Heeseung texts you. "Lets talk now?" he asks. "Sure meet me at my locker." You text back. Honestly your really scared to the point you might even pee or poop your pants. You havent talked to him ever since the fight. So you dont really know what to say. You lowkey zone out for a few minutes til heeseung shows up. "What do you want?" He asks obviously NOT wanting to be there. "Why the fuck are you with Yeji? Am i NOT your girlfriend?" You asked him quite literally deathstaring him. "Listen she's better anyway like why'd you try punching her?" he asks as if he's trying to avoid the question. "Punching? So i started punching now?!" You say kind yelling in the school hallway. "WHY DOES IT MATTER TO YOU?!" He asks still avoiding the question. "Heeseung its my way or hers. Choose." You say literally annoyed to the point you might drop kick him like a kickball. "And what if i choose hers?" He says. "Im done with this fucking bullshit see me out of this relationship. All i was trying to ask was why your flirting with your ex!" You yell. "OH IM FLIRTING NOW?!" He yells back in defense. At this point Sunghoon, Jake, Jay, Karina, and Yunjin found you and Heeseung. You quite literally almost punched him but then Karina, and Jay held you back. Then you black out.

Now your in the nurses office. All you remember was Karina and Jay holding you back. Nothing more nothing less. The nurse walked in. " Yoon Yn im sorry to say this but you have bruises and have a serious head injury that might not heal really fast because you've been hit in the head by Heeseung." That fucking bitch. How'd you even like a man like that? All because you tried Sneakin out tryna meet with someone you shouldnt see.

AN: What an interesting way to end a chapter. Why is heeseung lowkey a bitch in this chapterrrr. Im so sorry i havent been updating but it's because my sports. I literally have volleyball games back to back every week.

VELVETTE HEADCANNONS!

Not my usual post, but I thought I'd share! Have fun reading :)

♡ (if it wasn't obvious enough) She's a lesbian! I love the little girl-liker third wheel to a mlm couple (vox and val) her and the other vees have going on, plus the velvette x verosika art i see is ALWAYS so beautiful!

♡ referring to this post below:

She owns corsets (yet doesnt use them much because LOOK AT THAT WAIST), and one or two have definitely been stolen....by both of her male conterparts.

♡ She sews! Not ALL the time, since she's busy doing things like running shows and doing photoshoots, but I feel like it'd be a little something nice to do in her free time. Blasting some music while tailoring a new coat or something.

♡ She only wears the same colors. I know this is a little obvious from the few outfit changes she has in the show, but imagine it. A large walk-in closet filled with ONLY pink, purple, white and black. (And perhaps a singular green christmas sweater.) They're not ALL just dresses and jackets, she has pants and t-shirts too. She just likes to dress femme and throws in a masc/more casual outfit from time to time.

♡ She has a diverse music taste. I might me self-projecting here a bit, but I think it'd be pretty cute to see hee listening to different types of music. Like listening to something metal/punk when wearing an 'emo' outfit (one thst consists of mostly black) or some pop/r&b when dressing up in her normal dress-and-tights- combo. It helps her get in the mood.

♡ She has a close relationship with Vox and Valentino. This is also shown in the actual show, seeing how docile they are around eachother, but I imagine the boys and Vel having a brother-sistertjust generally close relationship, like Val and Vel would talk shit and go shopping one day or Vox and Vel talking about the shoots they're doing/planning on doing and having their nails done together. (Painting Vox's claws or sharpening them since he doesn't really have nails.)

♡ She's a little nerdy. I'm not talking about book-nerd, more likke a genuinely-invested-in-fashion-and-knows-about-its-history nerd. Like she'll read up on magazines or articles about how the kitten heel came to be or fun facts about the creator of a specific clothing brand she likes. She doesn't bring it up often, more of a random thing she'll drop into a conversation to keep it going. Also, since she's on her phone all the time, I think she'd be a little bit of a tech wiz like Vox. Like he'll give her a prototype for a new V-Phone and ask her about any bugs or special features. She'll evaluate it and Vox would give her his credit card for a day as a thank you.

♡ She has a major sweet tooth. I'm not saying she's constantly eating candy, given her figure and those crisp pearly whites, but whenever she's going out she'll get a milkshake or perhaps a little sweet treat at a local bakery. Not nicely, but still.

♡ Her full name, when she was still alive, was Veronica Barbie Hernandez, hinting at a latina/mexcian background. Her friends usually called her by her middle name or just Barb, since she had (and still does) such an affliction for having cute outfits and wearing pink. (I might draw her aswell as the rest of the vee's as humans, who knows)

♡ She has a doll body. This is a bit of a short one, but since she's based of a doll like Vox is a TV and Valentino is a moth, she has a plastic-y, smooth doll body. Specifically a ball-jointed doll body. (She can also pop off her limbs and/or head with little to no pain, using it to scare the boys during halloween or whenever she feels like it.)

