So I've never done anything like this before and idk what possessed me to do it now but here we are I guess! Each generation of this challenge is inspired by a Doctor Who (2005-) companion! Some generations are more strict or packed with things to do than others. Same with how closely they stick to the life of the companions - some things are accurate, some stuff is loosely based Currently there's 11 generations with the final one being Dan Lewis plus three bonus generations. I will be updating this challenge with future companions (Ruby etc) whenever their time on the main show comes to an end. I will also be making a TS3 version of this as soon as I can that I will update this post to include a link to If you do this challenge and plan on posting it I'd love if you used #tscompanionlegacy so I can see it LAST UPDATE 10/06/24 (keep reading for details)
Tumblr media
UPDATES 10/06/24
Complete Yaz generation overhaul
Three bonus generations (Jack, River, Nardole) added
Misc typo corrections
Changed Martha generation degree
Some generation colour switches
Tumblr media
Heirs don't need to be the same gender, sexuality etc as the character their generation is inspired by
Normal or long lifespan is recommended
Use as few cheats as possible
All asterisk (*) mark generation requirements are optional
As your heirs age up, give them the required traits in the order that they're listed
Each generation has a colour (assigned mostly based on an outfit that the companion wears in the show) and you can use it as much or little as you like
There is a connection between each generation in their descriptions but you could ignore them and do the legacy in a random order if you wanted to
If baby specifics aren't mentioned anywhere in the generation rules assume you can have as many or few as you like as long as you have at least one to continue to legacy
Basically all of this is just a guide, you should just do what you want in order to get the most fun out of this challenge

I have never watched Big Brother. I have seen bits and pieces of the show, but never seen the whole thing. But, the show still gave me an idea for a challenge: when you want to play multiple different TS4 challenges, but don’t know which one to choose, or you already know which legacy challenge you want to play but don’t know which founder you want to use, or you can’t choose between heirs for your next generation of a current legacy you’re playing, why not play a “reality competition show” style challenge to pick? So here I’ve written up some rules to use for this exact thing.
This is written for people who are sharing their playthroughs of this challenge, but this doesn’t need to be shared anywhere for it to be played. Below, I will give suggestions on other ways to play.
Also, this was created with TS4 in mind, but if you want to adapt it to be used for one of the other incarnations, please feel free!
If you want the Google Document for ease of viewing, it is located: HERE.
If you decide to play this as well, tag it as #LHCChallenge or #TS4LHCC so I can see it!
Tumblr media
Create 8 sims (or as many sims as you’re having trouble choosing from). However you’re using this challenge, the only limit is your imagination!
This is NOT based on a romantic reality show. It’s a competition through and through - all of the sims in the household can be friends, but they are not meant to be romantic. However, if any of them show romantic interest in each other, it doesn’t mean you have to squash that - it all depends on what you want.
Genders don’t matter unless they do for a challenge you’re thinking of doing (if that’s what you’re playing this for).
As said above, this is for anything you want. It doesn’t even have to be used as a decision maker - if you just want to play the challenge because it sounds fun, that works too!
Move them into whatever lot you want to, but just know that they will not be staying here for the entire challenge. This is just for the first week. You can cheat to give them literally any amount of money, and cheat literally however you want.
HOWEVER, if you have a favorite sim to win, you may not cheat to have them win a specific game to get immunity. That would render this entire challenge meaningless, and you should just play with that sim instead.
This isn’t an asylum challenge - you may control every sim, and you must have enough beds and bathrooms for every sim in the household. Also, aging must be off.
All skilling objects and other such things are allowed, but careers are not. Your sims may not leave the lot unless it comes time for a game and the game takes your household somewhere else.
Rules continued under the cut -
Tumblr media
If you are playing this in a story-like way on Tumblr, or YouTube, or somewhere, then set aside each sim and write/tell a little bit about them for your audience. After all, if you are sharing this, your audience is your biggest asset, and they will be deciding who wins - they’ll need to know who they’re voting for! If you’re deciding what legacy to play, give them a little information about which legacy each of your sims would be a founder for. It’s all up to you.
After you’re done with the introductions, let the sims do their thing. If you’re a control freak, then do whatever you want with them to show off their personalities - if you’re an autonomy fan, let them free and see what they get up to.
For the first two days of the week (Sunday and Monday), let your sims just get to know each other, and let you get to know them. Very relaxed days.
On the third day (Tuesday) is when the first game, Lawn Living, begins.
Tuesday morning, bulldoze your entire lot and reduce your simoleons to $10k. Purchase what you deem necessary for lawn living, as well as some items for making money, like an easel or whatever else you want. (If this is after Enchanted by Nature comes out, you don’t even necessarily need to buy them anything.) Once you have all the items you need, reduce your money even further, to $0.
You may make the lot a Tiny Home to help with skilling, and you may add whatever lot traits or lot challenges you think will help your sims, as long as they don’t help only one or two sims. You may not create unfair advantages for your favorites.
Now each of your sims will be trying to make as much money as they can. Scavenging for items around the neighborhood, painting, knitting, literally anything that can make them some money.
But this is the important part: keep the items each sim finds in their inventory until the end of the day, and write down any extra simoleons they make (maybe from busking on the sidewalk). On a document somewhere, write how much money each sim makes each day, and sell the items at the end of the day.
Do this on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday you may tally up the money each sim made separately, like they were playing a big game of Monopoly, or Life. Whichever sim made the most money (even if only by a single simoleon) is the winner. The winner of the challenge receives immunity from elimination, and is thus exempt from the weekly vote.
In the event of a tie, have your sims play a game of ping pong/table tennis (or juice pong if they’re feeling adventurous). If there are more than two sims in the tie, play as many times as you feel necessary. The ultimate winner of the tie breaker will get immunity from elimination.
