Eryton/The Torpedo is the youngest / most recent of my ancestors, having died only about twenty sweeps before Sharle was hatched. So Sharle is his direct descendant

Fleure/The Tidality is the oldest both in age and time period he was hatched in, as he was alive before Her Imperious Condescension’s Empire conquered Alternia and then moved on to colonising other planets. However Linnae is also his direct descendant despite them being at least a thousand sweeps apart, as Ishimis are just that rare of a bloodline

all my other trolls have at least one other member of their bloodline hatched between them and their ancestor, though I’ve only kinda conceptualised two of them: Lusien’s older signmate Leyjar (who raised him until he was old enough to live independently, and now works as a navigator on a Fleetship), and Sigrun’s older signmate Adelie (who lives off-planet and works as a gondolier tour guide after she retired as an Orphaner, and is not aware of Sigrun’s existence)

zotick: cis male, happily wears fem clothing (primarily miniskirts and crop tops) but is very comfortable with his gender and does not use a gnc descriptor. finnster gender

soroll: gnc male, identifies as male and uses he/they pronouns because male is a close enough descriptor to how he feels. will wear both masc and fem clothes, and presented more fem when he was younger because he loves scene fashion and found secondhand womens clothing from that subculture easier to come by

ananta: amab agender and uses any pronouns. could not care less about gender or presenting in any particular way, and has no opinions as to how other people perceive them. theyve been called a man and theyve been called a woman, neither of these words have any meaning to them

ashell: trans male, uses exclusively he/him pronouns. socially transitioned at a young age (presenting as male, going by a new name, starting vocal training to speak at a lower register, etc.), then sought out trans-affirming healthcare (top surgery and T) when he was older but stopped taking T after he died because it no longer had an effect on him. presents exclusively masc and is uncomfortable wearing skirts or dresses

ariete: trans woman, uses exclusively she/her pronouns. also transitioned at a young age (socially + medically), and since her lusus has seen so many qurioes discover that they're not cis knew exactly how to help her seek out all the resources she needed asap. generally presents fem but also enjoys masc fashion with a feminine flair

celise: afab non-binary and uses they/he pronouns. the most theyve really thought about their gender was 'well im definitely not a girl' and then got top surgery in their late teens/young adulthood. presents androgynously, leaning more towards masc but in a sickly victorian man way

fannar: afab agender and exclusively uses they/them pronouns. has only transitioned socially as theyre concerned that their weak immune system may cause further complications. experiences dysphoria, and binds their chest + wears a lot of layers to present as androgynously as possible. their mask both protects them from the cold weather and helps to muffle their voice. detests being referred to with any sort of gendered term

lusien: gnc male, identifies as male and uses he/they pronouns. like soroll, male is just the closest identifier to how he feels about gender as he doesn't feel like a cis man but also doesn't feel particularly nb/queer either. however he still does present masc and has no inclinations into trying out more fem or androgynous styles, gender is just a vibe to him

glasya: afab non-binary and uses they/she pronouns. considers their gender to be 'yes im a girl yes im not a girl', and has no desire to go on hrt or get top surgery. they may bind if they feel like an outfit would look better with a flat chest, but more often than not this is not the case. no preference towards presenting masc/fem/androgynous, though in a formal situation theyre more inclined towards wearing dresses

sigrun: amab agender and uses any pronouns. whats a gender theyve never heard of it. no opinion on their body whatsoever, it is just a vessel used for swimming and hunting animals with. presents masc just because thats how theyve always been, but would not be opposed to feminine styles in the slightest

linnae: gnc male, identifies as male and uses he/they pronouns. literally only identifies as male because thats what everyone else calls him so that's what he's the most used to. will wear whatever they want with no regard as to whether its masc- or fem- presenting and would find the concept of gender presentation to be strange (and then worry that theyre the strange one for not being taught these things), as its just pretty clothes to them

havent drawn anything in a while so. Quick Doodle Time

one design exercise i like doing is randomly generating two of my trolls and then fusing them together, which has made me realise that A. zotick + sigrun creates the worst horn combination ever, and B. viltau is just a fancy leithe

