I like that the Mew Box has a coin. I want those Eevee card sleeves and the V Star anyway. I think the snorlax card sleeves are awesome. But I can't make a certain decision. This is gonna be my Christmas gift to myself this year.

Okay...okay...what are the odds, to not only get two Shinies in one night but it's also of the same Evolutionary Line??? xD

When I saw the Diglet I was like: Omg Blueberry nose yay! And then I saw Dugtrio and was like...wtf?? xD

I know I said I wanted more Shinies but this Sleep-Event had boosted my Shiny luck a lot xD I also got a Shiny Shuppet two or three nights prior

I normaly don't boast about Shinies in Sleep here but I wanted to show off this weird events xD

Mane 6 in PMD Rescue Team, and the pokemon that finds them is a shiny galarian ponyta that has problems making friends with other ponyta because she's green.

I need a name for her but i am deeply tempted to name her Ivy, since Minty is already a pony.

The Mane 6 [and Spike] of course help rescue Caterpie and are grateful when Ivy shows them to a nice place to stay while they figure out what happened.

The rescue team forms expressly because they don't know how to leave and these creatures clearly need help with some major catastrophe.

Rarity would both cherish and internally critique the scarves Ivy gives them all, producing magically woven and fashionable new ones after the base is more established.

Applejack cannot process that the only way to get apples of good quality is to get lucky while foraging. Starts a little orchard outside the base with sheer determination that it'll grow in some day and it'll be easier on the townsfolk.

Pinkie is up to her flanks in new berries to bake with. The town is awash with muffins and cupcakes and cake and pie. She's essentially why every young pokemon has a sweet tooth.

Fluttershy is both in her element--surrounded by creatures-- and deeply out of it. Because everything is a social interaction all the sudden and unlike bunnies etc everyone's a sentient and sapient thing. Everything. Even some of the plants! That said, she's excellent at dealing with Team Meanies because she just. Looks at Gengar and co until they go "err nvm".

Rainbow Dash absolutely tries to speedrun a rescue and trips into a monster house. That said, she is willing to dive headfirst into canyons and dangerous pathways the others can't necessarily get to in time. Though she has deffo used clouds being solid for her to fuck with flying types. A mail Peliper sees her sitting on one, tries to join her for a chat and squawks because it just. dropped.

Twilight would have a field day learning the maps and making logistical decisions. If only because logistics in terrible evolving situations is just the kinda challenge i can see really stretching her brain out. I also see her talking to Alakazam and learning thigns from him, since "Surely the guy that knows everything in the world knows about other worlds". Problem is i feel this would somehow lead to Gengar overhearing Alakazam mention humans messing around and twists that into "Ponies are a thing Humans Made and bc Humans all disappeared, obviously things to do with them are bad luck... i mean, they DO have strange magic powers most pokemon can't even do. Maybe they're cursed."

Spike meanwhile, everyone just assumes he's a fucked up charmander or a kekleon. He gets recruited into the Caterpie and Diglet friend group.

I only collected 40 diglet once and got 3 shiny boxes. I got like 2 others just because I was lucky. I'm sad you can't put anything else in your hide out though. Just having a room to pile statues in there for effects is boring.

But the contests. And berries. And poffins

God I fucking hate it. I do not have the mental spoons to deal with all that bs. And EV training arrrrgh I'm so spoiled by Legends of Arceus

I think I'll just do the main storyline and throw all my favorite pokes in Home and be done with it...

Who are the gym leaders in this region? Who are the major rolls?

Engie is the Steel type gym leader, which is pretty obvious. He'd probably have that one silver/light grey and gold pokemon shiny (I forgot the name) and maybe one other shiny, maybe. . .

Heavy would ofc be the Fighting type gym leader. He'd have a few bear pokemon. Which would include some new bear pokemon that are the fighting type.

Spy would be the Dark type gym leader. He'd have that one crow pokemon (I've forgotten the name), and that pokemon would have a new evo. As in the canon, it's heavily implied that he's Scout's dad. And it would be *confirmed* that Spy is Scout's dad in this au (via post gym interaction)

Soldier would be the Ground and/or Normal type gym leader. He'd have a rocket pokemon and a rocket launcher pokemon (the two species have a symbiotic relationship). He'd have a Dugtrio, with both Diglet and Dugtrio having a new regional from.