♡ She's in her early 30s-late 20s, Vox and Val being around 30-40.

♡ She has 2 cats, one white cat named PomPom, and one tabby cat named Spike.

♡ Her favorite musicals are Heathers and Hairspray. (heathers fans hmu)

♡ Despite being known as 'the girly one', she grew up with 2 brothers. Both are dead and are running around somewhere in Hell, probably.

♡ She helps pick out outfits for the boys, despite them wearing (like almost every other male character) suit-like attire. She LOVES trying on dresses with Val, though.

♡ She goes out often. To shop, get food, get drunk, or to just walk around town and blog for her live feed. God forbid you bump into her though, especially if she's holding a drink (or just anything that could spill on her/something expensive she bought dropping onto the ground). She'll EXPLODE.

Cut to bender spying leela on hee date, and Bender keeps finding THE WORST flaws on the date and keeps getting increasingly aggravated at how they’re treating Leela until he barges in and throws the dude out into… the lake… their table is next to???

Leela’s like “why bender I thought you didn’t care”

And bender starts going on a rant that he doesn’t but he couldn’t just let that chump romance her so WRONG AND—he stops—eyes narrows—Wait. You were expecting me.

Leela smiles “Nooooo”

holy moly dude, I JUST HAD AN EPIPHANY

So I was reading Lore's character sheet (for drawing reference tee-hee) and I saw the part about her being corrupted/affected by the IGBP arc and I JUST FREAKED OUT BECAUSE MY OC HEXSY (she/her if you're curious about pronouns :P) WAS ACTUALLY REALLY AFFECTED BY IGBP ARC TOO!!

This ask is gonna be long. I'm so sorry I just freaked out, and I wanted to tell you about it cause I thought you may like it ( ´-ω-)

Basically, (Lore™ time *gets into the matpat pose*) while Three, Mario, and Meggy were trying to fight redesigned Toad (y'know, the long leg Toad), Four was getting annoyed by one of the ring lights in his room being too bright. Not thinking much of it, he stated out loud that he wished he could dim the ring light and used him Meme Guardian + Redesign powers by COMPLETE ACCIDENT. With that, Hexsy was born and also got some lovely scars, since Four transferred some of his scars to her with the Meme Guardian powers. He was really confused by this but ended up letting her stay in his room.

Anyways, this is leading me to how Hexsy may see SMGL:E (or Lore) and their relationship, plus the story behind it, tee-hee.

So skip some time to about a week later for when they need to get the star from Peach's castle. The pink scars on Hexsy's skin have mostly faded away, but you can just barely see them if you squint hard enough and are under certain light. (Very important)

(Also, side note: the scars end up not being visible later unless she's under high stress or during Puzzlevision when Mr. Puzzles had full control over her.)

When the gang jumps down the flesh pit, Hexsy splits off with Three, and they explore the caves. Hexsy thinks she sees someone, and when she takes another step forward, BAM, GONE. Three obviously runs back to the group while Hexsy is taken on a completely different path than the original one to the castle.

After Hexsy has walked a bit of the way, Lore drops down from the ceiling and corners her, asking her what she was doing down there and if she was there to hurt their avatar (Peach). Hexsy quickly denied it because she didn't even know Peach existed until now, explaining how she was still really new to the world, and also that they were there for the star in Peach's castle. Lore sees Hexsy's scars, and they both find themselves telling each other how they got them.

OK, LORE EXPLATION DONE HOPE THAT WASN'T TOO MUCH AHAHNENDNDNSJW

the movies... i watched them back to back in the same night of course, so it was very funny to like, go directly from v7 to post-v9. they were like Guys you will not believe the shit that happened to us since last time we spoke

of course it's crossover spinoff material and not that important to me in the grand scheme of things. so my mode of interaction with it is mostly Enjoying A Light Snack. i can't say i have many capital t Thoughts that are worth posting about individually bc of that. but i DID enjoy the post-v9 aspect of movie2 bc like--altho obviously they can't dig into this shit in a crossover spinoff film--it still gives somewhat of an inclination towards what the writing room is thinking about. ruby especially i had a great time with. how's figuring out the summer rose shit going for you girl (BADLY) (LOL)

movie1 was a special treat for me because i loved all the "this doesn't make any sense this doesnt add up" Memory/Continuity/Spatial fuckery. i could've genuinely watched two full movies about rwby characters going "wait, that doesn't make any sense" at each other. i REALLY enjoyed that. very good show. pyrrha moment very fun also

i think zatanna shouldve showed up in movie2. for me.