If you are playing this without posting it for anyone to see, on Saturday you must find a way to do the elimination. A random wheel, a randomizer, etc. Or you may eliminate whichever sim got the least amount of simoleons in the challenge.
If you are posting for others, stop playing the challenge on Saturday night. Put up a poll for your audience to vote for their favorite sim, and leave it up for a day (or a week if you’re going to be unable to play for a while). When the poll ends, the sim with the least amount of votes is eliminated.
If there is a tie for least amount of votes in the poll, put up a secondary poll between the sims in the tie. If there is still a tie at the end of the second poll, you may pick between the ones left.
Tumblr media
Move to a different world on Sunday morning, once your poll has ended and you can play again. Leave the sim who lost behind at the original house, and mark them as unplayed so they can have their own life. (You may build them an actual house before you move out if you wish.)
If you’d like and are playing this story-wise, you can create a “Truth Booth,” and have your sims give little testimonies about how they’re feeling so far. Completely optional.
Once again, for Sunday and Monday, your sims may just get to know their new home, spend time together, and do whatever they want to do, or you want them to do. No leaving the home lot, however.
On Tuesday morning, the second game, Autonomy Nightmare, begins. First, bulldoze the entire lot once again. However, this time, you will build enough identical room-boxes with no doors for as many sims as are left in your household. The size of the room box is up to you, but there must only be a single room for each box.
In each box, place 1 fridge, 1 stove, 1 outdoor garbage can, 2 counters, 1 toilet, 1 shower, 1 sink, 1 bed, and 2 items to build fun. (Your choice). Other than these items, you are free to decorate how you wish.
Once each box is built, teleport 1 sim into each box. That is their home until Friday morning.
Now, the hard part: you must give every sim full autonomy for all 3 days. You may only control them if it seems like they’re going to die.
This game will be won through a point system.
Positive points: +5 for sleeping in bed, +1 for napping, +5 for cooking a meal and eating it, +1 for getting a quick meal to eat, +5 for using the toilet, +5 for taking a shower, +5 for autonomous cleaning, +10 for autonomously putting out a fire if one starts, +5 for increasing social somehow.
Negative points: -10 for controlling the sim if they are not in danger of dying, -5 for passing out, -5 for starting a fire, -5 for having a bladder accident, -5 for leaving hygiene in red, -5 for leaving piles of garbage on the ground, -5 for leaving fun need in red. If your sim’s hunger gets to the red, you may direct them to eat without penalty. This isn’t that kind of challenge.
If, for any reason, you are unable to keep your sim from dying, you must keep them around as a playable ghost (if you own Life and Death), and you may either keep them as a ghost or change them back into a human using cheats/mods.
On Friday morning, you may bulldoze the boxes and rebuild a nice home for the sims. Once you’ve done this, tally up the points that each sim gained or lost, and see which sim has the most points. Once again, in the event of a tie, use the ping pong table to break the tie, no matter how many sims it is.
The winner of the game is immune from elimination and exempt from the poll.
If you are playing this without posting it for anyone to see, on Saturday you must find a way to do the elimination. A random wheel, a randomizer, etc. Or you may eliminate whichever sim got the least amount of points in the challenge.
If you are posting for others, stop playing the challenge on Saturday night. Put up a poll for your audience to vote for their favorite sim, and leave it up for a day. When the poll ends, the sim with the least amount of votes is eliminated.
If there is a tie for least amount of votes in the poll, put up a secondary poll between the sims in the tie. If there is still a tie at the end of the second poll, you may pick between the ones left.
Tumblr media
Move to a different world on Sunday morning. Leave the sim who lost behind at the original house, and mark them as unplayed so they can have their own life. The new world may not be the world from any other week.
On Tuesday morning, the next game, Speed Skilling, begins. You may keep your lot, but build a large basement room, large enough for multiple skilling objects.
In the room, place a treadmill, a guitar, a computer, a keyboard, a mirror, and a microphone. If you have more or less than 6 sims at this point, feel free to add or remove different skill objects.
Teleport all of your sims into the room, fill their needs, and then lock their needs and turn off autonomy. Pick an object for each sim, and get them started on it. For the computer, mirror, and microphone, you may pick which skill you want them to work on, but that is the only skill that is allowed on that object for all sims. However, you may only “practice” - you may not write a book or create any items using programming skill.
If any of the sims already have any of the skills you are going to be building during this game, reset them. All sims must start at the same knowledge level to make it fair.
Once the sim on the treadmill gets fatigued, move each sim to the next object, either clockwise or counter-clockwise. Continue until the next sim on the treadmill gets fatigued, and rotate the sims once again. Keep going, they are not allowed to stop for anything. If any of the items break, replace the object. This is to continue from Tuesday morning through Thursday night, and they are allowed to stop at midnight Thursday night/Friday morning.
On Friday morning, calculate which sims gained the most skills overall, down to the percentage. Once again, if there is a tie, use the ping pong table to break the tie. Whichever sim wins this game is immune to elimination and exempt from the poll.
If you are playing this without posting it for anyone to see, on Saturday you must find a way to do the elimination. A random wheel, a randomizer, etc. Or you may eliminate whichever sim got the least amount of skill points during the challenge.
Leave the sim who lost at the original house, and mark them as unplayed so they can have their own life. The new world may not be the world from any other week.
On Tuesday morning, the next game, It’s A Date, begins. This one is quite a bit different from the previous ones - you will not be staying on the lot. Instead, you will build (or place) 3 separate lots - a bar, a lounge, and a nightclub. Each lot must have the convivial lot trait. All other lot traits and challenges are up to you.
Once again, you must fill your sims’ needs and lock them for the next three days. As soon as the needs are filled, go to the first venue: the bar. All sims in the household must go.
