to run into someone dressed as the Easter bunny outside of, like Walmart. And it just so happened to be a YELLOW bunny. Mike jumped two feet in the air and nearly pissed himself, and Abby just laughed at him. The guy in the costume thought it was hilarious to see a grown man so scared of a bunny, and the high-five he gave Abby made Mike just want to punch him. He didn't, thankfully.

How Mike would treat his 💙partner💙 on Easter:

• He'd definitely make you an Easter basket. Nothing super fancy or expensive, he spends most of his budget on Abby. But he'd make sure you feel included and appreciated.

• Your basket would include: Your favorite candy, a pack of gum, something related to one of your hobbies, (ex: guitar pick, yarn, nail polish, colored pencils, etc), a cheesy hand-written note, a few plastic eggs with candy, a small stuffed animal, and a savory snack, like chips or pretzels. He's attentive, and knows what you prefer.

• Depending on how long you've been dating, he might even throw in something a little raunchy... like a pack of flavored condoms, lube, or a "toy". More as a gift to himself than you.

• He'd absolutely let you spend Easter with him and Abby, but wouldn't pressure you if you wanted to be with your family. If YOU invited HIM to spend the day with YOUR family, though? He'd fucking melt. ESPECIALLY if they were warm and welcoming to him. It'd make him cry like a baby to see Abby getting along with the other kids.

Here are just some doodles I made for Mermay! Laurya's the fastest mermaid around.

I got bored one day. Laurya loves sitting in this window in the library while it's raining.

Laurya in her battle gear! I might redraw this one soon.

My first piece ft. Ishani! This one was so fun to make, I love it so much.

My second piece with Ishani! I love this piece SO MUCH. It was my first time using my own alcohol markers, and I'm in love with how it turned out.

This is how I imagined Laurya's return before I really knew what I would do. I call this one "back from the dead"

Another Ishani piece! It's Laurya and Ishani's first meeting, and I love it a lot. I might redraw it though, purely because I did a bad job on Laurya's wings.

WINGS. WINGS WINGS WINGS. This was back when I was amid my wing hyperfixation. I use this mostly as a reference when drawing Laurya flying (fun fact- this piece also drained both my black and my blue-gray markers almost entirely)

Here's a Bio page for Laurya's character, made for a 30-day OC drawing challenge. It was while writing this that I realized how much tragic is in Laurya's backstory lol.

I'm not a huge fan of this piece, but I'll put it here anyway. Laurya loves strawberry tarts! The prompt was "eating favorite food".

This was my first time drawing a close-up of Laurya's face, and I absolutely love it. It came out exactly how she looked in my brain. The prompt was "color portrait"

Just some silly guys! This is the first one ft. Loki. Laurya and Loki thought that the other person was just SO COOL, so they decided to cosplay as each other. I loved drawing the armor from Avengers, it was so much fun! The prompt was "cosplay as favorite character".

A quick little sketch of Laurya practicing her archery. She likes knives, but a bow is a great weapon as well. The prompt was "15-minute sketch"

The prompt was "evening wear" and I said "ahahaHAHAHA-"

In reality, Laurya would hate this, but shhhh, we don't talk about that

She is SO SLEEP DEPRIVED but she has to FINISH THESE BOOKS. The prompt was "sleepy/tired".

I thought if Laurya played any sport it'd be tennis (also because tennis is a sport I actually know some stuff about). The prompt was "playing a sport".

Laurya loves COMMON GRACKLES (my irl sister's favorite animal is a common grackle lol). The prompt was "with favorite animal*.

She is DONE WITH PEOPLE. She loves Midgard, she loves everyone there, but GODS they're ANNOYING sometimes. The prompt was "casual clothes".

Laurya likes to swim, but only if she has her bracelet that hides her wings on. That way they don't get sopping wet. The prompt was "swimming/at the beach".

Laurya in a big, fluffy onesie of a tropical bird! If I had done better on this, it would be great. Tthe prompt was "Onesie of favorite animal".

My first actual drawing of her flying, and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. The prompt was "during their favorite season"

The most recent piece ft. Ishani! This is Laurya's return when Ishani is pissed off about Laurya disappearing and Laurya's just really sad.

Laurya and Loki are trying to look through her apartment storage and Loki finds his old hemet. His face says "Was I really so weird?" I've always wanted to make art that looks like Snapchat posts lol.