i thought i was gonna miss bat ears brucie baby from the RWBYxJL comic more than i did. i think of him so fondly. but wings were kinda fun .... 🦇

movie1 had a little too much diana characterization disease for me to enjoy her. but that's so common its barely worth leveraging as Specific To This Movie. and i feel like she barely talked in movie2 so jury's still out on that. but of course there's a fair bit of wriggle room for the dc characters (in movie1 especially) as well given the "its a random ass crossover so the meta stakes have never been lower + they all got Genuine Teenager Brain for the whole first movie anyway"

movie2 had some pretty cool animation moments that i really noticed. movie1 wasnt like Awful but movie2 was the one where i perked up like "oh, that animation looked cool", you know? also i really liked the models they made for team rwby. the stylization felt nicely balanced to me?...if that makes sense. i hope we can see more models like them in the future just for me. idc who uses them but its my christmas wish RT please

Since my blog seems to be dying slowly I'm introducing Monday Motivation where I show you a plot of a WIP I'm probably never gonna write in the near future, in hopes to get my motivation black to write back.

This weeks WIP: Dangerous game

Length: 1-2 Fics or maybe a mini series

Plot: Y/N's cocky bf challenges Loki, to try and make Y/N fall in love with him bc he doesn't like that Loki spends so much time with her. He hopes to humiliate Loki in the process.

Loki, all snarky, acts like he would do it in a blink of an eye but in reality he has no intentions of doing so. He wants Y/N to be happy, after all she's just his friend.

Bf starts to notice that Y/N and Loki seem to get closer, he thinks romantic but its only platonic. He starts acting cold towards Y/N, becoming mad at her for the smallest things until he breaks it off.

Y/N is heartbroken, can't understand why he bf would leave her like that. Loki offers her a shoulder to cry on and supports her healing journey. They start hanging out more and after some time Loki realises that he has fallen for hee. Likewise Y/N, she asks him out immediately once ahe figured out her feelings.

Her ex finds out over social media and confronts Y/N and Loki at a Stark Party. He accuses Y/N of cheating and claims that Loki was lying the entire time about his motives and it was actually just a game for him to hurt Y/N and his relationship.

Y/N is confused at first and asks Loki for his side of the story to which he gladly obliges and tells her everything. Y/N's happy that their relationship doesnt base on a lie and that they're really are a good match.

I think my favorite song from them is Frou Frou in Midsummer Fires but im feeling off about that answer but only cause ive listened to it such an obscene amount its like. im almost sick of it . due to my depression its hard for me to enjoy any artist anymore but basically i love Frou Frou because i listened to it most in such a god awful time in my life and it encapsulated that feeling so perfectly..... so powerful and devastating sounding. i feel like the quantity and quality of brief stupid & irrelevant team exchanges went up and i am SO here for it. jay has redeemed his poor choices from last season purely by virtue of being part of 50 to 75% of these, for the record. this has been so extremely enjoyable i dont even know where to begin.

the concept of the "hands of time" being twins with symmetrical time powers is honestly. so cool and even if the execution was mid i am still so Extremely glad this exists. because its very cool. i do wish they had better designs though usually the ninjago designs are. well most of the time theyre not spectacular but they're generally fine. these guys are ugly tho.

weekly drama #thoughts

right now, my favorite airing drama that i’m keeping up with is our blues. the episodes seem to build on each other/the drama is getting better with every ep, which i much prefer to stories that start out strong and then fizzle out. i love how messy everyone and their interpersonal relationships are, and if you would have told me that two, feuding middle-aged single dads would have been my favorite storyline i would not have believed you but here we are. im also a sucker for the ships passing in the night and Hero of Another Story format that we’re getting. standouts for me so far have been the relationships between The Dads and their teenagers, shin min ah’s character and how well/nuanced depression is being depicted, and i cant wait for more on the han ji min and kim woo bin storyline. 

drawbacks are lee byung hun :| im not the hugest fan of the actor or the character so it’s like a double-dose of please get out. im also hoping hansu doesnt make a return :’D

my liberation notes continues to be oddly soothing to watch. unlike most of the viewers, i dont feel an intense relatability to the characters other than i also hate commuting lol, but they’re all interesting. obviously im a sucker for mr. gu and mi jeong, and i wont lie that’s a good 85% of why im watching the show, but i also like the introvert squad (esp my curmudgeon rep mr. manager) and chang hee is growing on me. gi jeong i really want to like but she is honestly just too much for me in a bad way right now, which makes me sad because i adore lee el. i do like her interactions with her boss though. im excited for the possible gangster storyline

sh**ting stars i am watching but im on the fence with it. the “africa” scenes were so bad i thought they were an intentional parody and then they...weren’t. which is a big first strike. the editing in the show is really bizarre/annoying as well, especially since the cast is so huge it was overwhelming for the first two eps. eps 3-4 were moderately better. 

weirdly enough, what i like the most about the show is the business element of it, which is usually my least favorite part of a drama. seeing all the different components of the entertainment firm come together is super interesting. i also like the platonic relationship between han byul and yu sung/how much of a big bro yu sung is in general. right now my favorite character is actually the lawyer, because i respect that healthy work/life separation lol. im going to give this show another week or two of eps and see if it’s working for me, since i do also love a bickering couple

Oh I don't doubt edelgard believes her cause is just. The thing with her is it doesnt stop with her reforms and her toppling of the church. Thats how we know her goal is conquest.