Once you are at the bar, your sims must have full autonomy. You may hire a bartender if there are none working, but that is all. Just observe their behavior, see what they do, who they interact with. At the beginning of the game, none of the sims should know anyone outside of the household.
On Wednesday morning, switch venues to the lounge, and once again, leave the sims to their own autonomy. You may hire a bartender if there are none working, but that is all. Do not initiate anything. Let them do their thing.
On Thursday morning, switch to the last venue, the nightclub. You may hire a DJ if none are working, but that is all. The sims must be allowed to do their own thing (even if that thing is woohoo or other adult activities - if you play with Wicked Whims, you may accept it if your sim gets propositioned, and you must accept if one of your sims is the one doing the propositioning).
On Friday morning, send your sims home and unlock their needs. You may control them again.
At this time, you must also see how many new sims your sims have met. Every acquaintance they didn’t know before counts for +1, every friend counts for +2, every good friend counts for +3, and every sim with romance counts for +5. Disliked sims count for +1, strongly disliked for +2,  despised for +3, and enemies for +5. All of these are only for sims they didn’t know before. So if they have any of these with each other, that doesn’t count. Whatever sim ends up with the most points based on the sims they met is the winner, and is immune from elimination and exempt from the poll.
If you are playing this without posting it for anyone to see, on Saturday you must find a way to do the elimination. A random wheel, a randomizer, etc. Or you may eliminate whichever sim ends up with the least amount of points.

On Tuesday morning, the next game, It’s so Haunted!, begins. For this one you don’t need to bulldoze the lot, but you do need to change it into a haunted house. If you do not own Paranormal Stuff, you may do whatever you wish for this game. I recommend a smaller house with one floor for this challenge, because you will need to keep an eye on all 4 of your contestants at all times.
From Tuesday through Thursday night, your sims must live in a haunted house. You may not give any of them the brave reward trait. For the most part, try to leave the sims to their autonomy, but you will not be penalized for controlling them.
Once again, we’re going for points. You must have each sim lead a seance once. For every successful seance, the sim that leads the seance gets +5 points. +5 for every sim that autonomously befriends Guidry, +5 for every sim that autonomously befriends Bonehilda, and if a sim manages to befriend Temperance autonomously, they get +10 points. Every sim that appeases a spirit gets +5 points, every sim that autonomously removes a cursed object gets +5. If a sim autonomously maxes the medium skill, they get +10 points.
For negative points, the only negative points will be for sims that incoherently scream at others about their fear, because living in a haunted house is hard enough. For screaming at other sims and sharing their fear, they get -5 points.
On Friday morning, you may change your household back into a regular lot, and calculate the points that each sim calculated. Once again, if there is a tie you may use the ping pong table to break the tie. Whoever wins the challenge wins immunity from elimination and is exempt from the poll. This is the final immunity.
If you are playing this without posting it for anyone to see, on Saturday you must find a way to do the elimination. A random wheel, a randomizer, etc. Or you may eliminate whichever sim ends up with the least amount of points.

On Tuesday morning, the semi-final game, Get to Know Me, begins. Place 3 rental lots (not apartment rental like from For Rent), each one placed in an area relating to each of the final 3 sims.
On Tuesday, pick the first sim in your sim list and take only them on a one day vacation to the vacation rental relating to them. During this day, fully focus on showing off this sims’ attributes, do some work on their aspiration, some skilling, just really show who they are. During this time, you may send your sim out to meet different sims at local spots, as long as it’s part of your sim’s personality to do so.
On Wednesday, do the same thing with the next sim in your list. Dedicate this day to showing who they are.
On Thursday, do the same thing with the last sim in your list. Dedicate this day to showing who they are.
This is not a competition game, it’s only so that the audience - and you, the player - can get to know these final three sims better. No points, nothing, just getting to know them.
On Friday morning, take all three sims out to a community lot to just have fun together, have a BBQ, or a dance party, something, and let them do their own thing today.
If you are playing this without posting it for anyone to see, on Saturday you must find a way to do the elimination. A random wheel, a randomizer, etc. Or you can eliminate whichever sim you had the least amount of fun playing during those 3 days.
If you are posting for others, stop playing the challenge on Saturday night. Put up a poll for your audience to vote for their favorite sim, and leave it up for a day. When the poll ends, the sim with the least amount of votes is eliminated.

On Tuesday morning, the final game, I’ll Miss You, begins. It’s not really a game. On the calendar, plan out 3 parties, one on Tuesday night, one on Wednesday night, and one on Thursday night.
Tuesday’s party will be a dinner party hosted by both sims. Invite all of the previous contestants, as well as any of the sims that your sims have met during the course of the competition. Try to get gold at the party, but that’s not the point of this.
Wednesday’s party will be a Dance Party. Once again, invite all of the previous contestants as well as any sims your sims have met over the course of the competition - all of the same sims you invited to the first party.
Thursday’s party will be a House Party. Once again, invite all of the previous contestants as well as any other sims your sims have met - all of the same sims you invited to the first party.
On Friday, do whatever you want to - it can be a casual stay-in day, or you can have another party, or you can go out, etc.
If you are playing this without posting it for anyone to see, on Saturday you must find a way to do the elimination. A random wheel, a randomizer, etc. Or you can pick whichever sim of the remaining two that you had the most fun playing with over the course of the competition.
On Saturday, start the poll whenever you wish. If you want the whole day with both sims, start it at the end of the day, but if you want to know as soon as possible, start the poll right away. For this one, you can have the poll going for as long as you want, since it’s the most important of all of them.
Once you get your result, the sim that won the poll is officially your founder! Start another save file with that sim, or just reset all of their skills and aspiration progress and give them the appropriate start for their legacy.

