Epilogue

So I came up with this new sims legacy challenge, i call it Wild apple tree. It consists of 10 generation and each gen has specifics to complete before moving forward. I haven't come up with the storyline between each generation just yet but other then that I think it's done. I feel i might have gotten a bit carried away and if i add more to each generation it might be a little to much but at the same time I feel it has room for improvement and new ideas so if anyone have any input please feel free to comment and let me know what you think.

Wild apple tree sims legacy challenge

Basic Rules

- Each generation must have an apple tree. It may be the founders tree and gets carried thru each generation or it can be a new tree but the new tree must grow from an apple off the last generations tree.

- Heir for each generation can be either gender unless stated other wise

- No money Cheats (optional)

- Color for each generation is optional

- May live where ever you choose unless location is specified.

- Each generation needs to complete their aspiration(all aspirations are whatever you choose)

- Must have the Career that is listed for each generation

Be raised by a sim that is not your surviving parent. You are not allowed to interact with your original parent until you become a Young Adult.

Reach level 3 in the Criminal career, and then max out the Detective career

Own at least one barn and one chicken coop

Have at least one child

Optional: Have your child through the Wishing Well

Generation 5: Halsin

Become a Master Llamacorn Scout

Complete the Serial Romantic aspiration

Seduce 10 sims and lure them to Straud’s mansion, turning at least 5 of them into vampires. You can only control Straud to turn sims; otherwise, you must primarily control Astarion. You cannot have a job and can only leave the mansion to pursue victims as long as Straud lives.

Be turned into a vampire by Straud as a Young Adult and move into his household

Make at least 3 friends

Kill Straud in your lifetime and take over his mansion

Hi, could you share which ROS events you use please 😀

I know I'd shared these a couple times before, but I scrolled back a bit and it's definitely changed a lot since the last time, which was August 2022! Back then I had 48 on the list, now it's up to 70.

Putting more info and the full list behind a cut to save your dash!

I just keep all my gameplay notes and stuff on my ipad, easiest for me. I don't use an ROS program or anything so there's no weighting, no major or minor scenarios etc. I just use Siri or random.org to pick a number.

The scenarios are a mix of other people's lists I've found, plus ones I've made up myself. It's pretty nice to my Sims so there aren't any death or divorce ones or anything lol. I've removed some I used to use as my gameplay has evolved, if they no longer fit.

Day out - all eligible Sims go to a community lot

Movie night - invite friends over for a movie and snacks

Picnic - make food and go to a park for a picnic

Family reunion - invite over any known family members

Blind date - call matchmaker for a single Sim

New outfit - your Sim wants a new outfit, go shopping

Games night - no homework for kids, play games all night

Large pet adoption - get a cat or a dog, Roll dice to choose

Small pet adoption - a small caged animal will join the family (including rabbits)

Grouchy - your Sim picks d4 arguments with another

Vacation time - spend a couple nights away at a vacation destination (or more!)

Fitness regime - your Sim wants to work out, get fit and eat healthy

Rebellious - child or teen skips school and doesn’t do homework for 1 to 3 days, sneaks out, bad interactions

Date night - take a Sim couple out on a date

It’s a phase - a child will only wear a costume for 1 to 3 days, teens get a piercing or drastically change appearance

Brace face - child or teen Sim must get braces for the round

Slumber Party - teen or child invites friends over for a sleepover

Cool Parent - try to befriend d2 of your kid’s friends

Playing Matchmaker - influence a friend to flirt with someone else

ISBI light - pick a Sim and control only them for 3 days

Creature of the Night - become a vampire for the round

Unexpected Tax Bill - lose d20-40% of your family funds to unpaid back taxes

Power outage - d2 days with no power (only make uncooked meals)

Family Heirlooms - inherit d3 family heirlooms from a distant relative; use kaching and purchase items of around $1000 each

Infertility - your Sim is sadly no longer able to have children!

Orphan relation - a close relation has died, leaving their child orphaned! As the closest living relative, you are now the legal guardian. Move in a toddler or child (d2). Receive $5000 from the government for your generosity to help raise the little tyke.

