The Chromatic Legacy Challenge: 3 Year Anniversary Edition

I’ve been revisiting this challenge every year since it's creation (2020), and I'm back again with a slightly modified version of CLC. While playing some old challenges like Not So Berry, I realized that I have some ideas for a challenge myself. That's how I came to create The Chromatic Legacy Challenge, and I’m excited to share it with everyone! This is a VERY colorful challenge that's updated to March of 2023. This challenge is designed to get the very best out of the Sims 4, and I hope you like it! There are 15 generations with certain unique requirements to complete their generation! It's always interesting to see how long it takes you to complete all the generations. Tag me at or @maximum.sims to share your beautiful creations with me! ALL GENERATIONS: RULES

-Like other colorful challenges, it is suggested that the hair, makeup, clothes, and house of your heirs ARE the color of the generation (which is listed in the rules of each generation).

Money cheats are not allowed! Promotion or skill cheats are also not allowed. The only kinds of cheats that are allowed are cheats that influence a babies gender/number and (if you wish) or need cheats.

-Normal lifespan is recommended

-At the end of the day, do what you want. If you don't like a requirement, don't have a pack, you don't have to do it. This is designed for you to have fun, so do what you want! <3

1 ~ Bubblegum🌺

You grew up in a humble home with your parents, searching your couch cushions for money. After your parents die, you have nowhere left to go but a small lot next to your old family home. Your parent’s old home where you learned to train and take care of animals was bulldozed in a unexpected event, and now all you can hope is that you can build a veterinary clinic on top of the foundation of the remains of your childhood home.

- Vegetarian, gloomy and the dog or cat lover trait

- Must complete the friend of the animals and soulmate aspirations

- Starts life in an empty lot without any more than 20k simoleons.

-Adopt at least one stray cat and one stray dog

- Max out the pet training, herbalism, and veterinary skills

- Run your own veterinary clinic. Build your house inside the clinic. Get it to 4 or 5 stars

- marry a sim who has the opposite animal lover trait (if your a cat lover, marry a dog lover and visa versa.

2 ~ Lemonade 🍋

You grew up with a loving family, and never had any reason to doubt yourself. You respect your family's vet business but strive for something else. You've always been good at using technology and getting along with others, and you are so excited for your future and can’t wait to become a parent. Your parents lend you some money- and off you go to start a new life in the real world. But things didn’t exactly go as planned. Your home is smaller than it looked on the housing website, and your hopes are skyrocketing down. When you’re about ready to give up, you get an opportunity to be a secret agent for the type of company you only heard about in movies.

-self assured, family orientated, squeamish traits

-must complete the computer whiz and super parent aspirations. Cheat the tech guru part of the Computer Whiz aspiration, as this sim is not in the tech guru career.

-reach level 10 of the secret agent career (diamond agent branch)

- max out the programming and parenting skills

-Start as a YA in a one bedroom tiny home or one bedroom apartment. You may only move/expand when you become an adult

3 ~ Cherry🍒

You can't remember a time in your life without someone by your side. Ever since you were a child, you knew that forever you and your best friend would stick together for your whole lifetime. But you are an aspiring actor, and a wonderful comedian - and your best friend… is not. You set off to Del Sol Valley the moment you turn 21 to pursue an acting career, leaving your friends and family behind. As you navigate celebrity life, you act, you flirt… but no relationships stick. That is, until reuniting with your childhood best friend...

-must complete the master actor and joke star aspirations. Cheat the entertainer part of the Joke Star aspiration, as this sim is not in the entertainer career.

-Be best friends with someone during childhood and teenhood. Grow apart during your young adulthood, and marry them in your adulthood

-Move to Del Sol Valley when you age up into a young adult

-Flirt with many sims, but do not commit to an official partner until you get with your childhood friend.

-Max out the comedy skill

-Reach level 10 of the acting career and max the skill

You have always been proud of your parent, a successful actor who taught you to be the best you that you can be. You had always wanted to follow in their footsteps, but after seeing them in a musical, you couldn't stray your thoughts away from the idea of being a big music star. Since childhood, you've been playing all the instruments and making music. You struggle with love, and you just want to meet your special someone. Playing music for money outside of your home, you start your path to becoming a famous musician.

-Music Lover, Snob, Dance Machine

-Complete the Musical Genius and admired Icon aspirations

-Play music in the city during your young adulthood

-Max the dance skill + three of the following skills: singing, guitar, violin, piano, or DJ mixing, pipe organ

Unlike the rest of your family, who all aspire to be in the spotlight, you are unsure of what you want to do with your life. Being a barista and taking care of your chickens is the only thing you can think to do to support yourself. You always had a knack for the creative arts and seem to get along really well with llamas and bunnies, but never knew how to put that into a job. Finally, after long days of research, you decide to open your own retail store to sell your works- with a farm to support you at home.