The last one, the most recent, and by far the angstiest! Laurya breaks while visiting her old friend's grave in 1987, but he's right there. He doesn't want her to be so sad because of him, because of his fleeting life that ended too soon. Inspired by "In The Stars" by Benson Boone (I have some of the lyrics on there)

Riveting start

I'll start off with little drawings I made of myself. And my god do you see what I'm doing with the anatomy? Do you see how tiny those joints are? That's horrific. Why did I build everyone like that? But Yugo is where I began to find my art style. Will love them forever for that. I've got to go back to simple-shaped heads one of these days and blush/eyelashes on everything

We've got some lovely Smile For Me-related doodles. First is a Flower Kid design. Second was not smile for me specifically, but Face Love (by the same devs). And the last two were my earlier attempts at making comics and scenes. Ft. lancer for some reason.

Here are a couple of abandoned OCs. Pretty boy (Basil) is supposed to be yellow. We've all had that OC whose only trait was being a hot person and that's what he was all about. Didn't develop him much in terms of character which is sad because I kinda like his design. He was created when I was doodling random designs in FireAlpaca. I'll have to show the other doodles in a different post (If you are interested).

THIS GUY I WOULD LIKE TO BRING BACK! Might be kinda basic in terms of like "Weird Core" designs but I still love him. His plot keeps changing though because his design is so strange yet so simple to the point where I could put him in just about any world I wanted to had I gotten bored of the old one. Which is silly bc he's just a depressed news anchor man.

Anyway bc of that, Basil used to be his bf, but isn't anymore. He got replaced with fat peppermint man who fun fact: was inspired by the song Brass Goggles BEFORE I even got into SPG and learned what it was about! How silly is that! Peppermint boy is technically my first SPG OC!

She was a fun one, but I abandoned her too. I think she was too influenced by Frye's character from Splatoon. She was a warrior of sorts. Sort of tribal I suppose. She spoke fast, and in her tribe's language, so many people struggled to understand her. She was very bouncy too. Jumping all over the place. If you know Frye, you'll probably notice that they're a bit too similar to each other. That's usually why I abandon my OCs. When they're too similar to another.

Critter I doodled. Not really an OC, but I still think she's cute

Don't ask me about the first guy. The girl was a mii that was born in Tomodachi Life! Her name is Lily. She is the child of Kris (Deltarune) and Hatsune Miku. She looks silly which is why I love her.

I'm Picasso. Kinda vibe with this ngl. Not sure if I could ever turn this into anything though

Here are some low-effort doodles. Enjoyed the design of the big lady more than I thought. I was practicing drawing bigger bodies at the time. Joints are still KILLING ME but it's not bad considering I had the worst anatomy method imaginable

Here are some higher-effort doodles. Aside from the abhorrent anatomy (WHY DOES THE PIG ZOMBIE HAVE TWO DIFFERENTLY SIZED SHOULDERSS????) I quite like these critters. That mermaid girl had lore too. She could control the dead of the sea. She was lowkey evil. Never turned her into anything though. Also, you can see by that guy at the bottom of the first one, that Bunny's art was starting to take an influence on me.

More thingies! There's the goopy robot which I initially drew as a first attempt at drawing a robot, but then I made it black and goopy bc that's what it was giving. The star guy appears and disappears a few times. I think I wanted to keep them, but the design was very similar to LightLazer so I felt a bit weird about drawing them.

More robot shenanigans. First time drawing Rabbit and The Spine! Cannot believe that my first Spine drawing was in a dress oh my god.

More Bunny-inspired drawings and I'm REALLY kinda digging that weird tiny robot critter. Looking at it now, it's kinda like Spring in a few ways, but it's also completely different from Spring in so many other ways. The limbs are retractable. I kinda like this thing actually. I Oughtta do something with it.

These ones are more SPG-specific. You'll have to forgive me, most of these are from memory. Don't ask me why Rabbit looks like David Bowie in the first one.

And finally, some Rabbit and Spine doodles! Rabbit's doing the "Hey Andy Sweetie" meme. I could totally reattempt drawing that today actually.

Whenever the two of you were together you normally had your sketchbook in hand

You were always pretty private about what you drew and you never wanted him to see, even though he was so curious

Even in class you constantly doodle on the pages of your notebook not really paying a lot of attention.

Cylde would notice you constantly stealing glances at him during the lecture but he thought it was nothing

At lunch, you sat with Clyde and his friends Craig and Tweek

"Hey babe you seemed a little distracted during class, so I got Kyle to send me a copy of his notes for you." Clyde smiled shoving a forkful of food in his mouth and chewing contently

You blushed remembering what had captured your attention during class

"Oh you didn't have to do that, I appreciate it though" You smile scooting closer to him at the lunch table

Clyde just hummed in contentment as he wrapped a strong arm around your waist

After your last class was done you met Clyde by your locker where he always waited for you

You gathered your things and Clyde wrapped his arm around your shoulder as you both walked toward the front doors

But just before you could reach the door Butters came running around the corner and knocked your books out of your hands making papers fly everywhere.

