I always start feeling a little beachy at this point in the winter, so here are some Animal Crossing conversions with a vacation / travel sort of theme. Some meshes edited, with extra swatches added. I hope you like them!

The Furniture Showroom (CC Pack for The Sims 4)

Over the last few months I have seen some pieces of furniture that I wanted to make but that didn't fit well in any of my previews cc pack ideas. I saved them for a while and I finally found a very cool idea where they all can live together: A Furniture Showroom.

And of course, I always have wanted to recreate the ICONIC Heart-shaped Bed and Hot Tub from The Sims 1 and well, since this is the cc pack of February, I thought it would be appropriate for Valentine's Day.

Along the kinky bedroom and the motel style patio, I created 4 more mini collections that you can use to decorate your Sims houses: a bathroom, a sunroom space, an eclectic reading area and a mini study room.

WooHoo Collection, the bed is inspired in the real life Heart-shaped Bed from the "Pass the Spark" MV featuring Anitta. 

Niagara collection. Inspired by the ICONIC Niagara Love Tub from The Sims: Hot Date.

Eccentric and Bogat collection.

Guan and Puzzlion collection.

WINDENBURG 2024 ... A HUGE REDUX & UPDATE :)

Here we are ... After 2 weeks of intensive work :D comes the release of Windenburg 2024, 4 years after the first update and 8 years after the first release ... A long time due bold update where we tried to enhance one of the most iconic sims 4 World ...

We made a lot of work on urban stuff ( mainly ) and tried to enhance everything we could, except the ruins which are a work apart ;)

We enhanced the grounds ( streets, pavements ), the walls, some colors of the soils, the rocks, the textures, and even the fake buildings and houses :D

We made too some modifications such as the kakemono ( we made newer simlish pictures ), the streetlights ( we removed the stupid little posters in order to get cooler street lamps ), we added some textures to the plastic/glossy sculptures, we corrected basic textures we didn't make last time, we made an overhaul brighter aspect, we worked on many details all around when it was possible ...

Even where the textures were already ok, we revised the whole stuff ... Well you'll see ;)

We divided this Windenburg ( Get Together ) update in 5 files :

Bird of Paradise, Polyp, Victorian Flower Urn, Cantankerous Bowel Fish and You Had Me at What's Up Painting Converted From The Sims 2 Console for The Sims 2, Sims 3 and The Sims 4

I did this with Strangetown, so here's some conversions from Pleasantview! These objects can be seen in The Sims 2 console locations; Bio Dome, Rockwell Acres, HMS Amore, Andromeda Arms, Jugen House and the Newbie's household. All but both plants were done live on my twitch. I am using the Xbox textures, but I noticed there was a color difference between games for both plants. I checked out the PS2 texture and wow... the quality is night and day lol. There's a comparison photo of the Victorian Flower Urn in each game above if you're curious. I also sized down both plants compared to the original. Info below the cut. Please let me know if there’s any issues!

they're live edit objects, so you need the cheat. you can find them in sculptures. also make sure to download the 10mb one, that's the one that the others texture reference

recoloring objects to match is the bane of my existence (photoshop actions never work for me???), but i will put it on the list <3 they need more colours anyhow, i keep getting frustrated that they don't match

making cc is super intimidating when you first get into it, for sure. i broke a sweat doing my first recolor lol

hi! it's CC - a custom background replacing one of the base game mattes. some of them are city living mattes recolored to be warmer, and others i found on google and edited to be transparent

you lose the magic when you zoom out though lol

i want the TS3 trim so bad in ts4 but i don't know how to make half-wall trim. i got it in S4 Studio but she's a mess in game

hello everyone! today i return with a request from @tete-sims. it is a 4t2 conversion of @irinaseverinka's palmyra kidsroom, found on tsr. there are 12 items in total that you can use to decorate your kids' rooms! 10 furniture items, and 2 wallpapers 💖 i was dumb and forgot to take previews of the wallpapers initially, so the preview included in the download is different. but rest assured, they're still included 😊

like all my previous big sets, this one comes with a readme and collection file for ease of usage. please note that severinka does not allow conversions to another game series.