Rival Matriarchs Challenge Rules
Note: I call this “Rival Matriarchs”, and talk about each matriarch as “she” in the rules. Your matriarchs don’t need to have she/her pronouns. They can be of any gender as long as they can be impregnated.
Yes another new challenge! Basically, this is a rotational 100 baby challenge. Except depending on how many matriarchs you have you might want to go over – or even under, why not – 100 babies. I wanted to do a new 100 baby challenge with infants, but this challenge can get repetitive, so I came up with a solution. This is also meant to be harder than the 100 baby challenge, money-wise especially. Credit to SnarkyWitch for the 100 Baby Challenge rules!
If something hasn’t been mentioned here, the 100 baby challenge rules (linked above) apply.
Starting Out
- You can start this challenge with as many matriarchs as you wish. You will need to decide how many babies you will have in total based on your numbers of matriarchs and how long you want the challenge to last (or you can just keep going until you get tired of the challenge, your call – only thing is you have to end the challenge at the end of a rotation of course).
- Your matriarchs can have any trait or aspirations, but I advise you try to make them different, as the point of this is having a more interesting and varied 100 baby challenge. Your matriarchs can be related, or not. They can be friends, enemies, or not even know each other, the storyline is up to you. The only things are, they must all be the same age, and they cannot be immortal.
- Each matriarch starts alone in her own household with 20 000§ funds.
- Each matriarch needs to buy a furnished starter home (you can use an EA one, get one from the gallery, or if you want to go the easy route, build one that suits your needs). Once the sims are each in their starter homes, set their funds to 0§.
- Your matriarch is not allowed to move lots. You can expand the house when you get money though.
- For lot traits and challenges, they have to be set before the matriarch moves in (whether it’s one of the first matriarchs or a daughter taking over). You cannot add or remove any after.
- You will need the mod MCCC to turn off pregnancy progression when unplayed for the matriarchs. You also need to turn off aging when unplayed for the played households in your game settings (you can leave aging on for your NPC’s). I also recommend turning on aging for pregnant sims with MCCC.
- Each matriarch will be played one sim week in a rotation. The goal is to have 100 (or whichever number you set) babies in total. The matriarchs are competing to see which line will have the most babies out of the 100!
- If you have seasons, you can set the season length as you wish, and start in any season.
Impregnation Rules and RPO Rules
- Each donor (or “baby daddy”) can only impregnate one of the matriarchs once.
- The child of another matriarch can’t become a donor (they are rival lines, the sons of the family are supporting their mothers and sisters!).
- If you have the RPO mod, which I recommend for even more challenge, you cannot make an infertile sim fertile. The only exceptions to this rule are 1. your starting matriarchs (there is no point in you remaking the exact same sim in CAS just to have her be fertile this time) and 2. if you have a collab with someone else, like if a follower or a friend makes you a sim to use as a baby daddy and they turn out infertile, then you are allowed to bump up their fertility to 1.
- If you have the RPO mod, and one or several of your matriarchs have fertility under 33 when she becomes a young adult, you are allowed to bump it up to 33. We want this challenge to be hard, but having to try for a baby over 15 times before it works isn’t hard, it just kills all the fun. If you don’t want to bump up the fertility though, feel free not to, it’s your game after all.
- However, still with RPO, if a matriarch’s fertility lowers due to a miscarriage or simply due to becoming older, you are not allowed to bump it back up. If your matriarch becomes infertile due to a miscarriage, she retires and her youngest daughter takes over. Fertility potions are only allowed when the matriarch or the baby daddy have low fertility (that means they’ve had their fertility checked and it says it’s low).
Money Making Rules
- Each living matriarch needs to earn money a different way. Basically, you can’t have two matriarchs doing painting for money at the same time, however if your matriarch that did painting dies, you can have another doing painting in the future.
- Digging around (going into the world to find plants and fossils and such to sell) does not count in the previous rule, as when starting with 0 simoleons, there isn’t really a way to avoid doing that at some point. However, dumpster diving does count.
-Also, you can try out an activity for a few days then decide it isn’t for your sim, but you aren’t allowed to come back to it after deciding that. This is mostly in case your sim decides she dislikes the activity from the get-go.
Succession Rules
- When a matriarch ages to an elder, one of her daughters still in the household takes over, you get to choose which one. The daughter only takes over when she becomes a young adult, no teen pregnancy here.
- If a matriarch gets a child taken away from her, she failed at her duty. Then the taken child doesn’t not count towards the 100 babies, and your matriarch retires. She doesn’t get to have any more children, and her youngest daughter needs to take on the role of matriarch (you don’t get a choice here).
- When a daughter becomes the next matriarch, she needs to use the household funds to buy a new furnished house. She must sell all of the previous house’s furniture – except things that can’t be replaced like photos, tombstones, birth certificates... Then you have to set the funds back to 0§. These matriarch changes are the only times you’re allowed to move lots, so choose wisely.
That’s it! Use the tag “Rival Matriarchs Challenge” if you do this, you can also tag me on tumblr (OswaNily)! If you have any questions, you can send me an ask.

Hey y'all! I created a Google Doc with these rules just to keep track of it for myself. I wanted to share because I know there are others who do/need the same.
I am in NO WAY taking credit for this challenge. Just created the doc. Thanks!
