Neocities is really neat tbh, you just see a wide variety of sites about quite literally anything. From personal sites with dedicated art pages and links to "whatever I feel like using this site for"

It's honestly a great change from the same sites that exists

Why do so many doormats have unnecessary words on them

#had to buy a doormat for the first time since my apartment has an outdoor entrance #and there was a nice sort of ombre one I really liked until I pulled it out and saw it said 'hello' in big ugly cursive across the bottom #all the interesting ones either have annoying text (thankful? on your doormat??) or like...dogs??#nothing against dogs but I don't have any and I'm not a big dog person generally #I just want an aesthetically pleasing object with no text or kitschy pictures #but no. I just got a solid blue one #SIDEBAR why does the Merriam-Webster site look like that now