You may need MoveObjects to place the Double Bed Blanket and Pillows on top of the DoubleBed. The HouseSculpture is actually a 'rug', so your sims can walk into and through it. The High Cupboard and Low Cupboard both have slots for you to place things on! The latter is repositoried to the former and needs it for textures.

Labels are color-coded in Simlish and English to make sorting objects easier: COOK (white label/for cookables, ingredients), DRINK (red label/ for edible beverages), EAT (pink label/for edible foods), GROW (green label/ for harvestables), HEAL (orange label/for functional medicines, motive boosters), CRAFT (brown label/for craftables, ingredients), STOCK (yellow label/for stockable foods, supplies), USE (blue label/for all other functional items), VIEW (gray label/for deco only items), and “other” (black and purple/barcode). Moar Conversions from TS2! (a.k.a. The Long Overdue 600 Followers' Gift..)

Here they are! My gift to celebrate the past-half-a-thousand follower count as promised..(only for the 600th though, stay tuned for the 700th! 👀)

Three decor items and two lamps from the beloved 2nd game of The Sims Series.

Museé Public "Collection Sculpture"

Comes in two versions, with white lillies and red lillies (not shown). Contains ten presets: nine from the TS2 original and one preset for a CAStable version with one channel.

Found in Decor > Plants, costs §200. Polycount: 564 verts/762 faces

"Lie Like a Bear" Rug from Grim's Mountain Outfitters

Credits to @you-lust for this one, as I used their conversion as a base, and put the original textures from TS2. This version is now reduced to only two CAStable channels, as the TS2 textures are used as overlays for the rug part. You may have both files at the same time.

Found in Decor > Rugs, costs §550. Polycount: 66 verts/64 faces

ULDUM Rug

My favorite rug from the IKEA SP. I was aware of these versions (1, 2), but I still miss the original 2x2 size as it was from TS2, so I remade the exact size for my TS3 enjoyment. Non-CAStable, found in Decor > Rugs, costs §363. Need I say anything about poycount? 4 verts/2 faces

Tulip Light from Luxiery

There was a conversion from TheNinthWaveSims floating around some time ago, but the download link seems to be gone and unfortunately no backup link exists (as far as my search skills are concerned 😛). So here's a brand new conversion with three CAStable channels (lamp, lamp base, stand - third channel not shown in the preview sorry about that).

LunaTech "Gaullevanizer" Wall Sconce

This one also comes in two versions, a semi-translucent and an opaque version. Both have two CAStable channels (lamp and screw).

As of 11/02, I’m aware that goldensanctuarysims is doing a remaster of this set, but unfortunately I converted all of this before they even announced that. So, for the time being, I hope you enjoy these! When they release the new versions, I’ll update this set! (The items that already had new versions were converted instead of the old ones)

Known Problems:

The bed’s sheet may be wonky sometimes! Beds’ bone assignment is harddd, and I’m pleased enough with the results! It’s really just every once and a while, trust me!

The ceiling pilaster’s texture is a bit more blurry than the other ones and I’m not sure why, it’s not that bad tho, sorry!

Not exactly a problem, but more of a disclaimer/workaround: As you probably know, wallpapers don’t have the presets system objects have in the game. At least not in the catalog, because they turned into individual wallpapers in it, and kinda creates a mess. So my workaround is, if you don’t want to scroll a lot and want it to be more organized: choose the kind of wallpaper you want (regular one or the one with wainscoting) and choose any of its presets on the catalog. Put it on the wall, and then pick the CASt tool and click on it again. On the little presets window at the top left, you’ll see all of them, now organized! Sorry for the inconvenience, but there’s nothing I can do if I wanted to keep the customization!

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE DOWNLOADING:

Moveobjects on is pretty much mandatory for this set, you’ll need it!

IMPORTANT: Be sure to DISABLE “Enable Object Hiding” on the settings, so that everything shows up, since some items are 2-3 stories tall!

The bed, fireplace, chair, stool, mirror, table, and door are functional!

