a head of black hair moved into the frame and in front of Carlos and Undine. Sorry I don't have a shot of it--I was too startled.

I immediately zoomed back out.

Lepacy Update

Was gonna title this "Random Lepacy Update", but that makes it sound like a cross between the random legacy, and the lepacy.

Finally, I have added a mummy to the household! That's one step closer to completing all the goals for Gen 2. Welcome to the family....Calvinotep Pearsonotep. Yeah...I'm pretty sure the game's mummy name generator is mostly comprised of the dev's names with "otep" tacked on at the end.

Samir aged up, and I already have a good idea of which traits he got from which parent. Hair color comes from Grandma Janelle, and eye color is mutated gray (May's eyes are a mutated lilac, while Youssef's are brown). Eyes and nose are definitely May's, while the jaw and chin is Youssef's. The cheekbones and mouth might also be his mom's but I'm not entirely sure. Although, right now, he looks more like his grandmother than he does either of his parents.

honestly the rest of our trip was pretty tame. we dug through some ruins and found lots of nice stuff and then met a crow named poe!

Dal podcast “Il grande abbaglio” – di Felice Manti ed Edoardo Montolli

Nel 2020, molto prima che si parlasse di una revisione del processo per Olindo Romano e Rosa Bazzi, i trafficanti di droga del comasco facevano ricerche “coperte” online sulla strage di Erba. Lo rivela un’intercettazione legata a una recentissima inchiesta della Direzione distrettuale antimafia di Milano, coordinata dalla squadra mobile di Como.

A scoprirlo sono stati Felice Manti ed Edoardo Montolli, che nell’ultima puntata del podcast su Youtube Il Grande Abbaglio svelano l’esistenza di questi brogliacci a un ignaro Fabio Schembri, il legale della coppia che sta discutendo la riapertura del processo per la mattanza dell’11 dicembre 2006, quando morirono Raffaella Castagna, suo figlio Youssef di 2 anni e mezzo, la mamma Paola Galli e la vicina di casa Valeria Cherubini.

A parlare nell'intercettazione è Vincenzo Milazzo, che secondo i pm avrebbe avuto il controllo dei traffici nella zona di Erba. […] 39 anni, è nato in Germania e nelle intercettazioni sosteneva che il padre e il nonno erano vicini al boss di Cosa Nostra Giuseppe Di Cristina, fatto assassinare da Totò Riina.

Per la sua capacità è tenuto molto in considerazione dai fornitori di stupefacenti a Erba, anche a quelli legati all’ex capo della ‘ndrangheta di Erba Pasquale Varca (condannato per questo con sentenza definitiva), grazie alla protezione di un altro presunto boss di ndrangheta, Luigi Vona, finito nella recente inchiesta perché considerato il boss di Asso e di Canzo.

Nella conversazione risalente al 2020 tra Milazzo e alcuni appartenenti a un presunto sodalizio criminale dedito allo spaccio a Erba si parla di sim segrete da utilizzare solo per fare ricerche su internet.

La conversazione è messa in evidenza in neretto non solo dagli inquirenti ma anche dal gip che ha emesso l’ordinanza. Pur avendo a disposizione dei telefoni criptati, Milazzo decide di comprare a Milano alcune schede telefoniche e ne parla con tale Leonardo Potenza.

È lui a suggerirgli di dare le sim soltanto a pochissime persone, cinque o sei fidatissimi. «Sì, ma non chiamerò mai. Sai qual è il problema? Questa qua la uso, riguarda l’omicidio. Chiudi il telefono, ascolta me, chiudi il telefono e i cazzi. (Incomprensibile). Devi guardare l’omicidio Longone e chiudi. Strage di Erba e chiudi.  Non lo devi usare mai per chiamare e mandare whatsapp, hai capito cosa voglio fare io con questa, hai capito cosa devi fare? Il fatto di Raimondo», facendo riferimento - scrivono gli ufficiali che hanno fatto queste intercettazioni - ai fatti nei quali era rimasto coinvolto tale Como Edmond, albanese assolto dall’inchiesta Crimine Infinito sulla ’ndrangheta e recentemente condannato per l’omicidio di Metaj Beesnik, un connazionale ammazzato con tre colpi di pistola a Longone, vicino Erba, per cui era stato arrestato una settimana prima di questa intercettazione.

Ma perché nel 2020 i trafficanti di droga del comasco utilizzavano schede telefoniche dedicate esclusivamente alle ricerche online per cercare notizie sulla Strage di Erba? Oggi la vicenda è oggetto di revisione alla Corte d’Appello di Brescia, allora era lontano dai radar di media e opinione pubblica.