Butters starts to profusely apologize rambling on about how Cartman needed him quickly for some scheme

You tell him it's no worries as you bend over to collect your things

You look down at the ground to see Clyde has already started to gather the papers that had flown every which way

You see his face turn a dark shade of red as he examines a particular piece of paper. the one you just so happened to be doodling on in class

He looks up at your embarrassed face and asks "Is this me?"

"Ha um yeah.." you explain shyly as you rub the back of your neck

He calmly stands up and folds the paper into a square and sticks it in his pocket

Before you can ask what he was doing he spoke up again

"I'm keeping this, I hope you don't mind." he smiles and hands you all the other paper he gathered

"You don't think it's weird." you laugh

"Not at all, I think it's cute you're obsessed with me." He smirks putting his hands on your waist and drawing you in close

"Don't let this go to your head." you giggle

"Too late." he mumbles before pulling you in for a kiss

I also think after his he would want to look at your art all the time

Like all of it even the stuff not about him or stuff you think is "bad"

He is without a doubt your number 1 fan for sure

I can imagine him standing in a Micheals craft sore for an hour trying to pick out a good gift for you

He is definitely the type to go behind your back and swipe some pieces to put in his locker

In between classes, he liked a little reminder of you to look at (but when you found out he had stolen your art you defiantly let him have it)

One day he was at his locker with the boys and Cartman had dared to make a comment about the goofy sketch you had made for fun taped up in Clyde's locker

"Dude, what is that?" Cartman laughed pointing at the picture

"Y/N drew that for me so shut the fuck me." Clyde barked

On your anniversary Clyde tried his hardest to draw something nice for you, he tried to draw the two of you together on your first date.

"Oh it's so cute...what is it?" you sheepishly laughed

"It's us! can't you tell?" he huffed, his face as red as his coat

"Ohhhh I see it now." you smile at him, taking his hand in yours

After that, he vowed to take an art class next year so maybe one day he could draw you something not so shitty

If any of your art was ever displayed anywhere Clyde would hype you up to no end

"My girlfriend is so talented." he beamed at you with pride looking at a piece you made hung up

"Clyde it's just on your fridge." you laughed

The Favorite

I don't think this comes as a surprise to anyone. Faith is so very dear to me she is quite literally a part of myself. She brings me so much comfort and has been an outlet for me for the past like? 3 years?? Gosh look at how far she's come. She helps remind me that everything is going to be okay.

The Oldest

While technically I have some ocs that are even older than her, Cookie is my first self insert lmao. Nowadays I don't think any but a couple of y'all would even know who she is and that makes me a lil sad! She's very special to me and was very beloved by people who meant a lot to me. Very few know me and her story well enough to see how on the nose it is an escape from my own life. Not shown here but she has burn scars on her right wrist/forearm. An exaggeration of my own burn scar in the same place. Cookie has always been there as a way to not feel alone, to see myself in someone who has been through similar experiences and made it out through the other side. To remember why it's so important to keep fighting.

The Newest

Okay maybe not the newest.. but Iris is the newest oc I've actually been putting a lot of time and love and effort into! I love her a lot! I know I still don't talk abt her as in depth as I would like to but I swear she's got more going on than I share. I just can't help wanting to draw her so self-indulgently full of love all the time, it makes me happy to have silly fun! I really really have been meaning to doodle her more vulnerable and serious moments because she's got a lot of grief in her heart she isn't letting out.

The Meanest

I suppose she was going to have to make her debut sooner or later.. okay but I genuinely don't have much to say abt Poppy. She's been a priv exclusive oc for a lil while and she's not developed.. like.. at all.. I ramble about her a LOT but I'm also literally every day scrapping everything bc my ideas are constantly changing so she's fr not ready yet lmao. Even I don't fully know what her deal is yet! But I can confirm she is the most ruthless (should I admit she's my lowkey nuka-world raider oc I made specifically to fuck Porter Gage nasty as hell likeeeee)

The Softest

Maril is my BABY!! She does not have a mean bone in her body and the closest she'll ever get is when she's defending her friends! She's so generous, she wants to help others any chance she gets and sees the best in everyone.

The Most Standoffish/Aloof

Faith is quite reserved, honestly. Becoming Captain wasn't exactly the life she chose for herself but it was the role she had to take on. For Phin, for her crew, for Halcyon, it was something she would grow to take seriously in time. She doesn't like to let on just how stressed and overwhelmed she is until she crashes and burns and has to be forced to rest before her stomach ulcer incapacitates her (speaking from experience, it's excruciating). When allowed to, she's pretty quiet and keeps to herself. She was never exactly the most social person and struggled to maintain any sort of relationship with anybody. She'll eventually warm up to her crew and come out of her shell. Sometimes you just need to meet the right band of misfits who get you.