i named them zotrun and leitau but sigick and vilthe also works LMAO

writing this Big Profile Doc has made me realise that barely any of my trolls have pets

liiore’s got his two guinea pigs

zotick owns an ant farm and keeps bees, as well has having a whole slew of other pet bugs and reptiles

charon attempts to raise birds, but the local birdlife doesnt like to stick around in the cages he leaves out

ashell and davitt both have cats

daimon adopted a dog after his lusus died

vallis has an entire aquarium of sea creatures at his hive

and sigrun kiiinda has pet penguins alongside their lusus?? tho theyre more just penguins from their lusus’ colony/herd/whatever-the-fuck-the-collective-noun-is who also stick around and siggy knits sweaters for uvu

my gut instinct is to go with mikiel purely on the basis of raw power, but since miki is miki ill inevitably end up accidentally pissing him off in some way and then also getting killed lmao (or just becoming collateral damage since his psiionics arent exactly the best at precision attacks)

otherwise id say probably either daimon or shirei since theyre both highly skilled in combat while also being the type who would do everything in their power to protect someone. but between them i think id pick dai just because he’d be more fun to chat to / hang out with during the downtimes between Everyone Trying To Kill Me, even tho shirei is probs the technically better option

or id just go w. sigrun, because literally no one would be willing to fight them on their home turf and i get to hang out with penguins as a bonus lmao

second half of the superhero pair! siggy’s design is somewhat obviously inspired by different iterations of marvel’s thor, as well as vikings / norse mythology in general

like charon, they don’t have any superpowers to speak of, but they possess the legendary spear gungnir (whose design is an amalgamation of a bunch of designs i found on google, then made 150% more Anime(tm)), which provides them with all the strength and magic they need to save the day

liiore likes chillwave and other forms of low-fi music. he also doesnt mind future funk, and some k-pop and j-pop

raesul likes rock and punk music, both of the modern variety and older 50s + 70s stuff. since she likes that 50s aesthetic she also listens to a bit of swing

dismas ironically listens to edgy amv music

aislin listens to almost exclusively anime OPs and EDs, but she likes a bit of alt rock too, mostly bands like paramore and icon for hire

eichio likes whatever music the people around him likes, but he listens to a lot of cheery pop music when he’s on his own. mika is his absolute fav

zotick likes 70s/80s rock, as well as any sorts of pop and alternative music thats loud and easy to sing along to. he also likes meme songs

soroll loves screamo music like black veil brides, a day to remember, senses fail, and bullet for my valentine (which idk if they actually count as screamo or are just heavy metal but im basing his taste off people i used to know who loved screamo). he also still has an embarrassing love for blood on the dancefloor from his scene phase

charon unironically listens to edgy amv music

callan loves musicals, and has memorised an obscene amount of broadway songs. for some reason i also picture him really liking those mid-2000s dance music, like benny benassi, alex gaudino, shiny toy guns, or early david guetta. yknow the ones with those unnecessarily sexy video clips? that type of dance music

somerl doesnt really listen to a lot of music aside from like, sea shanties. boy loves his shanties

ananta likes chiptunes and video game soundtracks, particularly the soundtracks from indie rpgs

rosato listens to 80s new wave, as well as eurodance music

redeti exclusively listens to music that plays as insert songs on his crime shows. he can identify the exact moment each song plays in an episode of csi

mikiel is the Biggest Classical Elitist Ever, but he also doesnt mind bands who are known to be either pioneers of a genre or are considered to be the best of the best, such as the beatles and queen

aiolos listens to literally everything and doesnt have a particular taste in genres aside from anything with a good beat, but he really likes those watered-down radio friendly ‘rap’ artists like flo rida and jason derulo. unironically loves eminem

but while ive been traveling ive been thinking about updating some older troll designs a bit, mainly just giving some more variety to my seadweller’s fins. theyre somewhat inspired by their lusus’ fins(/flippers in the case of sigrun), but still keeping the usual style i draw seadweller fins 

since i didnt want to take my copics with me im a bit short on colour pens rn, so siggy’s looking more landdweller indigo/purple than the seadweller purple/tyrian theyre supposed to be