Medic wouldn't be a gym leader, but he'd be the professor of the hypothetical game. He'd have healing pokemon, Chancy, the evolution to Chancy-, and other pokemon like that (can you tell I haven't played pokemon in a while??) And, fun fact, in a stealth part of the game (Scout tells you to cut through Medic's lab, as in the last post of this) the player can canonly die! Three tries, and you're out! (Dead)

And, of course, Saxton Hale would be champion. Until Scout beats him, Scout would've been killed if he didn't have a few poitons. And then Pyro beats Scout. So far, I don't have any ideas for Saxton. Ideas are wanted and appreciated!

Edit: Just found the crow pokemon I was talking about. It was Murkrow

Side note of the side track: My game likes fucking with me.

So here I am playing Pokémon Shield again, for the fourth time as you do. And I decide “I’m gonna do an all Electric type run through of the game.”

My friends and I made the Gym Leader Challenge our if this. One type through the whole game.

So I did a Ghost type run through last time, and decided to go with a type seldom used. And switched my time zone to thunderstorm to get a Joltik.

I turned my character to get in the grass to start hunting. And trip over a damn Diglet of all things.

“Excuse me sir! What the fuck!?”

I was gonna run. When I saw it’s nose was blue. And in the two seconds of time I though “did Galatea have a Diglit Varient? No that was Alola! Is my screens brightness off again?”

No turns out it was a Fucking SHINY!

My friends I just entered the Wild area! I only had 4 Pokémon levels 5 to 10! And here is a level 9 SHINY DIGLET!

I haven’t been playing this game for more than 1 hour! And got the 1 in 4,096 chance!

My sister cackled at my odds. I’m just passively annoyed at how dumb this was of a way to find a shiny!

All because I tripped over a Ground Mole in search of an Electric Tic!

big news has finally arrived!! we can finally go swimming!!!

plus some news I wasn’t expecting!!

it actually took me a while to drag myself out of bed. I slept very poorly last night. maybe I was just too excited...but regardless, when I finally rolled out I threw on something simple and comfy and set to work!

of course, my first stop was the shop, where I found my first wet suit!

it’s not that cute, but it’ll do until tomorrow when my order comes in on this far cuter one!!

but I had to get my work done, so I set out on my dailies first, and saying hi to our visitor! I swear...he seems familiar. has he visited before? I can’t remember...

on my way out of the tailors I found Kiki in my newest dress! it looks fantastic on her, I must say!

but finally, finally it was time. I dropped off a few extra items from my pockets and prepared to finally jump in..

but then I saw it!

gotta keep the waters safe...

once I’d cleared the whole beach, I finally took the leap!

it’s so refreshing!! I had no idea how badly I needed this. especially as the days turn hotter.

expectedly, there were new things everywhere!

I don’t know how I managed to pull up some of these without getting hurt, but luckily for Blathers, I did!

some are a little scary before I get to the surface,

with strange textures and moving in unexpected ways,

holding on tightly to where they were,

or outright clinging onto me!

but the water sure is beautiful.

and if Nook and Isabelle think it’s safe, then I trust them, and threw caution to the wind as I hunted for new things.

I almost couldn’t wait to see Blathers’ face when I returned with an armful of strange critters.

he won’t know what hit him!

but boy will it be worth it. and thankfully, they’ll help offset all the crazy bugs I’m sure to find over the next few months. the summer months are always the buggiest.

oh, and I sure am glad my phone is waterproof apparently!! it made keeping track of everything I found much easier when I didn’t have to leave the water first.

I went back and forth well into the evening

still finding all kinds of crazy things.

I even found a giant pearl! it’s so pretty...

but the saltwater started to get to me after a while, and swimming sure is exhausting. I finally returned to the museum, pockets fit to burst with new critters.

and boy, they sure look lovely in the museum!

the back has really filled out now!

I was surprised to see more critters in the tank with the sea angels,

but not as shocked as I was to see a whole school of jellies in the floor!!

finally, after such a long day, and a short little shower to rinse all that salt off, I decided to return to my game. some friends were talking about wanting some hidden ability alolan starters, a gift for finding a certain amount of diglets and having to work with other players who got other starters to get the set. I already had all 3 from a previous event, so I decided to breed some for them.

I briefly had the thought that I might finally get the one shiny of my fairy team that I didn’t manage to get, and after just 29 eggs, I actually got one!

what a day this has been, and what a way to end it. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds!
