this is how i originally saw the end of ep14 bc although dam is horny, its all very new for her so i didnt think that they would have gone all the way,,, but obviously the show felt a bit differently. this isnt edited!!

Lee Dam felt like she was dying. The young woman was overheating from the inside out, an atom bomb that was ready to randomly blow as her temperature continued to increase. In the corner of her mind, a worried little voice would wonder if her hand was too sweaty - if he’d pause to look at her oddly. She was ready to tear her skin from her body to bare her inners to the man that lay between her open legs. Sure, she’d thought about it. What this little bargain that she had made with the mountain spirit could mean for the pair. But the reality was beyond her wildest dreams. Dam would get sucked into the moment, fingers grasping at his own as he drags her in for another kiss. Another touch to her cheek, her spare hand clawing at her freshly made bed as she attempted to hide the torrent of emotions storming through her body. Shin Wooyeo was experienced. The male would slot a leg between her thighs, pressing sharply at her core and then pulling away with that wicked grin spread across his features. Dam can’t help the flush that presses onto her cheeks - presenting the woman like a pretty present on Christmas day. She thinks that his thoughts had been running in sync with her own. Shin Wooyeo looked like he wanted to eat her alive. He catches on quickly, hurriedly using a hand to awkwardly unbutton the rest. Dam’s eyes enraptured until he firmly shoves his leg against her again, leaning down to eat the surprised groans straight from the bouquet of her lips. Mumbling about her cherry lipgloss before she relies on her hands. That spare one leading from the bed to the crown of his head. She wins a whine from the fox, and the excitement bubbles down to the pit of her stomach. The woman can understand his needy gazes now, the rakish way that he traps her. She wants to force more noises from him - see him look at her when she takes his pleasure. Although, this is mildly miscalculated. Lee Dam nearly throws herself off the entire bed when she attempts to sit on her throne. The movies seemed to make a hard action look much simpler behind the glares of cameras and bright lights. She’s unsure if she’ll ever try that again. And to make things worse, her boyfriend chuckles. Trying to hide the laugh behind a sudden palm that presses against his chin. Dam knows that she is utterly unexperienced compared to him, so she only knows one thing for sure. It is planted in the pit of her stomach when she leans into his lap; interlocking fingers on the back of his shoulders. Firm, and strong in her hands as she rocks into him, almost biting her lower lip to mask the strangled noise that threatens to escape. He’s gaping up at her. Jaw cracked in two, extending past his chin as a new sort of darkness seeps into his eyes. He’ll watch her, and in turn, she’ll pull down his hands - settling them against her hips. “What do you have planned?” She’ll respond with an innocent smile. To be completely honest,, she has no clue what she has planned. She’s ever so paranoid around her newness to this whole situation. What. If she moves badly? What if she injures him on accident? She heard that that can happen sometimes. In turn, Dam will expel a sudden yelp of surprise. “You’re overthinking again.” He’d taken advantage of the placement of his hands; slowly dragging her hips forward to rub against the thick muscle of his thigh. Wooyeo will cradle the back of her head, tugging the cranium to settle her body into the crook of his shoulder, hanging her against his front. She notices the sudden blossoming of her flower, blooming into something new, magical as she wades into the safeness of his presence. “You look so pretty like this,” he’ll continue his steady rhythm, a bead rubbing into the stiff fabric of his jeans, “I’ve thought about this a lot.” She simply doesn’t pay attention to his words. Savouring the heat that scorches

