A New Sims 4 Lepacy Challenge

“I’ve often found myself buying packs and not exploring them fully or not playing them after my initial playthrough!”

“I haven’t even thought about XYZ pack in years!”

“I’m bored!!”

Any of these testimonials sound like you? They sound like me too! The Sims 4 has been out for over 10 years and at the time of writing has over 70 DLC packs with 17 expansions and 12 game packs (may the concept rest in peace) and I have spent far too long forgetting some of my favorite features. SO I have decided to write a Lepacy Challenge based on each of the Expansion and Game packs! (Except Batuu obviously)

Currently, I have written up to Life and Death (which is the most recent pack at the time of updating this) for a total of 29 generations! When new packs come out I will do my best to update quickly. I have outlined a basic story to connect the generations but obviously, you don’t have to follow it, do what's fun for you! For a slightly abridged legacy, you can play without the GP generations.

Every generation has a set of basic rules and an additional set of just for fun rules. While the basic rules must be completed every generation, just for fun rules are there for extra challenges, tasks, storytelling bits, or cross-pack challenges. There are also some general rules for the overall lepacy. If you have any questions or suggestions please let me know!

Please be aware that I am currently playing through this challenge for the first time on my YouTube channel and as a result, rules may be updated/changed/added to better reflect their generation’s pack features!!! If This Happens I will add a note about it!!

Episode 9- Hot and Cold Pt 1

The first date up with Blaze and boy did homeboy mess it up terribly. Out of no where Blaze started being mean to Penny for absolute no reason. Then Penny and him started being mean to one another to the point he had negative romance with her :/ Despite the date being awkward Blaze offered a white flag and they spent the rest of the date stargazing. Which meant they were able to salvage a bit of their romantic relationship. On the other hand, Penny had been so antsy to go on her solo date with Zaddy Darius. Our girl is so DOWN BAD for him. She was flirting with him and feeding him all dinner. They learned a lot about one another like, Darius now understands where Penny's rage/jealousy comes from (she told him about cain/vinny) and she learned a bit about his late wife. Maybe it was the champagne or her horniness but Penny invited Darius into her bedroom and in the middle of the nasty she confessed that she liked him a lot.... she's now so embarrassed and honestly, same girl. @aniraklova @rasoyas

the rules? there are none, technically. all you need is a handful of dice (and what better excuse to buy some pretty dice? but google will do too) and a willingness not to micromanage.

i'm sure this isn't the first challenge of its kind, but it's what i've been doing in my spare time when i want a break from more rigid challenges (and if you like those kinds of challenges, my other two challenges are linked on my blog <3)

another important thing about this challenge is that you can customise it to your liking. these options are based off of the worlds and careers that i personally have in my game, and will become outdated as new packs are released. there are more than 20 worlds and careers, so i unfortunately can't fit them all, but if you want to swap things out, the world is your oyster!

I saw her from the 1st day we meet. She's too friendly and generous to everyone, that make me feel like I want to know her more.. It's getting closer to meet her on our 1st impression day and my heart beat so fast and panicking nearly attack me when she said "Hi to me" 1st lol. I love her simplicity of beauties and that was "my type of partner". We became friends and became more closer. We have a same passion and hobbies too. I ask her, what type of guy she likes. She said, I have everything she wants, but she have to work hard to get what she wants. I laugh.. then I realize that, I have more heart to take care.. So we ignore each other.. by giving others to get closer to me, cause I heard rumor, tell that I'm giving her too much attention. She's seem fine with that but not me.. I keep asking, when will I have a solo date with her again, cause I miss her. I keep giving more challenge week by week, if she can win but no luck for her.. until she and my Friend's horse, Blacky help her won her 1st solo date, even tho she had no experience with handling horse. all the BC crew saw her work hard, event she got prank by blacky, she keep trying and trying until she got what she wants and My wish come true.. We had a blast night together. and I remember, she whisper at me, that she want to do this again, If she had that chance again. Time pass by.. Only her and Olive left.. I admit that I have no feelings to Olive like I have with Ellie. I feel bad that I hurt her feeling. But when I said.."I'm sorry, Olive..I choose Ellie". Olive reaction are just fine and she said that from the 1st day, she know how I feel toward Ellie and vise versa. She's said nothing is more happier seing her bestfriend on the wedding dais with someone she love. Thanks Olive..

Another reason why I choose her.. the way she treat my mum like her's. My mum told me via video call telling me how impress she was and she said she saw a potential in her. Their 1st impression with each other amazed me. I never see my mum react so hype, when she told me, how excited she was, when Ellie came to her class. I ask my mum, is that ok to proposed Ellie at her early age and I don't want her to stop her dream or rush to have family, even I'm already ready. My mum joke at me, if I wait too long, she might got kidnap, lol.

And here we are..tied our knot tiedly until death us a part..

In case you’re interested in participating…

1) Create/Pick your sim

We are looking for human male sims aged 40–55 years (sim age adult). Otherwise, it's up to you! Widower, single, hopeless bachelor… The candidate doesn't need to be absolutely perfect for her, rough diamonds are OK. We want a diverse cast of candidates, so be creative!

You can create a new sim, or use an existing one or a premade. Maybe don't use someone else's creation unless you've got a permission. It’s OK to use a sim you’ve entered into a BC etc before (as long as they aren’t competing any more)

Give your sim at least one casual and formal look (more the merrier), the other looks if you like (At least check they don’t look too ridiculous ;))

NO Romantic or Out-going traits

Maxis Match CC is allowed, BUT less is more!

I may change the sims’ looks (skinblend, eyes) to match my aesthetic ;)

2) Introduce your sim

Make a post and introduce your candidate (something like these)

First let me say a big thank you to everyone who has participated in helping our girl find love! The amount of ya'll sending in sims, commenting, and reblogging has been amazing. I truly appreciate all of you so much~~

So, I have 12 contestants confirmed with the possibility of 14 total. That's waaaay more than I even expected to have so I will officially be starting the challenge next weekend. This will give me time to edit outfits, fix cc issues, and come up with a system for this. Right now our league is going to be split into 2 groups. Once I'm down to 6 sims then it will be 1 group.

I like the idea of doing an alternate elimination. Which means one "week" no one gets eliminated but the following "week" a person from each group goes home. That way everyone's sim get's air time :)

expect some fun teasers and mini interviews of the contestants through out the week. Those of you who entered sims- be on the look out for a message from me this week!