Vampiric tales: A vampire legacy challenge
VAMPIRIC TALES: A vampire legacy challenge
General rules: -All of your sims must be vampires -For each generation, you must complete three aspirations before moving onto the next one -After three aspirations, your elder vampire and their spouse will retire to a huge gothic mansion/castle in another world, relinquishing the title of coven leader. They will still be an ‘elder’ vampire and can be visited for advice, but they are no longer leaders of the coven – simply wise vampires. -Follow these rules from the ORIGINAL Vampire Coven Challenge (which I couldn’t find online), as building a coven is part of this: -You must have two main ‘elder’ vampires who are grand master vampires and the leaders of the coven. The title of elder can only be bestowed upon your family – more specifically, your current sim, their spouse, and the past generations and their spouse. -You must have four ‘elite’ vampires with level 8 logic skill -You must have six ‘guardian’ vampires with level 8 fitness skill -All other minor vampires and above are considered ‘family’ -All vampires ranking below minor vampire are considered ‘fledglings’ -Every time a new generation is born, turn two new fledglings -Keep records of every vampire through books and/or paintings about them -All generations must master the vampire lore skill -All generations must have the ‘vampire creation’ power -The heir to the coven is your eldest child and their spouse -All vampires, once a master vampire, must be immune to the sun -All the vampires in your coven must be random townies that you find. You must turn them and mould them to make them into who you need them to be (not by changing their traits, just by giving them skills and teaching them vampire lore) -Once your starter sim has moved into Forgotten Hollow and has the vampire creation power, you may start turning sims who will become your elite and guardian vampires. You may not create them in advance. -If any of your vampires die (no judgement), you must keep their grave on your home lot -The main members of your coven must live in Forgotten Hollow – Vlad’s house, your house, a house for the elites, one for the guardians and one for another household of family. Once Forgotten Hollow is full, you may expand into other worlds (you may want to turn Newcrest into a vampire world) but all homes must have the gothic, vampiric vibe of Forgotten Hollow -If you want your elites and guardians to retire, they may do this and you can choose new ones but they must have the necessary skills for the role. You may also keep the same ones throughout the generations. -This is designed for all the packs up to Dream Home Decorator – if you don’t have them, just adapt the challenge as you choose.
Gen One Aspirations: Master Vampire, Vampire Family, World-Famous Celebrity Traits: Genius, romantic, ambitious
To do: -Create a vampire sim with a very gothic vibe and move them into Fledermaus Bend – build them a gothic, vampiric home. You may use money cheats for this. -Marry one of the three original premade vampires in Forgotten Hollow – Vladislaus Straud IV, Caleb Vatore or Lilith Vatore. -Win a vampiric spar against Vlad -Have four or more children -Finish all three named aspirations -Retire to a huge gothic castle/mansion in Del Sol Valley
Story: You are new to Forgotten Hollow. You are a young vampire with a lot of dreams – primarily, you want to build your own vampire coven. Your past was difficult, and you decide to move away to Forgotten Hollow. You have your own house just the way you like it. There, you find three other vampires and you make it your goal to get into their good books. They help you to learn all about being a vampire, and they teach you ancient lore. One of them, you fall in love with along the way. The three of them didn’t get on well at first – but once you enter the picture, the four of you become very close. As you gain in power, you establish a small coven of which you are the leader. You start to turn more vampires and to tutor them as you were tutored. You marry your vampire love and start a family. Once you feel satisfied that you are the most powerful vampire in Forgotten Hollow, you start to focus more on relations within your coven. You want it to feel like an immortal family, and you make sure both your children and the vampires you have turned have a good relationship with you. After that… perhaps you can expand beyond Forgotten Hollow. Perhaps you can take over the world. Believing you can do anything, you start to pursue fame. You start to share tales of your coven around the world and eventually, you really do have it all – love, family, money and global recognition. You decide it’s time to pass on the title of coven leader to your eldest child, probably now grown-up and more than capable of handling everything. Assuring your family that you will always be there if they need you, you and your spouse move away to a huge gothic castle in Del Sol Valley to enjoy a much-deserved retirement. You’ve done very well.
Gen Two Aspirations: Soulmate, nerd brain, outdoor enthusiast Traits: Genius, dance machine, ambitious Career: Secret agent
To do: -Complete your three aspirations -Complete the secret agent career -Get married to another child from the coven -Master the dancing skill as well as all those you need for aspirations -Have two or more children
Story: You were raised in the coven as it grew in power, and you see the love and the power that your parents had and want that for yourself – admittedly, the love more than the power. You’re smart and ambitious like your parent, and you also love to dance… although you’re quite mild and modest, there are a lot of things you can do. As you grow up, you quickly find the soulmate you were looking for in one of the other members of the coven – you’re surprised to find that your dream had been right beside you all along. You get married and start a family, and you pursue a career as a secret agent which surprises a few people, but it’s what you really want to do. You’re incredibly smart and have never sought praise for your accomplishments, and a part of you enjoys the secrecy. You focus on your job as well as practical skills – both logic and handiness. Once you’ve mastered your career and even been to outer space, you feel there’s something missing – and, leaving the coven stuff more to your spouse, you find it in nature. You visit Granite Falls and fall in love. This is everything you’ve needed. Your spouse and family are important to you, but you find it equally important to just be with nature. After spending more and more time in Granite Falls, you eventually realise what it is that you want – to just step back from the coven. It’s your parents’ legacy and you’re proud to uphold it – but your eldest child is ready now. You move away to a small and cosy yet, of course, gothic house in a nice, wooded area with your spouse, and settle down into a quiet life with the one you love – although, of course, you’ll still visit your family.
