The front page of French newspapers devoted to the coronation of Their Imperial Majesties, Emperor Napoleon V and Empress Charlotte of the French. Most of the media agree that it was a triumphant coronation. Everyone is now waiting to see what the young emperor's reign will be like. Napoleon V had not yet announced any concrete political measures.

It is 3AM, I stepped away from my desk for 5 minutes to get food and when I got back TS4 was closed. I don't remember closing it, but that meant everything I worked on for Logan was gone. So keep in mind that this sim does not exist anymore! But I still wanted to show you guys this because I was really excited to make it and, luckily, I took screenshots before the program abruptly shut down. In hindsight, I should've saved my progress before stepping away...

Bonus: Logan mentioned loving cats in Big Time Mansion, so I decided to give her this cutie. His name is Toast!

Karen: Hello and welcome to INNs live coverage of the royal wedding between Prince Robert and Lady Alexandra Sinclair.

Today is the culmination of a proper royal love story. It all started at another royal wedding - between the Prince’s brother Crown Prince Charles and Lady Alexandra’s best friend Princess Victoria.

Over the past four years, they had managed to keep their relationship under the radar until the couple was spotted walking hand in hand through central Windenburg. Lady Alexandra was then invited to attend The Queens annual carol service at Lancaster Cathedral - a clear sign of approval from the Royal family.

They announced their engagement to much joy five months ago and since then, the countdown to the wedding of the year began, with announcements of wedding details followed closely by royal watchers.

We now go to our correspondent at Windenburg Cathedral, Marissa how is the atmosphere out there?

Marissa: Thank you Karen - the excitement out here is high, waiting for the wedding party to arrive. Guests have been arriving over the last 30 minutes or so, from politicians, friends of the couple, to organisations that Prince Robert is a patron of.

We have some family arriving now, the Elderly Princess Amelia, supported by her sons, Prince Arthur and Prince Frederick, along with their families. Princess Amelia, the Kings Aunt, is currently the oldest living member of the Royal Family.

Her husband passed away 17 years the, but she still lives in the home that she was gifted by her brother King Edward II. Prince Arthur still does engagements on behalf of the Crown, but his brother Prince Frederick now lives mostly as a private citizen.

Exiting a car now is the Duke and Duchess of Laughton

They have stopped to speak with Prince Frederick, and his wife Lady Frances Atherton. For those unfamiliar, the Duke and Prince Fredrick both went to school with the King, and the Duke is a member of the privy council, a group of the Kings closest advisors.

I have here with me a former co-worker of Lady Alexandra’s - Keeley, thank you for talking to us on this very special day.

Keeley: You are welcome Marissa

Marissa: What was Alexandra like as a coworker? Were you close?

Keeley: Oh absolutely! She was super fun to work with, and we had girls lunches all the time.

Marissa: You worked together when Robert and Alexandra first met yes?

Keeley: I remember when she first met him - totally gone for him, I mean - heart eyes all over. She was obsessed. I'm not surprised we all ended up here - only that it took so long!

Marissa: So there you have it - love from the very beginning!

Now we are starting to see some foreign arrivals to the Cathedral –

getting out of the car now are Their Royal Highnesses Prince Oliver and Princess Hortense, the Duke & Duchess of Rothsey. The Princess is looking beautiful in a red gown and traditional tartan while Prince Oliver is wearing a traditional tartan kilt

Here comes Their Royal Highnesses Princess Eleanor, and Prince Ryland, the Princess and Prince of Westburg, dressed in Trenton purple for the occasion.

Princess Eleanor is wearing the delicate Danielle Bandeau tiara, commonly worn at significant overseas events by both the Princess and her mother Queen Elizabeth.

Their Royal Highnesses Prince Jacques and Vivienne, Duke and Duchess of Laye have now arrived at the Cathedral representing Armorica.

The Duchess is a close friend of Princess Margaret and made a very public visit to Illyria during Fashion week, attending many shows and parties with the Princess. There was no confirmation if the Duchess’ young son or husband travelled with her during that trip.

