BOWLING ALLEY & FOOD HALL

The Growing Together expansion pack brought a lot of new family gameplay features for adults & babies but it sort of left out teens & elders. I was brainstorming what sort of community lot both teens & elders would enjoy & came up with a bowling alley + food hall. 

This converted industrial warehouse is the spot for your youths & seniors alike. Your elderly sims can grab a drink at the bar while they bowl a few frames with their retiree league. For a fun night out your teen sims will have all the food a growing sim can eat at the variety of food stalls. After fueling up they can play some arcade games, darts, or a round of ping pong with their pals. I was sure to include items for all ages & even pets so everyone is welcome here. There are plenty of toys & even a mini playground for the whole family to enjoy.

bowl & bubbles

a bowling alley and a hookah (bubbles) lounge. because bowling is such a huge part of my own life and there's a million bowling alleys and leagues in detroit, i had to include it. this makes the last lot on this strip (wooooo :)). now i just have to go through and add little random grass patches, street lights, cars, and do the furnishings.

this is the lot i lost like an hour or so ago but i forgot that i was born good at everything :)). i rebuilt it all. crisis averted.

Welcome to The Bee Save!

This is a total redesign of the Sims 4 worlds and townies. The lots come in new and interesting architectural styles not explored in the base world, and the sims inhabiting them are stylish and have full personalities. New world descriptions, community lots (a bowling alley! an ice rink/diner! a movie theater!), and everything else you would want when you open up the game. It also includes plenty of multi-generational families spread across the worlds.

This is a pack-integrated save file: All packs (except Journey to Batuu and the dust kit) are utilized across the worlds. There are eco-friendly and industrial neighborhoods outside of Evergreen Harbor, lifestyles outside of Mt. Komorebi, vet clinics outside of Brindleton Bay, and more. Because of this, items or CAS details may be replaced or deleted by the game if you do not have all the packs.

Version 2.0 Changes

The hospital, police station, and science lab are all built now. If you want to download them for previous saves using this file, they are on the gallery. Username is the same as my Patreon.

No more kleptomaniacs...because apparently they just steal stuff.

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS:

To download, simply place the attached file in your saves folder. THIS IS NOT A MOD; IT DOES NOT GO IN YOUR MODS FOLDER. Read it, then read it again if you aren't familiar with downloading custom saves. If you already have the same slot filled, you can rename it to a later number as long as it has the same amount of digits. You may have to scroll down when you open the game and hit 'load game' in order to find it.

Remember to adjust your gameplay settings when you start up. As it is, the save file has autonomy and aging off.

Please note: This is an integrated pack file. If you do not have certain packs, certain CAS items and objects will not appear.

so, i've been working on a save file since march of this year and while i'm not even close to being done i still wanted to put just a little taste of it out into the world! so here is version 1 of my save file!

i've decided to just put out willow creek and magnolia promenade in this version and wait for the new pack the sims 4 for rent to put out oasis springs and newcrest simply bc i have "fake" apartments in them and thought it'd be best to wait for the new EP so that then they will be real apartments! :)

here you'll find 39 new townies (not including pets!) 25 new lots which includes 10 households, 10 community lots and 5 empty houses! willow creeks park got a BIG renovation! it now has blooming flowers and a nice wedding spot! underneath it you'll find everything you need for a wedding party!

for the community you'll find a gym, nightclub, library and a mall with little park area. all the empty homes are literally empty for more realism but there are 2 cute furnished starter homes aswell :)

in magnolia promenade you'll find a lovely bakery owned by the little family in wc. a cafe, a restaurant (owned by a family coming soon!) and a karaoke bar which is also a bowling alley (named after my bestie who loves a good bowling alley)

how to install: open your downloads folder unzip my save then go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves and plop the save file right in! remember to back up your saves just incase. when you open your game you should see a save like this!

then all you need to do is enjoy a new fresh willow creek and magnolia promenade :)

Guys. I've done it. I've figured out the lore significance of Freddy and Bonnie being lovers.