In this set, there is an item called “King’s Door TOP”. As you’ll notice, the door takes up 1 entire story and a bit of the second story! Basically what this item does (it’s in the windows section) is “delete” this bit of the second story so when your sim opens up the door, it doesn’t clip through the second story! As it suggests, you need to put it above the door, on the second story. with moveobjects on just put it there, and forget about it!

For the France statue (the big statue around the bed) to be on the floor level, you need to place it on the second floor, and grab it all the way up, with the move up and down function!

The chair, the stool, the bed, the fireplace screen, and both portieres have the same 3 presets available: first one is a patterned overlay texture, which is more colorful (purple and red), second one is also patterned but recolorable, and third one is a plain preset so you can put any pattern that you want in them! have fun! 

The ceiling painting has 6 painting options available, with the frame being recolorable as seen in the preview!

The main column is 2 stories tall, and the ceiling column is 1 story tall!

The other paintings (which should go next to the bed) have 2 options available!

The dessus de porte (sculpture above the door) has 4 painting options available, with everything else being recolorable!

The table has 2 cloth options available: first one is an overlay, the red and purple one, and the second one is a plain one for you to put patterns on!

The inkwell has 5 presets: first one is an overlay (beautiful floral pink and white), the second, third and fourth one have overlay details but they’re mainly recolorable, and the last preset is fully recolorable where you can put any patterns you want!

There are 25 wallpaper options for you to choose from, including 1 story tall and 2 story tall (like in the preview), The ones in red purple and gold details are not recolorable, the rest is!

it’s a terrain replacement i made for my save file world! not ready to upload it yet, but here’s a closer look at the texture. i was going for more realistic than EA’s neon green blob but more cartoony/stylised than a high-definition real grass texture

i’ll post it when my save file is complete! i would upload it now, but i can just see myself deciding to change something, and then someone might download it and forget to delete the old one, and then there’s two 20mb duplicate files in someone’s game... i’d rather avoid that (terrain replacements are chonky)

hey, thank you! i use sunblind by softerhaze, it’s absolutely life-saving. i also use a simple reshade preset with mxao, bloom and a bit of a yellow tint

anon, i had this exact thought process when i was starting my save. like, word for word

to answer your question: yes, it’s possible. there’s a tutorial for doing this with a program called ninjaripper that’s pretty straightforward. but to be entirely honest, the process of going through all the extracted meshes (it grabs surrounding world meshes too), then remapping the entire model, was too laborious for me. not to mention it’s difficult to find any sims 4 object that has enough cut numbers for the roof, wall, door, window, stair etc. textures to retain high quality

since houses are just simple shapes, i personally find it a lot easier to make my shell houses in blender (using a debug house as a size reference), slap some TS4 textures on the roof and walls, then add opaque windows. took me a couple of hours to put this one together, which is a lot less time than it takes me to build a real lot in hindsight

@harurish​ hello, and thank you! so many people have done terrain replacements, i just downloaded one of them to find which DST images they were replacing for base game. using the game file cruiser in S4S, i searched the instance numbers, imported them into an empty package, and went from there!

to save you some unnecessary work, here’s the file i made for the bg terrain. i didn’t save it before changing the grass, but as all i did was desaturate the original texture as you saw in the post, it’s still pretty maxis accurate. i didn’t touch the sand/dirt :) all you need to do is import whatever textures you want. might take awhile because there’s a lot of them

not outlandish at all! i’ve never really looked at the mt. komorebi world files (ashamedly, i must admit i have never hiked in game either) and so i’ve honestly no idea. but i wouldn’t rule it out! you should ask a script modder. there’s so many brilliant people in the community, i have no doubt someone can figure it out

EA Announces Two New Kits Coming September 7th

After various leaks these past few days, EA has officially announced two new kits for The Sims 4: Poolside Splash Kit and Modern Luxe Kit.

The first one is for Create a Sim items and, as the name suggests, brings an assortment of clothes in the swimwear category and also accessories that go with them.

As for the second one, Maxis has partnered up with simmer and creator @XureilaYT for items that “celebrate hard work with new elegant furniture that says ‘I made it'”, as they say on social media.