Karen: Here with us in the studio is Royal correspondent Miles Hightower, who has covered the royal family for over thirty years - Welcome Miles

Miles: Thank you for having me

Karen: And welcome Nancy Fortuna, author of the best selling book “King George: A Life of Service”

Nancy: Great to be here!

Karen: Miles, you have seen many a royal wedding in your time covering the royals

Miles: I certainly have! I was outside the cathedral when His Majesty married then-Lady Elizabeth Lyons. Weddings are such a celebratory occasion and a great chance for the public to participate in such an important family moment too. While Prince Robert is not going to inherit, there has always been fascination with “the Spare�� and their wife and children.

Nancy: King George’s reign has been all about continuing the House of Lancaster and making sure its stable for generations to come so I'm sure he is thrilled that another of his children is getting married.

Miles: His dual role as monarch and father cannot be understated. A father to the nation and to his own children who will undoubtedly follow in his footsteps in making their own families

Karen: Princess Margaret doesn’t seem in any hurry to settle down

Nancy: Sources say that the King is very supportive of the Princesses choices, letting her move into Kensington Palace and strike out on her own

Miles: Ah she's young - once she finds the right man, she will settle

Announcer: Alright, in this final lap, Oliver seems to be picking up speed and pulling ahead! Natan is falling behind, but not giving up. Cedric stays in third.

Announcer: We're in the home stretch and it's anyone's race. Well, let's be honest. Probably not, Cedric, but he has caught up some. Oliver and Natan stay neck and neck. Who's going to reach the end first?

Announcer: It's Prince Oliver!

Reporter: Prince Oliver climbs out of the pool victorious! He is congratulated by Prince Gerhard and his fiance, Madame Hortense. Great work, Oliver, and to each competitor! One game down, three to go!

I'm returning to the sims 3 aka second best sims game after the sims 2 so Ifl I need to recreate the POTO sillies on it. This time I think I went hard with the de Chagny siblings by giving them their dad (Philibert) and their mom for more consistent genetics which dw I toggled kill them off right at the beginning. Also includes the two unnamed sisters because honestly they deserve some attention. I also made Christine prior to this but have yet to take a proper screenshot.

Beauharnais Pack. Part VII: Hotel Beauharnais Wall Set

I’ve created quite the set of CC for my Hôtel Beauharnais, and im going to be releasing them in parts as to not make a long messy post with a bunch of download links to my recolors and the original meshes.

The wall set is comprised of 41 swatches in total but this is due to each “wallpaper” having a few separate parts. The Music Room wallpaper for example is comprised of 14 different bits.

(The wall set also comes with a few secret passage doors)

Some wallpaper as updated versions of my 300 follower gift so don’t be shocked if they look similar.

Pierrelander and Scottish Royal Families celebrate Christmas together

The Imperial Family of Pierreland and the Royal Family of the Scots wish their subjects a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The annual family gathering was hosted by TRH the Duke and Duchess of Rothsey at their country estate. Photos taken by a trusted staffer were taken for the first hour. The two families will ring the new year in together in Pierreland.

(Stéphane Bernard) The Emperor will become a quasi-sacred figure through the anointing: it is a sort of transfiguration. The imperial canopy conceals this profoundly sacred moment because the rite must remain a mystery to the common mortals. We are witnessing a revival of the triple blessing from the Reims ceremonial of the kings of Francesim. Their Majesties, kneeling before the altar, receive the triple anointing from the Pope: one on the forehead, the others on both hands. First the Emperor, then the Empress.

In his prayer, the Pope asks God to bestow the treasures and graces of His blessings upon the Emperor. He prays that the Emperor will govern with strength, justice, loyalty, foresight, courage, and perseverance. The Emperor must combat Evil and defend the holy Christian Church. The Empress, for her part, receives God's support, and that of Christ, to preserve the Empire and the French people for eternity.