The Smartest

I swear this isn't just me tooting my own horn. I genuinely built her character favoring her intellect and charm. Her highest levels were in engineering, science, and medical. She's got a head on her shoulders, and she's often pretty lost in it. Faith loves to build and tinker with things and loves reading and learning as much as she can. One her own comforts, really. Maril and Iris aren't necessarily too far off on this one, Faith just has a little more under her belt. (Maril is also dedicated almost exclusively to being a gummi ship mechanic and Iris is best at carpentry!)

The Dumbest

Poppy is by no means a moron and shouldn't be underestimated. But her skills and knowledge are very strong in fighting and survival. She does however qualify as my dumbest oc here because.. she was my melee heavy idiot savant build! Girl never at any point got a single level put into her INT lmao.

The One I'd be Friends With

Hands down Maril would be the bestest friend I could ask for. She would be so sweet and considerate and let's be real.. I'd want to also work on the gummi ships with her. I love my gals but I just know Maril would be a ray of sunshine and a great friend. She'd also love to listen to me talk abt all my own projects and we could build so many cool things together..

here she is y'all, Captain Ronnie. she’s a bastard but she's fun and kind, caring and sweet but also will kill you with her sarcasm or her sniper rifle

she's got a whole head of messy white hair (she's a natural brunette). she got scars all over her body and she's quite clumsy, she doesn't even know where half of them come from. she can be perceived as a bitch but that's just a front (major trust and commitment issues alert) but once you get to know her she's a loyal dog. snappy and witty but also serious and reserved. has a rbf lol but the kindest smile.

just a really quick doodle of what she looks like, didn't feel like drawing clothes so she do be nakey, very much based her off myself for less looks but more personality with an extra lil spice, i have messy all over the place ideas for backstory and all that jazz, i'll probably just slap some tid bits here and there every now and then when/if i talk about her. a couple things for certain are:

Paring: Tsukishima x reader

Summary: Nekoma finally gets a female manager and Yachi makes a startling discovery.

A/N:  ahhh so heres the first part! I'm so excited about this series and I hope y'all like it tooooooo :)

Series Masterlist // Part Two

Yachi sighs as she slips her phone into her pocket. She would rather talk to her best friend all day, but she had responsibilities now. She straightened up and darted to the locker room to change out of her school uniform and into her gym clothes. 

After she was done, she walked to the gym. Hinata and Kageyama where there setting up, no surprise, so she scanned the room for Kiyoko. She still felt uncomfortable using her first name, since she was her senior and all. Once found, Yachi skipped over to her. 

“Kiyoko, great news!”

Kiyoko turned to face Yachi with a small smile. “What is it?” 

“My friend that I told you about got the manager position!”

“Oh how good, that was at Nekoma right?”

“Yeah, I-”

“What about Nekoma?” Hinata perked up and shouted from the other side of the gym. 

Flustered, Yachi responded. “Uh, my friend, she’s their manager now...”

“Oh,” Hinata deflated. He must have been looking for some info on the team or hoping for a surprise visit. “I mean cool.”

“Nekoma’s finally got a female manager?” A booming voice came from right behind Yachi. She jumped and spun around to see Tanaka grinning behind her. “Tora must be excited, good man,” Tanaka commented, beating his chest once with his fist. “Is she prett- ow!”

Sawamura appeared right behind Tanaka and smacked the back of his head. Sawamura closed his eyes, cocked his head, and forced a tight smile. “You mean congratulations?” He said in a threatening tone. 

“Oh lighten up Daichi,” Sugawara commented as he rolled his shoulders. He looked to be warming up. “He’s just excited.”

Sawamura huffed but walked away from Tanaka. 

Yachi spared him one look, then got on her tiptoes next to Tanaka. 

“She’s absolutely gorgeous!” She whispered earnestly. 

Tanaka grinned and flashed her a thumbs up. As he walked away she thought she heard him mutter something but she couldn’t quite make it out. 

“Alright!” Coach Ukai clapped his hands from atop the referee’s podium. “We’re doing receives first. Line up and let’s go!”

The boys all jogged to their respective places while Yachi joined Kiyoko on the sidelines. The boys did receives for a while, then the spikers split off for practice. ‘That’s where we come in,’ Yachi thought happily. She walked over to one basket while Kiyoko went to the other. Yachi usually tossed balls for Sugawara since he intimidated her less than Kageyama. 