Non si sapeva ancora che il dottor Cuno Tarfusser aveva intenzione di presentare una richiesta di revisione, né che la difesa stava lavorando a una richiesta analoga, non c’è un fatto di cronaca oggettivo che può interessare questi soggetti. Il caso era chiuso definitivamente da nove anni con la condanna definitiva.

«Io di questa indagine ne ho appreso, ho avuto notizia dalle dai giornali, ma non conoscevo questa intercettazione, quella che mi è stata letta» dice Schembri a Manti e Montolli. E perché la strage di Erba è stata messa in correlazione con l’omicidio per cui è accusato Edmond Como, legato allo spaccio di droga?

La vicenda si lega al racconto del testimone Abdi Kais, che la difesa di Olindo e Rosa ha chiamato come testimone al processo di revisione a Brescia e che ipotizza il movente della droga per la strage. Kais era un tunisino residente nell’appartamento della strage, condannato con Azouz Marzouk per spaccio. E ricorda che all’epoca c’era in corso una faida con i marocchini di Merone nella quale lo stesso Kais era stato accoltellato per questioni di droga. Secondo il suo racconto, i marocchini avevano tentato un assalto con i coltelli al loro appartamento di Merone, poi sventato. Da allora, stando a quanto lui ricorda, i proventi della droga vennero custoditi nell’appartamento della Corte di via Diaz.

Tra le organizzazioni criminali che fornivano la droga vi erano gli albanesi e la ‘ndrangheta, sgominata a Erba dalla Procura di Milano nel 2010. Al vertice di questa locale vi era Pasquale Varca, come confermerà il pentito Francesco Oliverio, sostenendo a verbale che lo stesso Varca trattava con gli stranieri 300 kg di droga alla settimana.

Come sappiamo dalle carte del processo, gli inquirenti non seguirono mai realmente la pista della droga. Non ci sono atti, documenti, interrogatori. Ma se il movente della strage fu la droga, possibile che la 'ndrangheta non ne sia mai venuta a conoscenza?

«Questo potrebbe essere un tassello ulteriore che va ad avvalorare sostanzialmente quanto noi abbiamo già indicato nella richiesta di revisione - dice ancora Schembri agli autori del podcast - abbiamo ipotizzato la possibilità che la Strage di Erba sia maturata in un ambito relativo al traffico di sostanze stupefacenti per le faide in corso raccontate da Kais. Uno spaccio che aveva come base Piazza del mercato a Erba, adiacente all’abitazione della strage in via Diaz».

Non basta. L’avvocato Schembri ricorda anche che «la strage avviene in un momento nel quale c’era una faida in corso, Raffaella Castagna aveva ricevuto delle minacce telefoniche, di cui riferisce anche la direttrice della casa circondariale di Como dove era detenuto Azouz. E come ne riferiscono anche alcune amiche, la Castagna era anche stata inseguita da una macchina di grossa cilindrata».

«Perché gli inquirenti ritengono interessante da un punto di vista investigativo questa intercettazione?», chiedono i due giornalisti. «Allo stato naturalmente questo non lo sappiamo - è la replica del legale di Olindo e Rosa - Certamente se viene evidenziata, una certa rilevanza la deve avere. E però su questo possono soltanto riferire gli inquirenti. Bisogna fare chiarezza su questa intercettazione. Non compete a me fare degli approfondimenti, però certamente sarebbe un aspetto da approfondire, perché si va a inserire in quel contesto che noi già abbiamo indicato in una richiesta di revisione».

Youssef: The Golden Years

Meanwhile, Youssef has been taking it quite easy.

He values his time with his best friend Jun, and spends most of his free time with him, unless he's with his children. Despite his age, Youssef is rather active, and takes special time out of the day to continue cooking meals for his fam.

They always come running for his food, as they should, considering Youssef has mastered the art of cooking homemade meals!

They certainly don't mind when he comes around to chat while they're doing homework, too. For Sylas, a drama major, this is a welcome distraction.

Youssef was very concerned about the wellbeing of his children for after his passing. Their bills were getting higher and higher, and neither of them had jobs due to their courseload, unless you cound Sylas' livestreaming. So, Youssef went to work.

He very much hoped that this would be enough to supplement his children for until they got out of college. Hopefully. In fact, he was so distracted by his painting that he didn't notice the demise of the family pet.

Hours after his very last painting and just after his very last drink, the inevitable came and took Youssef from the world.

And then, there were two. Fish and Yousself both lived full, happy lives, surrounded by people who loved them.

Now, it's Hazel's time to keep the family legacy rolling.