Gen Three Aspirations: Friend of the animals, Freelance botanist, Traits: Perfectionist, good, hot-headed Career: Veterinarian
To do: -Marry another sim from the coven -Have two or more children -Complete the three aspirations -Master the wellness and gardening skills -Always have two or more pets
Story: You’ve always made it your goal to do everything you do to the best of your ability. You want a great life, a great spouse, great kids and pets… you just want it all. You love animals and you love helping people, so you open up your own (naturally, vampire-themed) vet clinic as soon as you are able. As much as you have positive intentions, though, you still have issues with anger – and that just won’t do. You throw yourself into wellness and try to centre yourself as much as you can – and, naturally, you succeed. Your anger still bubbles up to the surface, but you know how to deal with it. In order to aid this, you remember how your parent used nature to ground themself, so you start to focus more on your gardening and find that you enjoy it. Once you’re content that your garden is everything you want it to be, you find a new focus – writing. Initially, you were just writing books for your kids and the coven’s children, just novelty little books about vampires – but then you really got into it and before you know it, you’re writing full novels of all different genres, self-help books about wellness and gardening, records of your coven’s vampires… you become a bestselling author, and eventually decide that you want to focus more on being with your spouse as well as your writing and your career – and on top of running the coven, that’s a little much. You move away to somewhere nearer your vet clinic, and you leave the role of coven leader to your eldest child who you more than trust (perhaps wrongly) to handle it. They may have a lot going on, but you trust that they’ll find a way to work through it. Your other child/ren will be able to support them, at least.
Gen Four Aspirations: Hope vs. Order (Enforcer of order), Public Enemy, Galactic privateer Traits: Perfectionist, paranoid, evil Career: Criminal
To do: -Marry someone from Batuu (after turning them into a vampire) -Master the robotics skill and build a servo -Have one or more children -Complete your three aspirations
Story: You are… an interesting sim. You take care of the coven, sure, but you also believe that when it’s as advanced as this… it kind of runs itself. You’re a perfectionist as well, but in a very different sense than your parent. You don’t trust anyone, and you’re always afraid of people stealing the coven’s power. You’ve never really cared about mortals, and you find it fun to mess with them sometimes. As a young adult, you run away to Batuu and join the First Order – just to stir things up. You live out your life, marry someone from there and work your way slowly up to the top – although, of course, you go back to visit the coven sometimes and check everything’s okay. You trust your sibling/s to handle it – they’re someone you do trust. Once you’ve reached the very top of the First Order, you disappear back home. You’re there for the coven – but you also focus on the criminal career. Your family run the world – but you want to run the underworld as well. You make a lot of enemies and even kill one of them – it wasn’t fun any more, they were just annoying – and life becomes true chaos and you love it. You also start to get into robotics, which you enjoy a lot, and you build a robot to help you with your crime and mischief. Once you’re content that the criminal world is yours and you’re the king/queen of thieves and liars, you return to Batuu – you’ve missed it there – but this time, you join the scoundrels. You find that they’re a lot of fun, so you use your wit and your silver tongue to reach the very top before returning home to your eldest child who’s frowning. They tell you that they haven’t been taking adequate care of the coven and they think you should leave them in charge. You’re more than happy to relinquish the responsibility, so you move away to a villainous lair somewhere and leave your child in charge. Your spouse understands you, even if no one else does.
Gen Five Aspirations: Mansion Baron, Fabulously wealthy, Computer whiz Traits: Squeamish, materialistic, bro Career: Interior designer, Tech guru
To do: -Master the video gaming and fitness skills -Marry a famous athlete (after turning them into a vampire) -Master the interior decorator and tech guru careers -Have other coven members over to watch sports at least once a week -Have two or three children
Story: The coven isn’t as in pieces as one might imagine – you and your aunt/s and/or uncle/s did a pretty good job of doing it while your parent was off in Batuu or being a criminal, so you are more than prepared to run it yourself. You love the gothic style, and you love interior design. You’ll confess that may be a bit materialistic, and if you’re honest, the plasma does gross you out a bit so you prefer to drink from plasma fruit where possible. You stick to the rules with your interior decorating, although you like to put your own gothic twist on it where you can. You also do up your own house and make sure it’s definitely up to your standards. You also love sports, so you frequently work out in the home gym that you installed, and you love to have other members of the coven over to watch the games on telly. When you’re out one day, you can hardly believe it when you meet one of your favourite athletes. Not only that – they seem to like you! You start dating, turn them into a vampire, have a big fancy wedding and start a family together. Once you’re well and truly rolling in it, you discover another passion that you have – video gaming! You add a gaming room to your vampire mansion, and you leave interior design behind to become a gamer. When you eventually decide that it’s time for you to retire, you purchase a lavish house somewhere dramatic – with all the same amenities as your old place and more, of course – and you move away with your spouse, leaving the role of coven leader to your eldest child.
Gen Six Aspirations: Lord/Lady of the knits, Master maker, Party animal Traits: Dog lover, maker, childish Career: Civil designer, freelance crafter
To do: -Marry someone you met at your great-grandparent’s vet (again, turn them if they aren’t already a vampire) -Always have at least one dog from when you become a child -Complete your three aspirations -Have at least four children -Visit every household in the coven at least once
Story: You have a child-like innocence and care passionately about making the world a better place. You loved to visit your great-grandparent at their vet as a child, and you’ve always especially loved the dogs. You focus on innovation to help the environment once you’re old enough to work, and you always look on the bright side. You also support your work with selling some of your knitting on Plopsy – you’ve loved knitting since you were a child. As a young adult, you meet the love of your life at your great-grandparent’s vet and fall in love very quickly. You marry quite young and start a family – a big family. Your spouse is very outgoing and helps you to let loose a bit whenever work stresses you out. Once you feel you’ve done a substantial amount to help the environment with your work and your knitting is getting successful, you decide to cut back a bit and try freelance crafting alongside your knitting – and this goes very well. You’re very happy with your fabrication and your knitting, and you feel like life is good. The coven is still running smoothly as well – once you no longer work full-time, you have more time to spend with your family as well as the coven. As you get older, you find that you really enjoy the social aspect of running the coven, so you start to host frequent parties for the coven. You make sure nobody feels left out, and you’re a real nurturing presence for the coven. Some of the younger members are surprised that such a powerful vampire can be so sweet and caring. When you finally retire to a nice – yet still gothic, that part of your family is as immortal as all its members – home in Brindleton Bay, the coven are sad to see you go but hopeful for the future under the reign of your eldest child.