-Animal Enthusiast, creative and cheerful

-Max out either the knitting or handiness skill (or both!) and the cross-stitching skill

-Max out the barista career, mixology skill, and finish the Master Mixologist Aspiration

- Run a retail business to sell woodworking or knitted clothing and own a farm.

-Do at least one task for Henford on Bagely residents a week

While the other triplets play games outside on the farm, you spent your childhood days afterschool watching the news. That's when you realized how broken and messed up the world was, and you soon realize that you want to help. Instead of becoming a detective or police officer, you decide to become a lawyer to defend the innocent, and you write books on your achievements. But every hero has their flaws, and yours is you're too busy helping the world to watch your children grow.

Your parent clinged to you since you were a child. You know that they just want to make you feel loved, but you can't help but feel smothered a bit by their love. You adore them, too, but you do wish you had a bit more independence. You spend lots of your time playing soccer with your parents (even though it isn't their strong suit) and dreaming of one day climbing Mount Komorebi with all of your friends by your side. Luckily, your parents are receptive to your wishes for independence and want to help you in any way you can, sending you out with hopes and lots of love for a safe journey up the mountain.

You can't wait to try and cook all sorts of foods and drinks, and throw all sorts of crazy parties. Now that you're an adult, there is so much to see and do… and you're going to do it all!

That's why you absolutely hate litterbugs- well, until you meet a special litterbug… which makes you more determined than ever to convince this person to listen to your passion. It's a tough job, especially for someone who can't even order a drink at a restaurant, but you find yourself enchanted with them- almost as much as the ocean you love.

Every second of your life you were thinking about how beautiful everything you saw would look if you had created it by hand. What a beautiful world you live in, and you just must capture its beauty. You work hard to learn your craft, working as a painter for your livelihood. But once you get to the top of the career, you realize that life working on art every day all day was causing you to lose the passion for art that you always had as a child. So... You quit. Your new life is ahead of you, and you want to spend it with your family, and doing the occasional side gig.

You look to them for guidance, leaving your parents behind you. But things don’t go as planned, and soon you have to be a young parent, too. You fall in love with your child at first glance and you want the best for them, but you still don’t know what life you want, so you find a job as a food critic thanks to your grandparent. But your struggles aren’t over, because when your grandparent dies, you get fired from your job, and you are left without a job. So, without anyone else to go to, you resort to taking up an offer to put your thieving skills to work as a criminal…

Intro/What I'm comfy with and not

Hi Kirs here, just wish to let you know what the blog will be about.

I go by She/He/They pronouns and Genderfluid Bi. I’m a Canadian, so might see me at Anime North sometimes.

Also to preface if you're under 18, don't interact with any 18+ content I make, please. I know that I can't stop everyone, hell even I did it and I just recommend you stay safe.

For example, I will post, headcanons for fandoms I'm in/enjoy the content of, how I feel about certain characters, fanfics, edits, cosplays + more. I’ll try to repost a lot and for nsfw I’ll mostly repost the ones with a reading line. So in short, reblogs are safe and my likes are not.

I was tagged by the wonderful @baseicsimmer , one of the first people I followed when I started my simblr and OBSESSED with their Legacies and Gameplay posts, like theyre actually addicting, so thank you for tagging me :)

As for my fav sim, I think if you check my blog u'd see that Regina is my ABSOLUTE fav sim ever and basically the only I use in my gameplays because of how attached i grew to her, simple back story is she was based on the 2000s barbie since this is what I played with as a kid, I made her when i started playing sims 4 again in 2020 and still use her lol, so the 5 things i absolutely love about her is:

she looks good in EVERY outfit/look, one of the reasons I always loved The Sims (sims bustin out was my first game lol) since i was a child is mainly because it was basically a dress-up game, which is something I can always appreciate, so the fact that I made a sim that looks good in any outfit i can think of :)

Regina has a GREAT taste in love interests/partners, like she almost never misses (except that one time she had a crush on Malcom landgraab YUCK), but one thing about her is she ALWAYS get has a crush on Sergio Romeo regardless of what save and character shes in :)

she also any fits scenarios/gameplays I play with, since I use her as a base in basically all my save files. her FIRST background story is that she was abandoned by her family so she had to find ways to get money and make a living. this plot is the "main/real" background story for her. however, I still changed that plot for other saves too (e.g. not so berry)

I love how in every save shes very mischivious even without having that trait, she really likes judging people and tricking sims or flirting with other sims for money then having an arguement with them, she likes causing havoc which i find very iconic and fun especially if im gonna use her in multiple saves :)

Despite being naturally chaotic even without a trait, she always gets along with other sims so well even when i restart her with a level zero on all skills, she has no issues making friendships and relationships and gets along with any sim she wants (which is sth I wish I could do irl ;D )

i’m so unbelievably late to the party with this but i’m going to blame that on being ill and dumb revision. but i’m past all that now and i still wanted to do this because it’s not often that i get tagged in fun things like this, so i like to make the most out of it when i do. and i feel like it’s still early enough in the year for it to be acceptable, so here we go!

