I just started DIY Cosplay, everything I use to make my cosplay I already have on hand or I use a photo editor for things like my hair color. Constructive criticism would be nice! I just started about a month ago so I know I have A LOT to work on but it’s a start. Also, what should I try next?

For your cosplay consideration, I present the incredibly easy Henry Mills from Once Upon a Time! (well season 1-6 Henry at least) All this costume takes is literally things you’d probably already own: 1. An undershirt. Literally any shirt will do 2-A. A button down shirt. Henry wears plaids and solid color shirts mostly, but really any button down will do. 2-B. A solid color hoodie over your T-shirt if you prefer to avoid button downs. 3. A cardigan or sweater to go over you button down. (Not required if hoodie is used) 4. The most expensive item if you don’t already own it, a black pea coat that goes to about mid thigh, maybe a little higher. 5. A pair of jeans. Any pants will do. Just wear pants. 6. Converse/Canvas shoes. Again any shoe will really do, but traditionally it’s a canvas sneaker. 7 and 8 are the two most important pieces and the hardest to get and one of them I don’t even have. 7. Henry’s iconic red and gray scarf. I have a red and gray scarf on, which suffices for now, but it’s not Henry’s scarf, so for me and other #Oncers that scarf can make a difference (also if anyone knits and would like to make me said scarf I’d probably love you for eternity... or you know pay you for your services) 8. The Once Upon a Time Book. This is incredibly difficult. I personally made my own and it only took about a day, but it’s not perfect. Still making your own is a lot cheaper than paying $65 (cheapest one I found online) for a replica that may not even be completely accurate itself. Altogether this outfit can be put together pretty easily and for under $50 provided you have a black coat, though you can definitely do the look without the coat. Just remember the two key pieces are the scarf and the book. Everything else can be switched, removed, and changed. Also I’m sad that Once Upon a Time is cancelled. Uh, hey guys! So, I have a pretty vast makeup and cosplay collection, but it it didn’t always start that way. Originally I wanted to do maybe 3 videos before Halloween detailing looks with very few products(and some recommendations to amp it up further) that still look cool, but I managed one. It’s been a weird month. But what I decided to do for that one video was two of my favorite comic book villains, Harley Quinn and The Joker. For both of these looks I I used only 3 products. In my YouTube video I have product links and a time lapse of me doing the makeup as well as discussing it.
