Bachelor Pt. 4

Welcome to the fourth week of The Bachelor Challenge. We shall head straight into the first competition where once again the contestants were tested on their talent with a needle.

This round Mystic was a noncombatant as she had already won three competitions and had unlimited access to the bachelor. For this competition, the winner came down to who lasted the longest so being a slacker like Dove was was not necessarily a bad thing this time around.

But you did in fact need to be working and as usual, he was not. The extremely diligent Yvette ended up with the strongest cross-stitch willpower. Eeyore and Sooty were next and they each received 5 points with Gentle Dove taking up the rear with 3 points. Yvette and Onyx headed out to a local diner in the Oasis where the fun didn't really begin until they headed back out.

This time it was Yvette who had to decide to seize the day and not leave it up to Onyx.

With the final and pivotal week 5 quickly approaching and no more dates available Onyx decided to take it upon himself to get to know Gentle Dove as he has always regretted not getting to know some of the previous members of the household.

But this was Onyx, hardly a healthy getting-to-know-you type conversation.

By this time Mystic was bringing the third Landgraab child into the house.

While Yvette discovered she was bringing her own Landgraab into the world as well.

This is a perfectly safe atmosphere for children to grow up in.

Completely and utterly safe to bring all these young sims into the world.

Because our bachelor is such a loving sim.

Leaving no experience undone.

Everyone is going to be alright. King is headed to the main house.

While Eeyore's child Alice has left the crib.

The adults meanwhile attend their final competition. This time they are sent to play darts.

In the initial games, Eeyore beat Yvette 7-4 and Sooty beat Gentle Dove 7-4.

In the final rounds, it came down to Gentle Dove in last receiving -5 points. Yvette 3rd and 3 points. Sooty 2nd receiving 5 and the winner Eeyore. He received 10 points and with his third win a room in the mansion.

This is when the winner of immunity was revealed to be Sooty having created the most items to be sold.

She didn't receive her rose too soon as she then set her room on fire.

Luckily for her however Yvette is still quick with a fire hydrant despite being heavily pregnant.

Despite all the chaos surrounding the adults in the house the kids, continue to grow.

Hatter And develop.

Hopefully on the right lines.

1. What’s my favorite color? Gray. Grey? (Who am I kidding English isn’t my native language). I’m boring like that I guess. 

2. Song currently stuck in my head? Honestly, anything Hadestown or Great Comet related (or Grace McLean because she is the love of my life), however on a different note the song ‘The Rock’ by Harry Chapin is a masterpiece.

3. Most recent thing I’ve bought? Takeout for my brother, he is a 17 y/o moron but what’s new.

4. Zodiac sign? The Eeyore of signs: Capricorn. (A proud one at that so shh)

5. Place I hope to visit someday? Iceland, Norway, South Africa, Russia, USA, Scotland and Ireland just to name a few.

6. Looking forward to? Graduating, graduating and graduating. Have I mentioned how thrilled I am to be getting the hell out? (Also if I manage to get into med school that would be great)

7. Fears? Anything and everything? Like, is that even possible? I am so terrified of the future. I know what I want and what to do with my life but getting there just scares the living hell out of me.

8. Anxieties? Again, the phrase opening the umbrella before seeing the storm is relevant in this scenario. I stress about how stressed I am going to be when I don’t have things to stress about which is not very often might I add.

9. Working on anything? Fanfiction-wise? No. Academic work? You have no idea. I do the IB: I am practically a masochist.

10. Favorite holiday? I don’t live in a Christian country so our holidays are vastly different but I guess the concept of New Year is neutral and I love it.

11. Hours of sleep? Again, refer to question 9; I don’t sleep. I am the most sleepy person I know though so, I could sleep on hours at an end if given the chance.

12. Favorite tv shows?  this one’s extremely difficult and I will forget some: black mirror, friends, killing eve, penny dreadful, the marvelous mrsmaisel and vikings are some of many.

13. Computer Games? (I swear I am a normal human being and not a sociopath) Sims 4

14. Lock Screen? Okay so for the longest time it used to be these amazing street photos I took while visiting amsterdam but recently I found some amazing ghost quartet art and I couldn’t resist so my lockscreen on my phone is the lyrics “oh the dreadful wind and rain” and my computer background is an amazing illustration of the entire musical plot.

15. Snow? I was born in December, I physically cannot not love and adore snow.

16. Strange clothing items? okay so this is going to sound very odd but I love scarves more than anything in the world, adore crazy striped pants and cannot live without wild patterned shoes. Like seriously I have Vans with Winnie The Pooh images on and I’m expected to be an adult in a few weeks.

The Eeyore Household: As told by the Sims 4*

*Aka as accurate as one can be in the sims, but we all know how these things get away from us. 

The Eeyore house, located in Tortuga Place is a two bedroom, three bathroom family home, with a moderate backyard (lbr it’s way smaller than portrayed, but you know). On the first floor, there is a small den entrance that leads directly to the stairs - with the living room on the left, and the kitchen/dining room on the right. The breezeway located behind the stairs leads to the backyard as well as the half-bath and the laundry room. 

Upstairs is a small hallway (littered with plants, I assure you) that leads to Alex & Aubrey’s bedroom on the left & their master bathroom. To the right is Greg’s room and his bathroom. Gregory’s room is... very much so this cluttered and chaotic and probably more so IRL. Though the pictures are NOT just people and are likely his own taken of Swynlake locations & animals. Greg’s favorite part of his room is his accent wall by his window which has forest-like wallpaper that makes him feel surrounded by nature. He even has a lil bed for his ratties on the windowsill as well as toys, a treat dish and plants. His rat cage is only accurate in location, as it’s likely far larger - and this goes for the fish tank as well. (He’s not a monster that keeps fish in bowls, I promise). Also, yes he has plants everywhere as well as stuffed animals crammed in various locations bc he is a soft boi.

Their backyard has a few pieces of patio furniture on the deck for lounging as well as an enclosed garden where they grow their own food during the summer. Around the back of their house they have a compost and firewood storage. Ofc they have a grill for summer get-togethers as well as a patio table. There’s also a laundry line because Aubrey likes to save energy + hang her laundry on nice spring, summer and fall days. There’s a tall weeping tree in their backyard which Greg has claimed as his own little nook - usually littered with his school stuff when he wants to go outside to study. They also have a little overgrown well, and a firepit in the back edge of their yard.

The Dinner Party

You’re having a dinner party and must invite 5 sims made by other simmers to dine with you.  Who do you choose and why? Then tag any 5 simmers to do the same!

1. Nirs ( @soloriya ) Nirs would be fantastic to have at a party because no matter what sort of wild crap went off, he would be totally calm through it all. I mean that. You could set fire to the table and Nirs would as you to pass the potatoes before they burned.

2. Iris Nolan ( @digital-deluxe ). I like gutsy ladies and Iris Nolan certainly fits that bill! She’s highly intelligent and would probably have all sorts of insightful things to say.

3. Araceli Salcedo ( @igglemouse), Another gutsy lady in her own way. Well, she’s about as deep as a puddle at times, but she’s highly entertaining! She’d probably be the one setting the table on fire.

4. Faelern ( @eslanes )  - Every party needs an Eeyore to sit in the corner and be miserable. I’d get Faelern over and drink him under the table just to see what sort of crazy came out of him.

5. Johnny Zest ( @simmerberlin ) Straight up, Johnny is great the way Simmerberlin writes him. I find him funny, poignant and somehow interesting. I just like him. It’s my party, I can invite who I like. I’d also make him bring the wine.
