why do so many people in amazon reviews want product instructions spelled out with words. most of the time when I see these complaints, adding text to the illustrated instructions wouldn't add any additional clarity.

I get that some people might process information better in the form of text but there comes a point when a matter is so simple that reading any amount of words is more complicated than seeing a visual. like if a coffee table arrives as a tabletop with four pre-drilled holes and four screw on legs what the fuck are these people doing leaving a review saying "garbage instructions don't explain anything". like how did they even figure out how to buy things online.

though I guess these are probably just shit-stirring "this is america and everything should be written in american" types.

JoJo Siwa doesn’t deserve all the hate (and homophobia) she’s getting for her style and music; but she does deserve scrutiny for defending Colleen Ballinger and being both active and complicit in abuse that happened on her TV show. Like the girl has been under the public eye in unhealthy environments all her life; cut her some slack — not too much; she’s still a responsible adult — but if you’re going to dogpile her, then at least dogpile her for the right reasons. Please don’t hurt yourself for my show; go to the hospital.”#But no. She didn’t do that. sorry im just thinking about bcs but like. why not add a few smaller scenes of gus interacting with his own men? why does it seem like, in comparison, mike is almost immediately elevated to a higher status than those two in bcs purely because we actually get to see him having normal conversations with gus? like i understand they might not keep the plot moving as well because of the fact obviously if victor is currently doing something it’s because gus told him to etc. but for the most part all of the smaller interactions gus does have with those two ends up being in a somewhat high stress situation where it feels very tense between everyone. and it’s just like damn! is it always like that?? why do those two even care that much about their jobs if their boss is a bit of a dick? etc. i think even an additional scene or two with those guys (either alone or the both of them) talking with gus in a more normal situation could’ve both added a bit more depth into how gus treats his employees (we got a lot with how he treats lyle and co., but not a whole lot with the illegal side of things), how comfortable vic and tyrus feel around him in a calmer setting, and exactly why they both feel the need to be as loyal as they are to the guy.

and also on the other side of this i don't think it'd hurt to maybe elaborate on their pay just a bit..? i'm not saying to randomly put a number out into the atmosphere but i just mean some smaller things like. do they buy nicer things for themselves? what's their housing situation? what's their car situation? are the escalade / yukon their own vehicles or does gus just use those two for business situations? do they use them when they're doing their own stuff off the clock or do they have their own cars? etc. that can also help with understanding their motivations a bit. don't get me wrong i don't think they should be visibly rich or something because that's not what gus would want but just smaller things! cause it's easy to write their loyalty off as Well they probably get paid super well, which i'm sure is true, but if they don't show a single hint of that then what's the point. even something as simple as giving tyrus a nice watch, or maybe victor having a nicer looking gun, etc. something small like that. because as it stands right now the average 41 year old viewer who watched the show once only knows and will only ever know victor and tyrus as those two guys in the background who do random stuff for gus with no clear motivation. just the personification of "On it boss (salute emoji)". and to be honest this is true for a whole lot of fans who do watch the show multiple times and enjoy thinking about it more in depth, because on screen we barely have anything about the two.

and to be clear i'm not trying to say we should have an episode just for them or something like no i understand they're side characters. i understand we don't need all that. and i understand this is also primarily Jimmy's show. but it's not like these two are on the same level as like, arlo or paige and kevin etc. these guys have been around since brba. victor was literally introduced in the same episode gus was. and they are a huge part of gus's story, especially in brba. s4 wouldn't have been what it was without victor and tyrus. and in bcs, ignacio's situation wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for victor and tyrus as well. and i just personally believe that if their goal with gus in bcs was to go back and elaborate on how everything came to be and show what he was like a few years younger, they could've dragged victor and tyrus into that. and i think his character would've benefited from taking that extra step with those two.

Last night I drew a picture of a tree burning and wrote "change" on the paper. Early this morning one of the restaurants in town caught on fire. Then when I went to clean a house at noon, I found a toy dragon that the guest had left behind.

Look, I don't support banning high-fructose corn syrup. Despite fear-mongering, it's essentially a different form of sugar, only really a problem if you have specific medical conditions.

Unfortunately, I happen to have one of those medical conditions and every day I have to navigate avoiding high-fructose corn syrup in the fucking Midwestern USA, I get just a little bit more radicalized against it.

#is it the healthiest sugar? no. but like I said only a proper problem for specific people #I think the way to go is probably incentivize companies to forgo HFCS in favor of regular table sugar #hell I'll accept regular corn syrup bc that shit is just glucose #unfortunately that sort of incentive program would require state or federal action #the feds are busy with other things and the only states that might take steps against HFCS #are the populous coastal ones that I have zero interest living in so...#geez I just want to be able to confidently have a Big American Drink or ketchup at an American Diner without getting a tummy ache #seriously I miss ketchup on my burgers so much #I can have ketchup but only if it doesn't have HFCS and restaurants don't typically stock that kind #bc it's more expensive bc OF COURSE it's more expensive to use regular fucking sugar instead of chemically altered corn syrup #speecher speaks

#one of the last times i got it i tipped the doordasher $20 #cause they said they only made like $6 odf my order #i went “absolutely not”#$5 of that was my original tip #didnt care that the restaurant wasnt that far away #no no someone is not make no $6 off my order #you can have $20 for the kindness of bringing me my favorite food #i hadnt realized how shit the pay was til then #so i try to only order DD when i can tip real well #no ones making less than minimum wage when they do a service for me #nope nope nope #i even pay my Arabic tutor $15 an hour even though he only charges 7 and $15usd is almost $100 in libya according to him #i dont know why im rantinf about paying people #but yeah no tip delivery people better

Reunited with Esther for hot pot lunch hehehe ^_^ it was so funny because I was walking behind this random person on my way there on the street and then Esther went up to them because she thought that person was me HAHAHAHA help??? XLK was decent as usual but I kept ordering tripe but they kept not coming and they didn't even tell me they don't have it :-( kind of sad. And then they kept giving us food that we didn't order??? Anyway I never think it's worth it for me to do AYCE but XLK is so expensive usually anyways so either way I save money I guess LOLS.
