#skrelp #i shiny hunted this thing in sv. after i got Properly Into shiny hunting. it was the third-to-last pokémon i shiny hunted for my #all-shiny-dragon-types team. which ended up being dragalge‚ dragapult‚ kommo-o‚ noivern‚ flygon‚ and archaludon #and then i just. stopped. shiny hunting. there are other pokémon i would like to shiny hunt like shroomish but i don't have a ton of #motivation to since i beat the game basically. completed all the pokédexes and finished the story so getting shinies is like. well #what am i gonna use them for. why have them #guess i need to look for another game to play. what's next on the backlog…#i tried mirror's edge since that was on my backlog but i couldn't really get a grip on the controls and got frustrated after about 30 mins #so that didn't work. probably gonna have to play something else turn-based. i like turn-based and strategy games #where i don't have to have insane reaction time in order to play it #NOT you‚ yakuza like a dragon. YOU need perfect guards

Have you ever seen a shiny Pokémon in the real? I've actually caught quite a few myself. They're so cool!! ✨️

Neat! I've seen some, mostly that other trainers have. There was one shiny Duraludon wandering around the Polar Biome that I met once, but he didn't seem very interested in making friends, so I left him be.

Also, love the Jangmo-o line but I have to say. The shinies are just... Bad. Like. I don't like them. They're neon green yellow and it's not a good look. No hate to anybody who has a shiny Jangmo-o or anything, I just don't think it looks good.

now that I’ve done my theory rambling for the day, in other news I’ve gotten back into shiny hunting! Found some sparkly dragons over the weekend

Applin / Dipplin was the first thing I hunted, I love Dipplin’s gold shiny so much and I’m honestly glad they took a different approach instead of repeating the green apple theme

Admittedly I wasn’t really hunting Kommo-o, I just wanted Jangmo-o because I think it’s the only shiny in the line that doesn’t look hideous, but I ended up finding two and it didn’t make sense to not evolve one of them