During practice, it usually got hot in the gym, despite the cold weather outside. So it wasn’t a surprise when the boys took their shirts off. It used to fluster Yachi, but she had become jaded to it. However, her attention was drawn when she saw a commotion. On the other side of the net, in line, Tanaka was poking at Tsukishima. 

“Hah, nice tat bro, you do that yourself?”

Tsukishima seemed to look confused for a moment before he looked down at his arm where Tanaka was pointing. Yachi couldn’t see what it was from this far away, but damned if she wasn’t curious. Tsukishima was previously wearing a long-sleeved shirt, so there must have been something that had been revealed when he took it off. But when Tsukishima saw it, he flushed red, scowled, and slapped an arm over it. 

“Can it, Baldy,” Tsukishima seethed. He turned around to look for his shirt, but Coach Ukai interrupted him. 

“Tsukishima, you’re up, come on. Focus!” He yelled. 

Tsukishima shook it off and started jogging to spike the ball Kageyama was currently setting. Yachi was confident he would miss it, but sure enough, he hit it over the net. Yachi was still curious about what was on his arm, but when she tried to get a better look, she too was startled. 

“Hitoka, ball?” Sugawara called softly. 

“Oh yeah sorry!” She squeaked. She quickly and sloppily threw him a ball, but he set it up for his teammate flawlessly. “Sorry!” She said again. 

“No worries,” Sugawara smiled softly. She tossed him another ball and set her mind to figuring out what was on Tsukishima’s arm later. 

After practice, Yachi had almost forgotten about Tsukishima’s arm until Tanaka started in on him again. 

“If you didn’t want people to ask about your arm, why’d you draw it?”

“I didn’t,” Tsukishima snapped. He tilted his water bottle to squirt some into his hand and slapped it onto his arm, scrubbing furiously. What remained was a blurred mess of ink. “Better?”

“Geez,” Tanaka threw his hands up. “No need to be so mean.” He started to walk away, clearly done with the surly boy, when Hinata spoke up. 

“What do you mean you didn’t draw it? Did someone else?”

Tsukishima glared at him to and opened his mouth to say something, probably along the lines of shut up, but Hinata beat him to the punch. 

“Ohh! Was it your soulmate? Do you have an ink-skin connection?”

Tsukishima looked like he was deflating. “That’s not a technical term.”

“Besides the point,” Tanaka waved his hand and jumped back into the conversation. “Do you?”

Realizing he wasn’t going to find a way out of this, Tsukishima sighed and folded his arms. “Yeah, so what?”

“Ahhh! How cool!” Hinata cried and jumped around. Nishinoya clapped Tsukishima on the back and Tanaka cheered too. Yamaguchi, who was standing beside him but had been quiet this whole time, just looked uneasy. Tsukishima’s only response was to roll his eyes. 

“How long have you had your connection?” Hinata asked excitedly. 

At this, Yamaguchi perked up. “Since 12,” he stated proudly. Tsukishima glared at Yamaguchi for spilling the beans, but Yamaguchi didn’t seem to care. 

“Twelve?!” Half the boys in the gym spat incredulously. At that, there came a spattering of complaints and curses across the gym. Yachi couldn’t make most of it out, but it was obvious none of the boys could believe he had gotten it so early. 

Tsukishima sensed the envy and his frown turned into a smirk. “Yeah, what of it?”

“Have you written anything to them?” Hinata asked excitedly. 

Tsukishima cocked an eyebrow. “No of course not.”

At this, the entire gym erupted in protest. 

“Does she even know?” Tanaka wailed above the rest. 

Yamaguchi, seeking to comfort the boys, quickly responded. “Yes, yes, I drew a little doodle on his arm during a sleepover a couple years back so she does.”

“Yes, that’s great and all, but its just one thing! How do you know for sure she knows?”

At this, Yamaguchi shut his mouth. He looked cautiously to Tsukishima who was giving him a glare that could kill. “You’re right,” he said slowly. “She may not know.”

Yachi felt like something was off about that response, but the boys accepted it with ease. She guessed that it wasn’t too hard for them to believe that Tsukishima would ruthlessly leave his soulmate in the dark, but for some reason, Yachi doubted it. 

After reprimanding Tsukishima for throwing away his luck of getting his connection at 12, the boys went back to cleaning up the gym. Yachi helped too, but she couldn’t get the scenario off her mind. Yeah it could be a coincidence that she had a best friend that had a similar connection, but too many of the details were matching up. A soulmate that never responded? Such an early connection? Granted Y/n got hers at 13, but she could have had it earlier and not known. Yachi had one more question that was burning on her mind. 