In 3 hopes she had her reforms made WHILE rhea was in power. And Even with Rhea dead and the central church dissolved she doesnt stop her war. At this point it is no longer about removing the church to make way for reforms. Because she accomplished both of those things and she's still not done.

Why isn't she done? Because thats not her ultimate goal. She wants all of fodlan under her control. Funnily enough, Claude says it too. His reason for killing rhea was because he foolishly believed that would remove edelgards reason for war. ( it doesn't).

He also said that if she doesn't stop her war, then that means her war is just blatant aggression. In their supports he calls it Conquest and edelgard doesn't deny it, she knows what this is ( shes much more honest about it in 3 hopes) and she actually tells him she wants the kingdom gone, not just the church.

villains don't need to be like "tee hee mass murder , war , conquest! Yay!" realistic villains are those who truly believe in their cause and theyll say this is for the good of all. what makes them a villain is how they will do absolutely anything to achieve their aims no matter how much blood is spilled and how much suffering it causes. No "sacrifice" is too great for Emperor Edelgard von Hresvelg.

this is how they justify conquest irl no? Western imperalism 101. We say It's for a just cause. We say Its for their own good. We say our way is the superior way and they will see that (or die) . Truth is we can make up any reason for it , the end is the same and they still hate us for it. And i can't say I blame them for feeling that way lol

I was never trying to refute that Edelgard is an imperialist. She's absolutely an imperialist. There's really no getting around that. But I'm pretty alarmed by this take, because it discounts a lot of things about her and her character in favor of a read that her goals are motivated solely by selfishness.

And this is coming from someone who has an entire tag devoted to Edelgard criticism.

It bears repeating out the gate: I haven't played Three Hopes yet. I don't imagine I will for a while yet, and news on Edelgard's route has been sparse coming to my inbox, so I'm not able to speak on Scarlet Blaze in any real capacity (not that I take it as any sort of canon, myself, though that's neither here nor there). But I can speak on Three Houses, since I have played through three of the four routes in their entirety, including Edelgard's -- Verdant Wind, Silver Snow, and Crimson Flower are complete; I've stalled halfway through Azure Moon. And in the case of Three Houses, while Edelgard is definitely chasing an image of the past now lost in the form of a Fodlan united under the Imperial banner, I don't think it's fair to say that she's only after that.

The fact is, she's not wrong that the Crest System is bad and needs to be reformed. She lays the blame on the wrong target, through a combination of misinformation and only partial understanding of the larger situation (likely for a number of reasons, including the unavoidable evolution of House Hresvelg's "true" history of Fodlan passed to its heirs, potentially influence from the Agarthans in manipulating information for their own purposes), but she's not wrong about the fact that the system is toxic and something needs to be done. And that system doesn't exist only in the Empire: its influence extends throughout all of Fodlan. So she sets her sights on tearing it out wherever it's taken root.

From a character and narrative standpoint, it does actually make sense that she'd target the Church of Seiros: the faith of the land gave rise to the System, even if Seiros herself had no hand in it, and so the only way to change the system is to raze the faith of the land and bring about something new. And because the Church has footholds in the Kingdom and Leicester -- both of which also suffer from a system that overvalues Crests -- she takes her campaign across those borders. Yes, she also believes that the Church was responsible for breaking up the Empire into the Kingdom and later the Alliance, thinking that it was a means of creating artificial divisions between people to keep them in conflict and unable to turn on the Church and its inhuman arbiters -- but ultimately her goal was to free all of Fodlan from the Crest System, rather than only Adrestia.

I don't say any of this to discount that she does horrible things. Because she does. There's a reason I will never play Crimson Flower again. But to flatly vilify her rather than acknowledging her as a complex character with justifiable goals is something I can't accept. Making the situation out to be a black-and-white, good-and-evil dichotomy flattens what makes Edelgard interesting and compelling as a character in favor of presenting her as Lady Walhart but with enough sense to not broadcast her intentions. And that's not fair to her, because there's a lot more to her, her situation, and her character overall than what your message implies.
