I stopped short to take this photo because this name is all-around unusual. Reading-wise, 指宿 is pronounced Ibusuki here, but it could also be Ishiyado, Sashiyado, Shishuku, Shijuku, Shiyado, Yubiyado (this would've been my best guess), or Yubisuki. Anyway, you could've given me a thousand guesses and I never would've come up with Ibusuki.

Meaning-wise, 指 means finger or point/indicate, and 宿 means (loosely) inn or hotel. Hmm! But apparently this name comes from the city of Ibusuki in Kagoshima, which is famous for its black sand hot springs! It seems that the kanji are a corruption of its old name of 湯豊宿 Yuhosuki, as it was a 'post town' 宿 that was 'rich' 豊 in 'hot springs' 湯.

do you have any artist who’s designs of genshin character you really like? i was just thinking of how much i love ur designs and portrayals and was wondering if you get inspiration from anyone else or have anyone else who does similar work u look up to

erm you know what i cant really think of any! i just think fat people and old people are hot and i also bounce off my mutuals a lot but other than that i can't think of any outside influences or inspirations in terms of designs lol. I know it doesn't answer the question really but i do like shiyado's art style a lot its very cool <3

okay so eimiko is definetly my favorite wlw pairing and in general one of my favorites because they are just so funny. they obviously care about each other and its in a way i know a lot of ppl dont get where theyre jokingly rude to each other but really they care so deeply and love each oher and i want nothing but good things for them even tho its kinda cringe yae waited 500 years for a girl who was busy with her own shit.

beiguang also grew on me because theyre also very funny and remind me of bayonetta and jeanne. rich aunts who show up to the holiday party and give the best gifts. they also obviously like each other a lot and they have such grandiose ways of showing it.

sucrose x rosaria probably counts as a crackship but i like it a lot! i imagine sucrose having a crush on rosaria but is so intimidated and i think rosaria would be like. genuinely interested in conversation and stuff with sucrose. i think they have a lot of potential.

for mlm pairings im lame im sorry zhongluc is my favorite! yes i follow shiyado on twitter im sick in the head! all the reasons i like them u can find on mspaintpics on twitter which is their side acc where they ramble about zhongluc too.

chaeya is also good and i think i like them a lot because my bf likes them so much. i also like them with thoma as well but on the topic of just chaeya they have so much trauma and they should just kiss or seomthing bro i thinik theyd get along.

gorou x kazuha is like. normal i like them theyre just n ormal guys who like each other a lot. i like gorou x itto and kazuha x thoma etc etc but i think gorou x kazuha comes out a bit more on top because i more consistently like the content people make of them and i think its funny they for sure both get carded whenever they go to bars or whatever

(also zhongluc and chaeya probably also count as crackships but whatever)
