Imagine you're a high schooler about to graduate, you take a bike ride through open fields, and you find a pink alien thing that FELL FROM THE SKY. And your first thought that comes to mind?

"I don't know who or what you are, but I'm gonna marry you."

Honestly, probably gonna write a 1987 TMNT fic about Shredder and Krang in divorce court. Mikey's the divorce lawyer.

On the right we have an average, healthy Utrom, who can use the stinger on the end of their prehensile tail to hijack the nervous system of other beings.

On the left we have Krang the Exile, who is neither average nor healthy. At some point he replaced his tail with a cord that lets him take direct control of his machines, though it’s unknown if he lost his tail or got rid of it deliberately.

He was exiled to Dimension X because he essentially single-handedly won the Utrom civil war by creating a deadly compound designed to make Utroms break down on a genetic level. The winning side decided that anyone able to create a weapon like that was to dangerous to keep around, dumped him and all his equipment into Dimension X, and put out a Kill On Sight mandate out to all Utrom territories, which greatly expanded as time went on since apparently the side willing to wipe out their enemies with chemical warfare and throw their greatest war hero under the bus were also the type of people that would decide to be intergalactic conquerors, to the surprise of no one.

Eventually Krang managed to break out and ended up on Earth, joining the Foot Clan because they were willing to take him in instead of just running away screaming like most humans (and because their leader was kind of hot for a primate). It also turned out that since the compound he created specifically targeted Utrom DNA, it affected other species very differently, mutating and splicing their genes instead of melting them into primordial ooze, so that’s where Mutagen comes from here.

Also this stuff is from the same universe as my previous post about Splinter and Shredder still sort of being friends. So there’s that.

ARCANE X INFECTION ROTTMNT AU

AxI Rottmnt (Arcane x Infection Au) follows the story of Aho, Lee, Donnie, and Ray As the main protagonists.

It follows a very similar story line to Arcane with a few twists! One being the Krang infection (replacing shimmer) as a threat to Topside. The undercity seems to have some form of immunity to it however, making it a wonderful weapon.

All things seem to get worse when Aho, an undercity criminal under the rule of the undercities top dog: Draxum, starts causing havoc as the hex stone is stolen, Leaving a realm of paranoia to be cast at the possibilities it could be used for.

It only gets worse when investigations for the case only dig deeper for finding the true origins of the mystery criminal, Usagi finds a prisoner from Stillwater: Lee who might know more about this then he’s letting on.

Ray, the creator of the hex tech is thrown into panic and responsibilities that she isn’t sure he knows the answers to. Only sinking deeper into trouble as the origins of his past are uprooted, and shown to the world.

While Donnie, leader of the fire lights is desperately trying to keep his people safe and out of trouble, the only one who knew the full story to what truly happened with the hexgem incident.
