Aw man I have an idea for a “Leo spends a lot longer in the Prison Dimension” divergence.

The way the Prison Dimension works is that it essentially keeps you alive so long as you haven’t completely broken.

Leo, despite how sure he was that he was going to die, didn’t want to, and that’s all the Prison Dimension needed to keep him “alive” and “resetting” him. His body is kept in the exact same state he was in when he entered the dimension - messed up, but mostly okay.

Also, Leonardo “jokes are how I cope” Hamato eventually uses his newfound “oh I can’t die” status as a way to relentlessly quip at Krang One. Sure, he “dies” many times doing this, but eventually he just treats it like a game. How much does he have to fuck around until he finds out?

The amount varies.

He’s thankful that his (Casey’s-) photo is still intact, though at some point he has to etch the names of the people in it (his family-) into the walls of whatever building rubble he called home.

Sometimes he and Krang One talk. It’s almost nice, at times, having another being there.

Leo doesn’t know what to think of this.

The nice feeling always ends with his “corpse”, anyway.

Leo’s eventually saved, of course, and he’s brought back home and he smiles, smiles, because of course his brothers saved him! Of course he got out! He never gave up, not really, so they didn’t either-

And then he noticed how tall they were. How Mikey had hair, how Raph’s scars had long healed, how Donnie’s tech was more advanced.

Six years, they tell him. Six years.

And Leo looks the same. Just as banged up as ever, still a mess of bruises and cuts that he’s grown so familiar with. (And it does not escape Raph’s eye how dark the ring of bruises around Leo’s neck are-)

And it’s fine! It’s fine. He just needs to play catch up, now. He’s technically six years older too, right? Only his body is sixteen. His wounds will heal, and he will grow up too.

Only that doesn’t happen.

Because here’s the thing about the Prison Dimension: it’s grown fond of Leo. Six years is nothing to it, but Leo was new, different from what normally comes through. Leo was a bright blue light that only grew brighter with time, coming back from where it was almost snuffed out. So, a piece of the Dimension attaches itself to Leo’s soul, living yet not, and he remains as he’s been for the past near decade.

His wounds do not heal. He does not grow.

He exists more than he lives. And in the back of his mind he can hear Krang One screaming.

He wonders if his own screaming was heard back.

Triceraton height guesstimate

I went back to the Rottmnt movie for the umpteenth time to get some screenshots of Krang one's mech suit for drawing references when I got a glimpse of the Triceraton skull Krang One uses as a throne. And that got me thinking, How tall would the Triceratons have had to be in order to match their absolutely huge skulls?

After doing some guesstimating with Leo and Krang one as a reference to compare heights, and using the 2k3 TMNT Triceratons. I have gotten some numbers. Probably not accurate at all, but it's all in the name of fun xD

So. Leo is 1.65m or 5'5" in canon height. Krang one's guesstimated height is about 7.15m or 23'5". (Does he have a canon height??) Triceraton's height I'm guessing is around 55.2 meters or 181'1". That's my take on it at any rate. Do with this information as you'd like 😂

On another note. How the shell were the boys supposed to fight those monsters??? Like holy shell. Donnie would have had to get uranium and make them mech suits or something, yikes, terrifying just thinking about it.... And does the skull throne mean that the Krang have already killed off the Triceratons? Or is that just a hunting price?? Who knows, it's an interesting thought none the less.

Also if the Krang actually has managed to kill off this gigantic alien race, that makes them all the more terrifying an enemy... food for thought.

Purple Prime AU

AU where Donnie is connected to the technodrome has Donnie's mind infect the krang hive mind, slowly corrupting the krang. The reason Leo survived being beaten in the prison dimension is because Krang One was subconsciously pulling his punches. After all, Donatello doesn't want his brother to get hurt.

Krang One has to deal with Donatello's worry over his brother getting injured and the confusion of why he's feeling guilty over crushing some lower-form pest that trapped him right back in the prison dimension.

Krang One eventually traces the source to Donatello and pushes back with his own bloodlust, thirst for violence and world domination, and the desire to kill the other turtles.

Donnie: Same, but April says I'm not allowed to.

Give the krang Donnie's need for approval and validation. Donnie offhandedly tells Krang One how amazing he thinks their tech is. Krang One just basking in the feeling. He demands more! More praise! . . . Please?

Since Donnie's mind is strong enough to give influence and block it out, and he was part of the team that defeated the krang, the hive mind starts to see him as the new being in charge. Donnie doesn't know it but the krang will now follow any command he gives, even if it means their death.

Since it's more of a mental connection there isn't much physically different with Donnie. Most of it is in the parts of the technodrome still inside his shell, connected to his spine, nerves, and brain. Only viewable with some kind of X-ray or something of the like. Though there may be a few more changes in things like the way Donnie carries himself. Even if he doesn't know it he's the new leader of the krang and carries himself as such. He bows to no one.

Krang One was the one affected most because he interacted with Donnie and the technodrome when pulling Donnie out. Donnie's influence is like getting sick. He didn't even realize he was infected before it already spread too far into the hive mind to be removed. Was thinking of possibly giving the krang purple Marks like Donnie's to show infection.

At first, not even Donnie knows. He knows he's still connected to the krang but since it's not doing anything to him or his family he mostly ignores it. His family is injured and needs his help. He can work on this later. When the family does start noticing him acting differently they think it's just because he's stressed and tired. He has been working practically nonstop.