first, i got tagged by the ever-wonderful @smallcowplant to share my simblr goals for 2020. thank you, sam! i thought this was such a fun little thing and hopefully if i actually set myself these goals, i’ll be motivated to stick to them and work on productive things instead of just floating around and procrastinating. so, i’m not going to be super ambitious because lord knows i’m not capable of much when it comes to simblr, but i’m going to set myself three goels; i feel like three is attainable. so my goals for this year are:

finish the townie makeovers that i started on a whim

start posting my next story

keep spreading kindness and giving encouragements to my favourite blogs

and then i was lucky enough to be tagged in a different post, this time by the lovely @justkeeponsimming ! i mean, she tagged my main blog, @eleanorjtumbles , because i made the incredibly dumb smart decision to make my simblr a side blog so all my notifications are for that blog, but i wanted to do it nonetheless, so here we are on my sims blog! she tagged me to do the simblr 2020 wish list tag thing and again, i thought it was too fun to pass up on, so i thought that i’d squash it into this post so that i’m not awkwardly late twice. thank you so much for the tag, rae! it’s nice to know that you notice my username in all your notifications :)

free update: i think it’s a bit of a long shot, but maybe pre-teens? i mean, they did it with toddlers, but i think there was more of a need for that with how bland they made babies. i just think that there’s a really big jump from children to teens, which is a bit awkward for storytellers. they go from looking like nine to looking seventeen so personally i’d love an in-between stage with some middle school drama and awkward phases.

stuff pack: i know this is probably pretty niche but i think that a retro pack could be quite fun. maybe sort of like that arcade pack option from the first community stuff pack idea vote. i just feel like big arcade machines, a little handheld gameboy/ds thing and chopper bikes (especially now that we have bikes from discover university) could be so fun in game. even just little things like kids being able to make friendship bracelets or play with walkie talkies too. plus i feel like it could have some pretty cool build/buy and cas items. but that might just be me lol.

game pack: i really want more activities. mainly for children and teens, but elders too! i know we're getting knitting but what about like cross-stitching or pottery or doing jigsaw puzzles or reading the newspaper and doing the crosswords? and i want more things for kids and teens to do. i want more after school clubs and skills and activities just for them. i want to be able to send them to dance class, or a sports club like football or baseball or something. i want them to be cheerleaders, or join the school choir, or the school newspaper or be a part of the student council. and what about skateboarding? that could be so fun. and more instruments too, like a drum kit or an electric guitar. i just feel like they could do so much more for the kids and teens and parenthood was such a good start but i want moooooore.

expansion pack: i'd really like to see a vacation-themed pack. i know there's selvadorada and granite falls, but i want a proper resort with a big hotel and scheduled activities and an all-day all-inclusive buffet. island living gave us a beach destination so i don't really know what the setting would be because i always pictured it as a tropical resort, but i think it could still be a really fun idea. maybe with all the talk of the snow-themed activities in the latest poll they could make it into a type of ski chalet? and the pack could have skiing and snowboarding and other fun winter sports type things and a nice fancy mountain resort to stay at. but idk, i just sort of want a pack to give more options and activities for vacations. like being able to book them in advance and then look forward to them. and being able to buy cute souvenirs or try foods that you can only get at that destination. oooh and maybe get special honeymoon or family vacation features, like unique activities to do or something? i feel like that could be fun, right?

the sims 5? i don't think we'll be getting it this year and tbh i'm not really interested in getting it. i'm pretty content with the sims 4 and i feel like they could just keep expanding on this for now. i don't think they need to be starting from scratch again and putting out the bare bones of a game, i'd rather just stick with what we've got, thank you very much.

okay, that took way longer than anticipated but idk why because i should have known that i’d ramble my ass off. but that was a lot of fun to do, so thank you again for the tags! if i hadn’t taken so long to do this then i’d probably tag a few people but i feel like that’s just a bit lame now. if you fancy sharing your thoughts on this stuff though then please tag me because i’d love to read what you have to say about your goals or wish lists for the year! anyway, i think that’s all for now. i’ll be back with some more townie makeovers soon! and if you’ve made it this far into the post, i admire your perseverence and i love you.

Rules: This tag is simple and is only of course for Simmers! Another full year of content is sure to hit the Sims 4 and I wonder what everyone wants from the Sims team and EA this year? Especially since all of the usual packs are out of the way…I did this tag a few years ago and it sort of caught on so I’m happy to try it again! The rules are simple! Stuff Pack: Some clutter items.

Game Pack: More hobbies for kids and teens. They are a bit boring to play with.

The Sims 5?: I’m not done playing The Sims 4 and a lot can still be done. I’m not sure I want to hear talking about The Sims 5.