Rocky relationship - couple argues at least 2 times a day in the round

Great aunt/uncle in town - create an elderly Sim to come stay for the round - after they become a townie if desired

Bylaw fine - your Sim put the trash out to the curb too early and have received a bylaw fine - d6 x $100

Start a club! Find up to 3 Sims who share your hobby, and get to know them better. If you can participate in your chosen hobby together, even better!

Money tree! Your Sim finds a mysterious tree in a pot by their front door. The note on it says to use it wisely because it will only be around for a short time? Buy a money tree and keep for one rotation

Resurrect old friendships - call and invite over the friend your Sim has lost touch with the most (lowest relationship score while still being friends)

Customer appreciation day - to thank your loyal customers for their patronage, mark down the prices at your shop for a day and provide treats for your customers

Ambrosia - take a sip from the elixir of life (Roll to choose between adults or elders in the household)

Mate like rabbits - risky woohoo d5 times in the next 48 hours, hope there aren’t any unintended consequences!

Unexpected vet bill! Your little companion swallowed something they shouldn’t have and the bill comes to $5000! If you don’t have enough money, you might have to take out a loan.

Woohoo scavenger hunt - must woohoo on/in four different possible locations this round (bed, couch, car, photobooth, hot tub, changing booth, elevator)

Hey, everyone! I completed the Lepacy Challenge recently, but I love my family so much and I want to keep playing with them. That's why I made this challenge! The original website to this mod and the link to download has been taken down but I did some digging because I really want to try this mod out. I found adeepindigo's website about the preteen mod and seen that the mod had been adopted from the original creator.

Creator's notes-

"Welcome to being a pre-teen! For the next couple of years you're going to be experiencing some changes. Don't worry, it's completely natural, you'll do just fine!"

Now introducing my Sims 4 preteen mod! First of all the teens in this game look too grown. Sims go from a little kid to looking like they pay taxes. So that's why I created this mod to give us a good in-between phase.

How does it work?

When a child ages up into a teenager they get the pre-teen trait. They are automatically enrolled in middle school and are automatically made shorter than adults. Pre-teens go through phases more often than children & teens and the phases happen pretty quickly. They can also experience voice cracks.

Simple Hygiene System

I added a basic hygiene system to the game which is available to all sims. If you click on your sim you will have the option to apply lotion, body spray, and deodorant. Use the lotion after your sim gets out of the shower or they will have dry skin. The bodyspray gives your sims a confidence boost, but watch out, if you spray too much they get dizzy. The deodorant slows down hygiene decay and gets your sim smelling nice and fresh.

Middle School/Junior High School

There are now two versions of the mod. The Middle School versions allows for Preteeens to be younger and attend Middle School. The Junior High School version allows for Preteens to attend a new branch of High School, Junior High School. Junior High allows Preteens to attend active school with High School teens if HSY is installed. Otherwise, they attend the HS rabbithole.

The middle school acts exactly like the grade school & high school that's in the game. In the school-focused pack for this mod, I'll be adding some cool features for middle school, but for now, it's pretty basic. Middle schoolers do get their own homework book so make sure you use that. Junior High School functions exactly like High School.

Why doesn't the teen I made in CAS have the pre-teen trait?

A sim will only get the pre-teen trait if they age up in the game from a child to a teen. If you make a teen in CAS they are going to be a teen when the save starts. If you want to turn the teen into a preteen click on the teen and find the "preteen" pie menu. In this menu, you'll have the option to add the pre-teen trait, which removes them from high school & enrolls them in middle school. It also will automatically change their height.

Will the teens already in my save turn into pre-teens??

No, but if you want to turn them into a pre-teen you can use the interaction in the "preteen" pie menu on your teen to turn them into a pre-teen.

I don't want this sim to be a pre-teen!!

Okay cool, just go to the "pre-teen" pie menu on your pre-teen and choose the option to remove the pre-teen trait. This will change their height back to the default and enroll them in middle school.

Why can't my pre-teen be romantic?

I disabled the romance menu for pre-teens. I plan on making my own romance options in the next pack for this mod, so please be patient.
