Historic cottage

I have built a romantic cottage with a master bedroom and a children's room to coincide with Easter. Subtle Easter decorations round off the house, but I have held back so that you can enjoy the house even after Easter. There are two living areas, a conservatory, a spacious kitchen, as well as an office area and a flourishing garden with chicken coop.

I love the exterior of this house so much that the inside became a perpetual wip (cause nothing is satisfying enough). Maybe I'll post the inside (once I eventually finish it). But for now, here's the outside + greenhouse pictures!

I have searched many times for in-depth farming legacy challenge, and while there are some, I want a legacy on the farm that won’t make millions of simoleons in one generation! In honor of the upcoming horse ranch pack as well, I decided to create this Sims 3 inspired challenge for the Sims 4!

Landwood Farm

Don't let this plot of lively land fool you. It was once abandoned and left to rot after the family that once inhabited it moved to the big city. After coming upon it during a walk, a young couple decided that this almost dead house was their new project. A few years later, and lots of gardening, the once dead house transformed into this farm utopia. The young couple now lives in the one-bedroom and bathroom house, with a small kitchen and a spacey living room for dancing the night away.

Christmas Farm

The Christmas farm has two bedrooms, a children's room and a parents' bedroom. There is a hobby room, a small office and a laundry room. Adjacent to the house is the stable. From there a ladder leads up to the attic, with a small home theater and a easel. I've modified the chicken coop a bit, you can't see it anymore because I made it smaller with the TOOL mod. You can find the coop in a basket. From there you can interact with the chicken coop as usual.  In addition to small beds, the famr also offers enough space for goats, cows and a horse. There is also a separate barn where the tractor and hay are stored.

You'll have to decorate this one. I opened my game to do a speed build and I ended up with a major case of indecision so there's no speed build.

Still -- I liked the structure on the outside and thought... this is probably the most normal Sims house I ever made in the game and decided to stick with it. It's just the shell though!
