Andddddd I'm BACKK after not being active for damn near 4+ months!!! ;) (Lets act like that never happened)

Anyways since I'm here I might as well share w/you all a project I've been working on since like the summer of last yr. It's a bunch of hyper realistic lots for the sims 3. As you can see I have some homes done but it's not just that, I'm also making high schools (magnet ones included), a Target inspired supermarket, mini-stores, and a magnet elementary school to finish it off!! Stay tuned for this stuff, I'll be posting it in the future!! (hopefully not in 4 more months LOL)

1 week and a lot of crying later...

Yep! This is a scripted object and your beloved TS2 sewing table! I actually am getting pretty far with this thing. As you can see it has a lot of bugs. Not just the mesh but also hovering sims :p But, those are easy fixes

Ideas:

If possible, creating its own Skill

Convert every sewable thingy from TS2 to TS3

Add my own sewable thingies (This goes as far as “Casparts” and “Objects”. With CASpart, think of a mannequin and "unlocking” sewable clothes that way :))

I might make it so that pillows can be easily slotted on couches. So you make them first, and so you can slot them to couches :)

How can I help:

First off, this is going to take quite a bit of time to release. But, if you got the following, it will help me a lot!:

Any inspiration that you might want to see! Keep in mind that this isn’t the same as requesting. 

If you’re interested in making a few objects or CASparts for this, let me know! That way we can discuss it :)

Any sound files of a sewing machine if possible :) And, that I can use in this project of course! So this shouldn’t have any massive background noise or talking. 

Any feedback? Suggestions? etc? I’d love to know!

| Medieval Build |

Decided to give it another go on the first medieval build I did and lost because of the borked save. It's not 100% the same as the first one, but I actually like it loads better.

Since Logan will be moving out when he finds himself a wife, I decided to match this house with his brothers. Plus - I used the yellowed/aged wallpaper on the previous build.. so..

Not dead! But been, busy and all that. I am however still working on that snow mod so I thought lets share it with you guys :) 

!! Any feedback or ideas to add to this snow mod? I’d love to know !!

What has changed?

Snow terrain now has a new texture.

Snowy/frozen windows got revamped.

Snow has better sparkles now

Icicles now aren't as super bright and have a new texture

Porches and objects that have big footprints now don't have this weird grassy and foggy texture. Instead, this is now the same snow texture as the snow terrain

What I'm working on currently/still needs doing

Ice on ponds to be more realistic and nicer looking

Having some snow dots on foundations and walls as far as possible. Image here for a better understanding

Maybe tweaking the windows a bit to be less intense?

Trees having more depth in the snow. See stump area where the snow goes a bit higher

Making trees actually the same correct color white. See image with pine trees

Making a new mesh for icicles so they don't look like they could stab someone just by looking at it

Any suggestions made here in the thread Something script-y is fine too!

SO.. THIS TOOK FOREVERRRR!

But I’ve finally found a spot in the yard where Sybil (and your sims) can feed the chickens AND harvest the eggs as well was fight with Charles the evil chicken!! <3

I was sad at first that I couldn’t leave my chickens where I originally had them, but I am pleased with this outcome!
