oh my godddd. its insane. people are insane. primarily its because of the finale and her making a deal with bill so she and dipper can stay in gravity falls (an example of her primary flaw and fear of being left behind! because she is a little girl!) but also theres some bullshit with the time travel episode with waddles because people think dipper actually deserved to get with wendy more than mabel deserved her pet. you can find shit if you look around hard enough she was hated sooo much a few years back

i only know about the shazam movie because when the first movie came out like some years ago two very popular brazilian youtubers i watched were talking about how they were invited (?) to show up in the background of a few scenes in the movie and were presenting it as a fun cameo for people to notice when they watched it but then when the movie actually came out they ended up cutting like 90% of the scenes they filmed so they are visible in the background for like 1 second. made the experience of watching it much funnier for me

the funniest thing to me about your love for kid characters to be your younger siblings is the fact youre a teenager yourself. youre out there acting like a tired middle aged man protagonist of a movie who has through plot shenanigans learn to bond and care for a kid under his protection and then the character youre talking about is like a year younger than you

this is how i am with kids irl too im both the youngest sibling AND the youngest cousin so the only kids i interact with are family friends a few years younger than me and i try to channel how i wish my older sister and cousins treated me when i was younger. i show them cool movies + compliment their art + dont talk down to them.. I WAS SO NERFED WHEN I WASNT GIVEN A LITTLE SIBLING :(((