So first, some background on Freddy and Bonnie's relationship-

Right from the beginning, the two of them were always connected. In fnaf 1-4, you always encounter Bonnie before Freddy, like he's checking things out to let Freddy know he's good to go or something. In Sister Location, you use BonBon's voice to calm Freddy down. In Security Breach, first Freddy mentions how he doesn't go to the bowling alley anymore because he misses Bonnie too much, and then in Ruin, when you find all Bonnie's old stuff, he had a whole bunch of Freddy merch, including a poster signed with "You and me forever and ever, love Freddy", and behind the poster is a whole in the wall with a tunnel leading directly to fazer blast.

Right at the start of the timeline, when it was still Fredbear's family diner, the first two animatronics were Fredbear and Spring Bonnie (Whose later incarnations would be Freddy and Bonnie). These suits were worn by Henry and William respectively.

In The Silver Eyes when they searched William's house, they found tons of diary entries about his borderline obsession with Henry. Freddy and Bonnie's relationship is symbolic of William's obsession with Henry.

After William/Bonnie was gone, his place was filled with items that made it a monument to his devotion to Henry/Freddy.

There's another part in Sister Location where you power off Freddy, and Bonbon tries to kill you, as if Freddy was the one keeping him in check. William's obsession with Henry was what kept him focused, and then when he started to mentally deteriorate after Charlie's murder, William slipped further into madness too.

This whole thing started with William's obsession driving him to kill Henry's first born and the one he cared about most (Charlie), and it ended with Henry killing William's first born (Mike) and the one he cared about most (Henry himself) in the pizza sim fire.

Here is the fifth version of my Dizzy Isy Save File. I have fixed all the photos and painted animals. It took me forever which is why the French version is not finished. I just don’t have the energy to do it all again. 

Moonwood Mill and Copperdale are now renovated, complete with new lots and families with their own storylines/relationships. Some of the new lots and sims can be seen below. In addition to the new residents, I tried to make sure that the students in Copperdale were populated with well-known teens from my previous versions.

It is a busy save file with many lots filled to stop random spawning of townies but the empty lots will soon quickly fill up with townie families if you don’t use them.

The townies are clearly marked in the unplayed tab with the #townies so you know who is meant to have a lot and who isn’t.

Don’t worry, there is no chance of suffering or reliving painful high school memories as Averie is super popular, a cheerleader, loved up with a cute football player and rich. Like old money rich! She even has a bowling alley in her basement. Have fun! If you feel like taking smug little Averie down, feel free to play it that way too :)

Another Pleasantview

Almost every single lot has been remodeled, renovated, or replaced by me. I also added a few new houses, a bowling alley, a gym, a church, and a cemetery.

Sims have been genetically corrected by either myself or simgigglegirl.

Scripted events are available, although a few of the first prompts were already closed out. The only 4 lots I didn't do are the unoccupied trailers and the two condos closest to them.

All Pleasantview townies are now using my default templates.

The Oldies and Burbs have already been placed and have furnished homes. The Oldies live across from the park, and the Burbs live in their (probably) canon house next to the Goths (you can see it in the promos from Happy Holidays).

The Newbies have been placed. Joe, the brother of Brandi, and Jane from the Tutorial are both genetically correct and live next to the Dreamers.

The hood itself is made with MeetMetotheRiver's clean Pleasantview template. It's also CC free.

Because I copied over the houses from my other PV, Don has a "great date" arrangement in his kitchen…..from Bella. Oops. Don't judge me. Anyway, you can just ignore it…..unless you don't want to wink wink.

A few more pictures:

290 Main Street, the grocery store.

330 Main Street, an outlet mall shopping center. Has an H&M, a furniture store, a food court, a bookstore, and a music shop (instruments are blocked off so sims don't get annoying with them).