Thank you to @cantseemtohide for the tag 💗✨ I think I spent a little too much time thinking this through and there ended up being lots of feels involved... I will attempt to keep my rambling to a minimum!

Sulani — I mean, I basically haven’t stopped playing in this world since Island Living release day...

San Myshuno — City Living is the pack that made me buy TS4 and re-ignited my love for the series. The Spice Market has my whole heart.

Mt. Komorebi — Snowy Escape was a literal escape for me in winter 2020. Watching travel vlogs, learning about Japanese bathing culture and architecture, and exploring a world so different from my own while stuck at home was an absolute lifesaver. I still don’t care much for the winter sports aspect of the pack but the world is absolutely stunning.

Willow Creek — I think it’s often overlooked or under-rated, and thought of as a generic suburban world. But I’m here for the New Orleans vibes.

Evergreen Harbor — Also severely under-rated imo. To me, this is the most realistic world in TS4, and while there are some things I wish were executed differently, I love the industrial spaces, modest lots, and customizability.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

so i’ve put off writing this for a long, long time, and it’ll be painful for me to make this post but at this point i feel like it needs to be done. someone within the liz fandom has been lying, gaslighting and manipulating me as well as many others, both online and offline, and after getting proof on everything (plus their lack of remorse) has prompted me to write this.

this is about gil perez, aka @unrated-g, and one of his irl friends, kim @kimbus-the-whimbus, to a lesser extent, but mostly gil. since 2016 - nearly 5 years now - he’s been lying that he’s best friends with liz gillies. i’m gonna put a read more because it’s a long, insane, and ridiculous thing that happened, but please read all of it and know how serious this is, as well as all the damage this man has done.

i met gil through tumblr in 2018 - he had been replying my posts since before that, but early 2018 is when i followed him and started chatting with him casually. over time, i noticed that he would reblog posts about liz and in the tags he would seem to be talking to her or referencing her, but not by her name - instead he would call her “goblin”. he would mention things that “goblin” liked or behind the scenes on dynasty stuff, and after a few weeks of noticing this and chatting with him about dynasty/liz, i ended up asking him if he was friends with liz/knew her personally because of the way he spoke about her. he confirmed to me that he knew her, she was one of his best friends, and he “didn’t expect” anyone to pick up on it. he told me to keep it private and i agreed, obviously, because i had no reason to not trust him, and i know that liz values her privacy.

it’s important to note that liz does NOT follow him or any of his accounts from her verified twitter or instagram accounts - instead, he said she had an “extremely private” encrypted tumblr account that could only be seen by people she follows/white listed. he was one of them. her blog would not show up for anyone else, and they met through tumblr in 2016 (even though he said she followed him back in 2010 and he didn’t realize until 6 years later) through their mutual love for uncharted, and bonded over playing uncharted 4 multiplayer together. it’s also important to note that liz has had 2 tumblr accounts since 2010, both of which she has abandoned, and he said that her private tumblr is separate from those two. she also was friends with him (according to him) through PSN, where they would play ps4 games together, and all of his text convos with her are from that app:

throughout all of 2018, we would text on a regular basis and started becoming good friends. he was extremely kind, always willing to be there for me, and listened to me about not only fandom stuff but also my irl problems. he also became friends with my friend group, who were also in the liz fandom, and it was really nice for a while. in october of 2018, gil said he went to HHN with liz and matt in LA, and for xmas of 2018, he said he spent it with liz - both in LA and in NJ, which is what she typically does to spend her holidays with her family and friends. her pale blue eyes cover was also for him, according to gil, because he asked for her to cover it specifically and she did just for him.

gil would also occasionally stream for friends, and sometimes liz would show up:

beginning of 2019 is when gil and i started getting much closer - we started playing games together (mostly mario kart, at the beginning) and talking through voice chat. he would talk about liz and personal things about her/her life or dynasty, and he always willingly supplied that information himself - i never asked for it, i wasn’t friends with him to get information on liz or have an “in” with her. chatting with him made me feel good and happy and important to him, and i realized i started having feelings for him - which i told him about in april 2019. he said he wasn’t sure exactly how he felt but he thought he might feel the same, the only really complicated part (besides the fact that this was long distance/not irl) was that he also had a really deep crush on liz, someone who was his best friend/ultimate celeb crush. he was really like in love with her, even though he said he tried to suppress it. anyways, after me admitting that to him, our friendship started to develop into something more. we weren’t ever in an official relationship, but things were definitely not strictly platonic with us. we went from chatting once every week or two to almost every single night for 3-6 hours per night for MONTHS. throughout that time, our relationship became sexual, too, and my feelings for him just continued to get deeper and deeper.