(Stéphane Bernard) Such a ceremonial highlights the spiritual and mystical dimension of the imperial monarchy. It is a moment steeped in tradition, where every gesture, every word, carries deep symbolism, reminding us of the sacred bonds that unite the sovereign to his people and to God. (Mgr. Morlot) Almighty and eternal God, who have decreed that, following the example of David, Solomon, and Joash, the foreheads of Kings and Emperors should be adorned with a diadem, so that, through the brilliance of their gemstones and the splendor of their ornaments, they might serve as a vivid and striking image of the majesty that surrounds you to the peoples while they reign on earth…

(Mgr. Morlot) … Pour out, we beseech you, your blessing upon these crowns, so that your servant Napoleon and his spouse, who will wear them on earth, may shine with the radiance of all virtues.

(Pope) May God encircle your brow with the crown of glory and justice...

While the bells ring out and the cannons roar, the Emperor and Empress of Francesim are crowned at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. It was broadcast live on television by Stéphane Bernard, the famous journalist for the crowned heads in Francesim.

(Stéphane Bernard) L'Empereur va devenir un personnage quasi-sacré grâce à l'onction : c'est une sorte de transfiguration. Le dais impérial cache ce moment tout à fait sacré car le rite doit rester un mystère pour le commun des mortels. Nous assistons à une reprise de la triple bénédiction du cérémonial de Reims des rois de Francesim. Leurs Majestés, agenouillées devant l'autel, reçoivent du Pape la triple onction : une sur le front, les autres sur les deux mains. D'abord l'Empereur, puis l'Impératrice.

Reporter: Our first royals are arriving now!

Reporter: First to arrive are HRH Crown Prince Cedric, Duke of Edenhal and his wife, HRH Crown Princess Emeline, Duchess of Edenhal. Whitmore has an historically close relationship with SimDonia and this is one of many visits for the couple. Prince Cedric will be raising money for the Rise for a Cause Fund.

Reporter: HRH Prince Oliver, Duke of Rothsey and his new fiance, HIH Madame Hortense of Francesim are beaming as they enter the gym. The Prince will be raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project. This is the couple's first time in SimDonia, but Pierreland is a long time ally of SimDonia.

Reporter: Up next, we have a competing duo. Both HRH Crown Prince Germán of Uspana and his sister, HRH Princess Guiomar of Uspana, will be competing to raise money for the Stewardship and Seafaring Endowment of Canarís and The Good Way Council respectively. This is their first time in SimDonia, but Uspana and SimDonia have a rich history!

Reporter: Next to arrive is TRH Prince Natan, Count of Cruthin with his cousin, TRH Crown Prince George. This is both prince's first trips to SimDonia. Prince Natan will be competing in to raise money for The Henry Foundation.

Reporter: Arriving next is HRH Princess of Shinchaku and her fiance, HRH Princess Consort of Shinchaku. Princess Biyu and Princess Jaime are visiting SimDonia for the first time. Biyu is raising money for Yua’s Care and Love Fund.

Reporter: Up next we have HRH Princess of Levan Harbour with her cousin the Countess of Hirey. Both are visiting SimDonia for the first time. Princess Alexandra is competing for The King Frederick Foundation.

i don’t wanna leave anyone out, but these are some on my mind atm (in order based on appearance in my follow list sjdfhkjgl): 

@royalsimsinsider’s duchess of landom ... she’s so pretty & i just like seeing her engagement posts !!!! excited for the new project, but she’s still a favorite.

maybe it’s because i found @pixelnrd’s story at the height of her storyline, but i adored daisy, and i miss her ! i’m glad she got her happy ending (you know, great depression aside, lmao)  

@thegrimalldis’s max & margot ! yeah, yeah, max had this spectacular character growth trajectory that blew me away time and time again, BUT .... margot in particular has my heart right now (so, like, shoutout to @thestenhams for making the world’s most lovely sim ???). i’m also getting vibes re: eleanor, so i’m excited to see what comes next for her ! after that heart stomping with leon, surely alyssa has big plans ahead... 

this isn’t exactly a favorite character answer but i’m foaming at the mouth to see more of @empiredesimparte’s characters, esp miss hortense !!!!

This little set of parquet tiles comes in 5 variations, but only one color swatch.

And the octagonal tile is a base game floor which I quickly recolored to match the limestone walls. It also comes in just one color swatch.