her clothed skin from the opened buttons of his shirt. Her body pressed firmly against his as he controls the pace of the tide returning home. He’ll rock her forward again, lifting his knee to flex against the junction of her legs. Dam is forced to sing her praises in his ear. She can faintly remember the pleadings that mimic her own voice, her throat scratchy when a familiar feeling begins to blast through that blossoming flower. Her hands will grip tiny fists into the billowing material of the back of his shirt, and he’ll grind harder into her. The woman can feel his hand snake underneath her shirt, tugging a breast gently from its cup to pluck kisses into the skin - his erection striking a promise for the future between her thighs. “Are you going to show me how pretty you can be?”
The words sound gruff against her lobe, a resounding cry would escape her lungs as a result. She’s chasing that fox up the mountain - taking her own pleasure as she presses her hands around his wrists. When reflecting on the moment later on, Dam believes that shock was on her side. She can’t decide if that look in his dark eyes is surprise or horniness. But she’ll force her cares out the window Her hips taking on a life of their own as they rock against his engored erection. Muscles tensing when she sobs into his shoulder blades, a sweet ending rocking across her body. Dam will let him tuck her into his side. TvN announces CRYSTALLIS’ Jasmine’s appearance in new drama

On April 5, Legacy Entertainment confirmed rumors regarding CRYSTALLIS’ JASMINE’S participation in TvN’s upcoming drama, ‘My Roommate Is a Gumiho’.

Based on an original webtoon, ‘My Roommate Is a Gumiho’ is a rom-com drama that tells the story of a male Gumiho*, Shin Wooyeo (played by Jang Kiyoung), who lives for hundreds of years to become a human. However, his fox bead gets taken away by a female college student, Lee Dam (played by Lee Hyeri), in an accident and both have to live in his house to solve this problem. JASMINE will take on the role of Gye Seo Woo, the younger sister of one of the lead cast. 

The cast will have their first script reading on April 6 and filming will start on April 13. The drama will officially premiere on May 11, and will air every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:40PM KST for 16 episodes.

*A Gumiho is a nine-tailed fox that appears in folklore and legends of Korea.

summary: 21 year old university student lee dam accidentally swallows a 999 year old gumiho’s marble which he used to collect human energy to become human before his 1000th birthday. explaining to dam that if a human has the marble for more than a year it will kill them, shin woo yeo asks lee dam to live with him. (basically becoming her sugar d*ddy).

rating: 6.5/10

spoiler warning!

pros

more of a comedy than a drama (for the most part)

the actors have great comedic timing and the editing style adds to the charm

i may be biased because im in love with her but lee dam is a very likeable female lead

the supporting cast, secondary couple and 2nd male lead are all interesting and fun to watch even if you’re not rooting for them

i loved dam’s friend group, especially her dynamic with jae jin bc male-female friendships are not very common

more on jae jin: emotionally available male characters are not common so seeing him be the sensitive and affectionate person in his friend group and relationship was a pleasant surprise

everyone’s nice to look at what can i say, mr gumiho is hot and lee dam is <3 i’m love her and jae jin has a very pretty smile ☺️

the second half the drama is carried mostly by the secondary couple

the pacing and the filler storylines towards the end got tiring and it wasn’t as funny in the later eps which made the show lose its charm a little bit

i didn’t even like seonwoo much and actively disliked him at first but i felt so bad for him getting dragged into the red string of fate drama even though it doesn’t have anything to do with him. they made him suffer and shipped him away and he just wasn’t that bad that he deserved all that y’know

the age gap: i know i signed up for it, it’s a fucking gumiho show i know, but they emphasized it so much it made me even more uncomfortable. “i cant believe i fell for someone so young” and the niece comment was weird and the student-teacher thing was unnecessary and made no sense after the initial “i’m protecting her” reasoning. they dragged it on for absolutely no reason and dam’s friends being okay with it, made it worse.

i know everyone (including me) is blinded by wooyeo’s attractiveness but his behaviour was sometimes creepy and even predatory? following someone around to “protect them” isn’t romantic and i know this is a common trope but that doesn’t make it okay. his eyes glowing red during the kiss was flat out a No from me like?? why?? and talking about it like he was her prey was gross?? like i know some people are into that and good for you but i just am not. him risking dam’s life to be closer to her a little longer was not fun and sexy, and i appreciated her putting herself before him (but she eventually disregarded that so never mind i guess)

would i watch it again: no but maybe like clips of dam and jae jin bc i love them both

overall: i know this is supposed to be a lighthearted show but i try to be critical of media and i really enjoyed the first half of this show but the second half kinda ruined it for me.
