i hereby present, the au i thought i would never actually do anything with bc i thought it up purely bc i like fairytales and drawing critters and didnt think anything through beyond that: the Sheep-Reader x Wolves-Sun/Moon au!

where Reader is a small, somewhat outcast sheep from a small isolated Sheep Town in the North who has always had dreams to finding some nice friendly town in the South where they could settle down and sell their wares- clothes, trinkets, and accessories made from their own wool! One day they meet two 'sled dogs' that have been wandering almost their whole lives, doing odd jobs here and there, and, inspired by the friendly one's stories and genuine kindness, they hire the two to be their guides/bodyguards on their journey to the South! The world was much too big and dangerous for one sheep to travel on their own, afterall; even if some hungry stranger didn't attack the sheep, the loneliness of the journey would surely end them on its own. But now, with two new friends at their side and hope in their heart, dear sheep-Reader is more than ready to make their dream a reality <3 (the two sled dogs r not sled dogs) (they're wolves) (lol)

In which Claude goes through a normal day in the Enclosure, explains much of what the background information of the Enclosure is, and shows why he needs out.

WAS Locations

WAS is the Wolves Among Sheep AU

The Enclosure - Run by none other than Richard Sphinx, the Enclosure has a very monochrome color scheme, and is filled with corrupted individuals running the Enclosure for power and authority. It is surrounded by a massive wall that is believed to be impenetrable from both sides, making escape or break-ins near impossible. Civilians are surveilled in everything they do, and those who are labeled as different via mutations are taken to the Centre to be tested and exploited. 

The Centre - The Centre is headed by Tomoe Tsurugi, head scientist and engineer in the Enclosure. It is a scientist experimentation center, where they take mutated individuals and find ways to either make their abilities useful or subdue them by forceful removal. Claude is experimented on there, Felix used to be before he escaped.

The Academy - The Academy is directed by Xavier Ramier, one of the smartest (if not zaniest) individuals in the Enclosure. There, Enclosure residents send their children to learn about the history of the Enclosure and the agenda of perfection in the Enclosure. There, students are ‘programmed’ into being loyal only to the interest of the Enclosure and taught that it is encouraged to report those who are hiding a mutation the Enclosure can exploit.

The Haven - The Haven was started by siblings Plagg and Tikki Miraculeux as a refuge for other mutants and refugees from the Enclosure. It’s protected by state-of-the-art technology designed by Kagami Tsurugi that allows it to stay out of visibility despite its massive size. It provides education, food, and shelter to those who decide to stay; though it also serves as a base for discreet missions to the Enclosure to restock food and water, rescue other mutants and Enclosure enemies, and set up spies within the Enclosure walls.

The Tunnels - The Tunnels are the only way in or out of the Enclosure without surveillance. It was devised by Plagg Miraculeux, who found a way out of the Enclosure with his sister via the sewer system. It is not an easy trek to get through, but with the right strategy and knowledge, a few Haven inhabitants make it through safely to restock or complete reconnaissance missions.

A single pair that were never recorded having participated in the psychosis that effected all the others.

A single pair that were never found, despite--or perhaps because of--the fact they are the first of their kind. The first Geminis ever brought to stable awareness. A creator's first success after hundreds of thousands of failures...not that they know that.

The party was in full swing as Santi sauntered over to the fridge for another beer. He was all grins, hair and eyes wild, as he twisted off the top and gulped down the first few, delectable sips of cold booze. A few drops dribbled out and trickled down his jaw which he swiped away quite easily with the pads of his fingers. Another cumbia came on and he turned only to be faced with the brick wall of one Miguel Garcia.

The expression on Miki's face was indicative of disappointment, maybe something else. Santi was still working on figuring that out. With another pull from the neck of the bottle, the younger wolf leaned on the emptied out doorframe and stared up at el jefe. "What?" He asked, unable to stifle the snicker that roiled up and out of him a the mere suggestion. His eyes fell to the person in question -- a young woman who looked mostly harmless. Maybe there was a bit of hunger in her eyes, but didn't Miki know by now that Santi couldn't see anyone but him?

Tigo swirled the bottle, humming as he looked from Miki to the girl then back again, tentatively and purposefully closing the distance between them until he could feel the heat rising off of Miki's body, smell the heady and familiar scent of him. It would be too bold to reach out and touch, to put his hand palm down over the spot on Miki's chest where his breastbone covered that beating, well-guarded heart -- a reminder that Miki was every bit as human as Santi, too, even if he'd eschewed every piece of that humanity to become the alpha he is now. "Don't tell me you're jealous?"