She found Tanaka after clean up and approached him nervously. He intimidated her, a lot, but she had to do this for her friend. 

“Uh, Tanaka-senpai,” she started softly. She knew he responded well to the suffix senpai so she made sure to use it. 

Sure enough, Tanaka puffed out his chest and grinned. “What do you need Miss Manager?”

“I was just curious, for no reason, what was on Tsukishima’s arm?”

“Huh?” Tanaka lost some of his air. “Oh, the drawing? It was a shitty picture of a lumpy, long-neck dinosaur. The best thing about it was that it had a heart on its body.”

Yachi felt like her soul left her body. She heard herself thank him, but didn’t feel it. She walked home slowly, absorbing the information just dumped on her.

Fun fact: Tanaka said “Not as pretty as our Kiyoko” as he was walking away hehe

i feel like i'm being really annoying about it to ppl so i'm gonna vent here about struggles i have that might be undiagnosed adhd symptoms since i don't have a very big following except for two close friends (sorry y'all)

1. hygiene, such as brushing my teeth in the morning and showering, is hard. it's been hard my whole life but even now, i'll stare at myself in the mirror or scroll through my phone as i try to convince myself to brush my teeth. (this may or may not be related, but i hate going to the dentist, too.) with showering, it's hard to find the time. i always make sure to shower as often as possible (which is every other day, usually) or i make sure i don't smell if i haven't because i'm scared of having b.o. with both, i have to motivate myself to do it with fancy toothpastes and mouthwash or nice-smelling shower gels and lotions. I'm guessing this is executive dysfunction???

2. I've been incredibly disorganized my whole life. i once thought i had adhd when i was younger because of how disorganized i was. I've always had a super messy backpack and a super messy room (it's really messy rn) but i always know where everything is. i had a ds for at least ten years but lost it a couple months ago in the middle of playing it. where did it go???? i have no idea bruh. and i lose my phone all. the. time.

3. i'm terrible with procrastinating. turning in projects and essays at 11:59 after bullshitting it either all day or mere hours before the due date??? a constant. having failing homework grades and having ntis in every class, no matter how much i enjoy it??? a constant. i once did a whole project i hadn't started on until the morning of the due date. i worked on it while in other classes and at lunch and turned it in 3 minutes before the dropbox closed. anything that's not what i enjoy or zaps the fun out of what i enjoy, i procrastinate with. I've sat in front of the computer screen and almost cried so many times because i couldn't get myself to type up a scholarship essay, which OBVIOUSLY would greatly benefit me as a broke college student, but it doesn't matter bc my brain thinks it's boring so why not push it off?? because i procrastinate, i tend to overwhelm myself so much that i break down at least once when an assignment's due because I've formed a terrible habit of pushing myself to overexertion to get a project done that's meant to be done gradually.

4. bouncing off that last point, I'm terrible with time management and remembering events/due dates/assignments to complete. I've tried using schedule apps and alarms. I've tried to plan out my days. I've tried forming routines and habits to get things done at appropriate times and it doesn't work. that schedule app i downloaded and spent so much time filling out? completely forgotten in a week or two. i swipe away the notifications and pay no attention to them. since everything's virtual now, there have been important college information zoom calls, but i forget about them and miss them. i can't remember events, due dates, or assignments if i don't write them down. since i meet every other day or sometimes once a week for a specific class in college, i can easily forget something mentioned earlier that week that's due the next week over the weekend. i have to remember to write in my agenda in order to remember to do something important, which can be stressful and convoluted 🙃🙃 so my bad time management results in further procrastination and missed opportunities, which makes me feel awful about myself late at night when all i can think about is what i should've done better or differently.

5. chores and hobbies are... interesting. when i do get the energy or motivation to clean or draw, i will hyperfocus on them. if i finally feel like cleaning, I'll skip breakfast and/or lunch and won't take care of myself until I'm done. same happens with drawing. and as stupid or funny as it sounds, i find getting up to go pee so annoying!!!! I'm in the middle of doing something i FINALLY want to do and then i have to get up to go use the bathroom. i don't want to break my concentration bc it's an inconvenience. then with hobbies (y'know, things i want to do and enjoy) i procrastinate!! I've been trying to watch atla since everyone loves it and i like it too, but i put off watching it and other shows like crazy. i play instruments and love to do so, but don't practice very often and spend a couple hours doing so when i do because i remember how fun it is. when i do laundry, I'll remember to put the clothes in the washing machine and start it. but then I'll forget to either put them in the dryer, take them out of the dryer, or fold them. i often have to rewash loads because I'll forget they're in there or I'll have a pile of clothes sitting on my bed for days because i procrastinate with folding them and putting them up.

