Hi! I absolutely love the fact that you are doing the hunt of old cc and hoping for many more, but if you can, I would love to see one for Forever & Always Sims/Valeocatty/SilentRebelSims as her current(ly inactive) tumblr does not have all of her cc hair and the F&A Blogspot has sadly been deleted for years :( It'd be great to see quite a good number of these hairs as a whole again :3

#thought i lost these 2 forever #3 months ago i lost not only my mods folder but my tray files as well...nearly killed me tbh #but then I got these two back n im not so sad abt it anymore :)#my build folder rip 2019-2024 will haunt me for a while #im also getting this wierd bug where my game will CTD as soon as I add ANY new cc with “game data is corrupt or missing”#so i go back n delete random pieces of cc and it will load fine again but the thing is the cc i deleted isn't the cause of the crash #like I added some remussiron eye cc and it crashes I take it out and it runs put it back in it crashes #but if i add remussirion eye cc back AND delete a random hair it will run fine #so my mod folder is an orobors eating itself atm #maybe its bc windows 11 for some god forsaken reason puts the document folder in your one drive which is uploaded to a cloud service u #need to pay for n well one day i will kill whoever was responsible for that #my sims #vladislaus straud #elle de vampiro

not to be controversial but unfortunately after playing sims 2 & 3 within the past couple weeks, i have to admit that sims 4 is my favorite generation officially,, like i am sorry for being a traitor but the entire time i was playing the past gens, i just missed 4, man.

#mine #im playing 4 rn and i feel like ive been reawakened. even w/out cc atm bc i dont have the harddrive space for it rn but like #GOD.......................#ngl.... build mode is one of the biggest reasons. i tried it in 2 and 3 and i was just like.#:( but my sims 4 stuff is so cute i miss her #and the customization u have in cas SPECIFICALLY with So much trans accessibility... yeah. y e a h.#like im sure theres mods for the past sims games to do that now but i just. im gay and trans and emotional abt being seen #in a game by default without extra content ok #though i will say.#the sims 2 cutscenes are. Peak. i missed them dearly. they're so fun.#i wish 4 had them.

the good news: the shading 'scar' issue seems to be entirely cas-only???????? so that means i can continue full steam ahead

the bad news: i ended up playing the game for like 4 hours instead of doing more work on the head

As much as i like playing the sims 4, i just really miss the sims 2. It just had so much personality and all the premade sims backstories. Like the sims 4 scenarios are a cool idea but idk it just kinda pales in comparison to me

#don't get me wrong i love the sims 4 and all the cc for it and the build/buy mechanics are better imo #sims 2 is just more memorable to me. the only sims 4 townies i know off the top of my head are the goths and guidry #sims 3 was p cool in how open world it was (at least in the city that came with the vampire expac) and the playable occults it had #anyway i'm just really missing veronaville and strange town rn lol #ideally i would love a sims 2 remaster where the story/townies and furniture customizationare unchanged #but it has sims 4 mechanics and build/buy #though there a lot of 4 to 2 conversions i've seen around. so i might download 2 now that i know how to add cc

THE SIMS 3 STORE PRE-INSTALLED

Today marks 25 years of The Sims. Since EA forgot TS3 exists, I’m releasing the entire The Sims 3 Store as an Anniversary Gift. It's all pre-installed and works flawlessly!

It comes with all available fixes and collection folders I’ve personally created for every set. You'll get over 5000 new Buy/Build and CAS items, 11 new worlds, and tons of new gameplay!

INSTRUCTIONS

Go to "Documents/Electronic Arts" and rename the "The Sims 3" folder (or move it).

Create a new folder and name it "The Sims 3" (or whatever the name is in your language).

Extract the contents of the ZIP file in "The Sims 3." Now launch the game.

You'll have to adjust your setting again. Don't forget to disable the in-game Store so you don't get duplicates.

Quit the game. Copy the "Saves" folder from the folder you have previously renamed. You can also copy your Mods and CC in package format.

CAUTION

Never copy over or overwrite the DCCache folder.

If you have content installed through the Launcher (Sims3Pack), you'll have to reinstall it.

I strongly recommend you don't install things through the Launcher from now. It already has a lot of content and it is a known fact the Launcher becomes more and more unstable the more content it has to handle.

Since the entire Store has been decrapified, if you want to install lots or world that contain Store content, you'll have to decrapify those too using MATY's TS3 Recompressor.

I had a report that there was an invisible top in CAS. It doesn't seem to have a CASP resource so it shouldn't cause any issues (like being assigned to a random Sim). It's best to avoid it or hide it or blacklist it using NRaas mods. Do NOT try to save the game while your Sim is "wearing" this invisible top.

UPDATE #1: MARCH 2025

Added some missing content: the Mother Russia CAS Set and the Cool Chap Cap that was given as a secret bonus item in the "Make Me an Offer" page. If there's something else missing, please let me now.

Now NRaas MasterController and the Cheats and Integration modules are included in the pack. This version NRaas MC comes with CAS Compact Mode enabled by default. This should fix the issue of blank/invisible CAS items and also speed up the loading of CAS items. Keep in mind, these mods aren't compatible with Lazy Duchess' Smooth Path, but you can have both. Her mod will automatically disable the fast loading of CAS items.
