2nd Challenge: TRAP OF LOVE

This is a last one standing battle royale extreme violence edition. This will be my first-time using EV so it'll be a journey for all of us lol. This will also be recorded footage. Yes, your first LIVE BC (that I know of). The footage will consist of 3 weeks/7days in game (one full year in game). I learned about this from lilsimsie, when she would place sims in a dollhouse while the game run for 24 hours or so. I've done it before and would like to try again minus the 24hrs bit. the urge to delete my entire blog consumed me suddenly. thankfully I did not listen to that urge today.

instead i just deleted a shit ton of posts but I'm tired now so I'll do more later. I want to rebrand and clean up tags and this is the easiest way for me, going through posts one at a time wasn't cutting it. I've left some of my older cc posts up but they lead to TSR and I'm conflicted. should i just delete them? I have a master post of my cc that links to SFS (i'm currently going through and updating those files but TSR files have not been touched and as I officially-i know I said it before but im serious this time directly due to the insane hoops you have to go through to download anything from that site for free- don't plan on ever uploading to that site again I don't want people lead there to download any of my content especially if it's broken...) fuck it I'll delete them, one day I'll make more preview posts of my older cc that I still like.

I've been working on a new skin and genetics so I really want to update my sim style (again) but I think what I really mean is starting all over, but i don't think I can let go of some of my fav ocs so lets see how I deal with that. I want to show more of myself and stop holding back, I hate the people pleasing part of myself that seems to have taken over. I want to fucking make content for myself. If I share it, good, if people like it; great. no more self doubt. I want blood, gore, surrealist chaos and i want to mix that in with the cute shit that I make. I miss the saruin that woke up and decided to make vomit or trypophobia inducing cc and just did it without doubt or hesitation.

also in deleting posts I was able to read asks from a year ago and see all of the interaction that I used to have on this site. I didn't realize how many of my mutuals deactivated or just left the site (out of site out of mind i guess) it was really bittersweet and i miss all the people that are gone (wow not to make it sound like they're dead -_-;) I was also able to see posts from people I don't follow anymore lol don't meet your heroes. The good and the bad, I miss it. the interactions was what made me stay on tumblr after being so apprehensive about signing up. Now sometimes it feels like I'm just another fart in the wind.

Real Life: Trying to figure out what’s wrong with my computer. The repair shop guy had it for five days and each time we called him he said he was ‘working on it’. I am not a patient person, especially when it comes to my computer, so I got tired of waiting and asked him to give it back. When we left it at the shop it started but there was no image, when we took it home it won’t start at all. The guy had unplugged the power source and one of the hard drives. I fixed that and was able to make it start myself.

My computer is working with just one (8GB) memory cause the other one got damaged since last year. Now each time I turn the computer off it won’t start unless I change the memory stick to the remaining slot, (it’s a two-slot motherboard, so one is empty now). It’s a mystery for me why this would help it to start. I'm no expert in computers, but I have a feeling that it has something to do with the RAM memory slots, maybe the whole motherboard. Anyway, I’ll get the other memory stick to have 16GB RAM again and see if that solves the problem.

That’s what I’ve been struggling with in real life, it was also my birthday on May 6, my family took me out for dinner and my son gifted me two games from my Steam wish list: Stardew Valley and Bioshock Infinite. I had to wait to have my computer back to start playing those, lol.

So-- it’s all going great except for the issue with the repair shop guy. Well at least he didn’t charge us, lol.

Why did you choose your url?

There is a hot, sweet beverage in my country called atole. We mostly drink it as a traditional breakfast thingy (sometimes with other food) because it is a bit heavy, yummy and fulling (?). People call me Nat for short (my name is Natalia) and one friend at my university thought it was funny to call me N-atole because he saw me drinking a chocolate atole cup :D I've been using that nickname for my internet / gaming persona since then. In this case, I added the "sims" into it lol.

I changed my first name slightly by omitting part of it and just leaving “Marie” back in my twenties. I also tried to change my last name to “Strega” but the patent laws in my country wouldn’t allow it so I added it as a second first name instead (and use it in informal situations.)