6. i am the most motivated and have the most energy at night. over the summer, I'd stay up until 4 or 5 am on a regular basis. I'd be the most productive during that time but my sleeping schedule would be so off because of it.

7. so people with adhd crave things that produce dopamine, right? well i snack on candy all the time. and i mean it when i say it's ALL THE TIME. my favorite one is red hots because they're crunchy and spicy. eating candy helps me focus and is probably a form of me seeking more stimulation, but it's bad because of my teeth hygiene issues and me hating to go to the dentist. i also can't do tasks quietly. i have to be listening to music or watching a video while working on something and there are times when i want to do both while working??? so now when i watch something or listen to music without working, i tend to need something to do so i scroll through Instagram while having the show on even though it makes me miss what's happening sometimes.

8. i don't really fidget much i don't think?? but i do weird stuff while listening to someone talk. in school, i often doodled on my worksheets and got in trouble for it. I'd draw eyes in the margins, characters I'm fixated on, squiggly lines, and would color in my o's. or while listening to a family member vent, i dance around or listen while scrolling through Instagram. i also have a baaad habit of picking at my skin (dermatillomania). I'd focus on picking scabs for a really long time when i was alone and bored and have scars on my face and legs from doing it. I've picked at my face since i was a kid and absent mindedly do it every day.

9. i can get quite distracted and have to ask for directions to be repeated because i won't hear them?? like my brain won't process what someone said until they say it again when i'm actually fully paying attention. my mom will ask me to run an errand for her and she'll need to repeat it to me because i'll get distracted while she's explaining or i'll forget what she said after walking away. i get off track in conversations a lot and can't really listen well when there's a lot of other noise going on, like in cafeterias. i'll be talking to one friend and hear another interesting conversation down the table and pause while speaking bc my attention shifted. i also can lose my train of thought quite easily when waiting to speak and forget what i was saying and not be able to remember it for the life of me. so I'll interrupt sometimes so i don't forget

10. when talking to friends, i feel like i talk about myself a lot. i like to use my personal experiences to connect with what they said and be empathetic to them, but i worry this comes off as being conceited. i heard that it might be an adhd thing i do to keep myself engaged in the conversation.

i think that's all of them??? I'm so sorry to anyone who has to scroll through all this jgjrjrj but i guess it's good to make note of this stuff in some way because i articulate my feelings better when typing instead of speaking. and this'll be helpful to reference when chatting with a future therapist which i will hopefully get soon! and if anyone sits through this and has any advice, I'm all ears!!

Okay so obviously they work for Queen since they work and probably live at the mansion

Their position isn't as high as Swatch but they are above most Swatchlings in terms of position

They do a very specific job and I'd say they're decently known for it to those who come visit Color Cafe

This idea comes from my friend, but we know that the Swatchlings do dumb stuff for Queen while remaining all fancy and stuff

Well, even if Queen genuinely cares about Spectre actually enjoying working there, just for the fun of it she goes "ight bestie well so you can keep your special role and all that make a show for me"

occasionally, Spectre will perform for Queen or any others who might want to watch with either skating or ice skatin

And they fucking LOVE doing this shit!! I mean they already do soe occasional performance or trick or two at Color Cafe but they can go all out here

Wether or not the other Swatchlings enjoy this goes from Swatchling to Swatchling but I can tell that some of them feel absolute dread when Spectre is like AYO WE DOING ANOTHER PERFORMANCE SOMETIME THE QUEEN WANTS YOU IN AND YES WE'LL HAVE CANONS PSPSPSPSPSP

They're already more energetic, jolly and silly than the usual Swatchling and while they're also pretty fancy and composed most of the time they can let their energy out on this

Also like, they do enjoy like, standing out and having attention on them so this is a bonus

Queen does genuinely enjoy this stuff and I am sure at first she was like lmao do this hell yeah sounds fun I dunno but I think she quickly realized yo y'all got talent

Spectre definitely overapologizes and if they screw a thing up they feel BAD BAD about it

They actually wear those protective covers on their knees because I think with how the Swatchlings can bounce with their entire body in that one attack they have

I think they're like... Pretty beefy you know? Like they also deinitely have a hard head like you cannot hurt them that way

HOWEVER skidding down like nasty ass concrete and getting a nasty fuckin scratch on your knees isnt fun anyone who went thru that can say sdfgsrgeth since fallin down on your head on something hard and skidding down a hard floor at high speeds are different kinds of damage

So they wear those since they wanna avoid that lol, they're a skilled skater, but you'd never know

They're also pretty scared of the Maice like the other Swatchlings, they're just so fast and tiny y'know