this continues throughout the rest of 2019, and then new years 2020, everything just...goes to shit asap. gil got really distant with me with no explanation, i felt like all the affection he was showing me and the kind things he would say to me, as well as our bonding time when we would chat together, was just ripped away unexpectedly. i constantly asked what was wrong and what was happening, and told him how i feel, and i got no real response besides just being tired/non-sociable, etc. (which, for the record, is completely understandable, but it was such a huge 180 in behavior that it worried me and things never went back to normal after that). in addition to that, kim (who was mentioned at the beginning of this post) is one of his best friends irl, as well as his on again/off again ex (according to him). anyways, there were posts that she had made that indicated to them not being exes and instead still together - or at the very least not platonic - which crushed me when i found out, because until that point i had no reason not to trust him. i told him about it though, and how it hurt me because my feelings were so deep for him at that point i felt that i loved him, and he told me they weren’t together. this isn’t really necessary for the liz stuff of this post, but it’s important for context for how hurt and on edge i was already feeling before things got worse.

we would still chat maybe a few times a week, but nothing like it used to be, and i was happy we would even chat at all, even though things felt so weird and different and off, and no matter what i did, i couldn’t fix it. as 2020 started going on, and this continued, his friendship with liz started making me feel extremely uncomfortable. knowing that he had the weird boundaries with his ex, plus whatever was going on with me and him, AND that he was in love with liz?? it was unsettling. i felt like i couldn’t compare, because it’s *liz gillies*, someone i obviously love and idolize and look up to. and she was up on a pedestal for him, even though he said that he never tried to treat liz differently than his other close friends just bc of who she was, but that wasn’t true. anything that she said or did, he agreed with 100%, and would defend it. when he and i would chat, and i would mention something about dynasty that bothered me, he would talk about what liz’s thoughts were on it and how she felt and that she was right to feel that way and it made me feel awful. this happened on multiple occasions throughout various topics, from dynasty to fandom stuff to liz’s friendships/relationships, etc. no matter what, to gil, liz was always right and he always had an explanation for anything that happened. the way he would describe liz and the thing he said about her made me see her in a completely different light - she was not the same liz that she presented herself as, at least in gil’s eyes.

he would always talk about how amazing liz was to him and how she did so much for him, such as buying him gifts, supporting his art, etc. this was hurtful to hear because i was doing the exact same things for him, as well as our group of friends: we had been buying his art (not only the art prints but the ACTUAL original copies), sending him gifts or money for gifts, supporting him and his art on social media, as well as just being a genuine friend to him. he never appreciated or thanked us the way that he thanked liz; none of us ever compared to her, even though we were doing the exact same thing for him that he said liz was doing, as well. it made me feel like no matter what i did, or how supportive i was, i was never enough.

we also had a discord with gil, that involved him, me, and my friends sarah, hope, amanda, and dom. within this discord, it’s worth noting that gil was the only man there, and would talk about liz and his friendship with her there, unprompted. we never asked for info, he volunteered everything willingly, and we all kind of glossed over it at the time because we weren’t friends with him for liz or any of that.

another important thing about his friendship with liz/being in love with her: he has this specific kink (which i don’t want to say what it is for privacy reasons) and he said that liz was engaging in this kink herself, and that he was jealous of liz’s bf/wishes he could engage in it with liz, etc. i wasn’t into this kink before talking to him but because i had liked him so much at the time, and i was slightly jealous that he wanted it with liz, i thought that i could indulge in it for him. it was something that i was not physically or mentally prepared for/able to make happen, and it really caused an impact on me, and he just...didn’t care. at all.

anyways: this stuff continues, then around summer 2020, my friend sarah reached out to him. she (and my friends, along with me) were starting to distrust the things gil was saying about liz, since it went completely against what liz would say herself. she would say she only plays the sims 3 on her computer - he would say she was a huge gamer and played the sims 4 on ps4, along with minecraft, uncharted, the last of us, horizon zero dawn, etc. he would say that liz and maddison brown (her dynasty co-star) played ACNH with him and quickly got to 5 stars - liz said in a zach sang interview that she didn’t play animal crossing. every time something didn’t add up, his excuse was that liz was lying for her privacy. she didn’t follow gil on any verified social media accounts in case “people harassed him” over being friends with her. so sarah texted him that she needed to talk to him about the liz stuff, because there was evidence it wasn’t true, and he denied all of it. he firmly stuck to his story, and sarah gave him multiple chances over several days to come clean and he wouldn’t. she asked for simple pieces of proof that he could give her, and he wouldn’t besides fake screenshots of her “private blog”:

he told me afterwards that if it comes between his friendship with liz or sarah’s, he’s picking liz - end of story. his and sarah’s friendship was done after that because of his decision. he blamed sarah for “ruining” liz and maddison’s friendship because of her asking for proof, and made her out to be the bad one in that situation. he ended up deleting the discord gc after this happened, with all of his screenshots/”info” as liz as well (we got screenshots of things before he deleted it though, much more that’s shown in this post).