Gen Seven Aspirations: Jungle Explorer, Archaeological scholar, musical genius Traits: Clumsy, hot-headed, cat lover Career: Manual labourer, entertainer (musician)
To do: -Master Selvadoradian culture, piano and pipe organ skills -Own a piano, a pipe organ and a keyboard -Always have at least one cat -Have at least two children -Complete your three aspirations -Master the musician career
Story: While your parent loves dogs, you are all about the cats. You are not physically gifted and have quite a short temper, but you’re determined to be a good leader of your coven and you’re very protective – enemies of the coven are treated very harshly under your reign. As a young adult, just when your parent is thinking about retiring, you decide to take a trip to the jungle to mentally prepare yourself for stepping up as the leader. There, you discover a real fascination for the culture and the music, and you meet your Selvadoradian sweetheart. You turn them into a vampire so you can live together forever and have a beautiful jungle-themed wedding. Once you’re married, you visit Selvadorada with your spouse as often as you are able and discover new things about it every time. While your kids are growing up, you only ever work part-time so that you can be there for them as well as running the coven and visiting Selvadorada. You become more preoccupied with studying the ancient past – you’ll always be there for the future, but the past from before the coven was founded is something you know little about and are eager to learn more. You love archaeology, and you also love music – once your children are a little more grown-up, you start to pursue your passion for music as well. You learn the piano and the pipe organ, and your music is soon ready to take you all over the world – that’s when you make the decision to retire and leave the coven to your eldest child. You had a good run, and you can’t wait for what retirement will bring for you and your spouse.
Gen Eight Aspirations: Academic, Beach Life, Leader of the pack Traits: Jealous, outgoing, child of the islands Career: Fisherman
To do: -Master fishing and fitness skills -Marry someone you meet at uni -Complete all three aspirations -Have one or more children
Story: The coven is practically ancient by this point, and doesn’t need an active a leader. You’ve always loved to learn and you’re desperate to go to university, so you think… ‘why not? Why shouldn’t I?’ You move out for a short while and have a wonderful time at university while running the coven from afar. One of your siblings in Forgotten Hollow helps out with running it while you’re away, and you promise to come back as soon as you’re finished with your degree. You don’t quite stick to it, but your coven agree once you’ve graduated that you deserve a holiday. You go on a week-long holiday to Sulani and fall in love with the islands. You and your university boy/girlfriend have a wedding there, and you promise yourself it won’t be the last time you visit. Of course, once the holiday is over, you obediently return to Fledermaus Bend, and you spend some time with your coven. You never forget what you learnt in Sulani, though. You host a kava party for the coven, and you continue to fish. You also go frequently to the swimming pool so that you can swim. You’re a natural leader, and you’ve always been good at getting what you want. You can get a little jealous – especially seeing as you struggle with being a vampire and watching mortals come and go – but when that envy comes to relationships, you promise your partner that you’re working on it. You start a few clubs where you can do the things you’re passionate about, and you eventually grow to be comfortable in your vampiric skin. Your coven love you even though you’ve been absent a lot during your reign, and they’ll miss you once you retire to a home in Sulani – the place that has called to you since you first visited.
Gen Nine Aspirations: Serial romantic, Painter extraordinaire, Joke star Traits: Child of the islands, adventurous, cheerful Career: Social media, entertainer (comedian)
To do: -Master the singing skill -Go to the karaoke bar at least once a week -Visit Gen One at least once a season -Have three or more children -Complete all three aspirations -Master the social media and comedian careers
Story: Your parents took you to visit Sulani a lot as a child so you do feel connected to the islands and you love a good adventure – but you’re more comfortable in your own skin. You love being a vampire, and you take full advantage of the fact that you’re immortal and mortals… aren’t. You’re very charismatic and love to sing, and you’re always visiting the big city for karaoke nights, which you post about on social media. You get on very well with the coven’s founder, and they’ve taught you a lot about how to succeed on social media – being a global superstar, they know all about that. You have relationship after relationship… until, eventually, you fall hard. You meet another vampire, a kind and creative artist who takes your breath away. For them, it’s worth leaving your serial heartbreaker reputation behind and before long, you’re happily married. They get you into art as well, and before long, you’re well on your way to having a successful art career alongside them. They always look on the bright side just as you do, and you’re a perfect match. Once your painting career is everything you want it to be, you find a new passion – comedy! You’ve always had a way with words, and you enjoy nothing more than using them to make people laugh. You’re happy, and life is just how you want it to be. When you retire, you move to a house in Sulani near your parents, and you feel more than ready to pass on the mantle to your eldest child.
Gen Ten Aspirations: Extreme sports enthusiast, bodybuilder, friend of the world Traits: Bro, loves outdoors, gloomy Career: Stylist
To do: -Complete all three aspirations -Master fitness, skiing, snowboarding and rock-climbing skills -Marry someone you meet at a Snowy Escape festival -Have at least one child
Story: You love sports and hanging out with your friends, but immortal life… it’s hard. As a younger vampire, you have a great time. You have a successful career as a stylist, and life seems great. With your sunlight immunity, you’re able to spend time in the outdoors. You visit the snowy mountains, you fall in love with someone you meet at a Mt. Komorebi festival… and they’ll never leave you, at least. You love the mountains and you love being outside… but as the mortals you knew grow old and die, you start to withdraw. You don’t visit the mountains as much. You introduce yourself to all the members of the coven you don’t know – for it has many branches now, it’s everywhere and it’s impossible for you to have met everyone in person – and you try to focus on being friends with everyone in your coven. Your coven is what you’re destined for. You can’t help but wonder, though… is vampire life really it for you? OPTION ONE: Continue the story! Gen Ten finds a renewed passion for life in the coven, and their children continue to run it! Choose more stories and more aspirations – use your imagination! OPTION TWO: This is the final generation. Gen Ten seeks out the cure and cures their family of vampirism. They grow old and pass on in peace. The coven is too powerful to die out now, but the main story of the great leaders will end here.