They probably don't like Tasque Manager even if they're covorkers

They like having fun sometimes and like... Bro... Not EVERYTHING HAS TO BE PERFECTLY ORDERED SHUT UP

They are very talkative and love to talk, and tend to overshare as seen in their dialogue where they cut themselves off from telling a secret to a complete stranger

I think that's how Spectre knows all about the basement since they not only work with Swatch, are good friends but Swatch is also like

Dude yo so there's this creepy ass machine in the basement uh yeah don't let anyone in lol but yeah i helped build it

I like to think when they're not working bc I don't think they all work 24/7 there I think Queen would care about shifts somewhat and the well being of her workers in the long run even if she does stupid stuff with them (together) or tells them to do stupid shit sometimes

aaand while they MIGHT live at the mansion I am not sure i haven't decided yet, but I think they would

They still love coming back to the city often as they grew up there and they think it's a charming place

There's not really a plot or anything in this AU other than just romance/relationship nonsense, hahaha;; This all is basically just so I can draw the vlr characters having a stupid fun time instead of being depressed on the moon.

               -  Kind of like Dungeons and Dragons

               -No inch of the paper is left blank

               -It makes no difference to him if the doodles overlap, they're all beautiful in his eyes!!

Those of you hanging on the fringe and seeing this post pop up, I appreciate your loyalty. I have been buried in the silence for six months. Yep. Six months, people. I looked at my last post, idly curious as to the amount of time I'd let pass since my last post, and had a little sad all to myself.

Six months is a long time to quit the cybersphere. Sorries all 'round.

Anyhoozle, I've done many, many reviews at Compass Book Ratings since last I posted. Check it out:

                I don't know why blogger can't freakin' format, but it apparently cannot, which is why all the books are wonky up there. But look at all the books I've reviewed! (Actually, I did review a fifteenth book, but since I threw up my hands about three chapters in, thinking, "Watch, I bet you anything the next character introduced is ALSO going to be exploring gender identity," I'm not posting that review here. I wouldn't recommend it anyway. To paraphrase Buzz Lightyear: "Gays. Gays everywhere.")

But see. I have been busy, contrary to what my visible life on this blog might say.

In other news, HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER!

I love Google's doodles. They're always so adorable. Did y'all see the one where you could play cricket? That was fun! I really like the interactive ones. I literally waste so much time. Fun news: I got pink eye over the last week. That crap sucks, man! It started developing Friday evening, and it wasn't toooo too bad until later that evening, when my eyes got pretty weepy and freakin' itched and burned.

I went to the doctor promptly the next morning, because it hurt, and am now on medication and doing much better, thanks for asking. I had originally thought it was just allergies, because our pollen is coming down with vengeance (thank you, pine trees), and my throat has been a little sore anyway, and I've been congested and watery-eyed. But when the itch turned into horrific burning and go-away-give-me-a-cold-towel-take-away-the-lights, I figured it was no longer allergies.

We had breakthrough hot weather end of May/beginning of June, which degenerated into really foul weather over the weekend that my sister (whom I haven't seen for...hmmm... four years?) came up for a visit. Once she and her family left, the weather popped back up into the upper 70s/low 80s, with a bold foray into the 90s. So, it is about swimming weather, which we will likely attempt tonight. I will swim, but I may not dunk. Protecting my precious eyes, see?

A few of us are going to a civil war reenactment this weekend. I'm not 100% sure where it is, but I do know the weather is going to be very HOT, and we are camping near a beach. So you can be sure I'm packing my swimsuit. But the reenactment itself should be fun. I'm looking forward to it.

I have been reading bucketloads of manga. Bucket. Loads. Manga is actually rather lovely. I mean, yeah, you get the shapeless wonders once in awhile, but can you imagine drawing an entire story in pictures? That's crazy talented.

    I currently own all of Fullmental Alchemist, all that is available of D.Gray-Man, and I have about half of Pandora Hearts. The wrong kind of half, though. Like, Barnes and Nobles has a bad habit of chronically having the first seven books in that series, and the last five, but totally ignoring books 8-19. Apparently, those twelve are only purchasable online and never in-store. Lame-oh. (Also, I would like to point out that there is a serious lack of Xerxes Break collectibles. What's up with that, manga world? I bet you can't take a walk in freakin' Japan without stumbling over some action figure or another!) I did get my sticky mitts on some pretty cool Fullmetal Alchemist figures, which are proudly on display with my manga collection. I have also come to the conclusion that I think I like the Noragami manga slightly better than the anime. So I can see myself eventually collecting the manga of that. Perhaps not the anime, but the manga has beautiful art and a great main character. But that is currently all for now. So, without further eloquence... God bless!