about a month later, my friend léa also confronted him about it. gil had told her some things about liz’s “reaction” to meeting léa in paris, and at the time, it had made the experience more special for her. once she realized it was all lies, though, it really hurt her - he altered that special experience for her and twisted it into something that wasn’t real. he had the same reaction to léa’s conversation as he did to sarah’s, and he refused to tell the truth. their friendship was done with after, as well, along with a few other people from the liz fandom. i was the only one who stayed friends with him after that, and that was because i was closest with him and still trying to see if i could fix things with him. i was still naively believing that he would treat me okay again, he would make me feel important instead of always a backup option, that he wanted me again.

but of course that never happened. he continued to ignore me, talk to me less and less, and would subtweet me on his private account. after he stopped being friends with sarah and léa and everyone blocked him except for me, i was the only follower on his private account, as well as being the only person he followed there. gil, though, kept saying that liz had a “private twitter” where she would talk to him on his private account. he also said that he had “merged twitter accounts” into one, which was his private, which messed up his account and wouldn’t show who he was replying to, quote rts, or that he was following them, which - if you have a twitter, you KNOW none of that can actually happen. but it was his excuse to constantly subtweet me and my friends for not believing him, to maintain his story, AND to have convos with “liz” on there that only i could see, where he made it sound like he was talking shit about me to her. it was extremely manipulative and served no purpose except to fuck with me, because he knew that i was the only one seeing those tweets and knew i was already struggling with not knowing what to believe. here’s some of them:

(you can very clearly see that i’m the only follower/following on that account, the number is at literally 1, and he STILL was acting like he was talking to someone else and that other people were following him.)

now comes jan. 2021!! WE GOT DEFINITE PROOF THAT IT WAS ALL LIES. from multiple people. one of liz’s close best friends (that gil included in his stories about her, saying that he met them) said that they don’t know who gil is, have never met him, and it’s best for us all to block him for our own safety. a co-worker of liz’s (who was, again, included in gil’s lies, that he hung out with them multiple times, played games with them online, and bought him gifts) said that not only had they never met gil, but EVERYTHING he said about them was untrue. they even listed the inaccuracies he would say about them, such as gil taking photos of them at things like the SWT, and they confirmed who actually took the photo. they said that “none of it is fucking true” and that gil is a narcissistic liar, and also encouraged us to block him for our own safety.

i confronted gil myself about this a few weeks ago, and he continued to maintain his story that everyone’s lying to protect his privacy - even though we know for sure that wasn’t the case. he FINALLY owned up to it to me only once he saw i had proof and he was caught, and his reason for doing it was “he was bored”. he said he was sorry but he wasn’t truly apologetic - he either didn’t fully realize the scope of how hurtful his lies and manipulations were, or he just didn’t care, but the bottom line is that he always chose his fantasy of liz over his actual friends. around this time, once he knew he was caught, he also deactivated his private account, but brought it back a week or so later, with all of the subtweets and tweets about liz being deleted. all of the unverified accounts that were supposed to be liz - the tumblr account, psn, twitch, etc. - were all fake and made by him, so he could make it seem more real.

even if he WAS telling the truth about being friends with liz, he still would have completely violated her privacy by the amount of “secret” things he told all of us - from her kinks/sex life, to work life, to very personal things that he claims happened to her. knowing it’s all fake though, and he made up an entire personality and life for liz that doesn’t exist??? it’s insane.

now the part with kim - she’s known gil irl for over 10 years, and has tweeted about liz all the time, about how “good” liz is to her because of gil, and that she’s the one who encouraged him to talk to her. she brags about it constantly, even though none of it is real. she also tweeted multiple times throughout 2018-2019 about how gil “finally deserves to meet liz in person”, even though gil said he met liz irl back in 2017 or so - AND that she came to texas, where he lives, to meet him and his friends. when asked about her tweets, he said that kim’s account was “messed up” and her tweets weren’t “tweeted at the right time”. one of my friends reached out to tell her and show her the proof of gil lying, because gil has been lying to her and other people irl too, and instead she mocked us, belittled us, and chose not to believe a group of women coming to her about a 30 year old (!!) man manipulating us. gil said that kim was “aware of it all being a lie for years now” to me, but i think that was another lie, that he’s STILL lying to her about it. if not, then that means that kim was also lying for many years about knowing liz too, and used it to make us all the butt of her joke, so. so much for her being an “empath” and wanting to help people but anyways!!

the last screenshot is of her subtweeting us and implying that everyone involved with liz is lying for her and gil’s privacy, even though we have proof that that simply isn’t true.