Hi Simmers! This is my second legacy challenge called the Sims Townie Legacy Challenge
The 25th anniversary of the Sims series and the re-release of the Sims and Sims 2 inspired me to create this legacy. Throughout the years the iconic townies and family's lore has made the game so special. With so many timelines for characters such as Bella Goth or the Landgraabs I combined all versions of these Townies for each generation, as well as added some fan favorites from the Sims 3 & 4. Use hashtag #STLC or #SimsTownieLegacy if you decide to play! Happy Simming :)
See my current progress of the legacy here
I made a little edit to generation 4 - pollination technician #9. I felt like I didn’t add as much goals as I should!! But anyways carry on lol

A New Sims 4 Lepacy Challenge
“I’ve often found myself buying packs and not exploring them fully or not playing them after my initial playthrough!”
“I haven’t even thought about XYZ pack in years!”
“I’m bored!!”
Any of these testimonials sound like you? They sound like me too! The Sims 4 has been out for over 10 years and at the time of writing has over 70 DLC packs with 17 expansions and 12 game packs (may the concept rest in peace) and I have spent far too long forgetting some of my favorite features. SO I have decided to write a Lepacy Challenge based on each of the Expansion and Game packs! (Except Batuu obviously)
Currently, I have written up to Life and Death (which is the most recent pack at the time of updating this) for a total of 29 generations! When new packs come out I will do my best to update quickly. I have outlined a basic story to connect the generations but obviously, you don’t have to follow it, do what's fun for you! For a slightly abridged legacy, you can play without the GP generations.
More Info and Rules Under The Cut!!
Every generation has a set of basic rules and an additional set of just for fun rules. While the basic rules must be completed every generation, just for fun rules are there for extra challenges, tasks, storytelling bits, or cross-pack challenges. There are also some general rules for the overall lepacy. If you have any questions or suggestions please let me know!
Please be aware that I am currently playing through this challenge for the first time on my YouTube channel and as a result, rules may be updated/changed/added to better reflect their generation’s pack features!!! If This Happens I will add a note about it!!
Now Onto The Main Attraction

V:tM Plasma-lines Challenge
Not a traditional legacy... not a legacy at all, actually! This as close of an approximation to the actual TTRPG and its mechanics that i can muster. 14 Clans with 2-3 bloodline variants each, Merits and Flaws, XP gaining, dice rolling and the possibility of death!
Tumblr media
Find it here! Recommend @losieee's VTMB Builds and Fledgling Gshade Preset, and @anxiousmoodlet's VTM Legacy as a companion to this one <3
If you play this, tag with "'ts4-vtmp" so i can see it <3

casual gameplay left up to chance!
do you, like me, find yourself playing in the same worlds over and over? playing the same careers? do you want to get out of your comfort zone? then try the dice roll challenge!
the rules? there are none, technically. all you need is a handful of dice (and what better excuse to buy some pretty dice? but google will do too) and a willingness not to micromanage.
i'm sure this isn't the first challenge of its kind, but it's what i've been doing in my spare time when i want a break from more rigid challenges (and if you like those kinds of challenges, my other two challenges are linked on my blog <3)
another important thing about this challenge is that you can customise it to your liking. these options are based off of the worlds and careers that i personally have in my game, and will become outdated as new packs are released. there are more than 20 worlds and careers, so i unfortunately can't fit them all, but if you want to swap things out, the world is your oyster!
worlds (d20):
Willow Creek
Oasis Springs
Newcrest
Windenburg
San Myshuno
Brindleton Bay
Del Sol Valley
Strangerville
Sulani
Britechester
Evergreen Harbor
Mount Komorebi
Henford-on-Bagley
Tartosa
Tomarang
Copperdale
San Sequoia
Chestnut Ridge
Ciudad Enamorada
Nordhaven
careers (d20):
Actor

Business
Conservationist
Criminal
Critic
Culinary
Doctor
Education
Engineer
Entertainer
Freelancer

aspirations (d12)
(for this section, only the category is listed. you can pick the exact aspiration you want within that, or leave it up to chance too!)
Animal
Athletic
Creativity
Deviance
Family
Culinary
Fortune
Knowledge
Love
Nature
Popularity
Wellness
colours (d10)
Blue
Orange
Red
White
Black
Purple
Teal
Green
Pink
Brown
number of children (d4)
you could also use a d6 to have up to 6 children!
One
Two
Three
Four
additional obstacles:
Let the game randomise the name of your founder and all children born into the family. Their partner (if they have one) can be whoever you want
Use randomised traits in CAS
Having trouble making a yes or no choice? Roll a d4 and use 1-2 as yes and 3-4 for no

Sims Princess Legacy ~
Rules: - Have fun! - Change the goals and skills to suit you and your game! - Go in whatever order you'd like! - Updated for packs out in March 2024
Snapshot of 8 more gens under the cut ~ *Rules focus on very loose gameplay style and draw inspiration from the princess tales. They are not exact copies and a lot of the movie plot points to do not transfer over to the sims. If you want to play more faithfully to the movie adaptions, please feel free to disregard any rules you do not like/have packs for. *A lot of gens have similar rules/skills they follow. Feel free to skip around to gens you are more interested in playing *Check back as rules are constantly being updated as I play through the challenge myself