250 Main Street, the pool. Most objects have been removed from the lot so that Sims might actually go swimming.

95 Woodland Drive, the Oldie house. I renovated the entire house and added Mary-Sue's childhood bedroom and tea room.

215 Sim Lane, the Pleasant household. I tried to keep almost every house recognizable so the outside is pretty much the same though I did give Mary-Sue a zen garden. I subscribe to the head canon that Mary-Sue's birth parents are Hand Goddard and Pauline Wan, and as a child, Coral and Herb tried to help Mary-Sue feel connected to her Chinese ancestry. Mary-Sue has never actually been to China and her tastes are exactly what you'd imagine an American who has never been to China would be, and the house reflects that. it's Chinese inspired but still very American. I also slightly changed the shape of the upstairs because Lilith's side has always driven me nuts.

165 Sim Lane, the Goth house. They are one of the few premade families whose house got a full rework. I made it more Victorian looking but did attempt to keep the interior recognizable...slightly. I actually typically play with recolors of the Mansion & Garden pieces I used so in my own version of the hood, the house has black and grey trim instead of white and wood. A few examples of what I've change in PV. Because I changed literally every lot but 4, I wont post pictures of every single thing, but this is the idea. Some houses were more dramatically changed (like the Goth house or 113 Wright Way) while others are more subtly changed.

I removed the stealth hoods themselves but didn't think to disable them beforehand, so the normal default socliates/downtownies are already there, sorry! I did replace the PV townies with my own default face templates, so there's that at least.

Guidelines I follow as well as any helpful links to some name generators will be under the cut! ♥

Starting a new Neighborhood can be tough! Where do you even start? Well, this written guide and video above is here to help you get started!

STEP 1: Creating/Choosing a Template - If you want to start from COMPLETELY SCRATCH, open up SimCity 4 and create your own map! - If that's too difficult or you just don't want to (like me!), you can download maps off ModTheSims or use the ones already provided in-game for you! :)

STEP 2: Naming Your Neighborhood/Lots - Take inspiration from real life! - Generators also help A TONNN! Below I linked the ones I like most! Feel free to mix and match them to come up with more unique combinations!

Fantasy Name Generators (Town Names) Mithril And Mages - City Names Sims 2 Name Generator

STEP 3: Lot Planning - Personally, I like to keep Community Lots/Apartments near the center of the map, and Residential homes around the sides/edges - Decide if you want just Small, Medium and/or Large lots in your neighborhood! - Place them around the map to figure out a layout until you are satisfied!

STEP 4: Choosing Your Community Lots - Main Hood Essentials: Cemetery, Restaurant, Park, Clothing Store, Grocery Store - University Essentials: Library, Town Hall, Lounge, Gym - Shopping District Essentials: Everything you can imagine! I also like to leave space for Sims to own their own businesses! I tend to use Shopping Districts as Secondary-Main Neighborhoods! - Downtown Essentials: Bowling Alley, Bar, Restaurant, Cemetery - Vacation Essentials: Hotels, Parks, Landmarks After I have the essentials, I fill in the gaps with whatever I want! Like I added a Car Dealership in my main neighborhood as well as a Cosmetic Surgery clinic! I also added a Train Station in my University!

The Mithril and Mages link above is great to come up with names and business ideas too!

STEP 5: Decorating Your 'Hood - I do this overtime! I don't think there's ever been a time where I've stopped decorating! Start by placing some trees or the flower decorations around the empty lots you placed!

STEP 6: Neighborhood/Lot Descriptions - Personally the hardest thing about Custom Neighborhoods! The good thing though is these can be left blank and nobody would know! - My best advice is to wait until most of the 'hood is built up, and then come with some descriptions! - Photoshopping the pictures like EA/Maxis will create beautiful pictures for the Neighborhood Stories album! (This is another post for another time)

STEP 7: The Families - Can't have a complete neighborhood without Sims and Families! - Use the Random Aspect Generator to come up with various Personalities for your Sims! - If you forgot to use a Clean Template (No Townies), I found a mod that will change up their names! - Take inspiration from TV Shows or the other Sims games! I always tend to recreate the Broke Family's storyline and Malcolm Landgraab's storyline with 2 families in my neighborhoods! (I like having a Rich and a Poor family lmao)

Creating new neighborhoods is always so much fun! I hope some of these guidelines help you get inspired!