i’m sorry for how long this is, but i need people to understand how serious this is. he’s been lying for 5 YEARS now about knowing liz - about her “accidentally sending nudes” to him, that gil is one of her best friends and he would’ve been at her wedding, that she’s a huge gamer who plays with him - all of it. it’s all lies. he created a fantasy version of liz that doesn’t exist, and incorporated into his real life, his friendships both online and off, and made it his entire personality. he’s not sorry about what he’s done - as i’m writing this, he’s still on tumblr, talking in the tags to “liz” again, because he’d rather uphold his fantasy life where he’s best friends with liz when in reality, she has no idea he even exists. and if she did, i’m certain that she would be disgusted with what he’s done. he lied about her, oversexualized her, used his kinks on her which was brought onto me - someone he knew that was vulnerable and had feelings for him, manipulated people into trying to believe his lies, gaslit people to make them unable to tell what was true and what was fake, and had absolutely zero respect for any of us. he even listened to me cry to him on the phone MULTIPLE times about how insecure and worthless i felt to him compared to liz, and he didn’t do ANYTHING about it. he sat there and listened to me cry, knowing he could own up to his lie, and he chose not to. he’s not sorry about what he’s done, and he’s going to continue to spread his lies. please block him. i can’t express how much he’s hurt me, the therapy that i need to have because of him, how much he’s hurt my friends and how little he respects women in general tbh. he always tried to come off as “one of the good guys” but now i know he’s harmful and not to be trusted. he even tried to separate me from my friends, and make it seem like they’re the ones making this situation even harder for him. i’ve tried so, so many times to get through to him, waiting to see if he’d change or show some remorse or anything, but after over a year of this i don’t think he will, and it genuinely hurts me to know that. BLOCK HIM.

If you want all the sims in your game to have skins nicer than the EA default then you must use default replacement skins or take each and every one of them into CAS and put the non-default skins on them. The same with non-default eyes. I do not bring every sim in town into CAS so use default skins and eyes, one for the males and one for the.

These default skins and skin overlays can really change the look of your newly created sims characters and make them feel entirely real, like someone you’d see down the street instead of someone who you’d see in a cartoon which can add depth to your gameplay.

There are hundreds of default skins out there, but we wanted to compile 25 of our favorite skin overlays and skin mods for The Sims 4 into an easily digestible list so you can find your new favorite skin for your new digital friends.

1. Ethereal Skin Overlay by Bill Sims

This first skin overlay is extremely realistic and will make your sims look so incredible. It has nice face detailing giving way more dimension to your sims instead of just a smooth surface.

Using the ethereal skin overlay will get your sims looking like they belong on Instagram instead of in a video game so you’ll be jealous of how gorgeous your sims are.

2. FIT Skin Overlay by Pralinesims

The FIT Skin Overlay by Pralinesims is a really great option to make your sims look so incredible. It will add tons of detail to both their body and their faces, making them look so smooth and realistic.

This skin mod is great if your sim uses the fitness skill a ton because it makes six packs on sims look so much more detailed and realistic.

3. Healthy Skin Overlay by PralineSims

If you want your sims to look extremely healthy and vibrant, the healthy skin overlay is a must have for your game. Like seriously, download it right now. It adds so much detail to your sims to make them so gorgeous.

This is a great option for a default skin replacement so your sims of all ages can be looking perfect all the time.

4. Hydra Skin Overlay by Praline Sims

The hydra skin overlay by PralineSims is so good and makes your sims look like they are HYDRATED and their skin is super soft. I wish my skin looked this good in real life sometimes.

Hydra skin can be a great option for any sim because it gives just the right amount of texture while smoothing out the vibe and making it so gorgeous.

5. Isleroux’s Default Skin Replacement

If you want a more simple default skin replacement that keeps the artistic vision of The Sims 4, but makes it look a bit less cartoony then the Isleroux Default Skin is for you.

This is a really great option if you’re just starting to dive into custom content and skin mods for The Sims 4 because its hard to jump in from 0 and this is a great starting option.

6. Lazarus Skinblend by GrimCookies

Grimcookies is an awesome custom content creator and the lazarus skin blend is a great option for a default skin replacement. This skin blend looks awesome on sims of any skin tone and adds so much dimension to their face.

This is one of the skin blends on this list that is always in my game, and makes my sims feel much more real which leads to me connecting to them on a whole different level.

7. Lucia Skin by Satanies

Thelucia skin by satanies will add a ton of dimension to your sims bodies including some interesting dimension around the belly button and highlighting on specific parts of the body.

It comes in seven different swatch colors so you have a bit of options for this skin, and it looks great on all sorts of sims.

8. Lunaria Skinblend by Nesurii

This lunaria skinblend by Nesurii will add such a beautiful highlight right under your sim’s eyes, you won’t be able to stop talking about how cute they look. Sometimes skin mods try to do too much, but this one does just the right amount.

You can make this your everyday default skin choice and all of your sims will be looking absolutely perfect, add a bit of make up and a cute outfit and your sims are ready for their new life.

9. Markus Skin Overlay by Ms Blue

If you have sims who want to focus on their fitness skill and gain some serious muscles, you’ll want to download the Markus Skin Overlay by Ms Blue. This skin will add so many extra details to fit sims and looks so good.

This is great for sims in the athletic careerand will make sure that you have crushes on the pixels that get to look that good.

10. Mary Skin by Blahberry Pancake

The Mary Skin by Blahberry Pancake will have your sims looking like real humans, instead of like a perfectly photoshopped supermodel. This is great for all sorts of sims, but only works for female sims so be aware of that before downloading.

This skin just looks like people you know, instead of people you strive to look like so it can totally make your sims feel like your family members instead of like Instagram models.

11. Mia Skin Overlay by Milarasims

TheMia Skin Overlay by MilaraSims adds some much need skin details to your sims face. This skin mod adds some dimension to your sim’s cupid’s bow and adds some detail to their under eye as well.

The great thing about this skin is that is still feels real with texture, instead of just looking airbrushed. You’ll find that this looks great on so many sims, no matter what their vibe is.

12. Mirabelle Skin Overlay by Ms Blue

If you like to see pores and skin texture on your sims, instead of the cartoon vibes from the game, you’ll want to grab the Mirabelle Skin Overlay by Ms Blue. This adds some colour to your sims eye area which is just something that happens to humans naturally.

As you can see in the image, the mirabelle skin will look gorgeous both with make up on your sim, and without, making sure they look gorgeous no matter which outfit they are wearing.

13. Papillon Skin Blend by Vivavi

If your vibe for sims is smooth and simple, the papillon skin blend by vivavi is a great option. This one doesn’t add a ton of texture, but it makes your sims nose look a bit more prominent and adds some much needed shading to the face and body.

This is a really great option for people who like more realistic sims, but not super realistic alpha sims like some of these other skin details and skin mods.

14. Powder Skin Overlay by Praline Sims

The powder skin overlay by pralinesims is absolutely gorgeous and adds so much detail to your sims. It works for all genders in the game, and all skin tones with different shades to match whichever sim you decide to use it on.

You’ll see so many gorgeous aspects like eye detailing, and torso texture that you just won’t see on a traditional sim in the game. Super gorgeous, great option for all players.

15. PS Alpha Skin Overlay by Praline Sims

The alpha skin overlay by pralinesims is very pretty and will add a bit of texture to your sim’s under eyes, giving them more dimension and making them look much more interesting than a regular sim.

There’s a ton of detailing on your sim’s body when you use the alpha skin, and it will match so well with any alpha hair and make up you use on your sims.

16. Resilient Skin Blend by Plumhead

If you love the look of a rosy cheek on your sim, the resilient skin by plumhead is a great option for you. This skin will add some nice color to your sim’s face and make them look extremely cute.

This skin looks great on teenage sims who are just coming into themselves and are growing up, or on just about any other sims.

17. Shadowboxing Freckle Set by SimReaper

Although this isn’t a default skin, adding freckles to any of the skins on this list will change the vibe of your sim entirely. The shadowboxing freckle set by simreaper is a great option for an extremely freckled face.

As someone who has always wanted freckles, this is a skin detail that I absolutely love to use on my sims to make them have my dream face. So adorable!

18. Skeleton Skin Overlays by Obj

Okay, this is a weird one. The skeleton skin overlay by OBJ just makes me laugh, so I wanted to add it to the list. If you want to add some serious weirdness to your game, this is a great option.

This skin will turn your sims into weird black and white skeletons that look very, very odd in and out of clothing. You’ll never have a realistic looking sim again!

19. Skin Details by RemusSirion

These contour skin details by remussirion are so great because they can add some facial contouring to make your sims look way more interesting. There are a variety of contour types, so you get a ton of options.

Using contour skin is a great option for making your sims look more unique, so its so nice to see creators making stuff like this.

20. Subtle Freckles & Moles by WildlyMiniatureSandwich

Another way to make your sims look extremely unique is adding freckles or moles, but most creators make these items with just about too much going on. The subtle freckles and moles are a great option if you want a sim that just has a few all over.

21. Sweet Scars Skin Details by Sagittariah

If you want to add more unique things to your sim’s face, the sweet scars skin detailmight be for you. This adds scars on the nose or the eye, making your sims extremely unique looking.

These types of skin mods can make your sims so interesting, and give them unique back stories to how they got these scars.

22. Toddler Skintone Set by Kai Sims

There are a lot of skin mods that work for adult sims, but not a lot of them cater to toddlers. This toddler skin tone set will add new skin to your game for just your toddlers making them look completely different than the EA default.

Having this in your game gives you many more options for your sim toddlers, making them way cuter in the process.

Praline Sims never disappoints and the veox skin overlay definitely doesn’t disappoint either. This adds some nice details to your sim’s eyes making them look much more realistic with eye options giving you even more customization.

This also adds a very popular blush trend that can make your sims look like they are always flushed and feeling gorgeous.

25. Yuki Skin by Blahberry Pancake

If you are looking for realistic and not filtered skin, Blahberry Pancakes Yuki Skin will not disappoint. This skin will add realistic pores and coloring that you’d never see in a default EA skin, making these sims look so good.
